Janice Doyle: For years I have happily shopped at Anderson Paint because of the paint quality. Since I have discovered the Anderson Paint store on the east side of Ann Arbor (on Washtenaw), I now shop at Anderson Paint because of the customer service. While the paint quality is as good as ever, the big draw at the Washtenaw store is the team. Jen and Sarah are wonderful advisors, and are responsive to our various requests, Because of them our two commercial locations are beautifully colored in terrific Anderson paint selections.Jen and Sarah graciously carted paint out to my car throughout the pandemic, never even hinting that this was added work for them. While we stayed our distance during 2020, they still managed to advise us by phone, and the quality of the painting we have done is as good as ever. We are loyal customers to these two terrific Anderson team members.

WARNING: the store is not requiring masks on their employees unless they are within 6 feet of a customer, and even then not enforcing it. Also not asking customers to wear masks (and not all were). One staff member interacted closely with a customer with both of them unmasked. Stay away if you’re at all concerned. I won’t be back until COVID is behind us. I gave them one star - 5 stars for the paint and negative stars for a dangerous and unpleasant customer experience.

OAM: These folks really came through!!!Besides there product being of the highest quality products in the area, they went above and beyond to accommodate a fellow Ann Arborite like myself even though they did not have to.Amid COVID19, John (co-owner) and his team were providing curbside consultation and delivery. The whole process was seamless. I came a couple minutes late to get serviced, and even though they could have told me to come by the next day, they took care of me.After getting the paint I wanted, I tried to give John a tip for providing the service he did, but he kindly refused and said “don’t worry about it, it’s what we do”. That about sums up how awesome they are.I definitely recommend Anderson Paint Company to anyone in the Ann Arbor area who is looking to purchase high quality affordable paint with impeccable customer service.

The Hue Brothers Painting Company: The Hue Brother opened its service three years ago. We prefer SW because of the quality of its products. In addition, the service received, especially at the Washtenaw Ave store, is supreme. They are knowledgeable, professional, and very approachable. Brandon is a great team leader and has always helped me and guided me when I have questions or concerns. The rest of the staff is quite helpful as well. Big hurrah for Devon Dendritic, Josiah, and the rest of the crew!
Madelyn Bak: Every time I go to this Sherwin Williams store I am able to get what I am looking for. Online orders are filled quickly and the associates are all very helpful and friendly. Tress Hotzel: There was one person behind the counter when I walked in, and I was the second customer through the door. Moments later, Liam walked in and before he was even behind the counter, he greeted me and asked if I had been helped. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the full line of options, asked about the material I would be painting over (drywall or old paint?), looked at my pictures and evaluated the color I wanted to purchase to make sure I was getting what I needed. This superior customer service has certainly gained a customer for life; I’m highly impressed and looking forward to doing the other six rooms of my home with your help!
Thomas Knox: Quick service and the staff know what they are doing! Not like a hardware or bigbox store where you might get lucky or you might not. Recommended.
Dana Carelli: Service is fast, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend getting your paint from Sherwin-Willams over a big-box store. And an added bonus is the paint is extremely high quality; even if painting with a light color over a dark color, the coverage is incredible.

Colin Gregory: I have had a few issues with paint and rollers. Kyle has done a great job at understanding what the issues were and addressing them. The emerald paint line up is also great quality. Jasmil has also been helpful with other purchases too. Definitely recommend going to this store. It has recently reopened.

Dennis G: I recently had a paint match done here after having a very poor match attempted at Menard’s. Sherwin Williams produced a perfect match, I’m talking perfect. I brought in a large sample for them to match and they even asked if they could put their matched color on my sample to compare. You could not find the new paint! Very impressed with their customer service and the care they put into getting a quality match for me.

Charlott Jönsson: I ordered a paint from the Sherwin Williams store in Sterling Heights. I go there often. The colour did not look the same on my walls as it did on the sample I saw. I put samples on 3 different walls it was darker than the sample it showed on their site. I know at my SW store they would have told me No worries, let us fix it BUT I went to this store on Jackson Rd in Ann Arbor.I felt I was met by a male that had a chip on his shoulder. He said it was the colour I had chosen so either he could add more white or I had to buy a new gallon. “That’s the colour you chose so these are the options”. It was out of his hands.There is only so much white one can add to a full can of paint!!!!!Maybe his art teacher didn’t teach him that one starts with white and add small amounts of the colour one wants. To make it as light as the sample on SW site would take 1/2 gallon of white. I already mixed that at home.Such a disappointment to be a Sherwin Williams store!

When I came to get the paint he just said, here ya go, its happens and didn't give me a discount for having to drive back.This is especially ironic because when I was picking up the paint the two employees where joking around calling eachother stupid... and then stupidly gave me three different colors.

bill thomas: Used to buy paint and supplies when they were in downtown Ann Arbor, did lots of painting. Last year I went to their new store on Industrial to buy some paint for a dash panel I made for my boat, flat fiberglass 30 inches x 12 inches. They quoted me paint, reducers, thinners, etc. for over $300. I told the no, I'd just paint it with Duple-Color spray can instead and I walked out. And they were smiling and smug, almost laughing at me when I walked out. It wasn't that I couldn't afford it, just thought it was ridiculous. Will never go back.

Caroline McNutt: We walked in to the Plymouth Rd. store about 20 minutes to closing time today and were impressed by the patient and courteous assistance from Liam. He was knowledgeable about the store products, and did a great job advising us on the best paint and painting supplies for our needs. He even helped to carry the six gallons of paint out to our car. Excellent customer service - thank you, Liam!

Josh Kneale: This is a rating for the interior paint, not the storefront. Not sure if it's watered down or what but you have to expect to apply 2-3 coats. You're better off using Behr for coverage and concealment if painting over existing paint. It may be $40-$50 cheaper but you're going to need 2-3× more paint than Behr.
Alex Linville: Mark is an excellent manager and has extensive knowledge about the products he sells and about painting in general! 11 times out of 10 these guys will go above and beyond to make sure you hit your deadlines and keep your clients satisfied!
