Geoff Maturen: I would strongly caution against hiring this company. There are many more movers in Ann Arbor to choose from. This is the first time I have written a negative review on Google or any other platform. Ordinarily I promote businesses I've had a good experience with and ignore the others. In this case, when I paid in full for the hauling service --- with the assurance that the damage the movers had done to my house would be fixed -- I was bullied and given the run-around by the manager. The manager claims that I (somehow) coerced his staff to damage my house in the hopes of getting a pay-out from him. If I were a "scam artist" I must be the worst one in the world. As of now, I have paid in full to the have the couch removed and paid to have the plaster the movers damaged repaired. If you read the manager's response with that in mind, it is obvious that what he's asserting has no merit. Let the buyer beware. (As a side note, many of the "positive" reviews posted about them are suspicious: no full names and the users have not posted any other reviews.)

Kellen Long: The estimate I was provided served to be fully false. I was charged for three movers for a full day when one fell sick and left an hour into the move. I just want the public to be aware- I moved a 645 square foot apt (minus the kitchen! Which I was told to be the most extensive part of any move) into my new home. My total cost for a small one bedroom minus the entire kitchen ended up with a total of $1,831.50. My estimate was nearly half this amount. This hit me hard, mentally and financially. I just want to put it out there so people are aware.

The three guys he sent were dynamite and the whole process took less than 4 hours. The best money I've EVER spent. I would HIGHLY recommend this company's services.

Samuel Williamson: I highly recommend Frisbie Moving. We had a 7,000 square foot house, so it was a big job. The job was complicated by a grand piano, grand-father clock, appliances, exercise equipment, pool table, and a woodworking shop. And our move date was delayed multiple times.Steve (our contact) was great. He visited us several times to help us prepare, he let us use some of their “used” boxes, and he stayed in touch with us throughout the process. Steve was completely professional, and he made the move much less painful than we expected. I cannot recommend him highly enough!And to top it all off, the entire move came in about 8% LESS than what he quoted. What a delightful surprise to the job! I recommend Frisbie Moving and Steve with full enthusiasm and confidence. (They really were great!)

Aly Dorken: Asked for a moving quote. 1600 SQ foot house in storage units. Was told it would take MORE THAN ONE DAY to complete. Keep in mind that I only have one bed, one dresser, one table, one desk, bookcases and no appliances or sofa. 50 boxes.I'm not sure what this company does, but it's not residential moving. Other company did job in 4 hours. Very suspicious.

Jessica Silver: We used Frisbie for a move from Michigan to Maryland and had a bad experience from beginning to end - I would not recommend them to anyone. We signed a contract with Steve for a full pack but he submitted the paperwork for a partial pack, so only one person showed up to pack a 4 bedroom house. The packer contacted his boss who contacted Steve to send another person out, but he was a couple hours late to start and all the packing did not get done the first day. The day of loading our hardwood floors were scratched from furniture being dragged and the newly painted walls were scuffed all along the stairwell. I brought this to the attention of the supervisor and he said he didn't know who was responsible for the scratched floors and was unapologetic. On arrival several pieces of our furniture were damaged (some badly) and we had to file 11 claims. Everything is going in storage so I have no idea what state our breakables or framed items are in. The crew definitely did not take extra care in padding, wrapping, or loading any of our items. Lastly, our mattresses and box springs were not wrapped because the packers didn't have the correct size mattress bags. We were assured they would be wrapped but they were not, and were loose when delivered. This is our first time using professional movers and it was a stressful and unpleasant experience. I spoke with customer service for United and they said they were unable to refund any of our money and to pursue it as claims. Buyer beware!

Kate Boynton: Frisbie movers helped us twice, moving out of our home and moving back in after it was rebuilt after the tornado. They supplied us with boxes and portable wardrobes to prepare for the move. The movers were professional, hard working, and courteous. They arrived promptly and were careful with our belongings. I was most amazed when they disassembled a bunk bed, moved it, and reassembled it in my son's new bedroom! They also stored some of our belongings while we were in transition and delivered them when we were ready to receive them. I was most pleased when working with Frisbie's manager. He was very flexible in helping us find a date to move. I will certainly be using their services again should we move in the future.

It seems that a box of books didn't make it from A to B and since there was no inventory sheet at either end this wasn't spotted at the time. Not a huge deal but that's about $800 of books that we need to replace.

Cody Younkin: High turn over rate. I was an employee for years and there is a lot of shady stuff customers don't know when it comes to damages or work being done to their items. They hire people that can't even handle the job meaning it takes longer to get the job done meaning higher costs to you or higher chances of damages. I was told by the operations manager Mike not to bring up details to a damage we had court over (3000 dollar tv) unless the judge asked about it because he didn't want to admit he was in the wrong about how the damage was handled. We had to meet up before the court zoom call to "get our story straight to make sure it was the same." Very shady. I would be willing to say this under oath in court that the very shady behind the scenes situations of this company would make you go elsewhere. Even with damages they will make you take them to court to get your money back and even then they try to get away with talking the condition of your items down so they pay less. Management and how situations are handled are huge issues here. Lastly don't believe the quotes you are given and they are alot of the time under quoted but once the job is started/finished you are obligated to pay even if it goes over your quote (usually will) and if you don't pay, they will take you to court/collections. Be very careful with this company. You'll see for yourself.

Sandra Miselem: Amazing once again. Very clear about the pricing. Very clear about when they'd show up. They listened to everything I asked, and the move got done very quickly. They set up my bedroom exactly as I wanted it. Polite, caring, responsive. I've used this company in the past and there's a reason I keep coming back to them - they're not the absolute cheapest in town no, but they take care of your stuff.

I worked with Anthony's team and all my stuff got organized and packed during on Friday and got moved and unpacked on Saturday.The moving day is usually super stressful and overwhelming but with the service from Two Men and a Truck, I basically just relaxed at the back. The moving started on Saturday morning and get to live in a ready-to-live-new-home by Saturday afternoon. The team is super professional, patient, and handle all my stuff with great care. gonso7606: Were do I even start? It has been one month since our move from MI to FL and we are still waiting for our living room furniture to arrive. It has been all lies from the start. Initially were given a 1-2 week delivery estimate, two days before our delivery they call to tell us we aren’t getting all out belongings because of overflow and stuff coming later. Turns out you have to pay the 5,500$ dollars for full delivery ( don’t pay dont get your stuff) but nobody knows when the rest is coming. We scheduled the move one month ahead, and pick up went fine but afterwards they have been dishonest. After asking we came to find out our stuff was still in Michigan and it never even left the warehouse. Obviously they new and lied all the way. It has been 2 weeks and they still don’t know when the rest of our stuff will be delivered. I have used 3 other companies for big moves like this and this has been the worst. Would give Zero stars if I could.Update 7/27/21. Our furniture arrived yesterday from Michigan to our home in Port St. Lucie. After speaking with the delivery person we came to find out or stuff was lost. This now made sense since the delivery happened all of a sudden without our coordinator Catrina having knowledge. Obviously Corrigan will not tell us this. Again all lies from the start. Horrible experience.

John-Carlos Marino: Men on the Move packed a shipping container for us and severley damaged several pieces of furniture because of how they packed it, including two table tops with large gouges and a dining table leaf that's completely broken and unusable. The day of logistics were fine and the crew was nice and did the job in a reasonable amount of time. I wouldn't recommend using them if you have anything that you care too much about.

Sean Rice: I reached out to Men on the Move and spoke with Jeff regarding moving a piece of equipment from my neighbors to my house. Jeff wanted to make sure he knew exactly what we were moving and he came over to talk with me about the move. We had issues with a mover the previous day who had dismantled the equipment and caused damages and Jeff spoke at length on how we could best move the machine. My son and his friends ended up doing our move for us, something Jeff knew this while talking with us about it and he still walked us through the entire logistics of the move. While we ended up not using his services today for the move, he gained a life long customer for any future moves we would need. I will highly recommend this company for that exact reason, customer service. Timothy Donohue: I can't speak for all of the movers for this company, but the 2 individuals that helped me move across half the country were fast and efficient, pleasant and professional. I've moved multiple times from place to place, and these guys were, by far, the best experience I've had moving. No dawdling around in the truck. No smoke breaks. Just show up, grab the stuff, and load it in the truck as fast as possible. Between 8am one day and 10am the next day, they had me loaded up at my old place and unloaded at my new place, a 12 hour drive away. I can't recommend this company enough, if they can do this every time. The experience wasn't cheap, but... I'd use them again. I just hope my movers felt like I tipped them okay. Never sure how to tip on things like this, especially when the bill is already pretty high. That being said, 5 stars.

Jackie Brown: The gentlemen who moved me were phenomenal!!! I was a little nervous before the actual because of lack of communication with the actual company. However, once things were finalized these guys were extremely professional, on time, and handled all my items with genuine care from the most fragile (TVs and glass) down to the mundane things. Casey Finn: Overall pretty happy with Palmer. The communication could have been better with the scheduling - wouldn't let me book until I did a video walkthrough and then communication was very slow to actual book the date I wanted. It's probably why they were the only company that had the day I wanted available - because they were the most difficult to secure a booking with.Moving crew was on time, professional, did a great job with a tricky move.

Kathleen Martin: I highly recommend these guys! I'm 65, and somewhat disabled. They came to move me to a new apartmentThey were very friendly, quick, efficient & professional. I didn't go with them when they went to unload the truck. When I did get to my new apartment, I was expecting to see piles & piles of boxes, and things just dumped off in the livingroom. Instead, they put boxes in appropriate rooms, stacked them in closets and set up furntire, rug, etc so that walking in made it already look like a home. They even set my TV up that had previosly been moved in. They really went the extra mile! One of the movers names was Robert, I think, and I am so very sorry I forgot the other gentleman's name, I think it started with a,T.

I called them on a Sunday morning asking if they could help that day. They added me onto their their schedule for that day. They sent text reminders through the day to update me on when they would be there. The guys were professional, kind and hard working. There were a lot of stairs involved and they never complained.
