Nick Link: I really like this atmosphere here, but it doesn’t really seem like the wait staff or kitchen knows how to deal with large groups. I’m sure it’s great for a date, but I wouldn’t recommend going with a group. All the food was cold and a lot of it wasn’t even right.

Shannon Hardy: I have frequented Sinbads for about two years. Prior to last night, my dining experience had been quite pleasant. As with most restaurants, don't go on a Sunday evening! Being a bit crowded is to be expected. However, there was much to be desired about the service. Items were ordered, but never received, and the lack .of attention at such a notable establishment was uncomfortable to say the least. Better luck to turn this around during a rush.

Nala: Horrible experience! My family and I had dinner at this restaurant last night and the food, service and the atmosphere was terrible. The food was not fresh whatsoever, everything came out lukewarm/room temperature…there was not a single dish that was hot. But that isn’t even the worst part, there were shards of glass in my beverage along with two of my family members (I have videos to show) We informed our waiter Paris as well as the restaurant manager and they did not handle it so well. Paris apologized and offered to bring out more water, the restaurant manager took off $5 of my bill. It was absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend this establishment at all!!!! Terrible terrible terrible!

Lionell Carr: After a morning of fun riding scooters around the city with my wife, we decided grab lunch here. No stranger to Fishbones. I Ordered the sticky wings/fries, gumbo Yaya, and a few cocktails. The atmosphere was great, the bartenders were both awesome. Very knowledgeable, and very accommodating as well. (I'm in a wheelchair) they made sure I was comfortable and taken care of I appreciated that, and hopefully my tip demonstrated that.
A Warren: I ordered the hurricane drink and the chicken cajun pasta and both were delicious! My friends ordered the mussels but they were kinda mid for me.I like they they add gratuity for you (like a lot of restaurants in the area)... it's a meager 15%, but if you like to stiff your waiters, this isn't the place for you. Just stay home or go to McDonald's or something. Idk.

Woodie Anderson: My dinner here was great. The fried alligator was incredible. The orange roughy was perfect. The sides and special sauce so very tasty. My server was absolutely outstanding. The only issue is, I wanted to go back. The second night I tried there was an hour+ wait, long line. Ok, popular, no problem. The third visit there was no line but we were greeted what we all 3 felt was very rudely. While there was no line we were told they were full up. "No, no, no!". We were told 25 minutes or more, but the way we were told scratched this off the list. The 3 of us left and felt like we're just were not wanted there. Very disappointing.
Maddy Brooks: This is one of my favorite places to eat at and I always get great service but last night I tried to take my mom and boyfriend out to dinner around 9:20pm and both entrances were locked which was confusing considering they don’t close until 11. I called them 3 times and each time someone picked up the phone and then hung up. I’m extremely disappointed by that experience and I don’t know if I’ll be back or not.
Laura Henkel: Crab stuffed shrimp was good but the tuna steak was cooked completely inconsistent. We asked to send it back and instead they just took it off our bill. We also never got bread like all the other tables and the waiter left us with empty glasses most of the night. That being said, there's an excellent bakery down the street when you leave here hungry....

Lionell Carr: Terrible experience, will not be returning. We decided to sit at the bar, catch the game and have dinner. I ordered the lobster corndogs, fingerling Potatoes for myself. My wife had the steak, veggie and mash, with cocktails. Wait time was Normal. My corndogs had shells in them, I sent them back, for a new order of them and again shells were in them too. Highly disappointed because I talked about them a week prior with great expectations. They asked did I want to order something else. I absolutely did not want too. Because of food the hiccup, my wife shared her food with me. The wife's food was so so. The steak was over cooked, the tastiest thing were the Mash potatoes. The manager came over, apologized he did credit the bill that was approximately $200. Leaving us with the responsibility of just the drinks. Unfortunately, that was discouraging enough that I will not return. (5/20/23)
Donovan E: Birthday dinner 11/23/22 called for reservations. The lady that answered the phone indicated no reservation required, but please arrive before 8:30 p.m. we were only a mile away. Upon arrival we went directly to the host stand. We were escorted to a table which was far away from everyone else - we inquired why we were sitting away from everyone.The greeter became rude and indicated to be seated in the main part of the restaurant you needed a reservation. Huh wait !! we called 15 mins earlier and was told no reservation required. I requested a manager and after some spirited discussion we were seated at a table in the main part of the restaurant. The greeting/host staff should be replaced. They are rude, unprofessional, unapologetic with zero client skills.The waiter was nice, but slow slow slow- no dishes cleared after use. The entrées were just ok. The entertainment was excellent. What happened to the dress code ? I won't return and cannot recommend this spot

It’s all good but you just expect more for mandatory gratuity and dress code, expensive seafood spot. Waited on our drinks for too long. Average all around. Places like this that were hot in the 90’s need to step up their game. The dress code is ridiculous. If you wanna demand 5 star, then the food, service and decor need to be 5 and it’s a 3 at best.

Just walked up to the table didn't say anything and remove the plates right from in front of us? Mashed potatoes were cold had better steak at Texas Roadhouse way overpriced and definitely overhyped. Dennis Berger: Best seafood you will find anywhere, no exaggeration! My wife and I went for our anniversary celebration. The view of the Detroit River from almost anywhere you sit is delightful. Service was impeccable. We especially appreciated the elevation of the humble white bean to a delectable complimentary appetizer, a Joe Muer tradition. I had the halibut special which included a good size crab cake and a large scallop with vegetables and a delicious sauce. My wife had walleye, also great. Drinks were generous and the deserts amazing. It’s expensive but a good value for what you get.

We made our reservation by phone, spoke to a real person and was not informed of the restaurant policies. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we were unable to sit at our reserved table due to dress code. So we sat in a dark, unappealing lounge. I ordered the crab, I received ONE crab leg. One. Nothing came with the ONE crab leg. I was not offered anything nor was I informed that nothing came with the ONE crab leg. Prices were not posted on the menu and the waiter was unable to answer questions about the price or quantity of food. The ONE crab leg was $75.00 and then the restaurant added an automatic 20% tip. Wow! This was not a very nice experience. There are some poor business practices being implemented at this restaurant.

Morgan: The food was good, I had the sesame tuna and the lemon veggie soup with potato dumplings. The sesame tuna looked just as good as it tasted, it was so filling I needed to take some of it home. The soup was delicious, but I felt the dumplings were a bit bland compared to the soup it was in. Despite being fun and nice our waitress was overall really absent, which I would understand if they were more busy. Our waitress also would leave the table fairly quickly after a check in to see if we needed anything, my boyfriend was gonna order a second beer but by the time he got the first word out she was several tables away. The tin fish were really cool, they had fish tanks by the tables, they also had fish tanks on either side of the bar.

Bridgette Mack: Love this place for seafood. I always get the mussels. It's a little more casual than expected. It's quiet enough to have a conversation and perfect for 5 or more people. The booths are pretty large. (also good for 2 or 1 peeps). They have their own beers which is cool, and also have some gluten free options for drinks. Nay Ive: 3.5 I got the grilled turkey chop dinner with a side of Mac.Pros: turkey chop was tender well seasoned and meaty. I got the mushroom mix on top and wish the mix had a bit more seasoning but we're still well cooked. Bit of bite and no mushiness. Garlic sides where well seasoned as always. I will say after the delivery travel time I wish there was butter on the side.Cons: the Mac and cheese.... y'all. Because I know you normally have good food so this is not what I was expecting. Some how it was wet and dry at the same time. No sauce, no cheese, no flavor. This definitely needs a reworking.
