Philippa Pham Hughes: I visit Ann Arbor a few times a year and make a point to stop here each time because I always find very cute clothes. One of the best vintage clothing shops I’ve ever visited and I’ve visited a lot of them in cities around the world. Great prices, too!

Liberty E: I sold some of my vintage clothes to the assumed owner a few months ago and she was very rude during the entire experience. I came in with a smile and a readiness to meet with someone who was passionate about vintage clothes and was met with a very monotoned buyer who lowballed me on some great pieces and also acted like she overall didn't want to talk (even about the clothes I was selling). I took the money only because it took so much energy to set up the meeting. Would not recommend.

M. Harvey: This was a great vintage place. They had a lot of pieces and the quality was really good (especially for the older pieces). I was surprised by the quality of the 1950s pieces I found. I also liked that they included useful information on the tags (like measurements) and organized the pieces by decade so you can narrow down to your preferences (but of course browse other decades). Ended up getting a really beautiful 1950s dress with trim detailing. Love it.

Jane Doe: Meh customer experience, but don’t sell here…

Risi: This is a very nice little shop with a wide variety of clothing from a lot of different eras and of different styles. Mostly tops, bottoms, and dresses, but there was a decent selection of accessories as well in the back of the store. The employee working was so kind and welcoming. I didn't find anything that worked out for me this visit, but I will be sure to come back!

Merdag B: Very small store, mostly clothes with some accessories. Prices seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, not much selection in the pre-1960s category, which is what I was looking for. I saw a few 50s and 40s pieces, but otherwise everything is 60s, 70s, and 80s. Good shop, just not the right place for me :)

They are passionate about vintage fashion without being snooty about it. I love how kind, helpful and interested the employees are! Can't wait to go back and spend more money.

Beth-Ann Shanker: It's more than a store. The Owner Tanya goes above and beyond for a good experience. If you tell her you have an event, she' ll find the clothes and dress you. She caters to all sizes If any of the vintage clothes need minor tailoring or repair she takes care of it. The selection is varied and of excellent quality.

Her boutique is welcoming, safe, and eclectic. She has impeccable taste and because of that her store is filled with the most unique vintage pieces out there! Really, she has people from all over coming to buy (Chicago, New York, Ohio, etc.)When you walk in you’re first greeted by the scent of cake and sweetness. You realize that you’ve walked into a magical place and then you hear Tanya welcoming you in with a warm smile.My favorite thing about Muse is how comfortable the space is for Queer POC Trans folks. The world is hard out here for us, but to come in and play dress up means the world, especially when it leads to finding affirming clothing that leaves you thinking “I can’t leave here without it!”.Plus, Tanya is an expert at fitting, she has put me in so many dresses that make me feel like a bombshell with my body.So go to MUSE!

The space was so pretty, the employees were so nice, and Tanya is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I've ever met.She was so helpful when my MIL and I were looking at clothes and accessories. She gave us suggestions on lots of dresses (which was so helpful, especially since she has such great taste!) and when we tried on anything that wasn't quite right for us, she gave her honest opinion in a very kind way, which spoke volumes to us. She's not just a salesperson who says that everything looks good on you just so she can make money.Another great thing: I'm 5'2 and my MIL is 5'10, both of us have different body types and we don't look good in the same colors. We walked out of Muse Atelier with different clothes that were flattering and made us feel so pretty. Cat: I read some pretty awful reviews on this place, but when my husband and I went in, the people were wonderful! Very kind and helpful, nice clothes and priced better than some other thrift shops. We needed to wear masks, but so what? We came out with some great deals! Plus, this place is all volunteer and one worker told us that this year, so far, they have given back to the community $400,000.00!! What's not to love about it? Anyone who is a thrift shopper will love this store. I wish I lived closer so I could shop there more often.

Cam: This thrift store sucks. I got yelled at by the older lady that works there because I didn’t put a mask on right away. 🙄 They don’t even have a good selection of anything. Save yourself the time and gas money and go somewhere else. Please.

Taxi Cab: We picked up name brand clothes for as little as $4 a COAT. An amazing selection of books as well. We picked up a hard cover book of Shakespeare's full works for $2. Very much recommend you check it out. The ladies running the place are a delight.

Marco Lerma: I have been greatly helped for the amazing and helpful stuff members at this store for 3 years. Me and my brother visited the store this last weekend as always I had a very good experience until we went to the check out. The lady who was checking me out was grumpy and dry with me and brother we noticed a evident change in the way of addressing us. Before us there were two white customers of whom I am very happy because they were treated with grace and kindness as it should be not matter colors and races. I’m pretty sure our skin color is a clear issue for Laura. Also, since she was having issues to give us change (paying cash), we offered her the option to pay with card and she said: «I don’t really care how you’re gonna pay…» I don’t have anything else to say other than to the rest of the staff, thanks for always being so kind and friendly :)

Naiema Schimpf: Has got to be one of the most disappointing thrift stores I’ve been to in awhile. 80% of this stuff looked like things you’re senile grandma would pick up at a garage sale. I’m not looking for treasure but it was pretty sad in there. Also, printing out a picture of the resale value of an item to justify an overpriced chair or table is absurd. It’s a thrift store for a reason. Please stop doing that.

They had a lot to offer tho I found a new doormat that fit me 😁 and a couple pair of pants. My friend found a microwave that looked brand new. NK: This is one of the best and probably the most ethical thrift shop here in Ann Arbor. It's a humble store but it has a lot of treasures and things other thrift stores don't accept. The prices aren't bargains but they are usually fair. Most of the employees are very nice and helpful and it's great to say hi when I stop in. It's great to shop more affordable for me and to also support local schools in the process! ❤️🍎
