Joker: "I had a very frustrating experience with at “dantos furniture”. When I decided to cancel my order, I encountered poor customer service with an unfriendly attitude. They couldn't give me a delivery date and when I tried to contact them, they kept deflecting and promising to call me back, but never did. After waiting for a long time, I finally decided to go in person and they told me they would charge me a 25% cancellation fee, as stated in the contract. I was very upset by the unprofessional behavior of the staff, including one worker named Toni Martínez, who displayed a furious attitude as if he were the owner.Even worse, they even questioned the owner when he said he would only charge me 10% since I wouldn't be returning. This was done right in front of me, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.Eventually, I spoke with the owner and he was very kind and understanding. He said he would only charge me 10% because he didn't want to lose me as a customer. I appreciate that he tried to resolve the issue, but I think this store needs to retrain its employees, particularly Toni Martínez, to improve their customer service and unfriendly attitudes. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this store due to my negative experience."
Racheal Stawarz: I have got a really nice furniture set and they gave me a great deal they were so helpful . BUT in less than a 6 months my table started having rust marks. I have called them three times since I payload for my furniture in full. They stated said they’re going to call me back with someone who’s going to come out and look at it and to see and I have never heard back after that nor has someone ever come out to look at the rust on my brand new table that is less than a year old. I’m not happy at all about it. Pictures included to show the rust spots ( hard to get a good picture since a it’s spots)

Funny enough I didn't pay for setup and the woman on the phone reaffirmed with me that it would be coming in a box needing assembly. To my surprise when the men got here and pulled it off the truck it wasn't in a box and was fully assembled! That was easily the nicest thing that happened to me for the day. Saving me a lot of time that I would've had to spend otherwise, I am very thankful for that kind gesture.

They were able to order the bed I really want, in the color I want, the size I want with the mattress I fell in love with at the beginning. They even took a step further to disfigure their show room to show how high my bed would sit adding a low profile frame. Which was something else I wanted. Needed height for my back problems. With all of that, it was just a few bucks more than my first quote. I’m beyond happy. I can’t wait to receive my bed.

William McMullin: I just noticed all the drawers in the desk I purchased at Discount Office Equipment are crooked. I suppose I wouldn't have paid $250 for a desk with all of its drawers bent.The laminate on the top was coming up, so I glued that down. I should have inspected the desk more carefully, but I was in a hurry, since Discount Office Equipment told me earlier in the day when I stopped by that there were no Steelcase desks. By the time they told me there was one, I only had a short period of time.Delivery was extremely fast and easy.
Rusty Metal: Great place for office equipment. You can choose from a large selection of used furniture or order something new as well. Location is east off Coolidge Hwy in an industrial business area. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable, also the prices are reasonable. They do deliver and offer to build larger items. I highly recommend this business.

Eric Matthews: I was looking for a very specific model of media console/TV stand (BDI Corridor 8173) and saw that Bright Ideas was a retailer for that manufacturer. I wanted to go with a local retailer rather than order online because it was a relatively pricey item and didn't want to risk the headache of having to ship it back to someone in the event of a defect. I called Bright Ideas and spoke to Sharon. It was a special order item. Sharon got me a quote and lead time right away. It was well worth the wait. The white glove delivery was also very reasonably priced and the deliverymen were great. I couldn't be happier with the product and service!
Paul Rabahy: We worked with Julie and she was amazing! She spent a lot of time helping us find the perfect color for our house for a new sectional. While our sectional was being built she did an excellent job of keeping us informed of progress and expected delivery dates. The delivery men did a great job and showed up right on time. The got the sectional into place through a tight hallway without any damages! We are super impressed by the entire experience! Highly recommend!
Rose Aisanich: I recently purchased a BDI TV console from Bright Ideas in Royal Oak. Sharon was extremely valuable in helping me pick out the one that fit in best with my decor. When my console was delivered, however, I noticed a furniture blemish that needed attention. I dealt with Lynda who was most cordial and willing to assist me in obtaining a new door for my console. In fact, I only needed to provide the information of the problem and she arranged the rest. I don't think I have ever received the kind of customized service that I was given at Bright Ideas. I have shopped there for many years because of the high quality products they carry, great selection and the highest quality service in the metro area. Sharon is the best, and she was very knowledgeable and kind. The white glove delivery was perfect, and the delivery guys were very pleasant and professional. If I could give more stars, I would.
