This shop is clearly a personal business run by people who want to be the go-to place for fellow hobbyists in the area.ModelCave has a GREAT selection and will gladly order what they might not have for you (in my experience). They also have a wide selection of paints and hobby tools from many of the major players, both U.S. and Japanese (and France for Citadel paints).Prices are extremely competitive being the same, or lower, than most websites. Nathan Wheeler: Great selection of kits at very reasonable prices. Saw a neat looking Zaku here, and I’ve been hooked on Gundam models ever since.The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. They offer great advice for your particular modeling needs, and if they have something you want, they’ll hold onto it for you. Just a genuinely wonderful shop.

Rogelia “Roe” Sweeney: Neat little mom and pop owned model store. I was amazed at the variety of models they had for purchase!!! Volkswagon Bugs, The Kitt car, Scooby Doo Van, Fórmula 1 and Nascars to Motorcycle models, Star Trek to Star Wars and even Starskey and Hutch as well as emergency vehicles!!! My hubby was on cloud 9 as he viewed a few nostalgic models from his childhood even. Do Note.....Mask Is Required.

Lin par: The best selection of models and paints around which makes the store amazing. Thats even before the two owners who are just immensely friendly and make you wanna just pop back in regularly to say hi and grab some random paints

The internet is what it is. But to be able to walk into a hobby store, not a hobby lobby or craft store and enjoy that experience is getting harder and harder to come by. I picked up a 1/48 B25 for under $30 bucks. That beats ebay with shipping, and I had it when I wanted it! :)

Steven Schnepp: There are two kinds of GW stores; this is the good kind.The manager, Josh, has a genuine love of the hobby and will enthusiastically mentor newcomers and advise old grognards in building, painting, and list-building. More than once he's stated a desire to make it a center of the hobby community where everyone is welcome and comfortable, and I do believe he's succeeded.The shop's regulars are also a credit to the hobby, with the painters and the players alike being welcoming of newcomers. The painters are happy to show off their own work and gush over yours (or offer tactful advice, if you need it - I've yet to see someone be rude about this), while the players take quite well to polite observation and inquiries about their games (and if you catch them between games, will happily talk tactics with you).Then, of course, there's the true test of any hobby store: What happens when you bring your wife. In the bad kind of stores, you come away with horror stories about poorly-socialized nerds acting unpleasantly - which is why most experienced hobbyists scout ahead before bringing in their better halves. Here? She was greeted just like any other customer and soon got into a discussion about Space Wolf lore. She even had fun.I'll be honest, at this point this place is pretty much the only reason I'm still in the hobby and buying GW product. It represents the best in Games Workshop.

Mike Stram: What can I say, it’s a Warhammer store! It’s got everything you might expect, plus some neat tables to game on. What really makes the place special is the manager. You can really tell that Josh has a passion for the hobby, and they are happy to answer any question, no matter how dumb (trust me, josh walked me through my first ever game of 40K!)

Ordered the same gun in a different order same day 5 minutes after I picked up the first. Lazy rude staff will be going to canton or Jackson or hobby lobby

Cupid Valentine: I love this store , they have great selections and most of the employees are really awesome. I would give this store five stars but there are..some employees in the store I have issues with. While I was shopping I overheard one of the mangers (Threasa) yelling at an employee on the sales floor. Just ripping into the poor kid and being really nasty. I haven't really stopped in since.i usually like this store alot better because the staff are way nicer than at ypsilanti and it's a smaller store which helps with my anxiety. But after hearing that women just be well... not so nice to her staff. I don't know if I'll shop there while she's in the store.Props to the rest of the employees though. Good luck!!

Marty Murray: I asked if they could cut 5 yards of material at 1 yard increments, I was told no they could only cut it at 5 yards. The reasoning for this is because i cant cut a straight line to save my life, but I figured I had no choice, even bought a $25 dollar set of scissors to give it a try. I messed it all up cutting it to short and wasted $75 in material. Come to find out amazon will cut it this way for and are cheaper. Lesson learned

More are available on their website, but I pretty much needed to see them in person. A happy surprise was that they were on a good sale.
