Spencer: what do users think?
Stephany F: Our first time at Spencer and really enjoy the full experience. The food was very hearthy and delicious. Very impressed with the wine selection and diversity of regions. Overall, a well rounded experience and can’t wait to try next month’s menu.Perhaps one recommendation would be to extend the dining time from 90 to 120 minutes.
Kevin Cooper: Dinner is "mediocre fancy" and not worth it at all.Their bathroom fan was also disgusting and clogged. Everything here seems pretend nice but real expensive.(Prior review from 2019: Good, basic, inexpensive weekend brunch. Nothing extraordinary, but good.)
Adrian Madland: Best food in Ann arbor right nowFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kevin James Coleman: Amazing natural wine selection and snacks! Plu a great monthly preset menu that you'll definitely want to book a reservation for. It's the best food in Ann Arbor!Vegetarian options: Preset menu almost always has a veggie main and the appetizers are using veg forward!
Robert Thompson: Wow. Great food. We'll be back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Evelyn Patrell-Fazio: Lovely staff, owners, and atmosphere. The food is really something special too
Cara Nader: Just an all around amazing dining experience. The food is next level phenomenal, the server was incredible, and very knowledgeable about the wines, and the whole vibe was perfectly relaxed. Can't wait to return.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Terence Hui: First time here! Great little spot with a great tasting menu! Excited to see what else they come up with next time the tasting menu changes!
David Finkbeiner: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Arthur Ramsay: Excellent food, drink, and service, every time.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
David Grant: Rarely do you find an excellent wine shop that turns into a first-class restaurant a few evenings a week. Spencer shines in both capacities. Truly a jewel.
David Goodman: New American food, novel flavors that are fresh from the farm. Good to amazing wine selection. Wholesome service
Christian Frasher: Waaaaay over priced, and snoody. A five ounce glass of wine was 11 minimum.Wait staff was indifferent and automatically charged 20% tip! 6 bucks to just pour the house wine.Save your money and go to Vinology or somewhere else.
Paul Hanger: great service. small bites. wonderful.
Olex Ponomarenko: Great selection of small producer wines from around the world!
Vin Guercio: Their tiny menu is thoughtfully put together and delivers from top to bottom. It’s crazy how good this place is for how small they are. Highly recommend.

Sava's: what do users think?
Rachel Cichon: Girl what is this
Jean Gosling: Wish they would add more dishes to their menu!
Colin G.: Came here on a whim, as I was traveling into town.Absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was lovely, the service staff was friendly and accommodating.I had a pork shoulder sandwich with Mac and cheese. I was amazed that the sandwich didn't drip at all! No mess! Very very tasty. The Mac and cheese was creamy and crunchy from the bread crumbs. And wasn't soggy like most restaurants. They also used big fat shells for the noodles.Superb restaurant. 15 out of 10. Will return
Ryan Thummel: All around superb food, outstanding service, and great atmosphere. Pricey, but quality and quantity live up to it.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sava's Greek Salad …More
Rhonda B: I was excited to try SAVA in Ann Arbor. I had heard such great things. I went on a Tuesday so it wasn’t too busy when I arrived for my reservation at 5:45 pm. I was greeted by friendly greeters and service was prompt and attentive.I opted for the Capellini Marlon, which sounded great. My dish came quickly which was surprising and it looked great. BUT…It smelled terrible! It had a fishy smell but also a rotten smell. I couldn’t put my finger on it until I tried the seafood, it almost took my last bite but finally I pinpointed it.I have been told not to order seafood on a Tuesday or Wednesday because fresh seafood is delivered in time for Friday’s dinner menu. Seafood too long after Friday is questionable.Such was the case here. The seafood was old. Shrimp was on the verge and hiding behind the sauce, which didn’t mask it too well. The smell died down once the fish cooled but the taste was a give away.Well I was thinking to just get the smash burger and frittes… guess I should of.Perhaps you’d want to come on a Friday for the seafood but definitely avoid on a Tuesday or Wednesday.Although service was great, my dish was disappointing.Pacific Rim was way better.
Mai Lee: Holy Mac n cheese. I went back 2x for a helping. Delightfully cute place with a good spread for our work event. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The staff could have been more attentive. No napkins! And no staff was around to put it out. Even after they were asked by multiple people we got cocktail napkins.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potate Fries …More
Chelsea Beck: Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More

Laura: One of the Best! Great taste, environment and service. Love it!
Ana Fraia: Ambience is very nice. Food menu is very limited. The starters of olives in orange were nothing in flavor. the garlic potatoes was pure salt. We tried 1 of the pastas and salad the salad I had to change it was too much pepper, they changed the salad, the salad change was good, the salad was really good but we didn’t like any of the pastas. They were dry and tasteless. The desserts and the starters were good and our waiter was very friendly and helpful.
David Sayah: What a great experience! This was my last stop on my Pulpo Group owned restaurants and yet again, only good things to say. Dixboro and Aventura were also amazing (side note). We drank the mediterranean mock mule and blueberry lavender lemonade which were sweetened and tarted to perfection. We had the hummus with fresh warm grilled pita and pickled cucumber for our starter which was very tasty. Our entrées were the black bean wrap and turkey club. My guest loved her wrap and the turkey club was good as well. We split a side of baked Mac and cheese which was honestly my favorite part except the dessert, so bomb. Our dessert was the cheesecake with brûlée sauce and berries which was MOUTHWATERING. The atmosphere inside is very modern and bright! And the service was positive and professional, we were helped by Lexi and Katie. Both were very sweet and had optimistic attitudes, suggestions, and one of which had great things to say about where she worked! Love hearing that they are good to their staff because they are absolute gems. Definitely planning on returning!Parking: Street is undergoing construction, makes it difficult to find parking.

Rosey Stuurmans: Friendly, fast server and a nice ambience! The lamb burger was great!
Kayla Peyton: Savas is great. I loved them pre remodel and I love them just as much now. Their menu offerings are unique, fresh and super delicious.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mac & Cheese …More
Emmanuelle Berdugo: Way overpriced for the quality and quantity they serve you. Waiter and vibe was nice but probably wouldn’t go back.
Kurt Black: We had a terrific graduation dinner at Sava’s. Our server, Ajja was extremely attentive as were the managers that checked in with us briefly to make sure everything was to our liking. The appetizers and main courses were delicious and perfectly prepared. An overall great experience. We will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: Nice gluten free options
Evelyn Gonzalez: The ambiance and service is awesome, but the food is underwhelming. Not many good options and very expensive for what you get.
Jose Vigil: Excellent service and food.

Peri Stone-Palmquist: Been here for brunch twice in the past few months and wow! Inventive, fun dishes. Outstanding service. Great coffee and cocktails. I will be back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alan Maynie: Celebrated our daughter's graduation here (Go Blue) in the celler room (I think that's what it was called). We really enjoyed the brunch cocktails, the food was plentiful and excellent, and the service was top notch! There were many dishes on the table, but I really liked the pork belly benedict. Needless to say, I would go again and I definitely recommend them for a group event.
Courtney V: lol don’t get the “bottomless” drinks at brunch. they’ll charge you full price and make sure they don’t come around enough to serve you enough drinks. food is good but not worth getting screwed on the check.
Jake Schraga: Greeted by the father of the owner. He is a sommelier and taught us so much about how to drink wine properly. So much fun and fantastic food. Great experience overall
Kristen Raber: The sommelier, John, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. Great wine selection.
Robert Smukler: Pretty whack service. Appetizers were great but mains were pretty poor across the board. Took forever to get food. Super nice staff but doesn’t make up for wait and food quality
Katie Grandinetti: Our dining experience with Vinology was so awesome. Our waitress was very experienced and guided us through the menu wonderfully. The chef came out to give us our food and presented it to us- with all the flavors and seasonings. We felt very taken care of and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back again!
Ashwin Vivekanandan: Great brunch and “bottomless” mimosas. French toast was amazing.
Maia Hausler: The wine is excellent, but pours are small. The food is not as good as expected and the portions were very small (and we are used to European portions.) Overall an expensive and disappointing experience. I would only come back for the wine.
Robert Haas: On Wednesday April 19, 2023, in partnership with the Canadian consulate, Vinology featured a wine/food event: "Oyster Bliss: Stro;;, Shuck, & Sip". Combining the characteristics of a walk-around wine tasting with food served buffet style, the event highlighted 7 Atlantic Canadian oysters on the half shell, along with numerous dishes mostly featuring oysters. Along with the exquisite dishes, appropriate wines and beers (many from Canada), and the overall enticing theme, the always attentive and professional staff at Vinology made this event an overwhelming success. The staff and management at Vinology are to be commended for the promotion, organization, implementation & execution that was classy, efficient, educational, delicious, and fun! Bravo!!
David Phillips (Erlynos): Say MYY BN SHETT HE'LL goodbye!Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Bridget Stafford: Dinner with friends - left a little disappointed. Restaurant was not busy but server was pretty absent, and frankly, a bit arrogant. I thought the wine was overpriced and the food was only OK. Way better choices out there for me...Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Catherine Fillmore: Swanky little joint. Great food, cocktails and wine. Dark and atmosphericFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alex Hall: One of my favorite brunch spots in Ann Arbor. Also one of the few restaurants that will take reservations for brunch. Very nice if you have a group of six or more which can make walk up a challenge. The fried chicken Benedict is delicious along with the chicken and waffles sandwich. Dinner here is also delicious with a great wine selection.Parking: No dedicated parking. You have to park on the street or a nearby garage.
Diane Bondie: Attended a function in the bubble room. Salmon was excellent! Also had the chocolate lava cake, which was good too.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chocolate Lava Cake …More
