shanice reid: I have been buying cars from here for about two years. They are awesome. They sell used cars so expect a little wear and tear. So far I have gotten three vehicles from here. Always a pleasant experience. If I ever have an issue with my vehicle they always look out. This place will definitely look out for you. Prices are great to and buy here pay here as well. I won't go anywhere else for a vehicle.

Lemon that I have to replace and a complete waste of my 10,000. It was nice to have the buy here pay here option to avoid a car note but the car was a lemon so ultimately it was not a benefit to me at all. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to waste their time or hard earned money. I did good business put 6,000 down and paid my balance they did not want to help me saying the car is as is.And this is an update to the unprofessional response from Basset. The car immediately started over heating after I made my last payment so you guys referred me to your mechanic and I took it to the dealer once he said the engine needs to be replaced. Bottom line I spent 10,000 on a car that need an engine waste of my time and money. I wouldn’t refer anyone to this business simply read the malicious unprofessional responses to the reviews. That speaks volumes.

It cigarettes on the floor, I forgot to get the pic of it. They didnt care to clean.. it was also advertised at 140k miles and it had 150k.. I wanted to test drive I would've bought it on the spot but I HAD to leave a deposit... bad business. The check engine light was on and she claimed it was the sensor. They kept asking me how much $$ before I could even get the feel for the car, ask questions etc. They are not a caring business they just want your money and are going to sell you a LEMON. Money was never the issue but I went out my way tf!!

Rebecca Sankarathil: This company should be audited for their sales and vehicles. The salesperson said they would fix the car for free during purchase; since there was a loud noise when accelerating. I asked multiple times to get this in writing. He refused. I took it down three times and the man tried to say he didn’t recognize me. They sold me a car that had amazon parts. When repairing the car it was very obvious that it was hit on the right side and mediocre repairs were done to fix it. I have barely owned this car for 7 months and there have been more repairs then what the car even worth. The fact that they did this to someone who is a daughter and a sister is disgusting. I work two full-time jobs and I am trying to finish school. All this was explained in the time of looking for a car. This company does not deserve to flourish. Terrible people; terrible company. They don’t even deserve the one star. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM.

Deborah Keller: In October, 2022, my husband and I were in a search for a vehicle to replace one that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian and saw a reasonably priced used Ford Escape available at Sky Auto. It was a 2017 and only had 37,000 miles on it. We had some conversation with Joe about the car, and he was very helpful. The vehicle had a salvage title, which Joe assured us was simply because the car had been stolen and recovered. He had the car examined by his mechanic, and assured us it was mechanically sound. He even sent us the report from the mechanic, and took photos of the engine and all around the car. We were pretty impressed by his thoroughness. If only it had been true! We ended up driving into Detroit and purchased the car. We drove it back to the west side, and then to Florida. We had no problems on the trip, but soon after, the car died while I was driving on I 75. Just died. Because of the hurricane, no one in Fort Myers could even look at the car for a couple of months. I spoke to Joe about it (this was during the 30 day “guarantee” period.) We had to tow it about an hour north to a Ford dealership. Joe wanted me to go to some mom and pop shop to make the repairs cheaper, but we chose not to because 1. The only one we knew of was inundated with work, like they were around here, and when we explained the problem, they thought we needed a transmission shop, who also couldn’t look at it for a couple of months, and 2. We wanted genuine Ford parts, since we were not really familiar with the car and wanted to make sure it was repaired properly, with warrantees. Joe did not pay for the repairs (which he really should have, since it was within the 30 days), but he did pay about half. We didn’t push him on the other half. So, soon after that, I went back to Michigan until after the holidays and the car was not driven during that period. It had been making a noise prior to me leaving, but I didn’t pursue it until we came back down. My husband, upon hearing the noise, took it immediately back to the Ford dealership, and we discovered that the back brakes and rotors were bad (pitted and rusted), the differential was bad, and a few other things that ended up costing us over $5000. We had the car repaired, and then I sent Joe an email outlining our disappointment with the car. Joe wrote back with a long list of excuses, said again we could have saved money by not going to the dealership, and wanted to talk to me (I told him I was going to leave this review). I did not talk with him, but we exchanged a few more emails, the last of which he suggested that perhaps he could do something to help. My response was that the car had been repaired, so there was nothing he could do unless he wanted to help out financially. Needless to say, I never heard from him again. So the bottom line, as I told him, is that we bought a 2017 car with 37,000 miles on it, that we were assured had been inspected by a certified mechanic and was mechanically sound, and 2500 miles later, we had paid over $6000 for repairs (problems that should have been identified by a certified mechanic). (That amount does not include nearly $800 in tows because of the breakdown). We feel cheated and misled by Joe. The car was represented as mechanically sound, which was absolutely not true. If you are considering buying a car from Sky Auto, my advice is to have a mechanic you trust examine the car. Do not trust what you’re told there.

Ryan StOnge: I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus back in May with 95000 miles and it’s still running great at 108000 miles. I purchased the car for well under the cost I would have paid at dealerships. And that’s what I love about BHM. The cars may be rebuilt and of coarse that’s why they are cheaper, but it seems like these guys are really good at ensuring the cars they rebuild do not have any significant damage to the working parts under the hood.Early next year I plan on purchasing a 2nd car from BHM with mileage in the 50-75k range because I have been utilizing my car to earn extra cash on delivery apps and I want to have a car to use just for that and another for personal use. And I will likely purchase from BHM again because I have such a good experience with them and know their cars are good quality.
