D M: Been at many barns. Am an admitted overprotective horse mom with a horse who has major health issues. These people care about my horse as if he was one of their own. They are willing and accommodating for anything I have every asked or needed for my horse. The facility is huge and wonderful as well as the other boarders being amazing people who are also willing to help and give advice whenever asked. Would absolutely recommend competing and checking it out if you need a safe and wonderful place to keep your horse!

Elizabeth Meyers: This is a great facility and very welcoming. The staff is so knowledgable and helpful. The horses are well cared for. The feedings are numerous making it better for the health of the horse. The stalls are large and spacious. Almost every horse has his own window.

Nicole Janssen: I used to love this place! Being from Germany I am used to some standarts that I haven't been able to find in most other barns I looked at before I came to Superior Stables. I love that the bath- and the observationroom are heated. A big plus is the warm water, so I don't have to hose my horse off with icecold water in summer. My Warmblood mare loved the place as well. The stalls are spacious and cleaned daily with some fresh shavings. They have windows to look outside, that provide horses with fresh air when they are not closed. The pastures are simply huge and the horses are usually out. Unfortunatly they don't rotate or fertilize, so they are overgrazed and muddy. The fencing is wire without electricity, so horses regularly would go through or get cought in which lead to some serious injuries while I have been there. There are only two cross ties for the whole barn which makes it almost impossible to get your horse ready on the weekends when there are a lot of beginner riding lessons. The indoor is barely usuable on weekends either because of the beginner lessons or kids birthday parties which makes it difficult to train your horse properly. The footing is very hard and dusty. Another thing that I had to find out about this place is that they simply don't care about your horse. The water buckets are sometimes not cleaned for weeks and only refilled no matter how stinky the rest in there would be. The water comes from a well and has a pretty bad quality. It often stinks, has a lot of iron in it and you will find an oily layer swimming on it. The grain is a cheap no name brand. On the weekends the barn duties are done by some lesson kids that would get free lessons in exchange. So your horse would not get medicine or supplements. Sometimes they would forget to refill the water buckets. All of the boarders are very nice, but either they care about their horse and leave or try to make it work by coming everyday and feeding and taking care of their horse on their own. Or they are simply clueless, like dragging their horse out of the stall when it had been in with no water, riding it and putting it back in with still no water and just leave. I have seen horses there dying from injuries that they did not take serious and colicing seems to be a weekly issue. If you are looking for a place where your horse and you are happy - you should better go and find a place where people would take care of your horse, because that is what you pay them for. Superior Stables is a very nice facility with an unprofessional management, that is not capable of ordering grain, hay and shavings on time, that is why they frequently run out of things. They are too lazy to clean the water buckets or drag the arenas or just keep the property clean.

Barbara, Jennifer, Riley and Tyler are an amazing team and I would only trust them with any of my horses. I have tried other barns in the local area, trust me when I say, the care of all horses on their property is second to none. (This includes ...boarded, lesson and the tiny tot Max) The staff at Superior Stables has a love for the animal and the sport, it shows in their every day actions.

H. Eugene Geno Rush: Five years ago, I was a city boy who knew absolutely nothing about horses except how to fall off. I have always been afraid of horses, so when my partner at the Sheriff's Office said one day I'd be riding a horse I laughed hysterically. But God had other plans for me and I put my trust in Him and said if this is meant to be please make a way and He did. Job one was to find a horse which I did but prior to that I had to have a place for the horse to live. I initially drove into the wrong driveway, but soon found the owners of the Superior Stable. I explained to them I had no where to keep a horse and they welcomed me in with Open arms and it has been a Blessing ever since! They are now my family with expert knowledge, training andhorsemanship with a natural love for people family and children. Since that time I have been to multiple stables but by far this is the Most Family friendly and well taken care of Stable I have ever been to and for that I am eternally grateful and thankful!! If you're looking for a Great place to Board your horse with a warm, friendly, family oriented atmosphere, Superior Stables is the Best Choice! You will not be disappointed!!

Horses Rock: anyone who boards here and thinks their horse is receiving appropriate care, is a special kind of stupid. the horses are not cared for as they should be, that is overwhelmingly obvious and the people who run this barn should not be allowed to run a boarding facility as they clearly don't know how to care for horses.
