It needs a faucet to clean your feet off the sand.A particular group of visitors is really loud, rude, trash the place by leaving lots of garbage, play cacophonic music very loud, call names and insult you without reason. The rangers should do additional patrolling AND ticket them or remove the unruly visitors.Thanks to DTE and their volunteers for helping with the cleaning so we keep such a nice location clean, it was quite satisfying to see the beach with such a nice view the way Mother Nature intended.

Even got the little cousins out.State troopers are always there to help and the parks and recreation as well. Don't forget to stop at the food and ice cream trucks when you go. Patrick Brannan: Our first visit to Riverside Park was for the 2022 Tour deTroit bike ride. The recent improvements are amazing compared to old photos I have seen. The skate park and new playground equipment make this area friendly to a widely varying age group. The open spaces allow for large events and gatherings.

Hailey Dieringer: If I could rate zero stars I would. I went into lulu to exchange a pair of wunder under leggings as I had purchased the wrong size. While I was in there I had brought a pair of Align leggings that i purchased last year (July, 2020) for an employee to look at as they are pilling quite badly and are covered. The employee who was helping me was very rude. I am a healthcare worker and receive the 15% off discount the company offers. She told me she did not know why I was receiving the discount and that I am not supposed to, even though on their website it states that healthcare workers qualify for the discount. Then, she proceeded to tell me that there is nothing she can do about my leggings because they were purchased in 2019 after looking at a tag that had nothing on it. She asked for my phone number to look up my account to dee when the leggings were purchased and never looked at the purchase date. She then told me that the Align leggings material is not good quality and I should have known about the material and that I should purchase a pilling machine for $20 on amazon. Not only did I purchase these leggings during quarantine in July of 2020, she was very rude about it all. I'm not sure if she was a manager as she was not wearing any Lululemon clothing however, she was not very nice and did not handle the situation well.

We liked our room but when we took the comfortor off, we found several hairs on the sheets... ruined our first experience here ! We think the sheets weren't changed from the last guest.... also found hairs on the wash cloths! The room was so extremely noisy! You could hear the traffic from Woodward.Didn't sleep well. Beware ! !!

But the bad review is because a neighboring bar had music so loud well past 2 AM that it was literally shaking the walls of our room. We called the front desk and they told us there was really nothing they could do, but did offer to send up ear plugs. I feel like for the price we paid for our room, we should not have had to deal with this. I understand it’s not the hotels fault, but it did negatively impact our experience.

First of all the staff is amazing, thank you Mika, and Q for the warm and welcoming check-in and check-out. We felt like family. Everyone was wonderful. Our room was spotless, spacious, and just beautiful. The wedding venue was gorgeous, and the food was OUTSTANDING. Very impressed with this hotel.We live 40 minutes away and decided to get a room. So glad we did. We will be back.

Matthew Sinclair: Slipped inside the hotel when out for a brisk jaunt. The Evening Bar was closed but the hotel bar was open and quite inviting. Warm tones and soothing lighting. Bar service was excellent and I had possibly the best White Russian I’ve ever tasted.

Cynthia Oland: We had an absolutely lovely experience staying at the Shinola Hotel. The location is premium, we saw a show at The Fillmore and the walk was less than 10 minutes. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I love the ambience the room has. Hardwood floors are so soft on the feet! Front desk staff was kind, lobby is stunning, and we ordered cappuccinos and a pastry basket from in room dining in the morning. Ask for a chocolate croissant! We parked about 2 blocks away in a parking garage, and the walk was about 6 minutes from the hotel. Not too bad at all. Would love to stay here again.

Ty Jordan: It was a employee standing at the register having a conversation with a couple of her friends. You could see clearly I was interrupting her conversation so, after a couple of minutes of standing there waiting to be helped. She then decided to yell Bianca over to the register to help me. Bianca then comes to the register and retrieve my items that I purchased online. I'm a good customer 🤑and this is the second time I have went in the store and had an issue with an employee. The first time was around Christmas time. I'm in the store shopping with my daughter and mom. My daughter wanted a skirt but the only size S was on the mannequin. I asked the sales clerk for the skirt on the mannequin. As she is taking it off the mannequin she tells me a customer a day or so ago asked for a item but didn't purchase it. I told her I want it. I'm carrying on with my shopping she walking around the store and every time we cross paths she asks are you going to get the skirt? That was the third time she asked me that. So, I said yes and while you are at it do you mind taking this small mountain of clothes to the register as well. Thank you. Still shopping and annoyed. Once I'm done I get to the register to pay for my things. The girl was so worried about me purchasing the skirt that when she wrung up my things she didn't take a sensor off one of my items. I didn't find out until I got all the way home and was getting ready to wrap up the clothes for Christmas. Had to make a special trip back to the store with my receipt to have the sensor taken off.
