Dave Saslow: I cannot overstate the satisfaction I have had with both of my equipment purchases and how happy I am I purchased locally. The after sale service has been over the top - I am not a commercial landscaper but they treat me like I am their biggest account. I am sorry I did not make all of my purchases at Weingartz - I purchased the EGO trimmer-blower-edger from a big box and am out of luck with service and have to deal with the manufacturer on warranty.

Joe Bdash: It's a trap! Held my tractor up for service for a month when they said it would take 2 weeks! To make matters worse, after finally finishing the service they said it would take yet *another* 2 weeks before they could deliver it back to me!!...Which means they were going to keep it *FOUR* weeks longer than they originally estimated, for 6 weeks total, SERIOUSLY!!?? As if 4 weeks into this it was suddenly a surprise that this tractor would need to get back to its owner!!?? On top of all of that there was a couple weeks where it was almost impossible to talk to anyone on the phone about the status and then they resorted to texting instead of just picking up the phone to talk! I also note that once the service is done they charge a daily rate for storing the equipment...so is this their way of skimming more $ from their customers?? Never going to use them again and going back to our serviceman that comes to you on-site. Tried to give Weingartz a chance but definitely never going back for service.

Jake Big: I purchased Stihl ChainsawFarmboss $600 2021 I used few hours less than 40 hours,It wouldn’t start so I took it in forRepair January 2023.They informed me that thePiston was scored that’s why it didn’t start it cost $450 to repair!They informed me I would better off buying a new saw!I explained to them it has less 40 hours on it.They told meThey couldn’t cover it in warranty due to age!I ask how did I get scored piston?They said using the wrong mix of fuel!I informed them I have 4 other stihl chains saws all using the same fuel with Stihl oil and recreational gas.Spoke to the manager asking him to cover this in warranty he refused.I took to another Stihl dealer the piston wasn’t scored!The repair was only $89 dollars way different from wiengratz !So they’re not interested in helping or taking care of their customers!All their concerned about is selling a new chainsaw.Shame on Wiengratz management!Shame on the customer service .I will never buy anything from wiengratz.Any estimate you get from them don’t trust them!

Nick Sheren: Hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I was willing to overlook the fact that the mechanic did not clean the carburetor on my equipment properly. Stuff happens...I get it. But the woman with brown hair and glasses was extremely rude, ignored me when I questioned why my equipment wouldn't start and also sarcastically hoped I "have a nice day" when I confronted her about her complete lack of communication. I would expect to be fired immediately from my job if I treated a customer with this little respect.

Since buying our home I have purchased a mower, string trimmer, electric blower, backpack blower (we have a lot of leaves) and a new snowblower for the winter of 2022-23. I have been happy with all of my purchases. The salespeople are very knowledgeable and have sold me the right equipment for my home. When I was in the store a few weeks ago to purchase the blower Joel showed me all of the features of the blowers and outlined the advantages and disadvantages of each unit. The blower is being delivered later this week and I am actually looking forward to the first snowfall which allows me to use my new Toro.I have also been very pleased with the service department. I have had them winterize my mower the past three seasons and the unit runs like I just took it out of the box. I love my local hardware stores, but would not go anywhere for home power equipment

We made our decision, paid for it, and a week later showed up to pick it up. The Weingartz team loaded it into my vehicle, noted that they already registered the serial number with the manufacturer, and we were on our way. Karolina Hupfauer: In the last week of April 2023, I brought my pressure washer to Dennis' Small Engine Repair because the machine would not start. I was told that it would take about two weeks before I could get the repaired pressure washer back. After three weeks, I called and inquired about when my pressure washer would be fixed. "We are busy, it will take another couple of weeks" was their reply. On May 25, exactly four weeks after I brought the pressure washer to their shop, I picked it up again in the same condition. They never looked at it.If they are so busy, they should tell the customer upfront, and not giving an estimate which they know they cannot keep.If it were possible, I would give their service zero star.

Doug Marcum: I like to deal with businesses near me so I called Dennis' Small Engine Repair and Dennis answered right away. I asked if he could pickup and deliver my Toro snow blower that would not start and told him I had the mechanism that turns the rotor blades attached with a zip tie and asked him to fix that also. Later that day he stopped by, picked the snow blower up and said he'd bring it back the next day running like new. I could not believe it! True to his word at 5:30 PM the next day he returned with it and it indeed was running like new. "That's the best service I've ever had!" I told him. The bill was very reasonable also and I highly recommend Dennis' Small Engine Repair to ALL who have a problem with their machines!!! Thank you Dennis!

DavidT: The shop has quoted me to diagnose a bad starter on a John Deere 318 at about $350 and I told them to go ahead and begin work , once they replaced the bad starter they called me to let me it now turns over but would not start. At that time Dennis’s shop mechanic should have told me how much time he already has into the tractor, because the other issue the tractor has was the carburetor needed work to start better and they did not give me a new quote to fix the carburetor with a current price of how much I owed for installation of the new starter.I got into an argument with the owner when they informed me that the tractor was done and running and my bill was over $1040 which they didn’t quote the job correctly in the first place.Then they dropped off my Mother in laws tractor at her house all filthy dirty from the mud splashing all over the clean tractor that Dennis originally picked up.Needless to say I would never recommend him again .

Dennis promptly picked up my machine, fixed the issues I knew I had and fixed a few issues I didn’t know I had. When he dropped off my machine he showed me exactly what was wrong and why it needed fixed. Prompt, honest, reasonable prices. Highly recommend

My Dad owned it before me and had it serviced every Season… The last two times “Its never been here” (still had tape on the handle from the last time it had been serviced) and “It needs these parts”… After spending $150 or so, it comes back running like crap… Then in December, I fill it up and it won’t start (Can’t even get it to turn over plugged into the wall) They might know how to make things run in their little shop, but in the real world, it’s a money pit… No reason to Service Gas Powered, Garbage, when it’s simply cheaper to replace.

We were having issues with the pull starter for our snowblower and I called to see if I needed to bring in the entire snowblower or just the starter. They assured me that I did not need to bring in the entire snowblower and that they would be able to get it figured out and fixed. Within seconds of pulling up I was greeted and assured that they would be with me in just a minute as they were currently assisting another customer. The gentleman that helped me took a quick look at the part, took it to the back, and within a few minutes had it fixed for me! Not only are they friendly and efficient but also offer great customer service and expert knowledge and skill! I will definitely be returning to Don's for any future small engine needs and potentially upgrading my snowblower in the future!
