Tajah Eddy: I absolutely love my therapist! I wish she worked for a different company because since the beginning I have had issues with billing and some other resources.When I changed insurance Sollars continued to bill my old insurance company despite filling out forms. To get any answers from billing is a game of tag, and three days they send an email which doesn’t answer the questions and instead solidified that they made huge mistakes.The two couples therapists we used were AWFUL. One was late by over 30 minutes and her suggestion was to watch Tyler perry movies to get perspective. We stopped using them in December- and 6 months later billing was trying to tell me we were still seeing this person.Do yourself a favor and go with a different company.

Tai Foster: I first started seeing Carolyn Maxwell. I didn't like that she charged my insurance for a 60 min session when her session were only 40-50 mins long for "all of her clients." After offending me for missing an appointment with her, I switched to Bianca Nelson and she is THE BEST! Her sessions are an hour long as they should be and I look forward to my weekly sessions. I do not like that there are no office supplies readily available like Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and complimentary water/tea. Bianca is amazing.

Burns Park: You can't make an appointment. They ask you to send an email and they will match you with a therapist. I received an email over a week and half after I sent the intital inquiry explaining they couldn't offer a therapist. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Ever! The worst example of how mental health facilities are failing families!

Carmen Ramos: My fiance came home a wreck after his experience here. The receptionist told him he had an in person appointment on the phone and when he showed up he was laughed at and told who he was scheduled with doesn't do in person appointments and wasn't even located in Michigan. The same receptionist does all the scheduling and intake, so if she isn't capable of listening to patients' needs then I'd seriously doubt the integrity of the therapists that employ her. Avoid at all costs!

dereck shaw: If you want to be treated with respect, do not go here. I requested in person appointments multiple times over the phone, and when I showed up for my first appointment with Adam Schulman LMSW, the receptionist who scheduled me laughed at me. She then told me he wasn't even located in Michigan and only does telehealth. It would appear they only have one receptionist so as long as she's working there i'd avoid calling this place.

Tyra High: Full disclosure, I am a former employee fired after surgery being unable to work full time.With that said I can speak to the culture that many are not aware of. Notice these reviews are by mostly white men. They are not genuine, the leadership asked business associates to leave reviews for search engine optimization.While some of the providers here administer helpful practice methodologies the practice as a whole is wrought with anxiety. The director is focused on profits and maximizing the number of clients not the quality of care. This puts most of the providers in a position of taking on many clients and seeing them without focused thorough care due to their own anxiety. If you find someone here you like, stick with them until they leave because trust me they eventually will. Although you may have a relationship with your provider the director believes you are $$ that he is entitled to from marketing so you may have to insist on keeping your therapist when they leave. The leadership here is legal but not ethical. Be well and be persistent.Also note the culture is mono- they dont explicitly shun people but are covertly ableist, racist and sexist. By pay, hire practices and nepotism across all positions. Female minority practioners were passed over for promotions because a white male "looked like he could do it" while she had the seniority professionally, academically and by practice.

Rose Moya: I tried to make an appointment for my teenage daughter and the only hours available are from 12pm - 4pm Monday - Friday(school hours). After struggling through finding a open appointment I was told I couldn't make the appointment without my insurance card (which I did not have on me at the time). Maybe this is normal and I am suppose to just be happy that I found a place that as actually taking new patients, but it is very frustrating and we will not be moving forward with Cypress. I is really difficult to find a teen counselor. Why make it even more difficult with the scheduling of the appointments? Ugh.

Karenanna Richardson: Dr. Walsh began helping me at a very low time in my life, I sincerely believe without her assistance I would not have survived. When we first met Dr. Walsh promised me that if she was unable to help me she would meet with me until I found someone who could. Fees and insurance have always been openly discussed and Dr. Walsh has both modified her fees to meet my insurance costs and assisted me with collecting from my insurance. In my experience Dr. Walsh is a capable compassionate psychologist who provides thoughtful feedback.

Steven Jacobs: Horrible experience. Do not go to this fraud!! She didn't let me know she did not accept my insurance before my visit. Then plays dumb after my first pointless visit, and goes, "oh darn, I don't accept your insurance. Well I normally charge $180, but I'll drop it down to $125." Like she is cutting me some sort of deal. Then you have to pay with cash or check. So I have to go back to her office to pay $125 for a visit where she just creepily stared at me, and didn't say more than 4 sentences. Rip off, DONT GO HERE!!!

Awe Haul: I heard therapist and counselor Margaret Walsh was the best counselor for depression, anxiety, and trauma therapy in Michigan. There were so many choices for counseling in Ann Arbor. But , her impeccable credentials as a college professor are paralleled with a human touch, sympathy and understanding. After a difficult relationship breakup, I sought relationship counseling and I found she was able to get me over the rough patch. I later found her to be excellent for teen counseling when our adolescent child needed counseling to deal with the breakup of our marriage.
