Arborcrest Cemetery: what do users think?
Matthew McRitchie: Great final resting place, people are just dying to get in ;)Nice location, peaceful serene setting. Includes options for graves and cremains. Identifies ability for free burial for veterans (convenient considering proximity to VA hospital). Lots of wildlife seen in cemetery, including deer, coyotes, wild turkeys and others. Has a small pond near entrance that attracts waterfowl including ducks and geese. Also, snowy egrets and great blue herons.

Michigan War Dog Memorial: what do users think?
A Smith: My Mother showed me this monument, hidden by forest and brambles years ago, we had to search to find it, years later I took friends there to see it, The pet cemetery was hidden but the big monument was there although there was no dog statue on top at that time. I was always afraid someone would buy the land and just destroy the history of this place. Now that it has been restored I am amazed by how close to the road it is as there were times we could not even find it in the woods. It always makes me cry when I think about all the dogs left behind in Vietnam, after serving our troops, what a horrible thing to do but nevertheless I am glad they are remembered here and this memorial is truly a Michigan gem.The newer graves from more recent conflicts are a treasure as well, Sgt Mina is forever in my mind.
Unscriptedmomlife: This place has come a long way. Very clean and great place to respect these dogs .
BcOneSeven: Beautiful tribute to Our Nation’s K9 Fallen. Sad, but amazing!
Cynthia Walker: Saw the sign for the Michigan War Dog Memorial while driving on Milford Road and 11 mile. Stopped. What a Surprise! See headstones and memorials that "honor the courage and loyalty of K-9 dogs who fought with their handlers", 911 search and rescue dogs, Vietnam Memorial Wall War Dogs, Oakland Co. Sheriff's office K-9 unit, and other memorials representing K-9 and working dogs. We happened to meet a Volunteer while visiting (Thank you for your time and Service). This Michigan War Dog Memorial is not only informative but emotional. Donations appreciated, however, not required. Parking lot available.
RoseLynn Robbins: Walked the paths and checked out the graves of beloved service dogs of all types. Respect to the dogs lost in wars, drug busts, sheriff's offices and KIA dogs.
Andrea S: Nice little memorial park to service animals. Could bring a book and sit for awhile.
Jim Bonine: This wouldn't mean a lot to the average person but what a shame to have something this special and not to stop and see it.. it hits home for all that was given to the man and women of all of the military serice from the love of these dogs. Work was there job, love and smipathy is what they gave to everyone who came in contact with them. Can you Emagine being out in the field for weeks and months and they out of nowhere a soldier and his dog shows up and that dog comes over and just lays his head on your lap, that would differently Chang you day or life. The place is worth the time
Dale Smith (D Smith): Awesome tribute to K-9s and their handler's.
Kimberly Turner: Such an emotional experience! 🐾💙❤
Chris Velfling: If you get the chance to stop here it's definitely worth while. Wonderful thing they are doing for our service dogs.
Amy Clark: Can you take your dog here? I have a retired k9 cop Belgium malinois. He is fine with people and dogs. Very good boy
Wesley Insko: Beautifully kept up, military an police dogs who have died or killed in line of duty. Also service animals for people with disabilities.
shetan noir: Amazing memorial to police and military k9s
Shawn Washburn: Beautiful, peaceful place.
Candace Fuson: Such a sad place knowing that K-9s were left behind in Vietnam after they protected our soldiers. A wall of names honoring them. A beautiful memorial for K-9s that served though, makes you think.
Richard Borges: Was very nice verywell taken care of. Enjoyed it greatly.
Ralph Yard Sr: Great experience. Honoring mostly forgotten heroes. Very touching memorials.
Robynn Reed: Beautiful tribute to all the War Dogs
Cheryl Wiggins: I had never been here before, it is a wonderful memorial and a very nice place to visit. Nice that our four legged friends are being honored for their contributions to our freedom.
Lawrence Wiggins: Don't even know a memorial existed for working dogs. Great
Patty Jamison: Beyond words!

Washtenong Memorial Park: what do users think?
Jeffrey Edwards: Cant get any type of straight answer. First of all, I gave them the Block,Section and plot numbers and they coudnt find them. Then they finally did. Sent me a quote which I felt was too high. Asked about it then they said they could do something along the lines of what I wanted, sent cost back and was less than !K difference for significantly less. Then they replied again and said they could sell me a plot I all ready own and then 1/2 a plot for more. Would only sell me a 5K marker. When asked for clarification they ghosted me.
Scott Weiland: We found Pete Raft and staff to be very professional, accommodating and respectful. We had two internments and ceremonies in 2022, one for my father in law and other for my father at Washtenong. Both were perfect thanks to Pete and his staff. We were so impressed that before we headed back home to Georgia, we purchased our own niche.
L R: Beautiful burial options inside and outside. New staff has made a considerable difference. Thank you, Jessica!!
Angela Porter: Getting angry all over again about the reinterment for my dad because Washtenong Memorial Park inAnn Arbor, Michigan disrespectfully, inconsiderately took advantage of a grieving family by placing him not only in the wrong vault but $3000 cheaper one. Someone who served his country, protected the public as a correctional officer, dedicated his life to his family. My dad's wife Kimberly Napier honored him and his final wishes completely (Kim went through this with her mom 2018 in Lansing). Unfortunately and from experience, funeral homes and cemeteries WILL have the nerve and audacity to do this when you would think the opposite with them being in this profession. On my mind heavy today, due to the 1month funeral anniversary (12/28/21) is tomorrow; allegedly now. they have received the correct vault: we will have to schedule another burial. Praying he is not wet! It's unsettling to go through even once let alone twice, and not able to appropriately grieve until he is respectfully laid to rest peacefully🙏🏾
Megan Kenyon: My grandma was buried in 2004 and it has never been kept up. The place in the back by the pond looks like a dump. In the winter they don't care for the ice-once my uncle slipped on it and fell. Another time my grandpa fell because the snow wasn't plowed and he couldn't see the step. Half the time they don't put a flag in my grandpa's plot for being a veteran. If I had the power to remove my grandparents I would do that in a heartbeat.
Kelly Trueblood: If I could give this place a negative 10 stars I would. They double charge for a service that will only be done once. The manager SANDRA.... Her favorite term is "I don't know what to tell you" heard it 7 times at my mom's death. We went in to make our own arrangements for the future and that still is her favorite term. This place has changed owners 6 times in 10 years. They sell the same plots to 4 different family's and expect you to be okay with that and just accept what they have left to offer when my parents bought their plots 40 years ago.
Yolanda Yancey: Although it’s not something most people including myself enjoy discussing life is not separate from death. It only looks that way. After attending a family friends Beautiful Mother’s HomeGoing Celebration, my heart smiled; knowing her final resting place would be entombed inside of one of your uniquely designed mausoleums.Washtenong Memorial Park Cemetery is one of Ann Arbor, Michigan’s HIDDEN GEMS. A “Silent City” created to honor our loved ones life, legacy and memories, that are now a part of us.
Megan Harvey: Honestly very disappointed in the staff and grounds keepers. To anyone who's family members these are I am sorry to see this , but this is fully unacceptable and this is the exact reason people shouldn't be barred in this weather. These people head stones are cracked and some even displaced to the point they where obviously drug across the law and my great grandparents stones alone with the neighborsing ones are now underwater due to their ignorance. . .Unacceptable and you guys should be ashamed of yourself. Respect the dead you where paid to care for!
Rita Morgan: You should make pictire sharable for families can have in phone and PCS. And to pass to out of state relitives.

Botsford Cemetery: what do users think?
Don Neuendorf: Very simple. Very old fashioned. A graveyard connected to the local history.
Paul T: A small cemetery with important names in the history of this area of Ann Arbor. Dense line of trees surround this cemetery on three sides. Road noise of Geddes Road breaks the serene quiet I remember from visits decades ago.
