tlennon: I've been to this store twice previously with no issue. They've got my insurance on file. I made an appointment online. I show up and am told that that the doctor they have in that day doesn't accept my insurance but the store does. I ask why I was able to make an appointment with a doctor that doesn't take my insurance or why they didn't give me advance notice about this, or at least list the insurance they do take. No answer. Just told I had to pay full price. I left

Sarah Shaltis: Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a Warby Parker. All the workers were so rude and cold. They were so incompetent in adjusting glasses, she put her hands all over my lenses and wrenched my glasses until they almost broke and then proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do about it. I will never set foot in this location ever again.

Andre Iadipaolo: The retail experience at Warby Parker was pretty good. I had an eye exam and purchased glasses last year, all with very friendly service. However, DO NOT BUY WARBY PARKER GLASSES, THEY SCRATCH EXTREMELY EASILY.Out of all the glasses I've ever had in my life, these have scrached the easiest. Less than a full year having them and the lenses look like I've had them for 6. Shopping experience was good, frames look awesome.... does not make up for the extremely low quality product. Take your business elsewhere, Warby Parker is not worth the hype.

Marisa Hamel Casazza: Don't go here for your eye exam/prescription or contacts. They messed up my contacts prescription, I ordered ill-fitting contacts that were bi-weekly instead of dailies as the prescription indicated, and when I tried to get the daily contacts ordered they insisted on me coming in for a completely new eye exam, even though my prescription was still valid, and did not offer to waive the eye exam fee. I will not be coming back for eye glasses or contacts.

A man answers and tells me yes store is open and they are open for inside business. No appointments needed. I Drive down and they are closed!!! No signs on the doors of why or anything. There is a positive ending though. I went to Ford Health system OptimEyes and Kerri whom helped me as extremely friendly. Plus They were following all Covid protocols so they received my $1546 worth of business from the different peers of glasses I purchased.

And even when I was looking at frames she wasn't really listening to what I was saying. When I purchased glasses at the Warren location, I ended up exchanging my lenses for single vision. I NEVER requested to remove Transitions from my original order, but somehow it was taken off the order. I called the office and the lame optician said "You're outside of the 45-day warranty." So I'm stuck with lenses because someone messed up. I've called corporate and I hope they can address this issue because glasses are too expensive to get the order wrong and then say "outside of warranty." STAY AWAY FROM SVS!!!!!!

I rushed there for service one day and granted they were closing in 20 minutes but like any other professional company, you help every customer that enters before closing. They turned me away. I came back and placed my order and specifically asked how long it would take. I was told a week. It’s been over a week and now I’m being told another week. This is a huge inconvenience.

A Wright: The staff were friendly, however I was disappointed with my eye exam. Not sure if there is new protocol between eye doctors and insurance but I felt my eye exam was subpar. The staff asked me multiple times if I had specific questions or concerns for the doctor and my answer was ‘no’. However, I think this response probably gave the ok for what I feel was an incomplete exam. I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years. At every eye exam I’ve always had my eyes dilated to look at the back of my eyes. This didn’t happen at my eye exam on yesterday. The doctor just readdressed my old prescription and used his otoscope to look at my eyes. This is just a little concerning as I have family history of glaucoma and cataracts. I don’t think I should have to verbally request a standard screening, if that is what I’m there for and the insurance is paying. Maybe I’m misinformed. I guess I’ll find out for sure next year at a different eye doctor… I had to edit this. I forgot to mention the best part of my experience. The staff was more than accommodating! I wore an old pair of glasses to the appt and needed them adjusted. Without hesitation, multiple staff went out of their way to make sure this was done. Also, when selecting a pair of glasses, staff was more than helpful, showing me multiple options of different styles. I really did appreciate this as I can be very indecisive.

Call back on Saturday said she will look and see if they had frame put us on hold 5min then said she will call us back never did! Call back Monday and talk with young man Corey at Mack & Moross so professional at for son d-day name look it up said he could order them with payment and they take a few days and was able to pick new frame up on Thursday!! She should have spoke to me like the doctor did with questionsI spoke to her afterwards and ahe apologized! she still needs a lotof training on customer service that's why I only gave 3 🌟 This was my first bad experience at this location normally its wonderful all the way around.***UPDATE *** 3/1/23I was very impressed at the quick resolution this company did! The district manager called me back today less than a week and apologized to me and my daughter. I greatly appreciate that and I gave them a 4 🌟 now for the quick response and genuinely caring about my daughter and my experience at thier store.

Kelsey Grass: Highly recommend! Their attention to detail is unlike any other place I’ve been to. I felt like they really cared about me and my specific needs. They make sure the prescription on the lenses is in the exact location my irises line up to which is something nowhere else did for me. (They said that is the most common comment they get) I have a narrow face and my eyes are kinda close together so this is a big deal for me. They made sure they found the correct frame size that fits my tiny face and when the glasses were ready to pick up they made sure the nose piece and arms were adjusted to make sure they felt comfortable and they don’t even slip out of place.

They helped me decide on which frames to get with helpful advice, instead of just saying everything looks great to get a sale. The glasses are amazing quality. Lillian Barquni: The team at visions of canada was amazing. Everything was explained to me thoroughly by all employees rather than the usual quick and dry eye exam. They also have the best selection for eyewear with every brand I can think of. I was helped my Nisa S for my contact fitting session and she was so helpful. I was nervous before going and even put off getting contact lenses for years because of this but she assured me there was nothing to worry about and taught me step by step how to deal with and take care of contacts. Jasmine Blue: This is my first time coming here for my daughter and I am super satisfied. They quality of the glasses was great. The employee at the desk was so happy when my daughter tried them on. During our appointment, she was always making sure everyone there was doing okay and allowed my daughter to find a pair of glasses she loved. I also loved how she wrote everything down as we spoke, and explaining everything to me so I can get a clear rundown of everything I should know before purchasing. Customer service is absolutely great, will definitely recommend to everyone but especially families with kids here. It’s very child accommodating.

syed khair: The worst optical doctor and the stuff ever, not even close to professional, the doctor always in vacation for months after months.they are keep changing the appointments once I booked and wait for months, they wasted my two months and they called me back and said doctor is in vacation again another two weeks and you cannot come together with the family you have to come in separate days and the customer service is very very poor.

Going to an in- network Pearce Vision would have only been cheaper if we took ugly frames. Highly recommend. Really went above and beyond. Not all Pearle Vision’s are the same. Joe Westermann: I bought a pair of rayban eyeglasses from here recently. I never received a phone call notifying me that my glasses had arrived. After 3 weeks go by and numerous phone calls and messages left they were finally in. I tried them on and they were crooked/tilted on my face. I asked to have the frames adjusted. The front desk person was adjusting the frames and wasn't wearing gloves so she ended up scratching both lenses in the process. My glasses were under warranty thankfully so I got both lenses replaced and had to wait another three weeks for new lenses to get shipped to the store (also never received any phone calls/messages to notify me that the new lenses were in). Then when the lenses did arrive after 3 more weeks the front desk person popped the new lenses in another pair of frames with no gloves on or any kind of support to prevent the lenses from getting scratched. So they ended up getting scratched again. Pearle vision wouldn't refund my money or offer any other solutions to the problem. The front desk person was extremely rude and unprofessional both times I had been there. The hours of operation at this store differ from online/in store which is absolutely ridiculous. The Eye Doctor who initally gave me the eye exam was the only nice/honest person who worked there. I will never return to this location and I will gladly go to a different location even if I have to drive 30+ minutes away!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got there at 6:15 and they were closed with a sign on the door with hours completely different from google (sign wasn’t on the door when I came to order my glasses). Seems like a very easy fix, but who am I? 😒 Here’s hours as of 8/10/21, hope it helps someone.Edit: just went during posted hours on Saturday. It’s randomly closed with a note on the door. It would be faster if they could just mail me the glasses.

Brian Borg: Staff is friendly and polite but thats about it. Had an appointment February 16th where I ordered new glasses and contacts. After not hearing from them after 3 weeks I called to see if my glasses/contacts were ready for pickup - no answer, left a detailed message but no returned phone call. I got a call that the contacts had finally arrived April 16th. I went that day to pick them up and the glasses were still not ready. The receptionist told me she would contact the lab and reach out to me within 24 hours to give an update... that was a week ago and still radio silence. At this point I'm convinced I'm either being scammed or my glasses were never ordered. Either way, waiting 9+ weeks with impaired vision after spending over $600 is absolutely ridiculous. I'd highly recommend going to another location or with another company. Still trying to figure out how to either get the product I paid for or my money back.

Poochie: I came to Pearl Vision at 22757 Woodward & 9 Mile Road 3 times through the week after getting off work at 5:00 pm, it closed at 3:00, 4:00 & 5:00 pm, but is open Saturday from 8 am-3 pm on the door post, went on 4/10/2021 at 1:40 pm, was told they are only taking appointments, i said tried to come through 3 times through the week, they were closed, don't get off until 5:00, i said will take my money somewhere else, asked for the phone # to corporate, was told isn't one, go on the website, pearlvision.com to make a complaint & did. They could've made any exception, if anybody know a corporate # pleas advise.
