William Cook: This place needs better management. Check in I hadcuse electronic key on my phone as the line to check- in. Then did not work my last morning before check out. Room needs better housekeeping. Linens need replacing as some were stained and sheets were also stained. Escalator prices on different nights. I bought a milk in pantry and was charged different prices different nights. And when did Doubletree start charging for a cookie to go with my milk $3.00.As I had stood in line others got their cookies many two. I didn't stand in line too long as I went and used electronic key on my phone. This was the least friendly front desk I have ever met. It was like everything was an imposition everytime I approached the desk.
Soren Smith: The Hotel was beautiful, the restaurant staff was amazing, the 2 ladies that were there doing everything. The Front Desk staff that was there the day I was eva and an African American lady with black glasses, and a African American bald headed man. They all were bad . Including housekeeping, requested my room to be cleaned was told it was gonna be cleaned and me and my husband stayed downstairs in the lobby from 10 am to 2 . Went back to the room it had not been cleaned. Spoke to eva and the other lady just requested a set of towels and glasses she never came. The gentleman never came with the glasses or linens. My husband had to go get linens and glasses. Then we checked out and got triple charged. So if you need housekeeping request the day you check in. Wonderful hotel, honors member but they need staff. Front Desk Help. Restaurant help and housekeeping help. The Smiths....

They were kind and helpful… I couldn’t be more happier… they made my special day amazing…. It was clean and our room was very nice… if u ever need to host an event then ask for Karen she is the best….
Kevin Cahill (RUNKMC): Older hotel in a busy location is mostly setup for conferences. The traffic and parking around the hotel make this inconvenient to get in and out of the area. Linda Czaplicka: The entire front staff including Aubrey the “manager” should not work in customer services and should be sent for training. They were rude, derogatory and unhelpful. I will be taking my complaint further as these employees do not represent the Hilton brand. While these employees are running the show at the hotel I would not recommend to anyone, nobody should be dealing with snarky comments as a customer. To the actual manager please check your cameras and then post this clip for Hilton training of what not to do.

dave goodlet: I would give a negative score if I could. Listen my friends and I were going to Windsor to see Chicago earlier. We made reservations back in January and were going to be on the same floor with very close rooms. . BW called and had to move us due to repairs that were needed at the hotel. We were assured that the new accommodations would be similar to what we booked(Riverside view King Bed, etc.). The Holiday Inn Express they booked us into was not what we were thinking at all. We had a nice view of graffiti covered backs of business in a small hotel that had only two elevators that were hosting hockey teams. My friends were booked into the Doubletree. They got a suite and a view of the waterfront. I complained to Best Western but crickets, you can probably guess that our experience was dramatically less than our friends.

Carla Parker: My experience at Best Western Plus was a great one with my family. We spent the weekend for my son’s Provincial Basketball Tournament. The Hotel advertised the tournament with a huge billboard right at the front desk which was very impressive. The room and pool was very clean. Shadia’s help for the entire weekend was exceptional. Great location, very central and beautiful night ambience of the River and Detroit which is minutes away.

Joker: "I had a very frustrating experience with at “dantos furniture”. When I decided to cancel my order, I encountered poor customer service with an unfriendly attitude. They couldn't give me a delivery date and when I tried to contact them, they kept deflecting and promising to call me back, but never did. After waiting for a long time, I finally decided to go in person and they told me they would charge me a 25% cancellation fee, as stated in the contract. I was very upset by the unprofessional behavior of the staff, including one worker named Toni Martínez, who displayed a furious attitude as if he were the owner.Even worse, they even questioned the owner when he said he would only charge me 10% since I wouldn't be returning. This was done right in front of me, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.Eventually, I spoke with the owner and he was very kind and understanding. He said he would only charge me 10% because he didn't want to lose me as a customer. I appreciate that he tried to resolve the issue, but I think this store needs to retrain its employees, particularly Toni Martínez, to improve their customer service and unfriendly attitudes. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this store due to my negative experience."
Racheal Stawarz: I have got a really nice furniture set and they gave me a great deal they were so helpful . BUT in less than a 6 months my table started having rust marks. I have called them three times since I payload for my furniture in full. They stated said they’re going to call me back with someone who’s going to come out and look at it and to see and I have never heard back after that nor has someone ever come out to look at the rust on my brand new table that is less than a year old. I’m not happy at all about it. Pictures included to show the rust spots ( hard to get a good picture since a it’s spots)

Funny enough I didn't pay for setup and the woman on the phone reaffirmed with me that it would be coming in a box needing assembly. To my surprise when the men got here and pulled it off the truck it wasn't in a box and was fully assembled! That was easily the nicest thing that happened to me for the day. Saving me a lot of time that I would've had to spend otherwise, I am very thankful for that kind gesture.

When they came in they delivered the chairs the next day. The chairs were perfect and the service Danto furniture provided was even better. So happy with my purchase!

Beautiful Rainbow: My daughter and i arrived on May 23, 2023 tues stayed till the morning of the 25th. We traveled from cincinnati ohio 4hr trip, Came up for Janet Jackson concert, janet performed on the 24th, The hotel receptionists was nice and pleasant, welcoming, the buffet food was great, very large food selection, highly recommend the buffet, 45.00 a person, worth every penny ☺, free garage parking, have a few food cart restarants, rooms are nice and clean, very quiet hotel, bed is comfortable, also has a mini fridge, has a safe in room for valuables and money you may win down in casino☺, Also we was only 8 min drive frm the little ceasar arena where Janet performed. Overall score for Motorcity casino hotel i give it a 10. When i go back to detroit i will definitely book a room at Motorcity casino hotel.

Calvin Vondracek: Just stayed here for a Student Symposium in town. The place was pretty worn down (it looked to be VERY old), but everything functioned nonetheless. But on the third day we found bed bugs in our room, and they were willing to move us to another room but we didn't want to move to another room that might have had more bed bugs. Overall they had breakfast, it's in a nice location (bricked-in, tucked away from the main thoroughfare), and it was a place to stay; but a very nasty surprise at the end. No hotel should have bed bugs. Period.

The bathroom smelled like vomit, the hot water in the shower didnt work, the rooms were freezing, tvs did not work, and the walls were so thin you could hear every little noise outside of your room...including the room right beside ours that were screaming at 1230am. Not impressed, and would definitely not recommend especially if you have a child with you like we did. The only good thing was the hotel was so close to the event we were attending.

The room smelled like urine, the carpets were super filthy, broken furniture, just yuk! I wouldn’t let a dog stay in this hotel. The health department absolutely should shut this hotel down. Gina Denhof: This was by far the most filthy, dirty, disgusting, hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The hotel was advertised as non-smoking, but reeked of cigarette smoke and marijuana throughout the entire thing! I was so disgusted that I slept on top of the blankets of the bed, fully clothed, and felt like my skin was calling the entire time! I would absolutely never recommend this hotel to anyone, and will never stay there again! It was freezing cold outside, and we had no heat, there was no hot water, and the shower was literally black and filthy dirty! The carpet was black and very worn, and the entire building smelled of cigarette smoke and mold!!
