Loren P.: I was ghosted by Alpha Metal Finishing and Greg Wood after being a customer for a few years. I received a letter in the mail saying they were discontinuing business with me "after reviewing order history and issues we encountered". Nobody every communicated any part issues with me and I always paid my bill very quickly. Early on I was unhappy with their bolting rack method for black anodizing cosmetically finished parts, because it left behind an unfinished hole containing some sort of white powdery residue. Alpha also recommended acid etching my 6061 aluminum parts as part of the process in order to create a more uniform finished look. The acid basically stripped my finish work off the aluminum parts being ran and created a very flat looking finish that was prone to showing fingerprints and oil smudges in a custom machined cosmetically finished piece. I have attached a couple pictures showing the unfinished bolt holes in an acid etched piece and also a piece that had white streaking in the black anodized finish.

Mr. Kelly Covelli: Friendly and helpful staff. The location is near Michigan stadium, plan accordingly.
AJ Gun: Went in to get a small water pump welded. It’s clearly cast aluminum which an experienced welder should know right away, walked into the office, the owner (I think) comes out and asks to look at the piece, as soon as I pull it out says NO, then I show him a tiny hairline crack and mention this is not much should be a small job, he takes the piece in his hand and returns it and walks away. Says nothing. I yell at him and ask “so no?” and I leave. I am an experienced hobby welder but do not have the expensive TIG welding equipment needed for this job, went to another place and finished the job in 15 mins. Avoid this place.

William Martin: Called first, was told they do ceramic coating. Drove 35 min with part to be told they don't. Says it's not cost effective, like someone driving 35 min for something you said you can do then tell them no face to face. I was going to be a returning customer, but after wasting my time without a care I will never be back.
BWS1205: There are many places to have powder coating done in my area, but after speaking with these guys I choose to give Bean’s Best a try. I’m super happy with their professionalism (Amy is the nicest person and an excellent communicator). The quality of work is very good. They powder coated 5 Land Rover Discovery 2 wheels for me and cleaned up the areas that were scraped by curb rash. The color is a strong metallic silver that matches the center caps perfectly. I strongly recommend these guys...they have the passion for everything they do, and at a fair price.

Ed Phelps: I have been using Bean's best for about a year. They just updated their cure oven for longer parts. Just had my frame and other parts sandblasted and painted. Parts are awesome all through out. Inside of all cavities were painted, could not find a spot that wasn't. Best price by far, top notch quality, alongside awesome employees. Highly recommend, lot's of colors to pick from.

Elliott Urban: I am one of the fussiest people, possibly ever, and always have something to complain about. Julian's works has always exceeded expectations and I am convinced he uses witchcraft. His coatings all seem to hold up better than should be expected. He did a set of two stage coated rims for me that look better than any rims you'll see at Northern Worthersee. I would recommend him to anyone, even with exotic, difficult, or top dollar parts.
Jason Parkhurst: Julian and his crew are true professionals, well worth the wait.
Seth Berger: Julian and crew are hard working, talented people that really understand the coating process. I brought a set of sport bike wheels to Julian to repair after another powder coat place in Canton did a terrible job. It was a difficult task and Julian pulled through. The wheels look exactly how I wanted them to in the first place. Please save yourself the time, dollars, and just bring your work to Julian first. I think he will appreciate not having to fix someone else's mistakes!
Jonathan Dobrei: I had trouble finding a nice range hood for my stove and had the idea to powder coat one i found online to match the vein colors in my granite counter-tops. Julian was able to show me color options, time it would take to complete and give me pricing options quickly. They did a great job and would highly recommend to friends and family.

They listen to the workers that's important. If you need a job until you can find something better great starter job good money just bring your thick skin and you will do fine.
