Rachelle Burrell: Dr Fleming is a fantastic OBGYN. He is extremely patient and thorough. I wish he would never need to retire. He was my OB throughout infertility, miscarriage loss of twins, and the birth of my son. His bedside manner is impeccable. I recommend him to anyone.

Jennifer Rice: Dr Fleming has fantastic bedside manner and cares very personally about each and every patient that walks in the door. He has provided excellent care since I met him in 2003 when he announced I was pregnant with my son. Later he diagnosed uterine fibroids with kindness and compassion he explained the options. I highly recommend him and his practice.

Kirsten Pingel: Dr. Fleming has been my OB/GYN for the past 17 years, delivering two of my babies and supporting me through a miscarriage and another pregnancy. I have always been given professional, caring support from him. I unhesitatingly recommend him, providing one is aware of this fact: ArborWoman is part of Emmaus Health, which follows Catholic practices, so will not be supporting their patients in the use of birth control or abortion.

Amy HZ: Do not come here. This is a FAKE "clinic" that coerces people into dangerous situations. No medical staff works here.

Seda G: This is a place that does not support women but rather coerces them and gilts them to continue their pregnancy. While I was not set on having an abortion, I did not need to be told religious dogma when I first found out about it, I needed support and understanding. One thing prolife people will never get: a woman who does not want to carry a child will ALWAYS find a way to end her pregnancy, especially an educated one. There’s no need to project your own opinions when you’re a physician, that’s not your job.

Detroit Bootblacks Provided by the Draper Family: I needed a infant car seat and items for my baby before baby was discharged from hospital. I called Arbor Woman on a Thursday and by Monday I was able to pick up the items. Thank you so much Elise and Anna for helping my baby! With a combination of unflagging optimism and an arsenal of evidence-based statistics, she helped build my confidence throughout my second pregnancy following a traumatic first birth. When we were stuck in triage for 80% of my labor, she turned the tiny intake room into a spa with a combination of tea lights and music. Her calm, supportive presence kept me relaxed and in control throughout my labor, and ultimately resulted in a safe, unmedicated birth that I've described to others as nothing short of magical. 48 hours later, I'm walking around virtually pain free and a true believer in the power of natural birth.

David Wilson: Sierra was a fantastic doula for the birth of our daughter.  She radiated calmness and warmth throughout the birth process, and was a great comfort to us.  She provided so much support, and felt like an ultra competent family member guiding us through my wife's labor.  She even took our favorite picture after our daughter was born.  We are very grateful for Sierra's compassionate assistance, and we highly recommend her.My wife also attended several virtual prenatal yoga classes hosted by Lisa, and highly recommends her classes as well.  The support and guidance that she received was exceptional, and she is planning to continue to attend Lisa's postnatal classes.

Emily Rivkin: We chose to work with Sharon and Alyssa at Ann Arbor Birth and Family. Sharon and Alyssa were truly outstanding birth doulas. From the moment we met them they were supportive, encouraging, respectful, kind, and always available to answer questions. They provided such warmth and positivity, as well as helpful information, throughout our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Sharon and Alyssa went above and beyond every step of the way. What stands out most to us was their commitment to get to know us, our communication styles, and our approach to birth.We gave birth during COVID, and so sadly were not allowed to have them join us in the hospital. They supported us virtually throughout our labor and delivery and they were absolutely part of the team! With their guidance, we were more prepared for everything during this phase of life. We are grateful for their compassionate care. We would highly recommend Sharon and Alyssa as birth doulas.

Joanna Spencer-Segal: We couldn't have been happier with our doula experience. Kristen was so dedicated to making sure that everything in my plan was carried out. They have a wonderful system for making sure that a doula is available whenever you go in to labor. This was really important to me as it was possible that my husband would be out of town for the birth. I felt immediately supported by Kristen and Jade when we met them, and was comforted knowing that one of them would certainly be there with me. In the end, my husband made it, but Kristen integrated herself so seamlessly into the team and helped give him some rest and me the support I needed for a successful VBAC. She was truly there to support my experience and wishes - there is no judgment by these doulas or pushing of any way childbirth "should" be, just the way the mother wants it to be. I would absolutely work with them again.

Elizabeth Sammons Rodems: Sierra was our doula for the births of both our children. I highly recommended her services. She is compassionate, enpathic, and knowledgeable.

Lily Gershenson: I don't know that I can adequately emphasize how wonderful the doula services and classes offered by Ann Arbor Birth and Family are. Sierra and one of her partners, Sara Marie, were our assigned doulas for the birth of our daughter in summer 2018. They were warm, reassuring and knowledgeable for all of the interactions we had with them prior to our delivery day. I sent several questions their way in the months leading up to the birth and they replied promptly and with helpful information for me as a first-time mom. When we went into labor we received the most skilled/experienced, and emotionally attuned support from them, all the way up until we met our daughter. It was a long labor and they were there for us every step of the way. Their competence in working with medical professionals at the hospital was note-worthy. We felt like we had a team behind us while working with these two amazing doulas. If you are looking for doula services- call this company and schedule an initial appointment. You will be glad you chose Ann Arbor Birth and Family!

Sunny Lin: Wanted a natural birth, went into labor and realized just how hard a natural birth was! Jade played a critical role in helping me through the long labor process with minimal intervention, just what I needed and wanted. Elise Frankish: We hired Sierra to support our family when our daughter was born. The thing that impressed us the most was how professional she was. She was very communicative about her expectations of us and what we could expect of her during the pregnancy and birth. She was great at listening to what we were hoping for, while still presenting information to help us expand our understanding of what was possible. She supported us every step of the way, even through a long labor and into breastfeeding concerns. She made a fabulous referral to a lactation consultant when we reached a need for expertise that exceeded her doula training. We would highly recommend a doula in general for any family who is considering it, and Sierra Hildebrand is one of the best! She is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

Tara Rubinstein: Sierra was an essential part of my birth experience in 2013. Her confidence, kindness and years of wisdom helped me to feel safe and secure through pregnancy and homebirth. ajgoingwild: I went in yesterday for a surgical abortion… they were very very nice and kind to me I got to see my baby a god it broke me down but they helped me through the procedure and let me cry. Hopefully in another life I could’ve had her but it was the right decision and they helped me out so much. Every decision I made they reassured me I was in charge and that they were listening. Mothers let me cry on their shoulders are we’re just so nice.

Lina: This facility gave me the best experience ever. This was my first pregnancy and I had a surgical abortion. I was so nervous but all of the doctors made me feel so comfortable and reassured me. You could tell that they genuinely cared. They gave me blankets, heating pads, snacks and drinks. They all distributed the medicine efficiently and the abortion procedure was performed so quickly. I felt nothing, very pain free. The office is also very clean and they play nice music at nice level. I would definitely trust these people with my health again. Thank you!

J S: Be aware that when pulling in there are anti choice protestors wearing blue vests labeled volunteer to trick those coming in. There are actual very friendly staff volunteers nearby closer to the parking lot so just go past the protestors. The staff ones have "clinic" on their vests on the ones I saw were colorful not blue. Just as a heads up to anyone coming because I myself got confused and rolled my window down for them.The facility is WONDERFUL. Not only extremely friendly professional staff that start in parking lot and escort you just in case there are protestors out there assuming your visit when planned parenthood is a health center for many health reasons.Staff inside just as wonderful and friendly. Extremely clean. Wonderful waiting area. Extremely comfortable with different types of seating which started things off with a very welcoming calm vibe. Also very clean bathrooms which there are more than one which is also amazing.The entire facility and staff is beyond amazing. I highly HIGHLY recommend coming here for any of your health needs that they can help you with. Also extremely welcoming to all/very lgbtq+ friendly!I just want to give a big thanks to the entire staff there. Best medical facility I've ever encountered.

Uwu 01: I had a surgical abortion. The staff here took such good care of me, they are all kind and compassionate. I had a very rough time and they got me through it. Dr.Crissman answered all my questions and concerns and the nurses, ultrasound techs as well were all on point. The place is also really clean. I came home from there, feeling good all day. They made sure to answer any and all questions I had in a professional and non-judgmental manner. I have lots of anxiety when it comes to medical offices, yet I felt completely safe under their care. When I learned I would be there for a couple hours, I was a bit concerned, but once I was there and had a chance to learn more about the process it all made sense. I was given a payment estimate upon booking my appointment so that I knew what to expect. They talked me through everything step-by-step and left opportunities for me to ask questions, which truly calmed my nerves. The staff was very respectful of me and my privacy, and made sure I was comfortable and cared for at all times. I met multiple women during my stay and each one had wonderful personalities and friendly attitudes.My only complaints are that, firstly, I had trouble getting in contact with them after booking my appointment online, but luckily they gave me a call the day before my appointment and I was able to ask some last-minute quick questions. Lastly, my support person could not be with me outside of the waiting room due to COVID-19 restrictions. Although this would have been the icing on the cake when it came to calming my anxieties, I understood this was not at fault of the healthcare provider. And yet they made up for it anyway with their outstanding kindness and care! This facility was recommended to me by a friend and I absolutely recommend it to others as well.

Cecilia Roe: Yesterday I got my arm implant out and have never been at this location. The whole staff went above and beyond for me. They made me feel super comfortable, showered me in compliments and just overall were absolute angels. One lady held my hand and comforted me while my arm was getting sliced open. Another gave me juice and a bunch of snacks cause I was feeling nauseous. The doctor was very patient with me and told me I could take breaks in between the process if needed.I havent been to a PP since 2017 and was nervous due to past visits at different locations but I have to say this was my best experience yet! 10000/10

Sarah Fisk: I have been seeing Dr. Phang for about 4 years now. I have found her to be friendly and supportive. She is very knowledgeable and competent. I had multiple miscarriages while seeing her and felt very supported by her and that she was invested in helping me figure out the causes. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful.

Ruixue Sun: I recommend anyone to go to the Physical Therapy (Pediatric Rehabilitation) here should be careful.The reason I came here is the doctor thought my newborn daughter had a problem at her neck muscle, so they asked us to visit the office for one treatment session, which included six classes.In the first class the doctor diagnosed that my daughter didn’t have muscle problems, and we could let her do some exercises at home, just in case she didn't turn her neck properly moving forward. But somehow, the doctor let us keep coming for another two times. In that following classes, the doctor didn’t give anymore useful therapy, only let my daughter play with the common toys (like Fisher-Price) for a while. I felt I could do that "therapy" myself to my daughter at home too.The class is said to last for 60 minutes. But a newborn baby couldn’t keep awake for so long. I also need to nurse the baby during the class. So the “therapy” at most lasted for 15 minutes, which actually was unnecessary at all.For such unnecessary "therapy", I was charge more than $300 each time. The total bill is more than $1000. The first class is ok. But the following classes are really unworthy. Luckily I cancelled the rest 3 classes! I hope this office wouldn't arrange such a long session treatment for patients who are totally healthy in the future.

Ashlee Inman: I do not recommend this clinic to pregnant women, to lactating mothers, or to pediatric patients. The location of the clinic was the only reason I took my daughter here after the terrible experiences I had here as a newly pregnant woman (I was given a list of outdated non-evidence based information on how to manage my pregnancy. Never went back after first prenatal appointment) and as a newly lactating mother (the lactation consultant here did not wash her hands before touching me or my 6 week old baby, she forcefully squeezed my breast without asking my permission first or telling me what she was doing, and at the end of the appointment she told me to bottle feed my baby despite us having good latch and technique. I felt so violated and unsupported that I left in tears.). After switching to another pediatrician's office I learned that this clinic over-vaccinated my child. DO NOT trust this clinic to be up to date on anything. That was my fault- I let my guard down. I thought a doctor's office would take care of us. Obviously that was a lapse in my judgement that I will blame myself for forever. In addition to these problems, which are just a few of the problems I encountered at this office, the staff is rude- especially the short, female med tech with glasses and short hair. Got stuck with her when I took my child in for a flu shot. She barely looked at me or the baby and asked no patient identifying information before she administered the shot. I had to ask her what she was giving my baby. Afterward, she left the room so quickly that I had to find her to ask if I could have the flu shot information flier that you usually after a vaccination. Bottom line: this clinic is not a good place to go if you want quality, compassionate care for you and your child.

Nicole Lajiness: I’ve been going here for years and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I have never felt like they are rushing me out, in fact it’s been just the opposite! I have 4 kids and myself that have doctors at this location and we would highly recommend them!

The doctors were very rude and condescending in their demeanor and were not open to take questions that they thought weren't important. I believe it is their duty to take any questions that we may have and take them seriously regardless of how stupid they may or may not sound to them.

Sarah Killen: AWFUL. I am a mother of a 2 year old who just had my second child 2 days ago. I am bleeding due to constant breastfeeding and called Briarwood Center for Women to get my prescription for nipple cream that they gave me with my 2 year old refilled. I didn't need an appt - just a scrip for the same cream that helped ease the pain and suffering during breastfeeding. The doctor from 2 years ago, Dr. Fealy, flat out refused to make the 2 minute phone call to a pharmacy to help me. When I persisted and asked for another doctor (who had some compassion) to help, the Call screener, Kim, was super rude and completely unhelpful. It was like talking to a robot - no empathy or real attempt to help!! She just kept telling me I had to make an appt with another doctor to come in or call my primary care physician for the prescription. So basically, "pay for an unnecessary and expensive office visit or get lost because we won't help." Mind you, I had a c-section 3 days ago and I'm taking care of a newborn, but they won't help me feed my baby without severe pain that brings tears to my eyes every time he latches.Heartless people. Rude and uncaring. Do NOT go here if you are looking for a kind and helpful doctor and office staff.

Lauren Gallant: Never had an issue seeing my doctor for check ups and she is always able to answer my questions. Appts are flexible. Sometimes there is a student who helps out with the visit.

Karen Cant: My doctors have been great here. Always able to get same day sick appointments. Nurses quick to return phone calls and follow up as needed. Only complaint is I wish they had more comprehensive education offered to parents at well checks for developmental milestones and practical how to list of skills to work on with your kids at each step in their development in addition to safety and basic health education. I found my concerns were listened to and I am able to get the referrals I request.
