Unlocking the Truth: Great atmosphere on the roof top deck and fabulous food. Four different pasta dishes ordered by our family and each one was exceptional and clearly authentic. Our waiter, Nate, was awesome as well. Accommodating, knowledgeable about what he was serving, and pleasant. Palio helped make my son’s birthday a memorable experience.

Rikin Patel: Undercooked pasta for two main dishes and the third one that was not as ordered marked our Mother's Day dinner.We were expecting to get some nice rustic Italian food to celebrate Mother's Day. Instead we were served really undercooked pasta and the third main dish was not what we ordered, that is messing up all 3 main dish that we did not eat at all.While they took the items off the bill, that did not save from ruining Mother's Day dinner.My recommendation would be to avoid this place.

Adam Reddick: I really wanted to like this place, but I ended up disappointed. First, for the positives, the service and atmosphere were great. Likewise, my Caesar salad was very good. However, my Bolognese was just...weird. I've had Bolognese in Italy, so I know what it is supposed to taste like. No, I don't expect theirs to be as good as it was in Italy, but this was just very watery and strange. I'll give this place one more chance, but I will definitely try something else next time.

It was just sort of amazing to have an apparently from scratch Italian kitchen where so many dishes were all pre- prepared and couldn't have ingredients omitted. Just felt more like the menu items may not be as prepared on site as one would imagine.Server was young and needed work on knowing the menu. All learn able.

Rick Smoke: I went for dinner and sat at the bar on the outdoor patio rather than wait 20 minutes for a table indoors. The bartender took my drink order upon arrival. Then I was desperate to get any other sort of attention or service. After 30 minutes in isolation I asked a passing waiter if I could have a menu and she responded promptly. 10 minutes later I was finally able to catch the attention of my server and before I could place a dinner order I was informed "the kitchen is really backed up and it may be a while". Inquiring on what "a while meant" I was told "like an hour or more". I figured I would accept this kitchen's deficit and order a bottle of Chianti and some bread while I wait. The waiter quickly injected "I don't know if I can serve you bread" and didn't . Seriously?!I ordered dinner with a Ceasar salad (never saw the salad BTW) and my entree was delivered in 40 minutes. When it arrived I was offered fresh Parmesan cheese for my entree. Yes please! I asked the delivery person if I could also get bread for my party of two and for the party of two next to me (they were ignored also) and he responded "of course". Returning quickly with bread, olive oil and cheese he realized his grater was not to be found. The cheese section was left on the tray never be applied. I asked another passing waiter for silverware for us and the party next to us. The waiter replied they were not sure they had any. Again, "Seriously".The entree was as cold as the service.I have to say this was a terrible experience and will be hard pressed to return to this restaurant again.

Alex Hall: My partner and I went in for a little date lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and the restaurant was pretty empty, service was quick. The environment seemed nice, classic old school Italian feel. We weren't too impressed with the food, the price to value ratio didn't seem right. I had the veal scallopini and she had the barata sandwich, both were fine but nothing to write home about. I find the veal at the Earl to be much better. With a glass of wine and tip we were out the door at 100 bucks for lunch, seemed steep for what we had, probably won't go back but glad we tried this place once.

Amy: Typical American Italian restaurant. You’ll find the traditional spaghetti & meatballs types of dishes. I had the calamari and asparagus for appetizers. The calamari rings could of been cooked in the batter a little longer, but the salad and sauce it sat in was delicious. The asparagus was just grilled/smoke flavor, not great and had no other flavor. Would of been better without the grill taste and just some butter, or more seasoning. It’s an ok place, not my favorite, but the salads looked really good and a large variety if that’s your thing.

They love their chiles, chili flakes, and chili oils! The red onion and pistachio pizza was so so so good.

Rachael Rewitzer: I got 8 pieces of ravioli and a lemonade and it was over $30. The prices are way too high to serve mediocre food that is never enough. I was still hungry afterwards. Plus hearing that the manager/owner whoever he is, is a creep and disrespectful and predatory towards the women staff is another major issue I have.
haley westhoff: My favorite restaurant in Ann. Never disappoints. My go to is the verde salad and a pepperoni pizza. But some other favorites: arancini, meatballs, any of their pizzas, ravioli, etc. You really can’t go wrong. Have gotten togo a number of times - easy to just pull outside on division and they’ll bring it to your car. Always great dining in too, good staff and efficient service.

Started with the calamari which came with marinara. For the main course I had the chicken parm with garlic noodles. Some of the breaded chicken got soggy from the marinara sauce. Anthony Flores: We tried this place on 5/19/2023. Wondered why this place was so dead on a Friday night - one look at their menu prices and we understood. The food is good, but NOT $36 for a personal deep dish pizza, good!! We split a *dinner salad and it was $20!! This place is RIDICULOUSLY over priced already, but then they have the nerve to charge you a 4.5% service fee, when you know that’s DOUBLE what they are paying!! Then to top it off, they actually charge your automatically figured tip on tax AND the service fee, too!!! Talk about double dipping!!! Save your hard earned money and go somewhere honest with good food!!! Will NEVER be back!!!
M W: Nothing leaves a bad taste in your mouth like shady business tactics. Went there at around 10:30 on a weeknight and as if the 4.5% "service" fee (that doesn't even to the "service" staff) wasn't bad enough I'm pretty sure they have adjustable menu prices depending on whatever thing they feel like (time of day, events, etc) because a 14" cheese pizza started at OVER $40. My bad for not going to NYPD or something.

Michael J Lambie: As a former college student, I loved Pizza House then and I still love it now. Whenever we're in town for swim meets with the kids, my wife and I make it a point to stop by. The pizza is just as delicious as I remember, and we also love the salads. Plus, they make one of the only milkshakes in the world that my wife actually enjoys! The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. If you're in Ann Arbor, you definitely need to try Pizza House!

Rachel Burns: Food was terrible and expensive, then there's 4.5% service charge on bill for inflation not mentioned on menu. Salmon comes with mixed veggies and its 95% broccoli. Asked for mixed veggies and was told they only come with 2 pieces of zucchini and squash. Side salad and rice are listed as sides, but I couldn't have a salad instead of rice without an additional charge. So many choices for better food, for less.
