( Also Armstrong McCall in Florida and Alabama ) Yesterday, about an hour before closing, I entered the Carpenter road Ypsilanti, Michigan store and had the best service I can remember. Granted, I have rarely had anything BUT exceptional service at BSG stores throughout the years, but CONNIE ~ apparently a newer employee ~ hit the mark big time. Informative, passionate, and very patient for this being the final hour of the business day on a Friday. ( Or any other time!) I cannot say enough. It was the highlight of my week to talk to a fellow stylist and a kind, smart, and engaging one at that. Listening in public service is a rarity, but this lovely woman has it down. I was nervous about getting a spray tan in general and felt intimidated by the process, but the website FAQ's and forms filled out in advance were SO helpful and made me way more confident about getting one.As far as the inside of the spa, it is so cute and welcoming. Even though it's on the lower level it's super light and bright. Brittany (the owner) did a fantastic job making Beach Haven feel like such a safe and inviting spa for everyone who comes in.
