andrea Golden: If I could give negative stars I would. The Pharmacy has no idea what is going on. Sadly they don't understand billing, insurance coverages, or how to navigate the insurance protocols. Also, they have violated HIPPA as the gave me another customer's medication accidentally. Please be cautious and very patient is you decide to use this CVS location as your pharmacy. They are slow, don't answer their phone, and are often unwilling to answer questions regarding medication or billing. Very disappointing.
Cyn Symoné: I walked to find the eyelashes and seen the “see sales associate sign” I walked to the front and asked if someone was available to unlock them she replied “well your going to have to just wait in line and I’ll get to it when I can get to it “ in the most nastiest way possible. So I patiently waited in line there was only one person before me, and when she got the lashes and cashed me out I told her she had a really bad attitude and I hope her day gets better. She responded “that’s unfortunate” Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant employee. She rolled her eyes and twitched her neck at me for simply asking if there was someone available. I do not appreciate this service I will not be back.
Karen Davis: I have been using this CVS for many, many years. Occasionally, I try the nearly Rite Aid or Walgreens, but the CVS staff are MUCH more friendly & helpful--both clerks and pharmacy. Once in a great while they are out of something I am looking for, but only rarely. I do wish they did Western Union & sold wine, but realize why they do not. It is clean & neat & I have never had a problem there, never an incorrect prescription, never a wrong price charged. I am glad they are here!

Nova Phonix: The Middle Eastern Pharmacist is disrespectful, unprofessional, rude; yet he's still there. He has lost my prescription and apparently I am not the only one. He doesn't answer the phone and makes me sometimes wait days or weeks to get my medicine. The only reprieve is the pharmacist that works on Wednesday ( a AA women,) who always make sure I receive my medicine, she always seemed to be working with one tech, but the unprofessional ME pharmacist has two to three. I like to say the tech Nicole is always kind and professional.

Called a prescription in 10 days early and when we went to pick it up they said the didn't carry the drug and it's still on order.Actual human beings would call the customer and let them know. These monsters didn't bother. Then when I called the phone rang for 20 minutes and no one answered. These lazy clowns just sat they're and ignored it.They should lose their jobs.

Maronda Anderson: Save yourself the hassle. This pharmacy has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. When my doctor sent them my prescription they didn't enter the info in the system. I called them to see if it was filled after being hung up on twice someone told me that they couldn't fill it b/c their refrigerator had went out, and that I can call another CVS and have them pull my prescription and get it filled that way. So I'm like bam bet, I call around to two other CVS's neither of them could find my prescription. After calling this location back 3 times I finally get through to someone who has the nastiest attitude and she says that the other locations can easily pull my script they just didn't want to. So after this y'all I'm exhausted (it had been 3 hours) I decide to just deal with it in the morning. So the next day I call the original CVS I us to use by my old house on 11 mile/John R and same thing they don't see a prescription for me which means this location did not put it in the system or they have my information wrong. So here it is m being on hold for 15 mins now with this location and Im writing this review.

Me Myself: I've lost 3 jobs due to this location alone and yes I've spoken to the store manager and the pharmacy manager yet as a first responder I can't get my medication so I can provide care for my consumer's and still have to go to this length to get my point across. This location is in the medical district. Not to mention my PCP is located at 4201 st antoine has been my same doctor for at least 7years. Same perception method she's always used send me medication and refills directly to the pharmacist and guess whose facing eviction me and the pharmacist mgt dosen't care nor does the store manager. And C.V.S is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.........not in my experience and I have been a loyal customer since I was 18. Lord willing I will be 39 next month and facing eviction, dte energy about to be cut off. My phone is off it only works on wifi. I'm just one person I'm sure amongst many customer's I'm sure are facing the delima. Still to this day no one nor the corporation has done anything about the initial problem however the service employees have gotten worse
Aaron Gerard: This is by far the worst pharmacy you could go to: for months out of convenience I committed myself to this pharmacy. The staff is subpar underprepared and the pharmacist are either rude or liars. It’s a mix of come back tomorrow or in an hour or the next day. Time gas and patients are too fickle in this day and age to constantly be given the short end of the stick. Not only have I switched to Walgreens I’m considering also pulling my Aetna health insurance which is in affiliation with CVS/ care mark. They know that they are busy and serve a very busy area yet instead of working to enrich the quality and quality of their staff they make the customer suffer the blunt of it all. Safe to say in Detroit CVS will never see me or my money. I would be lying if I said I wish them the best so I’ll say that I don’t wish them any harm or bad in their future endeavors. As for cvs as fortune 15 company I wish you all do better to ensure your clients are taken care of, I even attempted to call and complain and was given further run around. I wish this company would live up to its reputation. Minus one star for the lethargic staff, minus one star for the in proper text pick up messaging service, minus one star for being late from lunch/break and making me wait an hour, minus one star for simply being unprofessional.

Haris Explores: I drove all the way from home to get some payodin for my father's minor injury and they were closed I mean your running multi million dollar company is that hard to put this in your system with me there were like 7 people that came and left there and I don't know how many more would do the same thing cmon and be professional this is not 70s or 80s to put a sign on your door you can add it easily in google map so everyone know that what is going on there google map isn't just for putting your address it's for people to find there way and this is literally the times that businesses need to use google map as thier advantage.

Anita R.: My fourteen year old daughter had dental surgery and her surgeon gave a paper prescription for pain medication. We brought it to this location to have it filled and they wouldn't. They kept telling us that we can pick it up in a hour. We came back four times for pick up and they still hadn't filled it. I called on third hour to ask what was going on and while on the phone with one pharmacist telling me that they had to contact the surgeon to fill it, another pharmacist rudely yelled in the background saying " I aint filling it"! So I asked are y'all just going to leave my child in pain for me to deal with when the prescription was there in enough time for the surgeon to be called? They had no response to that. Then the pharmacist I was on the phone with suggested extra strength tylenol for the pain, to which I responded "that's better then leaving my child in pain all night". If it wasnt for the pharmacist tonya at least suggesting and giving the extra strength tylenol, my child would've suffered in pain throughout the night. When I told them I was a RN and know that I needed that pain med before the surgeon's medication wear off they got quite and pretended to be very professional. They still didn't fill the script and ended up giving it back. Please go somewhere where the patient's wellbeing matter more than logistics.

Kim Possible: I have been on the phone holding on for 33 minutes now. The first guy answered the phone very politely as I asked for him to tell me if they have some CVS Diabetic Strips? He said that he was the only person working in the store and the pharmacy is closed. I told him that I understand, but I don't want to get a ride up there and they are still out. I had just went a few days ago and they were out. About 10 minutes after holding on a lady came on the phone and ask what was I holding for. I told her the same thing, I needed the CVS BRAND of test strips, she said hold on so you can speak to someone in the pharmacy. Finally after 45 minutes of holding on the man from the pharmacy picked up the phone and said no they were all out.

Diamond Trask: I use this CVS for the UPS access point and it’s very convenient. I also receive a text when the package is picked up which is not available at every access point. I came the day after Christmas and it said they opened at 8am.. I waited until 8:20 and the doors stayed locked, but the lights were on and I saw a car in the lot. Parking lot is usually dirty, and the inside could be maintained better but sometimes friendly people like any other CVS.

They never called & told me it was ready so I call they say they don't see any prescriptions for me. Then my Doctors office called (2nd time) they say I have to fill out a profile before I pick up the prescription. Okay... go there the pharmacist says it's not ready & won't be till tomorrow. THANKS for not bringing that to my attention before I went up there & waisted 40 mins of my life!!! I guess I'll be switching Pharmacys once again. Also the two male pharmacist are completely unprofessional.

Spencer Smith: Don’t use this pharmacy. When your doctor calls in a prescription they don’t actually process it. They don’t prepare it or even make sure it’s in stock. Instead, they wait for you to come in or call them to check on it. If they don’t end up having it in stock then you wait an extra week to get your medication. This shows ZERO respect for their customers time and health. If they would do their job when the prescription was called in by a doctor this would never happen. But they just don’t care at all.
Johnny Boy: The customer service at this establishment is atrocious and sad. When I visit this pharmacy, some of the staff are rude and have attitudes for no reason. Furthermore, there are times when I come to the pharmacy before closing hours, only for the pharmacy to be closing/closed long before the actual closing hours. Its frustrating when they don't adhere to the hours advertised on the front of the store, nor notify the public to changes in the hours of operation. Don't spend your money here, cause they don't appreciate it.
Caleb: One pharmacist says it'll be in on the 13th. We come in the 14th, and are told by the other pharmacist that it'll be in the 15th. We come in on the 15th, and are told they don't know when it'll be in. Now we have to go through withdrawals because they don't know what's going on.I don't expect them to know where the shipments are at all times, but if it had been communicated sooner that they did not know when, or even if, it was getting there, we could have tried to get it filled at another pharmacy.Day two without a medication we've been on for almost a decade, because they can't do their jobs.

Tylynn Puller: I love this CVS pharmacy "Anil" downtown Detroit, is such a joy to do business with, he makes it so much easier when I pick my prescriptions up, he is so helpful and explains everything and is very knowledgeable and informative. Out of all the CVS pharmacies that I've been to, this he is far more the best.
Theo: The staff TODAY was excellent, the best I have experienced in years of going to this location. Your FEMALE staff is very capable and helpful ALLTHE TIME! Please keep your female staff!
Jessica Nathan: Went in for a quick errand and when I wasn't able to find what I needed, an associate was quick to help and was also helpful on the self-checkout kiosk. The only downside were the panhandlers out front, but that's not really within the store's control. Otherwise, the place is neat, and associates are nice.

David Squires: This morning I was in Downtown Detroit and I stopped at CVS to pick up a few things between bus transfers. I found the customers and employees very friendly. After picking up my things and I was out in 15 minutes. I am glad that your store has Self Serve Checkouts. I used to go to CVS in the GM World Headquarters,(Formally Renaissance Center)before CVS Closed Permanently. Whenever I am in Downtown Detroit and I will be stopping in to pick up items I need between bus transfers. Back in the day,I still remember when this used to be a Sanders Bakery and Ice Cream Soda Counter in this building.

At checkout, the CVS associate both suggested and quickly organized one. This also benefited my wife who was with me and purchased products under the similar offer. All the representatives were very helpful and apart from the cashier there was also someone who was constantly intervening to help - speeding the checkout process, helping people to use the self cash out process. Very impressed by the service of all CVS staff.

Please note that I am not talking about the pharmacists. As a customer of CVS for well over a decade, this location is by far the worst. The staff's customer service skills are severely lacking and the turnover rate is very high. I am always satisified with the variety and quality of the products. However, the staff members are so rude and ignorant that I am often aggravated and frustrated after my visit. Needless to say, I will never ever do business with CVS again!!!

I didn’t even know there were coupons for prescription medicine. He also did the same for my husband’s medication. In addition to helping us save money he was just a really nice guy and every interaction was great!Huge shoutout to Anil for his dedication and amazing customer service. I told him I had an RX card well you still got a pay the $600, then hang up on me I had another question about a flu shot. this is the second time I had a problem talking to me rudely and family members. I will find another place and it wouldn’t be CVS. I want to give them a zero rating.

Tajhmahal Robinson: The black old lady with bags under her eyes is a horrible worker. She mean mugs customers asking for help because she wont attend to the front counter. I didnt see her put my $50 into the register so I think she took it from cvs because I got my change. She set my bill on the counter and then It disappeared. She also lied and said i had to put $20 minimum on my chime card to reload. I had to refund my tissue and she was upset about that. But there is no minimun according to google. She was just trying to get rid of me. She only adhusted her tone slightly when other customers came to my support. She is horrible with customer service and doesn’t really deserve to be assisting cvs services.
jason green: This has to be the worst cvs in the city of Detroit. They send a message saying my prescription is ready. When I get there in 5 minutes. They tell me they couldn’t fill it because their refrigerator went down. Then I ask why did you send a message saying it was ready for pickup. The pharmacist gets a attitude with me. I’m going to get my prescriptions at Meijers. This makes no sense.

Melanie Kell: I was in this location on 8/9/2021, and wanted to give a "great job and thank you" shout-out to the helpful and kind cashier named SHANRELLE.I could barely speak due to my cold and I think she could tell I wasn't feeling well. As she scanned my items, she took a look at what I was about to buy and told me the OTC medication I intended to purchase was expired. I was grateful she noticed that because I certainly didn't, and thanked her for letting me know. She was kind and patient as I walked back to the area and grabbed something else, and was genuinely helpful from start to finish. So, thank you, Shanrelle. I appreciate you.

Julia Rodgers: They gave me the wrong medication for a completely different medical condition and I ended up taking it for several days. When I noticed and called they told me the prescriber made the error. My prescriber said she did not. I called back another day and they told me they made the error. Huge patient safety issue.
Lygia Rose: So for three days they haven’t had my daughters antibiotics ready nor her vitamin D I called they say they out of stock and ordering it for next day I come the next day now they saying they don’t have it in stock still and to come back now here’s the 3rd day and they still don’t have it ready tell me they don’t have either medication so my daughter has had a prolonged infection for 3days am I the only one taking a child being sick seriously I need to know where I can find a formal complaint! Immediately this is absolutely unacceptable!

candace Joseph: The pharmacist and the technicians are beyond rude and disrespectful and they lie for no reason they got mad at me and my insurance company because they didn’t want to give me my medicine that I need and I’m 6 months pregnant every time I go up there to get my medicine filled it takes them 4 -5 day’s just to refill it then they want to blame the insurance company for not giving me my medicine and my insurance company caught them in a lie and transferred all my stuff to a different company and they kept hanging up in my insurance company when they called and was very rude to her as well
Raven Kidd: This is the worst CVS just based on customer service. The manager never helps with any problems he just always tell people he can not help. The employees never greet you or even tell you your total. I live right down the street but I’d rather drive an hour before going back to this CVS.

I work for a dental office and part of my job is to call in necessary prescriptions for patients after surgical procedures as the doctors representative. I spoke with Syed today who, after taking the prescription, all of the patients information, and all of the doctors information refused to fill the prescription because it contained a controlled substance and he didn't "trust it". He refused to talk to the doctor and said that we needed to improve our systems at the office. All because i refused to fax over the prescription through our virtual fax system which puts patients and our private information at risk! This was extremely rude and a huge inconvenience for our office and the patient. Believe this is NOT the first time but it WILL be the last! Hi

I was left on hold for over 35 minutes, trying to call in a verbal order for a patient, hung up on twice, and when the pharmacist finally decided to take my call, he was outright rude to me. I will never refer any of my patients to this pharmacy. They do not practice CVS' policies, which I personally know, because I used to be a CVS employee. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
