Lloyd Putman: Gorgeously restored opera house. Wonderful, old architecture. Great acoustics, which is important for any such venue designed for performers to reach their audience. Just a beautiful place to enjoy a performance.And I did say restored. This does mean that you are not getting a memory foam, reclining chair.

richstar77able: Seat rows could be improved by increasing the incline. If someone taller than you sits in front of you, and they have a hair up high in a bun ... You cannot see the stage at all, only top half of it if you lucky. I was in a row L... Two people in front were taller plus the hair...
Ju: Saw Shen Yu here, it was a great show.The Opera House is historic. The event was well organized, the Ushers were very helpful, anywhere you sit it's a great view.

Natalie Furst: We held our kiddo’s 6th birthday party here at Artlab J. We most highly recommend it! Everyone had a fantastic time, with a variety of activities: art, movement, nourishment and sound. Joori is so dynamic and inspiring. The only hiccups were our own, and she pivoted seemingly effortlessly. Best party ever! Our kiddo loved every minute.We also recommend school break day camp! Cannot wait until our toddler can attend as well.
Avery Shelton: We love ArtLab J! Our child really enjoys class here and the staff is amazing! The space is great...we can see ourselves coming here for years to come.
Charles Glidden: I take the adult class. The instructors are dedicated professional and talented. The classes are challenging informative and fun.
B: As a guy completely new to dance, I was a little nervous about starting ballet & contemporary classes. But, artlabj's instructors provided a very inclusive environment where I was able to learn without feeling pressured at all, in an area way outside of my comfort zone. I felt like every student--even the ones with prior dance experience--were able to take something away from every session. Would definitely recommend their adult classes to anyone looking!

Pinup Savi Monroe: This place is very unprofesinal i'm sorry the lady was nice but they were not prepared at all they had no calendars telling u which classes she had no business cards or anything she coulden't even tell me ware to get ballet gear at. then they had no sign up saying the dance studio name i was walking in circles trying to find it. on top of that its moving to another location far from ware i live at and she still didn't tell me the right directions. hot and frusterated.

joe1265: This weekend is the last performance at the "old" Hilberry theater. The Hilberry Gateway opens in February.This was a fun performance by the Wayne State student company. Catch it if you can.
