Chapala Mexican Restaurant: what do users think?
Tapan Patel: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Tina Fong: Service was terrible, Hector didn’t smile, and had an awful attitude! We ignored his demeanor, and enjoyed our night. Then, we got our bill, and asked why there was 20% gratuity added when we were only two people. He proceeded to say, it is because he had to tip out the bar.I said, being from the bar/service industry that it had nothing to do with me.I am tipped by servers, I understood that he had to tip out the bar.He then raised his voice, I then asked why he was raising his voice. Then, he asked why I was talking to him a certain way.I am a calm, and not a confrontational person. We asked to speak to a manager, who was not helpful…and asked us what we did to him?We did nothing. The food is excellent, but I would recommend a carry out order ONLY!!!!!
Rebecca Hurley: Beautiful place! This place is so unique! The entrance is one of a kind. The food is phenomenal!! If you find yourself in Ann Arbor, you should definitely check this place out!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Rui “Wudidaguoguo” Zhang: The food was OK, but our waiter was very unfriendly.
Nina Ayers: I've eaten here probably a dozen times. The funny thing is I've forgotten to take pictures of my food bc I'm so hungry and the food is way too delicious to waste any time.I usually visit here for lunch/ dinner after a day at the Ann Arbor Childrens Museum. I always park in the parking garage directly around the corner so everything is really close. Saying this bc I come here with a party of 6-10 each time ages ranging from toddler and up. Everyone gets a delicious meal with very large portions. The chips & salsa are delicious and never-ending. The staff is super friendly. The place is family/ kid friendly. They have beautiful outdoor and beautifully decorated indoor seating.I definitely recommend it. Next time I go I'll try to take pictures.
Brittany Battle: The birria tacos was super duper bland, the big amount of salsa I had to put on there barely saved it. The rice and beans was the only thing seasoned. The service was meh from the bartender… It’s over hypedFood: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Wilka Carvalho: Best Mexican you'll find in Ann Arbor, not amazing.Service is trash. Like garbage. They rush you. They don't listen to you. Terrible.Atmosphere is what you'd expect from Ann Arbor, a giant gimmick
Matina Snider: The food was so tasty, server Juan was very polite and helpful.Parking: Parking was easy
Maria Arce: Great place to have dinner. Latin music in the back. Waiters are super cool. Drinks have very generous size as the food. I order a birria quesadilla and took half home. Tmaz Taqueria (Packard Rd.): what do users think?
swishcamp81: I love this place! They are kind and respectful! They are quick too! Food is fresh and I love the portions!!!!
B: Ordered a carnitas taco. 1) it wasn't fried. 2) it had so many fatty pieces, not edible. Also ordered a tinga quesadilla and was given a veggie quesadilla. But by far the grossest thing was the churrasco wrap. The picture on the menu does not even represent what is given to you. It was a bunch of mayo with some soupy, store bought coleslaw, and a few pieces of unseasoned steak meat. It's crazy to me that people find this place good. Service was very slow, their dining area was sketchy, and the chips was so not tasty. Take the extra drive and go to S.W. Detroit for the real deal.
Leanne Horvath: Found this place simply through a Google search and I'm so glad I did. The food was excellent, the staff was pleasant and helpful, the pricing was very affordable especially for the amount of food we got, and I couldn't recommend it enough. I took some pozole for leftovers and I was dreaming about it the next day, it was just that good. Will absolutely be coming back!
Adam Holman: Do not order online. According to the liquor store next door, they've been closed for days and for some reason you can still order online.
Kelly Jones: Good place for casual tacos. They have really nice staff and are great at accommodating big groups. Highly recommend the potato and poblano tacos. Fresh juices are tasty. Very affordable. They seem to be constantly renovating so the atmosphere is always a bit of a hodgepodge.Update: I have been here many times and had a good experience, but the last time I went here, I saw a dead rodent on the floor in the dining area. I’m sure this happens elsewhere too, but now you know my experience.
Viswanath Akella: I think we have found our new go to Mexican place. Folks in there were incredibly kind, helped with food questions and were quick. The food was outstanding.
Awad Prop (AwadProperties): Probably the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I was visiting and stumbled upon this place. Great food, great staff and they even had the Mexican Mangolada. Everything I ordered was tasty.
Bayan Lahham: So so delicious! Best Mexican food I've had in a long time!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly environmentDietary restrictions: Were able to accommodate no pork/pork products
Alexander Plavljanich: Shameful. Hiked their prices overnight but failed to update online. Failed to honor their own promo codes.. cashiers need their ears cleaned. Took at least 3 attempts to correctly place my order both over the phone and in person, lied to about wait time. All for food that hasn't been as good as it has been for years. Truly a shame.
Leah Z: I placed an order through GrubHub to Tmaz, hoping only that the food was better than a recent order to a competitor in Saline, MI. My expectations were admittedly low, but here's the thing, I'm pregnant, and the cravings are real, and all I could think about was guacamole and tacos. I ordered three soft tacos, all with different protein (Tinga, Barbacoa, and Al Pastor), and they were AMAZING. Flavorful, not dry, really excellent texture. The rice and beans weren't just an afterthought, they too were full of great flavor, and the guacamole was excellent. Compared to my recent order with the competitor, where I could only stomach the guacamole (and it wasn't great), this was a completely different experience, with each meal item being a real delight.Additionally, I ordered with Grubhub, and my order arrived 40 minutes early, which really tackled my "hangry" feelings effectively. 10/10, Tmaz is my new go-to for cravings. Thank you so much!
R D Williams: Every time I order take out. The order is wrong! Tonight I ordered chicken enchiladas and got black bean! Will never order from them again! Money wasted!
Damon Corson: Guys is always very friendly and the food is great. He made fresh pico just for me when I came in. I stop here every Friday on my delivery route and i plan on continuing to come back every week.
Luke Sergott: Love their tacos! Marinated pork are my favorite
David Istilart: The carnitas tacos are really good. The pastor not so much...it seemed they used leftovers from pozole; it even had hominy and no pineapple.
Jenny Su: Oh my goodness Tmaz, you are absolutely horrible with your hours🤦🏻‍♀️ not just the Plymouth one, but Packard store too? I know you are open on Saturday, but I cannot tell till what time. PLEASE UPDATE ALL OF YOUR STORE HOURS on on your website and other platforms!
Deborah Stottele: Great authentic taste! Great service!
Robin Feldmann: Just no. Little ants crawling all over the counter. Food was nothing like the photo. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing to be fair. Still couldn’t get past all those little ants. I tried. Had the food been amazing but no way Jose.
Melissa Huffman: Fish tacos tasted like canned tuna but more fishy, gross!
Rossy G: Wasn't busy and they take 15 min for 3 tacos? Slow slowwwww!!!!! service! Too many people and nobody working. I don't even like to know when they busy how long it takes to get your food.
seth warner: Everything I love about taqueria’s. The pasole was phenomenal and the tacos pastor was definitely on point.
Rob Crozier: Great people. Fast service. Quality food. Loved the pick 3 meal with quesadilla, Gordita and taco. Fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend.

Isalita: what do users think?
Chris McMeeking: The best margaritas!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
C. Pearcy: Cute restaurant and very nice and helpful staff. However, food left a LOT to be desired. Chips and Verde Salsa which were not bad, but just not exciting.Ordered the Baja Fish tacos and was very disappointed. Fish tacos were 4" tortillas with avocado, pickled onions, and a single fried fish stick that was overcooked and burned.Overall, I just can't recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Staff was very proactive in asking if there were any dietary restrictions or food allergies before anything was brought to the table.
Brian Turner l: I was blown away with how good everything was. I will be back very soon.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Madison DeLacy: Please bring back the Al Pastor taco!!! So sad that it was taken off recently. After trying many of the tacos on the menu, it really stood out as the best one.Otherwise, Isalita is really some of the best Mexican food in Ann Arbor. Their happy hour is great (just make sure to ask to sit in the happy hour section) and they have a great variety of margaritas to choose from.
Joshua Bonilla: Still some of the best Mexican food in Michigan, and definitely the best margaritas around! Get the salsa verde, it's creamy delicious perfection!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Nachos, Carnitas, Chips and Salsa …More
Michael Santiago: Went here on Cinco de Mayo. The place was packed, but we got a table pretty fast. Nachos with carnitas were awesome, plus margaritas and beers on an all day happy hour. Main food portions were okay, don’t leave you hungry or way to full.Recommended dishes Nachos, Chicken Tacos, Carnitas Tacos, Carnitas, Chips and Salsa …More
Pamela AA: Recommend the passion fruit margarita and the carnitas.Long wait at busy hoursFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Carnitas, Ceviche …More
Vincenzo Semeraro: Secondo la mia esperienza, la qualità del cibo e la quantità delle porzioni non giustificano i prezzi così elevati
Nicholas Olgado: Awesome food but the price is too high for a small pitcher of margarita.
Eva Moore: Service was good and the atmosphere also was. For me personally, I think the food is overpriced for the quality. I've had better at smaller Mexican places and the price and quality of food was much better too. I think Isalita caters to a specific crowd that likes the idea of expensive Mexican food that looks fancy. Which is fine. But it's not what I would necessarily choose for myself.
Lillian Hazel Pearce: So yummy but expensive! I got the steak quesadilla and it was delicious. The margaritas were VERY strong, so if you’re weak like me, it won’t be a great experience. Guacamole was OK. The other people I was with had tacos and enjoyed them. Just $$!!! The staff is nice, though. Maybe squeeze in a visit during their happy hour?
JJ McGillicutty: I have loved Isalita for years. The margaritas are great, and the food is absolutely beyond compare. The queso fundido is a must-have (I love the chorizo version), and the taco combinations are creative and delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly, fast and funny.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Salsa Trio, Chicken Tacos, Fajitas, Nachos …More
Bethany Allen: I really enjoyed the decorations of this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food came out pretty fast from the kitchen. The only complaint I have is the uncomfortable chairs and small table size. It makes it hard to enjoy your meal sitting in a chair that feels like an adult high chair. I definitely recommend they switch the seating setting in the restaurant.
Trey Lopez: Food was good service was good my only real complaint is the high top seating wasn't very comfortableFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fajitas …More
Vikram Bala: It's really good food, that's for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed my fried chicken tacos. I will complain about the price though. $15 for three tiny tacos that I finished in two minutes??? Sure, they were delicious, but I need a little more than that.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cauliflower Tacos, Chicken Tacos, Fried Chicken Tacos …More
Joseline Leonard: Food is authentic with a modern twist. Tacos and nachos are 🏻Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Judith Block: The food was pricey for a sports bar ambience. The tortilla soup was delish but not a huge serving. The sides of black beans and rice were tasty. My wife's barbacoa tacos were 3 small tacos where the meat was dried out. Service was very friendly and we weren't rushed.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Tortilla Soup …More
Kwak Family: Lively and friendly place for fusion Mexican, or new and unique interpretations threof, food! All dishes were surprising as each of them were not one may expect from typical run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurants! The most surprising dish, for me, was the al pastor -- it was a slab of, I guess, pork and other ingredients, making it look like a piece of SPAM but with al Pastor flavor. This place is like a "tapas" restaurant, i.e., Mexican tapas, easily sharable with table mates, enabling tasting of many different dishes. That's basically what we did even with half (3) of us were vegetarians. The food was quite tasty in most cases -- Nachos, ribs, carnitas, various vegetarian dishes. The Al Pastor, a pork dish, needed lime drops to cover the underlying pork smell. Perhaps they need to add some more spices when they are creating the "slab." It could also be caused by what I suspect would be a two-step process - cook the pork, grind/mix/form the slab, and then reheat to serve. Double cooking of pork (and chicken) typically leads to such smell. The fish taco was also not so good as it was "fishy," indicating the fish may not have been as fresh as it should or could have been.I gave 5 stars even though two items had critical mistakes as the rest were very good and as all were very creative take on Mexican food! Hopefully, the two above-mentioned missteps will be fixed by the time I return.Parking: Park at the nearby library.
Mark Fertig: Great Mexican food in a funky, downtown space. Tacos, fajitas, queso and salsa were all excellent. Service was top notch also!
Viswanath Akella: Had a nice dinner here. The service was elite level and attentive. The fish tacos were really salty but all rhe other dishes were really good. The portion sizes are not a good value for the price. One can not order ala carte items either. The tortilla soup was excellent, nachos excellent, pork tacos were excellent. I’d give it five stars but it’s to expensive.

Matthew S. Foster: I seriously cannot recommend this place enough - the staff are so kind and friendly, and the food tastes so clean and delicious. A true "must" for anyone visiting Ann Arbor!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Rice and Beans, Al Pastor Taco, Street Tacos, Chips …More
C C: This place might not be much to look at, but it’s yummy. The tamales are my favorite, especially with a glass of agua de jamaica. The staff is super nice. 10/10 for sure
Ayse Bolcakan: Realy enjoyed the tacos 🌮 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tacos Barbacoa Tacos Al Pastor and Fish Tacos, Black Beans …More
Russell Stambaugh: This place is well-loved by its followers. I found my tacos to be fresh but average. The highpoint was the atmosphere. It was full of families and kids, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. This is a fast food format: great for family, not for a margarita. I though the salsas were indifferent.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jeff Human: Best tacos in Ann Arbor! I get the family meal and easily feed 6 and it's quick. One of the best restaurants in Ann Arbor.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Brian Lucier: I’m not sure how this place gets good ratings unless reviewers have never tried good Mexican before? I got three tacos. The meat was super bland, the tortilla was horrible, and the meat portion was tiny.Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere.
Darius Duckworth: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Autumn Nowland: Hands down the best Mexican food in Ann Arbor, possibly in Michigan. I'm from San Diego, CA and love authentic Mexican food. Chela's corn tortillas, salsas, carnitas, al pastor, barbacoa, and tamales are all phenomenal (and all I've tried so far). I will 100% be back here as often as possible for an incredible taste of home! 🤤 And next time, I'll take pix of my food for you all before I chow down.
Rossy G: Los tacos son mas tortilla que carne, el pescado no tiene sabor. El agua de horchata está horrible, Sabe a puro powder se horchata y del barato. El servicio esta 6/10. Lo unico bueno son los tamales, no regresaria.
Brian Sweezy M: Waaaay overpriced for what you get, and for it being a Mexican restaurant, the food had no flavor. The beans had absolutely no seasoning, and the rest of the dish had very little spices either. The service was awesome, but I'm just tired of spending so much money for very little food.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Cali Love: Great place,Even better owner loved his hospitality, food and knowledge-malcolm
Dom A: I got to say service was not good. They got our order wrong. The whole order the street corn was bland. No grill flavor or authenticity to speak of. The pineapple tamale was canned pineapple, not fresh, and was extremely soggy almost tasted like mush. At least the staff had a smile on their face, but we never got a corrected taco that we were supposed to. I will not be returning, nor will I recommend.
Michael Taillard: The only Mexican restaurant in Ann Arbor worth visiting. They don't serve alcohol, but that authentic flavor is worth it.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Darius Beckham: Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Got my food delivered over an hour and a half late, and an item was missing too. No recompense, no manager available to speak to, was hung up on by a worker, etc … never again. Stay away
Darrell Wallen: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Guacamole, Al Pastor, Side of Elotes, Chipotle Chicken, Rice and Beans, Pork Tamales, Street Tacos, Nachos, Burrito Bowl, QuesadillaMore
Michael Youngblood: Great, simple tacos at a reasonable price.Tacos: The tilapia fish tacos are to die for. Topped with red cabbage, guac, and other goodies you have to get one. Also great are the Al Pastor tacos, which pair perfectly with the verde salsa. It's been a minute since I had a different taco from Chela's because I always get the same thing, but I remember the Chipotle Chicken tacos being good but dry and needing some salsa, and the chorizo being pretty good too. Their vegetarian tacos are okay, but don't stack up to the fish taco if you're pescatarian.Guac: The guac is pretty darn good, and the appetizer option is a decent size. It does seem a little overpriced at almost $7 not including chips, but when you have it you'll understand why it's a must get.Salsas: they offer free salsas for any order, make sure to ask or write which ones you want if you order online. The verde salsa they have is delicious and strikes a great balance of spice, acid, salt, and a hint of sweetness.
Amber K: literally so DELICIOUS. service is wonderful and you can tell they really care about good food!!! please go!
Colin Gross: Carry out food was hit an miss. Generally, the food was good with a couple exceptions. The fish tacos were "fishy" and the nachos were described as "soggy".The issue we had with pickup was that the entire order wasn't present. We called them the staff answering the phone was friendly and accommodating. Dealing with the staff to resolve that problem was as pleasant.

Charles Klahm: Not kid friendly.
Barbara Tucker: Prompt service, uncomplicated menu, YUMMY! food, and, well, great atmosphere - we ate at a table on the sidewalk😀Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kelly Alexander: The food was delicious and the servers were very kind. But we are a family of 5 (two adults and 3 kids) we were told they can only seat a max of 4 people at each table. And the only way to accommodate 5 people was to split our party into 2 tables -- not ideal but we were all excited about tacos so we went with it. They sat us in side by side tables which would have been adequate considering we couldn't sit together, but the speaker for the music was blaring and placed just above our heads in between the tables. We sat outside and the sidewalk they were set up on was so uneven and the tables and chairs so lightweight and flimsy my son tipped over and fell out of his chair. Then they insisted each of our tables had to have a different server and each had to recieve a separate bill and our payments would have to be tendered separately (we didn't for this information, it was part of the debriefing as we were being sat). Annoying. But ultimately what made this just an over all terrible experience, my husband and daughter who sat at one table were served a solid 30 mins before my sons' and I were. They were done eating and the kids were all getting antsy, we finally asked for the rest of our food to go and the boys and I didn't eat until we got home. The food was delicious, but they should have been honest upfront -- they were unwilling and unable to accommodate a family of 5 and they did a fine job making us feel completely unwelcome.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. The chairs were unsafe for wiggly bodies, the server told my 9 year old that he couldn't 'just choose' what he wanted on his taco, he had to pick something from the menu -- which was hard when it wasn't very clear what kind of beef was in the tacos and he was trying to figured out which one he would like to try.
Amanda LaVictoire: Unique food that tastes as great as it looks! The tofu taco is surprisingly delicious. The margaritas are amazing! The spicy grapefruit is one of the best I've had.
Jessica Ellem: Tacos were great, drinks were also good. Loved the patio area. Service was quick. No complaints here :)
Tim Stevens: Food was good. Service was ok. Although they were busy the server didn't check in much so took awhile to get check. Also the seating arrangement for inside isn't great. It's a bit cramped. Also having to wait to go down and use the restroom wad a but awkward as you're not permitted to until someone says you can so you're expected to stand and wait to be let down bjt no one tells you that and there's no sign stating to wait for permission. Overall was a good experience but but over seated in my opinion.
A B: Great interior decor & service. A little tight in the seating, and the tacos were medium. I tried the Thai & chipotle taco. Thai was a little too soggy so the taco shell broke, but I liked the peanut sauce they used on it. The Chipotle taco tasted great; I recommend it. I would have preferred the steak in the chipotle taco to be a cut up smaller or shredded more.Overall it was a good experience. Service was fast & it was very busy.
Surendra Manjrekar: Nice place and good food. Staff also very polite.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Camaron Taco and Al Pastor Taco, Chips Guac …More
Bryan Rosello: On two different occasions my friends and I were not seated at this restaurant because the host refused to combine 2 tables, despite there being an abundance of tables. We were a group of six and and did not want to sit separately. This could have easily been resolved if the host had combined two tables. If your group of more than 4 people this is not a good place to dine in
Merrilees Craig: Mo is the best!! My favorite Ann Arbor restaurant! Gratzie
Theo Solo: Tacos beer price service environment
Jon Egan: Awesome food and margaritas 🍹 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lanika Smith: Very poor customer service . They said the wait was 20 minutes and that they would text us . We walked back and the white girl who were behind us in line were sat with their drinks . Remind you we still haven’t gotten a text. We get seated and now it has take over 30 minutes for our drinks to come out while everyone around us is getting served.
Kim Batchelor: Varried menu with lots of options for meat eaters and non meat eaters alike. Lots of FRESH flavors. Some of the best nachos I've ever had. Really reasonable prices! Also the outdoor seating was so nice. And we got called faster than expected. I really like that they have the option to have it wrapped in lettuce instead of a taco shell.Vegetarian options: Lots of fish and just veggie options. We asked for the nachos without chicken and they were able to accommodate.
Arielle 9892: I am always so impressed by Taqueria! Definitely be prepared to wait a little bit if it’s busy, but the food is definitely worth it. I usually get the shrimp tacos and they’re equally amazing every time! Last night some friends and I went and our server Grace and the other girl helping her(can’t quite recall her name) were so friendly and very attentive when it came to refills which I appreciated a lot! There was some confusion when it came to my bill and I was accidentally charged for the wrong table’s order, but this was very quickly resolved by the staff in a polite manner and Grace clarified that I’d been refunded for the other order. No issues with that going through in my bank account and despite the confusion had another great experience at TAQ. Keep doing what you’re doing! :)
Lionel Wallace: Ok I finally got a chance to try TAQ. So pulled up for late lunch. We ordered tacos and some chips with pico and chips with elote dip. The elote and Pico were very good. The tacos were big but just tasted ok. They don't have flour tortillas just corn. I am very picky about corn tortillas. I like them fried with a little oil to make them crispy. It's the way I grew eating them in saginaw area were there is huge Mexican population. So because the tortillas weren't fried they tasted dry and pasty to me. So otherwise if you like tacos than this is the place for you.
Lillian Hazel Pearce: More like 3.5? I am a seeker of tacos, a taco connoisseur. It’s my destiny to find the best taco in AA and TAQ does not have them. Everything was ok, but nothing was great and I did get a stomach ache. The best taco I had was the tofu taco, and the only one I’d get if I came back. The guacamole was ok but lacked the pizazz I like (ie chunks of tomato and onion, cilantro, etc). And I was hurt that they only have Pepsi and not Coke products. Mexican brownie was good but again, not great.Basically, there are better tacos in AA (that are cheaper, too)!
Jason Manalp: $6 for a little taco? No wonder it's always dead. Sure are proud of those tacos. Never again.
Unlocking the Truth: It is imperative that any restaurant expecting long term success clearly understands that the delivery of service with the utmost level of hospitality is mandatory. Simply put, it is nonnegotiable. Taq fails on every level with the services they provide. Carly and Jamie were unaccommodating, rude, and passive aggressive from the very start. Their actions completely ruined what was expected to be a pleasant evening out with family. Throw in some sub-par tacos with soggy shells that had clearly been resting far too long before being served and you have the full experience that is Taq. With all of the excellent restaurants in AA, why would one frequent this place for overpriced tacos and bad management.

Vyas Shenoy: Service wasn’t great. Food was good. Half of the menu items that we asked for had something missing in it or server was just not interested.
C C: Good food and good prices. They have environmentally friendly straws, if that matters to you. The tofu bowls are my favorite. 10/10 really

Nikyia Vaughn: This place has the best margaritas you will ever have. Everything was excellent from the drinks to the appetizers and the meal. Definitely recommend! 😊Vegetarian options: I had a kale and lemon bowl with onions and fajitas veggies.
Tamera Guthridge: Excellent place to enjoy some good food. Drinks are excellent (margaritas) queso Blanco was amazing and the chicken tacos are so tasty. I recommend this place. I will be back.
Smirti: Extremely small serving size for cold expensive food. Super watery salsa, with very little flavor. The meat was cold and the tortilla was soggy. The service was poor despite the restaurant being almost empty. The only redeeming thing about this restaurant was the art.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Rachael Rewitzer: Their food is amazing and their staff is so freaking nice and sweet and the atmosphere is just amazing. Their queso is so good highly recommend!!Recommended dishes Build-Your-Own Nachos, Queso Blanco, Queso Dip …More
Luke Sparkman: Brad was our waiter and he was amazing! I wanted some extra sauce on the side and I made sure that I got every single ounce. He also made us feel extremely well, and did not pressure us or make us feel like we needed to order quickly. His demeanor was very fun and he was by far the perfect waiter. Go Brad!!!!

Azzaria B: Amy was my waitress so polite and friendly, ask for her when you go!! : )
A B: Portions are somewhat small, more a drinking place rather than an eating place. The avocado in the guac was not mashed. They have plenty of outdoor seating, which is great for the summertime.

Cantina Taqueria + Bar: what do users think?
Dheeraj Mouli Pachha Chandra: Juhaku doesn’t like cantinaFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Sean Eagle: Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and yummy tacos!
larissa: asked manager very politely if it would be possible to switch seats once they became available because it was very cold where me and my friends were sitting and instead of answering, he immediately shook his head and walked away very rudely. unbelievable behavior coming from a MANAGER, incredibly inappropriate. not to mention getting on a waitlist to be seated and watching groups walk in after us and seating themselves before we could be helped.
Samina Niazi Nuzhat: We had gone last night to Cantina for karaoke night. It was a terrible experience. We got shoved by the general manager STEVE while we were just waiting to sign up for karaoke. He was being extremely rude and that’s when my friend said “that’s very rude.” He was very entitled and that simple statement hurt his teeny weeny ego and he kicked us out. The employee who asked us to leave was also extremely rude. Cantina literally has the worst employees ever!! That was my first time at cantina and probably even the last - cantina sucks, skeeps rulessss. silly little cantina with their uptight and fragile ego
Rachel Nunnold: The manager pushed my friend and told her to move. She turned to our other friend and said “that was rude”, quietly. The manager overheard and proceeded to kick her out immediately. Sir, you have a fragile ego. Also cover is way overpriced for a bar with practically no dancing.
Vaishnavi Katta: Great
Piyush Singh: Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
Soham Das: The fishbowls are really good 💯Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
sana aliminati: One of my friends had bumped into one of their employees and they had kicked her out on her birthday within one minute of being there. Even if they had perceived an issue, two out of three of the employees were aggressive and EXTREMELY rude about the whole situation. One of the employees had been calmer and more respectful. They honestly just had terrible customer service and are one of the worst clubs in Ann Arbor. Their employees are the worst and they need to consider rehiring. There are more respectful ways to deal with situations.
Jay: Some employees at this establishment need to be fired. I witnessed a rude and drunk employee verbally harass and kick out a customer during late-night dancing. This type of behavior was the worst I’ve ever seen in a bar and. Horrible bar that needs to make some changes
Joshua Weingarden: No one was there they charged 10 dollars. Scam
Matt Cauzillo: Best Dance music in Ann Arbor!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Maurielle C: Cantina is a fun place to go out and eat at. Prices are pretty cheap and the atmosphere is fun. Would recommend. Friendly staff.
Josh Gilbert: Bangin tacos, awesome bartenders and great drink specials. Definitely worth checking out. Turns into a nightclub at 10 if you're into dancing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Haha You tried: Bar and music are okay I guess, the the kicker for me was when the food I ordered here made me throw up in the bathroom toilet 2 hours later and then the bouncer threw me out even though I was stone cold sober. Wouldn’t recommend going if you don’t like risking food poisoning and then getting kicked out because of it 😭😭😭.
L. Jenkins: A++
Jonathan Thompson: On point and great portions! These guys had my order waiting for me on time and packed with everything I needed to help make my day full of trail walking easy peezy!
Julio Wagner: Fun atmosphere. Come with a large group or join one if you can.
Jared: Visited here in the evening with a group of friends. We were not shown to a table. Most of them were full and there were one or two dirty tables open. We sat down and waited to flag a server but nobody was attending to the floor. After about 10 minutes we decided to take our business elsewhereEdit for Owner response: We visited on April 19.
J. Money: The fishbowl drink is humongous lolGood music with live DJ
a new yorker: Food + drinks: 3.5Staff: 5Environment: 3Staff was super friendly with seating us and serving our orders. The interior is honestly nothing special and boring without live music which is only available after certain hours. Food was interesting but good for Ann Arbor standards (chicken tenders are the HIGHLIGHT) and drinks (fishbowl) were ok.

Tios Mexican Cafe and Tequila Bar: what do users think?
Christine Taft: Delicious drinks, queso and corn tortillas. The best tacos in Ann ArborFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fish Taco, Chips and Salsa …More
Joseph Nickell: Charged me for dinner price at lunch, server argued with me and said it was my fault. The portion wasn't even different. Couldn't get a refill on water the whole time; even though the restaurant was empty. If you do decide to order, be warned they will overuse the red sauce. My friend I dined with said the rice was bad. No chips or salsa is offered during waiting time, which was extremely long even when they were at the slowest buisness hour.
Charlotte James: Best queso and the strongest margaritas!!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Angie Clark: I have frequented this establishment since childhood when it was situated off Washtenaw. Recently, my mother was in town and craving Tios, so we revisited. The food was just as scrumptious as we remembered, with fresh and warm chips, delightful beverages, and exceptional service.
Sandra Esse: Great Chips, Queso, Salsa, Guacamole and Faijitas. Service was excellent
Gynelle Beal: Our server was attentive and awesome and the food is just as amazing as I remember it being 25 years ago when I was a kid. Can not recommend enough
Brandon Headley: Tios ownership should know that current staff are rude, immature and have no concept of customer service let alone how to make a Marquita. The worst in Ann Arbor and its no wonder the last several time I have been there it has been empty.
sujith andhe: Recommended dishes ChipsMore

Sam Koussan: I honestly didn't expect the food to be as good as it was. Reason being I have tried multiple Mexican restaurants in the area and they were not as good as the reviews said, I tried this location because it was recommended by a friend of mine. I will definitely be trying different items from their menu but should be as good as the rest.
Kyle Lunger: Soggy tacos, watered down horchata, and these atrocious "churros"
Adam Ruiz: I had four different tacos off the taco menu. My friend had the chimichanga. The food was delicious
Robin Atwood: The food was great, a bit pricey but worth every penny!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Enchiladas, Nachos Grande …More
Candice Wilson: Tios is a great place to grab some lunch tacos. Their famous #4 salsa is excellent for heat seekers, they have really good margaritas, and their al pastor is a stand out. Really lovely spot!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Chips and Salsa …More
ian hall: Parking options Paid parking lot, Paid street parkingMore
Sarah Baldwin: We get delivery regularly. There has never been an error and it's still the best Mexican in town! You know sometimes things don't travel well. On weekends, be prepared for long wait times. They always overestimate their arrival time and we appreciate it! You will not regret spending your money at Tios!!!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Deepak Krishnan: Went there on a first date in the summer of 2017. 6 years later, we’re married and just had a baby girl. The food was great!
