The client manager was very helpful before the session and Hannah was good as our photographer. Our baby was a bit grumpy during the session (likely due to stranger danger and the new environment). Unfortunately, none of us could do much to make her her usual smiley self, but we still managed to get a good set of photos (some grumpy-faced and a few that Hannah captured in those brief smiley/playful moments). A longer session would've improved our odds, but we're pretty happy with our result :)

Lauren Anderson: We are return clients after great experience with our first newborn session in 2020 for our son - Amy came highly recommended by 2 sets of friends and we felt comfortable with her in the pandemic setting with a newborn when so many things were unknown. We loved the outdoor photos and indoor shots both from that session and knew we wanted the same aesthetic for our newborn photos the 2nd time around with our daughter. We scheduled Amy 2 months in advance and were able to get a perfectly timed appointment when our daughter was 3 weeks old (May 2022). She offers rescheduling for incliment weather but we were fortunate to have a warm and slightly overcast day which was perfect for outdoor shots. Amy was incredibly patient during the session - having both a newborn and a toddler in tow, she was able to improvise and take advantage of photo opportunities both inside and outdoors on her beautiful property when our toddler was interested in participating. We brought our nanny who helped look after him when it was time for dedicated infant shots, and the animals on the farm were an added bonus for our toddler to enjoy! We will go back to her for all of our family photos in the future!

When you invite Kat to share in capturing special moments of you and your pet-baby she really makes the most of every moment, and every step along the way. This is not like taking a photo of your pet with your phone. This is truly capturing your baby's personality. She has a talent to make you and your pet feel comfortable and natural. She gives a lot of time and care in the work that she produces, and it shows from the moment she is behind the camera to the moment your images arrive.Our little baby (pug-baby) took a quick turn in health and we were scared we would have to say good-bye before we were ready. She has a permanent head tilt and remains off balanced from her infection. She is on a daily dose of CBD oil and it seems to help a lot!]
