Kelsey M: I was not impressed with the food here. I tried the peanut noodles and it lacked flavor so I notified the waitress and got something else. I also tried the spring rolls and passion fruit mousse and did not care for either one. Their dumplings were decent but overall I‘ve had much better food in other restaurants. For some reason this place is only open 4-5 hours a day for dinner.
S L: The food was good! It wasn’t “OMG AMAZING” but it was still enjoyable. My favorite dish was the Southeast Asian Crabcakes. The flavors were meshed together perfectly. We also had the five spice duck and the Japanese style Sablefish. Those both were okay. Maybe I was expecting more of the Asian flavor profile so I found it lacking. But I do recommend giving it a try!
Danielle Foor: The food is delicious as are the drinks. We defiantly will be back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Grilled Prawns, Thai Peanut Noodles …More

Louise Zrull: Sad experience for our first experience, majority of dishes were excellent, but wait staff rude, abrupt and not at a standard I would expect for such a venue. Made overall experience not good…
Dzmitry Halouchyts: This would be the very first place that I would recommend if my friend is asking for a special place to have a delicious dinner in Ann Arbor. The atmosphere is very-very nice and pleasant and food definitely worth to come for.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Monisha Encarnacion: Been around a long time and will be around a lot longer. Quiet and very classy would recommend reservations. Perfect date night.Recommended dishes Unagi Terrine, Korean-Marinated Ribeye …More
Namitha Srinath: I took a 5pm reservation for our family of 4 , with a request for 2 high chairs. We were greeted very warmly by the host, he even had the two high chairs set up for us in a nice corner of the restaurant. Being 5 pm, we beat the restaurant week traffic. The server was amazing. Polite, quick and accommodating. The food was fantastic. We had the pork belly for appetizer. The Korean inspired rib eye with quail eggs for main course. And shared a dessert of dark chocolate mousse with passion fruit sabayon sauce. Mouthwatering! Best service ever! They have nice individual restrooms. No diaper changing station but we didn't have an issue with that.

Laura: Innovative tastes. I like the salad which mixed many kinds of food especially like the nuts and pumpkins. Quite expensive even in restaurant week.
Jonathan Amos: Cocktails: 5/5Service: 5/5Starters (crab cakes and unagi): 4/5Mains: 2/5Overall, we had a nice night due to the great service, awesome cocktails, and delicious starters. We were both very underwhelmed by our main courses though. I had the sablefish and my husband had the lamb shank. Both of the proteins were COOKED well, but the flavor profiles were extremely one note and blah. With the sweetish sauce pictured drizzled all over the fish/veggies/rice, the entire dish tasted like the same flavor profile. Both the lamb shank and the sablefish needed some acid and heat to break up the flavors. This restaurant had been hyped up a lot by friends but the main courses were somewhat of a let down.
Trooper Long: The service here was top-notch. I enjoyed my three-course meal here, part of restaurant week.
Derek Gouin: Fantastic experience once again from the amazing staff at Pacific Rim. Always a lovely time.Four different entrées, four beautiful and delicious plates, expertly prepared, served by friendly and attentive staff, all amid the bustle of restaurant week.Great night out with friends!

Mackenzie Byrne: Delicious food and cocktails! I got the seared tuna, which was wonderful and a very pretty plate. I also had the red viper drink, which was delicious. T Bard: Fabulous meal last night! It was lovely to be outside for dinner and we made it to happy hour to start then had dinner. Everything was perfect and delicious!! Can't wait to go back again!

Matthew Brest: Good but not good enough for the price. Very busy due to UM graduation. Overall good but not great. My scallops were a nice size portion and perfectly cooked, but it was obviously sitting a little too long and was not hot. Steak was fantastic with a very nice rosemary flavor in the glaze.
Jeffrey Basch: Good drinks for happy hour and food that lives up to its name. Worth the splurge for special occasions.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Todd Mueller: The food was good, however the lamb chops were the smallest portions I've ever seen. There were 4 ribs total, but the meat on each was roughly the size of a quarter.
Dimitri Roumanis: Amazing food, cocktails, and unique menu. This is a chef owned establishment and the food reflects that! One of my favorite dishes is the Shaking Beef but I just had the Wagyu Beef Cheek and it was divine. One of my favorite places in town.
M Nedloc: I really enjoyed the atmosphere, made me feel kind of fancy, with the low candle light, dimming of the room lights and mature menu. Since this was my first time, I got a couple of things as I was craving something along the lines of Asian cuisine. The prices on this menu are a tad higher here but well-deserved servings to make it up to you. The menu does change here so if you do end up loving this place, you can come back and try something new. Here, I tried one of their risottos and their grilled pork entrees. They do not currently sell this specific entrée and or starter, but often have a different spin off. Their entrée came with a hefty amount of pork, fresh rice, and a fried egg. Sounds simple but it was quite delicious. The only thing I would bring up is that the pork served was a little too sweet, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I also ordered an old fashioned and I honestly think this is my favorite place for one or maybe the bartender just has the magic touch! Be mindful of parking, it can get busy, and most parking is paid but I think it’s worth the taste and experience.

Dan Jensen: They cancelled our valentines reservation the week before Valentine’s Day. We were very excited to try this restaurant but thought it was very rude to cancel after having a reservation for 2 months. We will not go here.
Rob Crozier: This is some of the best food that I’ve had in Ann Arbor. Loved the duck with beet risotto.
Rebekah Brown: Such an amazing experience at Taste Kitchen on Valentine’s Day! The food was flavorful and the wine pairings went perfectly with each dinner. Our waiter Alex explained everything in detail which helped and made us look into trying to new wines in the future. The energy was calm and beautifully done/set up! I would definitely recommend this place for special occasions! We will be back!Vegetarian options: The menu seemed to have vegetarian, protein and pescatarian options for each course. I loved the variety and accommodation for a bigger audience of people.Parking: Parking garage right next door, take elevator or stairs down to FedEx lobby and the restaurant is on the right.Dietary restrictions: Waiter asked us if we had restrictions to better accommodate us before selecting dishes.
Ryan P: Delicious dinner spot - 10/10 would recommend!Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating!
Jen R: We ate at a new to us restaurant last night, Taste Kitchen. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere had a cool vibe, service was great, the food was excellent AND we were given fresh silverware and plates between each course! So important. We got a great wine recommendation from our server (in a section of the menu we usually don't choose from - light and delicate) but it turned out to be a wonderful pairing with the range of foods we had. We will definitely go back and I do recommend it if you're ever in the area!* Summer rolls* Mussels* Seafood bisque* Shrimp and mushroom risotto* Le Orme Italian wine
Mina A: Excellent service (Noelle was wonderful!) and incredible food. All guests loved their meal. Will absolutely be back. One of the best scallops we’ve had, salmon was cooked to perfection, seafood bisque was authentic and had very fresh ingredients, calamari was very lightly breaded with gluten free coating and incredible flavors. Coffee creme brûlée was out of this world and an amazing end to the meal. Lemongrass ginger was also delicious. Drinks were well balanced and flavorful. Just overall, 10/10. Highly recommend and would love to come again. Sorry no pics; we were enjoying the moment!
Thomas Ashley: Pleasant decor. Courteous attentive service. Exceptional food. At 6:15 blissfully quiet. By 7:15 much noisier.Recommended dishes Bouillabaisse …More
Jupiter: Absolutely blown away! Our experience was incredible, the food was delicious and brought out quickly. Charlie Polinko: Absolutely delicious food and cocktails. The vibe is fun with a high quality zest. Absolutely the best restaurant in Ann Arbor
Christine Taft: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
frank zhao: The food is overpriced. The wagyu pho is a normal pho. You can find it everywhere in the country. The wagyu did not make the pho taste better. For $40 pho, maybe you can do better. The coconut panna cotta is ok, but the red jam does not fit with the dessert.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Paul Ragatz: Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! Fine dining at it's best! Gotta try the orange cake for dessert too! So good! Highly recommended!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jason Heien: First time visiting. Made reservations, and we arrived a little early and our table was ready!Sat down , and Gabriel was our server. He was awesome with his recommendations, very attentive, but not hovering. He knew every nuance for every dish. And I mean everything. We started out with cocktails, then appetizers, which we took his recommendation for the seafood studel and the calamari, which were exactly how he had described. Calamari was ever so lightly breaded and salted to where it really accented the calamari without overloading it with breading.Next was our entrees. I go the blackened porkchop, my wife got the burger, my mom got the swordfish, and my stepdad got the sea bass. Everyone LOVED their entrees. For dessert, we chose the orange cake and the carrot cake. Gabriel even noticed in our conversation that there was a birthday, so when they brought out the orange cake it had a candle in it!In all The West End Grill is one high end, 1st class restaurant, that is on our favorites list, and must visit list for Ann Arbor
Rebecca Hogan: Really wanted to like this cozy older neighborhood spot but we did not. The food was insanely overpriced. Yes I know everything is expensive right now- but this was beyond. My scallop dish was basically only pasta, too much sauce and $50! The service was nice as was the wine but we were quite disappointed and will not be back- too many other good and great spots in the area!
Kathleen Longo: Service really good. Food mediocre for the price. There are better options in Ann Arbor but maybe not on Mondays when most restaurants are closed. Lucky for WEG….
Mona Bacall: Delicious food, drinks and service
john richter: Went there fir dinner last night,I ordered lobster tail dinner and my girlfriend got delmonico dinner,,,delmonico was either sliced or it was a strip steak,8 0z lobster tail was not presented with drawn butter or anything, and also came with a tablespoon of rice, two baby carrots and two potted peas..not enough bang for the buck, will not be returning and wouldn't recommend.
Hockey Mom 7: Loved getting the table in the front window! I’m not a seafood eater but if you like seafood, the menu is choc full of a variety from sea bass to scallops. The tomato basil soup was very good. The lobster tail is 8 ounces and left little to be desired but the swordfish was tasty. The prices are very steep so be prepared to pay $70 for the Delmonico Steak. The big negative is this woman who I believe works there (see pic below) kept walking out and smoking cigarettes in front of the window. Just not a good look for what you pay for inside. Kevin is a good waiter and he deserves 5 stars. Gordy, the general manager was very nice and is very friendly with the patrons. Not sure we will be back.
Rami Jabro: Great good great atmosphere
Parker Thomas: Great service. Asked to move tables and they were very accomodating. Scallop pasta was excellent. Lobster tail was very good....maybe a tad to much spice...but I'm used to steamed lobster.Mixed drinks were excellent.
Tario McFadden: The staff were very friendly, we sat at the bar and placed our order quickly. The restaurant was clean and we were happy with our visitFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jenn Loukotka: First the good stuff: really nice staff, pretty good drinks. My husband said that the key lime pie was good. French onion soup was great. Medium ambience. I don't normally leave reviews but the price was insanely high for how bad the food was. We went out to dinner with some friends and everyone disliked their meal. Two of us had the scallop pasta dish which was $39 and it was SO salty, and had probably two scallops in it. Cocktails are around $20 each, they were decent but definitely not worth $20. My husband had the fish which he said was not good, and came with two baby carrots next to it. There was only one vegetarian option on the menu. We spent a total of $460 between the 4 of us and left really disappointed. Hate to leave a negative review but if you're going to charge that much I would expect better quality.
Spencer Ryan: The drinks were good and the waitress friendly, but the food (Seafood, Steak, Pasta, apps) were all extremely bland and over salted. An extremely disappointing experience given the price point.
Kiyatta Lacy: I had the most Amazing Time here!! From the staff to the Regular customer!! You guys was a great end to my Birthday!! Looking forward to visiting again!! I wish I was good with names but I’m not, but the one waitress thank you so much!! You were so amazing I remember your from the Detroit area🤗🤗
Mukesh Nyati: Limited options for vegetarian folks, nevertheless, great place to enjoy food and drink!
Marsha Cole: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Rack of Lamb, Seafood StrudelMore
Deb Mark: It was good. But the scallops were a bit fishy, so if you do not like that flavor, then get delmonico steak or short ribs. Still very good experience.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Tee Coleman: Not a good experience with management. They added an extra fee to my bill, which I was not aware of as it was not listed online. The management made a statement with a rude racial under tone "You will pay this fee and will not do this like you previously do."He does not know me, and that statement was uncalled for. I will never go back to this restaurant.

Not sure when we'll be back, but GD will be on our short list of must go's. Enjoy a signature cocktail before the meal, they were delicious. I had the crab cake dinner and my family had the coconut shrimp.Restaurant smelt bad, it was old and carpet looked like it has not been replaced in years. Maddison Lanctot: Went here late night for drunk food (because the food is not good enough to eat sober- it’s mediocre at best) and we had the worst service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. They were so rude to us and we ended up getting takeout because we felt we were not at all welcomed. It was really disappointing.EDIT: went here again (not by choice) for my friends birthday and had to use the restroom and had a horrible experience in the restroom even. So dirty and gross. In the basement and was super hard to find- someone had to tell me how to get there (a customer bc the staff is useless). This might be the worst place I’ve ever dined and that is saying a lot because I am not picky
Andrii Medvediev: Are you serious? This place has a rating of 4.3 out of 5, but I would rate it a 0! It's extremely unsanitary. The person preparing food doesn't wear gloves. When I tried to take a photo of the dirty kitchen, they prohibited me from doing so. The food here is absolutely disgusting. French fries and chicken cooked in old oil. It's the worst place I've had chicken in USA. Please, do not go there.
Benjamin Meza-Wilson: If you need a place to hang out for 30-90 minutes waiting for great food this is your place. Punks and townies can be found here. The place has unique atmosphere, stickers line the inside surfaces, and the restroom is a dungeon downstairs. Cleanliness wouldn't be a five star, but that's not a review category. They have outdoor seating when it's nice out. Directly across from the Grotto on Ashley Street.
kizzy wade: This place is really dirty. The lady who wo rk there is rude. There is only one cook. The bathroom is nasty. But the food is good. I don't want to eat at a nasty restaurant again. They need to clean up that place really bad. They should shut it down.
Mark G: I was here with my young daughter and ordered chicken strips and fries for her. I ordered a medium Greek salad for myself. The bill was over $25. I asked about it because the chicken/fries on the kid menu was $7.59 and the medium Greek salad was 8.99. The waitress said she gave my daughter the regular size chicken/fries and that I should’ve told her I wanted the kid size. I didn’t know there was a regular size so when I saw it on the kid menu I just ordered it.but, fine, I’ll accept responsibility for that. But I was charged for the large Greek salad when I asked for medium. I know for sure that I asked for the medium because I wasn’t very hungry and only ordered something so my daughter wouldn’t be eating alone. I would’ve ordered a small if it was available. The medium was ridiculously small. Literally 2 olives, 2 slices of beet, 1 slice of tomato, 2 perpperocinis, lettuce, and feta cheese. And a pita bread. I won’t be going back.
Chrissy Rankin: Cute, Tiny Diner.. Good on price. OPEN 24 Hours.. Fast and Friendly.. Cute, Hippie ish Cook ....Parking: Park in the parking garage.. Or try to find Street Parking..
Andrew Yap: Greasy and satisfying
kulawik thomas: It has taken me so long to leave this review because I was so truly disgusted I couldn't bring myself to even THINK about this place after my experience. I came here for dinner with my friends and I ordered a basic reuben. I was eating and not paying too much attention until I noticed a small black hair, maybe about an inch or less. I was obviously grossed out but then I looked a bit closer and realized there were HUNDREDS (not hundreds actually but maybe like 50 hairs) of these hairs all over the plate and in my food. I was stunned, thinking how on earth could these have gotten here. It wasn't until I turned my head over to look into the kitchen and saw one of the chefs, with a black beard, scratching his beard over the food while cooking. And that is when I realized. Why didn't I say anything to the staff that night? I had already eaten like half of this sandwich. It took everything in me to not throw up right there. I was so horrified and disgusted (and almost embarrassed?) that I ran out of there and told my friends I had to leave immediately. I couldn't even tell my friends until the next day because I was so sick to my stomach. This has by far been the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant.DO NOT GO HERE IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!! If you want an a good diner go to Northside Grill.

Ricky Tomlin: Food was great. However there was a waitress who was complaining pretty bad that she wasn't getting the tips she needed. And some family felt bad and gave her a hundred dollars. And as soon as she got the money started asking her coworkers who she could pay to close for her. It was really sad to see and hear. Our waitress did her job no complaining. And after the waitress received her tip she disturbed me by getting excited and acting like she just won the lottery. And immediately trying to leave....
Megan G: Hadn't been here in years, but everything still tasted the way I remember it. Love the biscuits!!
Lucretia Muniz: I would rater the service a zero. The waitress was great. Everything else was awful. The wait even with reservations still was terrible and the hostess was terrible the worst. She was rude and yelling at customers and the manager didn't care either. I like red lobster back were I'm from . But not in this state!Food: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

Taylor Greenwell: My husband got the lobster (overcooked) and I got the crab (shell was super rubbery and couldn't hardly crack it open)We waited over 30 min for the server to bring the biscuits and we had empty drinks for 75% of the meal.. we sat at the bar and there was a red headed woman who saw we didn't have drinks both times she went to wash glasses literally right Infront of us. We were waiting to order and our server was just leaning over the bar with her phone in her notepad not paying any attention to us. Took an extremely long time to get our food/drinks/service.There was a woman that had a To go order and it was wrong, once the manager was told about it she laughed and walked away.Normally I can understand waiting if the restaurant was slammed but it was only us and 3 other tables in the restaurant.I wish it had been a better experience but unfortunately it was not.
