Tiffany Neikart: I originally tried this business with a Groupon and then became a customer with a standing appointment over an hour long weekly.My first technician I worked with burned me so badly it took several weeks to heal and I still have some scaring. My second technician did a much better job, but did work slowly.My biggest problem is that I called with several hours notice to the business to let them know I had left work after throwing up. They immediately asked for My credit card. I refused, and asked if I should show up sick? The receptionist responded "Mask up and come in, or pay for the full session."I went home from work, slept, then set an alarm to get up and go for my session. I could hardly stand. It made me angry that they would make a clearly sick client come in, and that they would expose other clients and their staff.I came in, I again asked them, pleaded with them, that this policy is not in anyone's best interests. I asked if my comments could be passed on to an owner or operator and to have them talk to me, but I was never contacted.I canceled all future standing appointments at this business.While I understand why a cancellation policy exists, I also understand that acting in the spirit of the policy rather than the letter would be of good practice. Charging someone when they have the flu or Covid is an added insult to what already is a terrible feeling--or worse, forcing them to come in for a service that puts everyone at risk.Does this business really care about their clients and workers or are they really all about cashing in and converting groupon sales $$$?
Zainab A: Technician was untrained, seemed unfamiliar with the process (electrolysis). Previously, I had mostly all hair removed in about 20 minutes, it took her 40 minutes to remove only about 25%, and it was double the cost. Painful, didn’t offer to numb until we were almost done with the session. Attitude due to racism potentially.
Eli Zaborney: Bad covid19 policy. Said i shouldn't come in if i have a cough, which i respected, but still charged me a full session saying it was a last min cancelation. Receptionist said its to make sure everyone is still paid, but if i ended up getting the office sick nobody would have been able to work and be paid. Im glad they care about their workers but they lack customer care.

Nel Zee: I like going to their clinic. It is clean, they make sure to sanitize every time and have special protocols especially with the pandemic. Ann is really friendly and able to arrange my appointment easily and Elizabeth is really professional in doing the whole procedure. I had an upper lip removal for 2 sessions and I can say I have lesser visible hair there. It is a slightly painful procedure but you will get use to it eventually.
Christa Maddick: The building was difficult to understand at first, I thought I was in the wrong place. Once I arrived the staff was very welcoming. I got a 60 min Swedish massage with Desire and she was lovely. I made another appointment on my way out it was so great.

It was a little strange walking into what seemed like a completely empty building (it wasn’t. We went during lunch) but soon we found them on the second floor. Oh my goodness Allison is great. She makes a nice atmosphere for massages and made me feel 100% better. I didn’t realize how much stress I was carrying in my body. The only downfall is I wish I booked the whole day for myself and not just an hour.

Her anger made me feel unnerved, so I just walked out. If she had just said I can't take you because you're late, that would have been sufficient.

I've already received multiple compliments and would highly recommend going to Beach Haven for a quick and high quality tanning experience.Also, to whoever made the website, thank you for being so thoughtful and thorough with the Spray Tan FAQ section. I was nervous about getting a spray tan in general and felt intimidated by the process, but the website FAQ's and forms filled out in advance were SO helpful and made me way more confident about getting one.As far as the inside of the spa, it is so cute and welcoming. Even though it's on the lower level it's super light and bright. Brittany (the owner) did a fantastic job making Beach Haven feel like such a safe and inviting spa for everyone who comes in. I can't wait to come back!

I was sprayed by Morgan last week and I can confidently say that this is the highest quality tan I've ever had. No peeling, no orange undertones, and I have received SO many compliments.
