A Stevens: I started bringing my rescue jack russell terrier/poodle mix, Davey, here for grooming in March when our previous groomer closed - and it has been such a dream experience.The staff is so friendly and welcoming and seem to genuinely love their work. Everyone is very chill and understanding and helpful. We’ve only been in a couple times and the staff already recognized us, which felt really sweet.The reminder texts and emails are super helpful but I don’t get inundated with emails from them (the monthly calendars are adorable). I also get a huge kick out of getting Davey’s “report card” when I pick him up from grooming. I assumed this was only for doggie daycare - but it genuinely lights me up a little to see he’s had a good day lol.Booking grooming is easy now that we’re on a schedule - the first appt I made did end up being about 6 weeks out from when I called so keep that in mind if you are just starting out - but I recently found out that one of the reasons is because they ensure they never have too many pets in the grooming area at one time so the dogs aren’t stressed and the groomers aren’t overwhelmed - which is honestly such a relief given my little guy isn’t great with crowds. And this just ensures that every dog is really getting their proper time and care.Davey grows his curls quick (my friends have likened him to a chia pet lol) and our first appt was a perfect storm of me getting sick and having to cancel an appt with his previous groomer, and then that shop closing a month later before I called to rebook (since they didn’t take reservations in advance) so he was really quite matted at our first appt. The groomer took this in stride and got Davey looking and feeling wonderful and never once made me feel bad about it. They clearly keep thorough notes in their system because they noted that Davey’s coat was in better condition this time when I came in - which was so cool to me that they could look back and have that information. While I was there, Christian was handling the grooming front desk and he was so personable and helpful - and I also noticed he was calling owners to let them know about scratches or hot spots groomers had found on dogs while grooming, or if a dog was having a harder time and asking if they could proceed with a groom that would be more comfortable for the dog. I’ve had Davey 10 years and a senior rescue aussie for 3 years before him - not once have I had a groomer call me about any of that before. If it’s happened, it’s always been something they tell me at pickup. The dedication to all of the dogs best care was really clear to me just observing this for a few minutes and made me feel so safe leaving Davey in their care.This time, I got the text that Davey was ready for pickup right in the middle of a last minute work project before I would be off early for the holiday weekend - and I called and asked if it would be okay if I finished up my work before coming to pickup. They were totally fine with that and said as long as I picked up before closing, it was no big deal. I took an hour to finish my work and Davey was a bouncy happy little guy when I got there - seemingly not fussed at all that he hung out there an extra hour.They also now have Saturdays available which is great - however our last couple appts have been during the work week and I just bring my laptop and work from one of the local cafes or delis. The location is really convenient for that. Although they do have an easy drop off point if you want to just drive up and park for a hot minute and then head back home.I wish Davey liked hanging out with other dogs so we could join in more of the events and activities they offer lol - but even just for grooming - I cannot recommend them enough.
Eve Montgomery: The staff are knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, and kind. Canine to Five, in addition to having an awesome name, were quick to respond to my initial application and incredibly flexible with scheduling our first day visit/evaluation. As a first time daycare user, I felt comforted by the genuinely caring demeanor of all staff with whom I interacted. I trust that they took exceptional care of my little guy due to their detailed and informed feedback. Finding trustworthy and compassionate caregivers for my no. 1 sidekick takes away so much of my stress surrounding starting a new job and having to be away from him. I highly recommend Canine to Five!

He looked so clean, his coat very shiny, nails cut low much more. He looked like a new dog. I made an appointment for every 4-5 weeks. @PETSMART LIVONIA/DEARBORN 👎 said my boy was aggressive and that they couldn’t service us anymore. They’re liars!!!! My boy was giving doggie kisses to the CANINE TO 5💙 staffers. He is very loving and gets excited around other dogs. Thanks @PETSMART LIVONIA/DEARBORN 👎 for your poor customer service, which led me to choose a professional provider for my dog’s grooming needs. However, Canine to Five made us so much more comfortable. They have answered all of our questions. They have been very kind and professional. They have webcams to check in on your pup throughout the day. Also, her report card at the end of the day made us feel so much better! We are so excited to continue taking our pup here, she loved it so much she didn’t want to leave at pick up. Canine to Five is very worth it! A great place to take your dog, so they’re not lonely throughout the day.

nicolai mansoori: Martin sells sick and dying dogs just got contacted by another person who’s dog died 2 weeks later. That is two dogs in the matter of one month and I’m sure there are many more. Do your research Martin has a terrible reputation amongst the local vets and the clawson vet which he claims to take the dogs has stated that they have had several issues with him. Stay away from this scam artist. And nice try with all the fake reviews from friends

Jeanine Grimaudo: The best kennel I have found. I have been trusting them with my dogs for over 10 years. Kennels have both indoor and outdoor runs that can be accessed by the dogs without being handled by the kennel caretakers. This has been a lifesaver for one of my boys who's unfortunately anxious and fear aggressive. He can remain calm throughout his stay. They are reasonably priced, offer many extra services, and ensure they house only healthy dogs who are fully vaccinated.
Ravi Ankatha: My dog came back with kennel coff and was in pain for over 2 months and took a lot of money to get medication for him so this just shows why u shouldn’t use jagersbo
Erika Amicucci: Very similar story to others who have posted reviews. I applied hoping to work in the kennel area last summer. It took about a month and a half to hear back, and they offered me a position working at the front desk. I accepted and went in for my first day of shadowing. During this time, one of the owners flatly told me that she did not need to hire anyone else, implying that I was fired (on my very first day). The other owner told me to disregard this, and that I was wanted/needed. I was originally scheduled to come in for my second day of shadowing, but one of my coworkers told me not to come in that day, by text and then the company essentially ghosted me. I was never contacted by them again and never paid for the hours that I did work. I would not take my dogs here, or do any business with this company.

Lily Gabos: I applied for a job here this past June as a newly graduated high school student looking for work the summer before moving off to college. I did not receive any word back from them until late July. I went in for my first day only to be put to work at the front desk. Although I applied to work in the kennel, I still accepted the job hoping to be of help wherever they needed it. On my first day, I served as a shadow to one of the girls who had only begun working a month or so before I did and she showed me the ropes of working at the front desk and answering calls. I met the owner of the Kennel, I introduced myself as she did to me and that was that. I come back for my second day, expecting to take on another day of shadowing, however, when I got there, I was told I had to run the front desk, answer the phones, etc. for the remainder of the day…keep in mind I had no prior experience of working a front desk until then. At the end of my shift that day, I saw the owner again. Within a few days, it seemed as if she had forgotten me, given the fact that she re-introduced herself to me. She then proceeded to tell me she didn’t need my help. A few days later I had received a text from one of my coworkers basically firing me herself. I asked her if I was going to be paid for the 2 days I worked because I thought that I at least deserved that. She got back to me and told me that the next time she worked she would talk to the owner and let me know…that day never came and I never got paid for the work I did.

N S: I have owned three dogs over the past 35 years and have boarded them all at Jagersbo. I did a lot of business travel and my dogs were there frequently. The staff is friendly, professional and truly love animals. They have taken excellent care of my dogs. Casey, the groomer, makes my dog look good for a very reasonable price. I moved 45 minutes away from Jagersbo, but I have a new dog and I have continued to use their boarding and grooming service.......will not trust anyone else with my pets!

Mister: My dog loves this place! I have been taking my pet here for over 6 years and he has always been well taken care of. When I say let’s go to doggie daycare, he jumps up and runs to the door. What I appreciate is they took the time to learn his personality before pairing him with another dog. He doesn’t get along with all dogs so the first couple of visits, they had him by himself and slowly introduced him to others. They do get extremely busy around the holidays, so I tend not to send him during these times. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner.
Sandy Woods: I can't even begin to start how awful this place is. Our 6 month old retriever was there for only two days, and when we came back home we noticed he had a big bruise on his private parts. We ended up having to go to the Pet ER and the vet there told us that this was caused by mechanical injury. Most likely intentional. We then proceeded to call about it with a complain about it and was told that they will "look into it" but they never did.
Andrew Lakocy: Do not take a cat to be boarded here! Tried out the kennel for a couple hours to see what it was like before we went on vacation and they just stuck the cat in the same room as all of the loudly barking dogs. When we came back after the trial, he was huddled in the back of his cage scared for his life. Couldn’t imagine him leaving there for a week. Do not know about boarding a dog but I have heard good things.

Tim R: Our Havanese has been going to Lil Dogs for more than 10 years and we wouldn't think of leaving her anywhere else. We never a worry or are concerned about how she is - the facility and staff are top notch and take amazing care of her. She has been on a special diet since she was a pup and Lil Dogs is always so careful to make sure it is adhered to. She always comes back home as a happy healthy dog. We also have her groomed at Lil Dogs and are always super pleased with how she looks. Lil Dogs Resort is THE BEST!

The biggest unexpected benefit is that his body has gotten so much stronger he is a little beefcake now! Im positive his life has been extended by this entire experience and his well being improved beyond measure.

erbora mankollari: We thought we found the best daycare for my dog but we have been going though a lot with them lately. They dont hear your concerns. All they do is hang up the phone.My dog attended their daycare on a Monday and came home with 2 fleas and red bumps allover his body. On a Saturday we let them know and they told us would spray everything.The next week on Monday we sent him again and guess what he was so itching couldn't stay 1 sec without scratching. Found 2 more fleas.Let them know on Tuesday whats going on. Was told by the management would let other parents know bc regarding to them they dont have real grass so they dont have fleas and they made an accusation that we might have fleas in our home.After explaining them for the 3rd of 4th time why he got the fleas in the first time the just dont listen.We thought will give them another try after making sure that our dog got sprayed and got his petarmor dose.. Called them to ask nicely if they sprayed or talked to others about that problem and I got the worst attitude from a male rep. He didnt want to answer, didnt want to listen and continued to make accusations and just hung up.They would not see me again. Have been sending our dog for everything there such as grooming, boarding and now daycare but they dont value you as a customer and dont give a damn about well-being of the pets.

Tiffany Robinson: The staff and owners are amazing. They treat each o the animals they care for as their own. Our fur baby loves the staff. He tends to get anxious when we leave him but the staff knows just how to make him comfortable and relaxed. We receive updates throughout the stay as well. He is always fresh and clean when we pick him up so don't forget to book a bath before your pickup time. Highly recommend. We have used other facilities but this is by far the best we have found with a price point that is unmatched for the service you receive.
Amanda Bliss: I’m not sure why this place has so many good reviews. First and foremost- the “manager” hardly spoke to us upon dropping our dogs off for the first time. I felt unsettled but kept reminding myself of the reviews, website and of the area. Upon picking my dogs up the manager still hadn’t memorized their names or the gentleman working, after over a week of having them! She referred to them as the black and white ones with long hair. We were never greeted. I thought ok- they aren’t people “people.” I don’t think their dog people either. The lady never said how they did, if they were good or what they enjoyed, how they ate ECT she maybe spoke 5 words to us. I paid for them both to be bathed on the last day- they smell so bad I had to give them another bath upon returning home. My boy dog won’t eat- he won’t even eat a treat. My husband had to fill up the water bowl 3 times upon returning home- we live 5 min from this place. They’re so dehydrated they are having issues using the bathroom. I will never use this place again. Over $500 for a week and this is the experience we got. My dogs are hunting dogs and very resilient- one is still hiding in our room 5 hours later. This place is in an area where we should have gotten updates (we got 0) and been able to stream them. When I told my friends about what we paid and the service we got they were shocked. They recommended other places they use. Extremely dissatisfied.
