Downtown Detroit Bike Shop: what do users think?
Olivia Godfrey: Dropped in today for the first time after my bike was vandalized and a few parts were missing/not working. The guys were efficient, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Pricing fit my needs and the store has a great vibe.
Blake “bam” Milnes: They’re the best! Fixed our bike for $30!! Great service and location can’t ask for better price thank you!!
Amazu Johnson: Best bike shop on North America!!! They have service all bike and all ppl, the atmosphere is super chill, and range of bikes!!! Like omg I literally can’t even 💙🚴🏽💙
D. H.: This is the face of a happy Detroit bike commuter. Downtown Detroit Bike Shop, thank you for making my transition to Detroit easy peasy!Being welcomed by my bike repair shop EVERY time, has helped me feel at home.I hope you know how valuable your business is to those of us who live in Downtown Detroit.
S M: Downtown Detroit Bike Shop did a great job on my bike! They were quick and professional and didn't try to oversell or overcharge. I went in at their busiest time of year and they were still quick as can be with service. I'd definitely recommend them!
Leslie Mays: They do great work in a real nice people🙂🙂🙂
Gfu: Super reasonable prices for excellent work, got my bike souped up a couple of times there, probably gonna be rolling back in to get ready for winter. Really friendly dude, John, helped me out both times. Hit 'em up.
Redgrin Grumble: Always a great experience here. Amazing service and affordable prices. The owner and his staff are really knowledgeable and always super helpful. I can't recommend this bike shop enough to any level of cyclist.
Kimmie Moni Que Brown-Jackson: Purchase a inner tube for my bike that cost $6.99 every where else... But at the Downtown Detroit Bike Shop is cost $14.99‼️‼️🤔🤔
Ahmed Aly: Best bike service in Detroit. Very friendly and professional. They were able to assemble my bike the same day despite how busy they were that day. Definitely will come back
Bedan Khanal: Went for servicing my new bike which I tried to assemble myself. Found the person working there humble and cooperative. Had my bike serviced properly! Liked this place.
Aditya Karandikar: Super helpful and friendly. Would come back and recommend it for both bike-related retail and service!
Tony Williams: Excellent service at very affordable prices.
trifari dixon: These guys are awesome.
mvanetten007: Thanks for being open during quarantine 2020 and helping with a flat.
Morgan Cannon: John and the rest of the staff were amazing as I had no real idea of what I wanted. I was looking to get into biking as my girlfriend has just purchased a nice road bike. John pointed me in a direction and I worked through the process with him. Fair prices and great selection/customer service. This should be your go-to for your biking needs in Detroit and Ferndale.
Shamel Amin: Great bike shop. Nice collection of bikes and friendly staff. They helped me pick the right bike for my needs. And 1 year of free maintenance is amazing! After tuning up my bike it always feel like a new bike. If you're shopping for a bike, you have to check them.
Danny Lee: Friendly, neighborly, affordable, quick, knowledgeable and more. Great staff with affordable and quick service. Will definitely be back!
Tashina Gittens: Best shop in Detroit!
D L: I recently received a $ 500 Detroit gift card from my former employer and thought I would come down and check out the shop. First I shopped the website and looked at some nice products and a nice site... I want to be clear my intention is not to be rude or disrespectful because I really wanted to like the shop but when I entered the only greeting I received was from 2 super friendly dogs and a random hey from the background.... I walked around and saw a selection of random bikes 🚲 but i didn’t see anything from the website... after looking around I did see some staff in a corner box area but they seemed preoccupied and since there was no welcoming assistance I decided to just leave .... again I thought it seemed like a cool place but i haven’t owned a bike in 30 years so I felt lost not knowing what to look at ... partly my fault for not asking for help I admit but coming from the suburbs I was not familiar with this atmosphere ... Dan Gilbert generously unloaded 750,000 in gift cards on Greektown’s employees and I hope you guys can scoop up some of that business...Again just wanted to share my experience with you and best wishes....
Michael Costello: Cool shop, nice bikes. Bummer there were no price tags anywhere. I don't really think it's too fun to have to ask the cost of each bike I potentially like.

Metropolis Cycles Bike Shop: what do users think?
Ron Reed: The staff is really great, and they seem to have a real passion for bikes. They have an excellent selection of accessories, and their repair and maintenance service is very good.I plan to use these guys for a long time to come.
Dan Polovina: The Best
Steven: I owe Metropolis Cycle an apology for my last review, Detroit Moped works had lied to me and said that they sold my tires to another customer which was not the case. The owner of Metropolis Cycle personally called me and told me the real story, and now I'm going to be taking all my business to Metropolis Cycle in the futuer,I will never deal with Detroit Moped works again. I am so sorry to Metropolis Cycle.
William E. (Bill): Fair price for precision work.
manvin: Extremely polite and likable people with great knowledge and a beautiful shop. What a treat to have this business in Detroit!
Hfmd djgk: Knowledgable staff and great quality products.
Thomas Carter: Stopped by just to check it out, supper cool shop great service would recommend.
Carmie Cuda: Super friendly, knowledgeable and affordable service! Very good vibes
Jason Daker: Great shop. Good people. Shayne was a dope salesman and very accommodating. He picked the perfect bike for me on the first try.
Abi Devins: I am a beginner road biker and every time I go metropolis, the staff are very informative, friendly, and patient. They are quick to offer advice and tips to help you out with whatever you were needing related to bike questions or issues. not only do they know seemingly everything about bikes but you can tell they care a lot about the detroit community.
Carl Thomas Gladstone: Only place I refer people to. Great advice, service and inventory!
Fred Zajdel: Very helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming service!Fred Z.
Doris Koko: No idea how to contact.Phone number doesn’t work. No help or email listed.Unsure if Electric bikes is something that could be worked on here and no way to call and find out.Number is out of service.
Zach Wilde: So impressed with the knowledge and love of bikes here. Very down to earth and welcoming.Brought my old Mtn bike in that has a bad suspension fork. No one has the part I need, but they knew exactly what I needed and happily shared their, very hard to find, expertise so that I can get it fixed the right way, the first time.
Kameron Stephens: Metropolis Bike shop hosts some awesome people who got me two wheels for the road. The whole sale started when I called in to check if Metropolis had the bike I was looking for in stock, and when they confirmed it I was directly to their easy online shop to pay. They were courteous enough to hold my bike at the shop for a few weeks so I could drive up and retrieve it.When I came to the store I was given a friendly greeting and they immediately got my new ride. They had me roll around on the neighborhood street to test it and adjusted the seat accordingly. Per my request they showed me how to lube the chain, remove the front wheel, and some basic maintenance and safety. I noticed they even kindly put on some pedals before I came in (the bike did not come with them). At the end they even offered to help me put my bike in the trunk.Buttery smooth transactions and knowledgeable smiles dominate this bike shop. Thanks for the help bringing me to the Surly family, gentlemen!
Fresh Killer: I thought service like this was something I would never find in Detroit or metro Detroit. Spent $150 to get my bike repaired and it came back in perfect condition, it got me excited to get back to racing again.
Jerri Robinson: I needed my Therapeutic ball inflated today, i called Moosejaw on Woodard in Midtown, right around the corner, but the guy who answered said they didn't have anything to inflate my ball. Called Metropolis Cycle bike shop, talked with Ted he said i won't charge you to inflate it. Wow! That's what i call having fellow filling for people. Haven't the Pandemic done enough to mankind? They're still good people out there after All!😊 Thanks to Aaron his workmate, very nice people.
Ali Zerj: Honestly this is the only shop I’d trust my bike with. Very nice customer service, professional, fast, and reasonable prices. Definitely go there 💯
Bryan Seef: I've been shopping here and servicing my fleet here for years, with good reason! The crew at Metropolis is knowledgeable about all things bike and bike culture in Detroit, and they're happy to share what they know. With reasonable prices, a convenient location, and all-around good vibes, heading to Metropolis is a no-brainer if you want quality bike service/repair or want something cool for your bike. Metropolis rocks!
Brielle Darynn: Go here! This shop has earned their rating.Came to MI with my old MTB in a box. Heard great things about Metropolis, so got in the car and drove 30 min.Customer service exceeded my expectations. The work met my meticulous/obsessive standards. They are honest.I asked a LOT of questions, which were all answered kindly. I checked with an out-of-state pro mechanic, and Ted's suggestions and recommendations were spot on.I had them fully tune up an older Specialized Stumpjumper HT, convert to tubeless tires, and switched brake controls (to moto-style).The bike is now probably a bit better than new (when new spokes were a little loose, suspension wasn't set up, brakes squeaked, etc). They could have taken advantage of me and sold a bunch of stuff I didn't need: new tires, etc. They said they checked and I didn't need things.I am so happy! I found my MI bike shop. (Sorry again for all the questions)
Donni Metropolis: Bottom line the place to go....

Detroit Bikes: what do users think?
Ghana Jones: The best bike that I ever had I purchase here at Detroit Bikes hands down
cellblockearth: I picked up an E-Sparrow electric bike from them recently. $1100 is actually reasonable considering similar bikes start at $1500. Great bike. 1 gear so less stuff to go wrong. Peddle assist is really cool plus there’s a throttle switch to get you up to full speed. It’s a little bumpy because there is no front shock but who cares? They had 5 in stock but they can order you the style you want. Cool accessories. Cool location. Cool Detroit local business. They can work on them on site & everything is assembled in Detroit. Get one in black! It’s what Bruce Wayne would do!
Alex Lowe: Very helpful and friendly! Decently priced bikes too.
Tom McGinn: I ordered a Chromally Cortello 15 weeks ago, June 8th. I see people who ordered their bikes after mine and they got their bike. I received a grand total of 2 e-mails from the company, one after 6 weeks, another 6 weeks ago. I understand there is a pandemic, but this is ridiculous. I called customer service to cancel and with no apology or even a comment about how long it has been, they just cancelled the order. I will purchase and American made bike next season, but not from Detroit Bicycles. Very disappointed.
Lucas Jewell: I walked in to Detroit bikes and was immediately greeted by Naheem who was already with another customer. I'm a tall guy and Naheem explained why I should get an extra large bike he said "it'll change your life!" Its been about 2 weeks and I have to admit. He was right. Great service! Great bikes!
Joshua Ditton: Took my neglected Detroit Bike to a different shop and they wanted an outrageous amount of money for repairs so brought it here and they got it road-worthy again for a fraction of the original estimate at another place. Scott (I believe that was his name) was phenomenal! I brought my bike in on a Friday and picked it up the next Wednesday so I was super pleased with the speed of the repair as well.
Kimberly Walls: Amazing service and reasonable prices!
Eric Odom: Love the ride. Thank you Detroit Bikes.Super clean and light. Rides great.
Summer Morrisson: My brother was in town and wanted to check out Detroit Bikes. My bikes are both over 60 years old, so these new, light and fast conveyances were a real treat! The shop is in a convenient location downtown, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the bikes are beautiful and fun to ride! Stop in to check it out, you might end up pedaling out
Isaac Dial: I stubbled across this fine establishment and enjoyed the shopping experience. If you are interested in a high quality cycle, this your place in Detroit!
Joshua Fischer: This shop is flippin' fantastic! Brought my Diamondback in because, I thrashed it, and it had this obnoxious clicking noise on the left pedal and a whole bunch of other problems. These guys fixed it for ONE THIRD the price I paid in my own neck of the woods (Grosse Pointe). It rides like new. Cannot be more happy with a shop.#customerforlife
Kent Butler: Stopped in for a bike repair and the staff was great! I wasn't riding one of their bikes, I was getting ready for slow roll on a bike with smaller rim on it and they were able to get me hooked up without an issue. I was in and out of the shop in no time! Their bikes are awesome! Their frames are made here in Detroit, so if you want to support local, one of the best places around.
BIGDADDY65 .BIGDADDY65: We love our Detroit bikes bicycles. We have two dogs that travel with us in our baskets. The bikes were easy to assemble.
ruth armstrong: I just ordered a bike for myself and my fiance. I am super indecisive and honestly, this is my 1st new bike ever and I haven't ridden in years. I had so many questions. Amanda was not only informative and patient, but super fun to work with over the phone. She helped me decide on a bike I'm beyond giddy for, even more than I thought I would be!!! In less than 24 hrs Zach, Amanda, and Brandon all helped me and were all excellent. As a retail and brand manager of years, this staff are the kind of people any company would be lucky and proud to have. It's apparent there is a lot of passion and it shows. I can't wait to show off my bike soon!!! Thank you!!!
Zayd A.: Ordered the Type-A and it came with brakes that were too tight and kept messing up changing into and out of 1st gear. Took it to the shop and the guy tried fixing it and helped with the brake issue but couldn't with the gear issue. With no hesitation he helped me exchange it with a floor model and honestly was such a nice dude and never once try to shift blame on me for the faulty product. Tried the new one and it works perfectly. Was so ready to right this place off as an over hyped boutique brand but the service was awesome and the bike is such a great looking one at that! 5/5 happy I gave them my money.
ayden: Great store and great products
Lisa Mac: Absolutely fabulous service top of the line quality bikes 10 out of 10 Stars
L My: 100% customer service oriented great company and I am blessed to own a Detroit bike
Adrienne Bommarito-Clark: I want one!
Chris: Was there over the weekend with my wife and fell in love with their bikes. Very nice guys who spent a ton of time showing us everything on the different models. After a test ride we ended up with an A and B type-fabulously riding bikes manufactured and assembled right here in my home.
Sloane L: Purchased a bike today and I don’t think I could be any happier with the experience! Awesome quality and customer service!

Bike Tech, Inc.: what do users think?
Tim Berkesch: Great customer service; quick and good quality repairs!
Curtis Palmer: The owner there was very knowledgeable and helpful and has a verity of old and new bikes for sale, i would recommend a visit there for your needs of parts or service or purchase.
Edwin Paul: Brian is a great guy. He has been very helpful.
Run Jewels: he kindly sold me a 125 dollar bike that rides but the breaks failed within 3 miles (not my fault) I called and he's taking care of me! Now i took a spin and had my first fall (scrape into a wood fence lightly didnt fall just scraped the back tire a bit.no damage anywhere but the chain is off and i am not sure why. Its not like i sent it and biffed it. lol If he says he well get the chain and i feel safe (hes not making a lot on this so i appreciate it) So long as my bike is safe Tuesday when i bring it in I'm happy
VAM vids: The owner is very knowledgeable, they have great mechanic skills and fair pricing.
Therese Nolan: Knowledgeable, friendly staff. New and used bikes. Service for bikes.
E Ash: They are very efficient, and they fixed my bike which I thought was unfixable....
Melissa Treusch: Great service and good prices for a bike tune-up. Very knowledgeable.
Cook M: Great Place! 😊 Brian, the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is an expert in his craft of building and repairing bikes! 😊😊
Kathy Martin: Brian was very knowledgeable and professional and the price to repair my Snowblower was reasonable.
ShAron Robinson: The Bike tech was courteous and polite. I've been coming to this location for years and have never had a bad experience here.
Doug Drawbaugh: Bought a "project" 1938 Schwinn Excelsior. It was challenging to find parts, knowledge, and skill set under one roof. Picked up the bike yesterday and it rolls like it did in 1938! ;) Thank you Bike-Tech for working with me to get the bike reliably street ready. The bike will easily make it to it's 100th anniversary in 2038... hope I can still pedal it then! Regardless, I'll remember the experience and education on old bikes I received from Brian during the process. Thank you Bike-Tech.
Marcia Spivey: The owner price gauges— I’ve been going to this bike shop since 1996..for the past 10years I just stayed b/c I am a Detroit loyalist however april 7, 2021 was the breaking point. I WAS QUOTED BY THE OWNER $100 for a bike tune up(starting at this amount). The same bike that I’ve been taking to him for the past 3years. He is overpriced and has no respect for loyalty. I was also told the return time would be 7-10days and that I should be lucky that I’m getting my bike in when I am.He believes that he is the only person in the area who can do the job so he charges based on demand. Well this isn’t true! There is an awesome bike shop on Gratiot ALLIED CYCLE SHOP. They were helpful and didn’t treat me as if They were doing me a favor. The tune up starts at $49.99 and the turn around is 2-3 days.Stay away from Bike Tech if you value your hard earned money and customer service! This guy should be ashamed of himself for price gauging..I purchased a bike basket from him last year for $40 — the same basket was at Allied bike shop for $23.99.I WILL NOT TAKE MY MONEY HERE EVER AGAIN AND ADVISE SAME.
Julieann Elliott: Amazing service & they always have the parts for my bikes. The price is more than fair. I absolutely love it there!
Joel Atallah: Fast repair and a more than fair price. Can't recommend enough
Erika Quinn: Owner has ZERO customer service skills. I always try and shop our local small businesses, don't waste your time. Apparently he doesn't need the business.
cdot earl: Kinda pricey for a flat but there pretty cool didnt get any bads vibes just good service id use them again
cordell hitchcock: BEWARE!!!! They are price gougers! Unfair with there pricing tried to charge me a car note! All i wanted was a tune up for my bike they told me $240 i went to another shop and got charged $85 i had a feeling he was trying to cheat me when we were talking asking me is $240 ok!!!!
Pharrin Cummings: Love Bike Tech,Ink. Been going there forever!
Jaclyn Standfest: Stopped in because my bike would make a clunk noise and wasn't shifting well. They fixed it within 15 minutes and it rides perfectly now! Polite people, very nice, extremely knowledgeable. I'll definitely be coming back for any future bike needs.
Victor Young: Great place. The owner has years of experience, and knowledge about Bikes.

Wheelhouse Detroit: what do users think?
Kristin Kamin: Love the wheel house. Great owners & friendly staff.
John Shaffer: Fantastic place to rent a bike, pick up accessories, or have any service work done on your bike. Staff is very helpful and friendly
Claudia Richardson: Excellent customer service. Very friendly. Quick!
keith wisdom: Purchased bike seat lock. 2 reps did a excellent job. With multiple adjustments very happy with service
Amelia Ritter: Recently did the architecture tour with Chris and it was great! Even on a gloomy Sunday afternoon, we enjoyed the tour and the time flew by. We got about 9 miles in on our 3 hour tour and could’ve gone longer. Chris was knowledgeable and kept it fun and exciting, and Tara ensured we were safe in the road and no one was getting left behind at any lights. They do a great job!
Christine Young: Took one of the bike tours with Chris and Blake. It was the architectural tour and it was fantastic! Chris was extremely knowledgeable and fun and Blake was very supportive!
Laurie McLachlan: I've lived downtown for several years and never noticed this shop. While there are MoGo racks of rental bikes around the city, I find them incredibly heavy and uncomfortable to ride. This shop rents bikes right along the riverwalk near the Merry-Go-Round.I went there to buy a bike today. They did not have a big selection, but it only takes one right? I love my new cruiser, and they were kind enough to assemble it within 2 hours. This is a local shop with kind people. I highly recommend it!
Rick Robinson: Wife and I went there today (July 2nd) for a bike tour, we had a blast. Great tour guide, fun and informative, the owner went on tour with us and she was super nice too.Great vibes and great time. Definitely worth it.
Jeff Duperon: I had booked 2 days before the tour and then found I had to cancel due to the chaos in the airline industry causing my flight to be significantly delayed. I let them know as soon as I knew (the night before). They would not even entertain transferring my payment to a future tour giving a pat BS answer of having to pre-arrange the guide for the tour that already had 8 participants and was not likely to sell out because I booked the tour 2 days before the tour. They got this money, but will never get another dollar from me.
Chris Wagel: Just got my bike serviced. Quick, efficient and reasonable. Great staff and they do rental bikes also
Lando Stylwalker: Great atmosphere, and staff!!!
Kelsey Vaughn Thomas: These guys are very cool. They fixed me up in the winter months so I can keep rollin'.Thanks to you Rob and Tatiana. See you when you open for the season. Will stop by to say hey.
Mark M-R: Incorrectly assessed a problem and sold me a bunch of merchandise that didn't help in the process. In response to owner comment below: The Wheelhouse was given ample opportunities to fix the problem and when I initially brought up the issues, I was actually told that I had never purchased items from the shop until I provided multiple credit card receipts demonstrating proof that I had.
Greg Moots: The tour that they offer on automotive heritage lead by Mike Darga was excellent. The bike shop staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and found a specialized part that allows us to mount a bike rack where we didn't think we could.
Jacob Saylor: Friendly staff that went the extra mile for our group without us asking. Had a blast on their well maintained bikes and would definitely do again.
Erika Mathis: A woman who works there fixed my seat good job!
Megan Faircloth: Amazing customer service! A nail popped my tire going across the bridge to Belle Isle. I took my bike to Wheelhouse and they changed my tube on the spot, showed me how to do it and it was only $12.
Audra Faiola: We took our bikes to Wheelhouse Detroit to be serviced and had an amazing experience. They were very professional, on time and our bikes feel brand new. Thank you!!
G Brown: Had repair last year service was excellent
Sasha: Staff was very friendly! I purchased a used bike that was in great shape! I recommend this place!
Lily C.: I was here for the first time last summer. Don't remember any names, but everyone was very helpful. The girl helping me stopped at nothing to find the best bike for my height (I'm short), as well as switching out the bike seat to three different ones so that I could get the perfect fit. She did all of this unprompted. I've recommended Wheelhouse to several of my friends for when they're down in the area.

Downtown Ferndale Bike Shop: what do users think?
Tess B: Good prices and down to earth staff. Rich, Doug, and Nick all worked hard to get my husband's fixed gear bike back into riding shape and helped me with picking out a new, more rideable, lighter weight bike for myself. When I wondered aloud what to do with my old beloved bike (a step through 3 speed Raleigh from the 70s) Rich said he could fix it up and get it to someone dealing with homelessness. What a way to give back and support the community in which we live!I googled the new bike before I bought it- there was no markup on the cost, and it had great reviews. They let me test ride it and got it all set up for me too before I took it home. Plus, it comes with a year of tuneups at no cost. A+ for sure.
Samantha Everett: Excellent and quick work getting a new tube on my ride.
AA COLLISION: Very reasonable charges and super fast service, very recommended.
Rochelle Bono: I got my bicycle from this shop in 2019. They've been helpful and up front about details involving repairs & parts. They have done repairs when other shops could not or would not. Most recently, Doug got the job done within a week even though he was swamped & had to order parts. This shop is in the heart of a bicycle inclusive community so they are always busy. It's a tiny place & doesn't have separate rooms for repairs and retail. The guys are pretty nice but they are also very busy so they do not teach repairs as they don't have the time nor space. The reason I gave only 4 stars is because it's a super cramped area and every time I walk in I feel like there's going to be a domino effect of bicycles falling over. But overall I've had positive experiences there.
Zvoch: Brought in 70s schwinn with some issues with the gear system. They were able to fix my problem in about 10 minutes at a very fair price. Definitely will be back for any repairs/maintenance
Joey D: I stopped in to have the guys look at my tire because it was out of alignment..they fixed it and put air in the tire and they didn't charge me..then one of the guys pointed out that I would need a new tire..I love the vibe at the bike shop..I will definitely be going back
Evan P: Cool shop, got the components swapped out from one track frame to another here. They did a great job, were fast and reasonably priced, and we chatted a little, and they helped me make sure the fit was good on the fork and seat post before leaving without any extra charge. Not a "pro" bike fit but great service! And I don't know what's up with the other reviews hating on the dogs. I liked the dogs, they're very friendly and well behaved! They don't jump on you or anything.
Michael Keller: Great place with great and very friendly mechanics.
C B: Terrible customer service. Greeted by guy as we came in the shop (that had an OPEN sign on it) an hour before closing with “Hey, I’m closed, I gotta leave”. We asked if we could leave our bikes? Bc I’d called to make sure they were open and now, um, they’re “not”? “No, I really don’t have room, and I don’t have time, I gotta leave”. Went to American Cycle & spent my $100 there. Just rude.
Jessica: They were very helpful when we brought our teen here to pick out a bike for their birthday
Rosel Eissing: Great shop! Travelling across the country I had problems with my back wheel. These guys helped me out on the spot. Absolutely recommend this shop.
Vanessa Smith: My son needed a new bottom bracket for his track bike. I'm telling you, they have great service. Luke took the bike to the shop from the velodrome and fixed it right away. I took my kid to the shop to pick up the bike, and they are always so awesome with my kid. Jon, the owner, was very busy, but still took time to talk to my kid. Very reasonably priced as well! You know they are good guys when people are constantly coming in to say hi. One added bonus, Jon had his two dogs in the shop, and we loved getting to pet and play with them!
Jozzi Billingslea: Guys are quick and efficient! Thanks for your help.
marco antonio: Not great. Some friendly and knowledgeable guys in there but not all of them. Pretty dismissive and kept trying to get me to check out when I still had questions and needed a few more things. Spent $100 only to be told to buy a new bike. Will be going elsewhere.
Archie Jackson: Quick through affordable and professional service they have a life long customer. Also the dogs are cool as hell
Varry Doyle: Sales personnel friendly and knowledgeable
Rodney Gates: Great for walking. Driving is slow. Find a place to park in one of the lots. Plenty of places to eat or drink. A cool record shop, hair places, and more.
Kate: A great experience all around! Had a vintage bike in need of a major tune up. Took it to a shop in Detroit who ghosted me for 3 months only to say it wasn't fixable. A friend referred me to the Downtown Ferndale Bike Shop and they got me fixed up and riding the SAME day! Price was well below what I expected too. John, Doug, and Eric gave the best customer service - didn't upsell me or make me feel dumb for not being an avid rider. Plus the shop dogs were super sweet and friendly! Will 100% be back!
J A: I'm not convinced this is a real bike shop. Some trust fund'er gifted this to their kid so they'd have a fake day job to do.Every one i've talked to has the same reaction: they treat customers like an inconvenience. Usually jerking around in the back with their friends.I live across the street but would rather go to center line instead even just for tubes.
Leib Gershon Mitchell: These guys are GOOD.On the spot repair. In and out in 10 minutes.Picked the phone right up without needing to transfer through 50 extensions. (The reason I did not buy from D&D bicycles is because I gave up trying to get through their phone extensions.)Friendly conversation.I recommend them and I'll certainly be back
Tiffany Fischer: I had a bike repair (Huffy Cruiser) and these guys had great customer service! I thought about them when my son had a scooter issue and although they don’t repair scooters they offered to take a look. We discovered it was just a screw they needed to be tighten. He made sure it was safe for my son and sent us on our way ☺️Recommend these guys definitely!

Michael Cade: Supposed to open at 12 noon, not open. Came back several times during the day, Thursday, no one there. Is this place still opened???
Refreshing Health Cleaning Solutions: Super Nice Staff. All I needed was a squirt of air in my tires. They were happy to do it. Thanks guys.
42Enjoy TheBeach: Awful and expensive service all 3 of our bikes are still broken. The used bikes we bought were repaired by 2 girls who didn't do a good job
Alex Snyder: They didn't true my back wheel correctly, so it got even more messed up. Then when I brought it back, they said they didn't have time to fix it. Their new hours don't work with my schedule at all. Guess it's time to go find a new bike shop.
Jesse Bailey: The hub is a bike shop, the staff gave fast service. Prices are not rip-off. 🏹
Icey Anderson: Nice and informative bike techs.
Kenyetta Mcdaniel: I love this place. Good sevice and affordable prices
Dubbydubbdubb Y: Amazing services and was greeted by courteous professional women. I highly recommend this spot one of the only spots that's open when all the other ones are closed
Joanne Kampf: They took care of my bike repair promptly and at a fair price.
Luther Moore: Excellent service fare price
Kevin Waskelis: Great service. They really know their stuff and are awesome at repairs.
Jelani Jabari: Needed rear derailleur fixed on son's bike. Fixed that, completed minor break repair for no extra charge. Highly recommend this place.
Benjamin Astro: My first experience with the Hub was gold. Haven’t ridden in many years due to a past bike accident. I know nothing about bikes and needed some help making a decision. Jeff guided me through everything, and I was genuinely impressed with how friendly, and sincere he was. This guy clearly cares. Customer service like this is rare! Thank you, Jeff!! I’ll be back soon!
Taylor DeAndra: Very affordable bike repairs & Great service!!!
AA AA: BEEN GOING THERE SINCE 02PICK UP 6 BIKES FROM THERESINCE 02 LOVE U KEEP UP THE HOOD WORK
William Winkel: Excellent work and great bikes.
Dana S: They have been fixing my bikes for years. Very affordable. Recently helped me restore my clunker. I like that they often have used parts to help you keep your price low. As long as I'm in Detroit they'll have my business!
Clarissa Cunningham: They fix my bike for free and I donated my brand new seat and bought a bigger one.
Jacqueline Beavers: Called me yesterday to say my bike was ready. I confirmed they would be open until 6 today. Drove all the way out here to pick it up. Its 4:56 pm. They closed over an hour early without notice. Will check the quality of the tune up and leave another review. Really pissed!!!
Alessia Valotta: Great people, great service! The prices are really ok and the people working there are really kind and ready to help their customers as best as they can. There's no other place where I would get my bike fixed.
Tim B: Bought a tube the other day and thought i was custom enough to put it on myself, unfortunately i was not. Went back up to the hub and they suggested wetting the tube and tire down and showed me the correct way for installing a new tube and getting an even tire, quick and professional, thanks!
