Aireonna Welch: They are WONDERFUL! The drivers show up on a timely manner and scheduling transport is very easy and convenient. Jason is super nice and comes to the building I work at often and with a smile. Marbella and Bretten and Kacy are super helpful in arranging transportation. What a great company!
Patricia G: No!! Carried my husband out without a gurney or flatboard! One man literally put husband in a 'bear hug' and walked him out. My husband had brain bleeds and fractured neck from fall and that's how they took him out??? Don't even think of sending me a bill!!
Michael Konen: We were forced to pay a portion even thought they were not needed and we did not call. They got paid by our insurance and still said that we had to pay as well or they would take it to a credit agency. Greedy
Darth Invid: My son is a type 1 diabetic and had a early morning low blood sugar that resulted in a seizure. The paramedics that arrived were both highly disrespectful and woefully uncaring and possibly untrained. They didn't do a workup and took a unreliable blood sugar reading. Then talked my son who was barely coherent into not going to the hospital and leaving as fast as possible. I can't believe that the county uses this service as part of the county 911 and I will be making complaints to the commissioners.

Kristie Carino: I had a young lady & young man answer a call for help. The patient is nearly 101 and was suffering from a broken hip. The team was so professional, kind and loving to the patient. I followed the ambulance to the hospital in this crazy time of COVId the team started until I could be with him and they went above and beyond. Thank you for being so kind and professional we can never repay you.
beryl gadson: Just picked up a patient the one in back with patient had No mask. Covid 19 . Can't protect the patient or himself. Don't know who was last one treated .

Kallie Garza: The crews are extremely friendly and are always willing to go above and beyond. I think it's because they all have a passion for helping people.
Josiah Jaster: Anyone but Patriot. Do not work with cash paying patients.
Ron Jaster: ALS charge 10% higher than Swartz and do not come close to the discount Swartz offered for paying cash. I have had experience with several Ambalance services and I will request "anyone but Patriot."

Pat Willson: I'm sure they have saved a lot of people. However, when hired to transport my 86 year old mother, their employees dropped her in the hospital parking lot and caused her to break her collar bone. She needed 2 months in rehab facility to address her injury. Patriot denied all claims and responsibility for her injury. Too bad their service isn't as good as their team of attorneys!!!

Jascha Call: You would think that the largest ambulance company in Michigan would be better trained in life-or-death situations. Not only were the paramedics disgustingly rude and ignorant to proper protocol on getting a child to a facility that can provide him with the proper care, but I hope they know that their actions resulted in him getting so much more unnecessary trauma and damage as well as prolonging his condition. Quite frankly this facility is extremely lucky that we have not taken legal action.
Marie Scentarios: On March 11th I was picked up by medstar on fenton and Atherton rd while I was having a current mental breakdown after leaving a domestic relationship and I want you guys to know you have a wonderful team cause the young lady that was in the back with me was freaking awesome she had me feeling better before I even got to the hospital.
Andrew Call: Picked my son up after having a seizure explained to them his doctors and his case has been with mott they refused to drive him to mott which then led my son to have to be air lifted to mott from hurley very disgusting how when a parent knows what's best for their child that an ems can tell the parent that's not the case and do what they choose.
Crystal Bowers: I'm sad I don't remember the names of the EMT crew that came to help me today. But I want the world to know how amazing they were. I am having a difficult recovery from my tonsilectomy and called due to a serious concern.(kinda graphic so I won't share the details) They arrived and quickly assured both me and my mom that what I was experiencing was absolutely normal. My vitals were checked and after a poke of Zofran and some time to calm down in the rig I was able to return to the house to rest. Obviously I had the option to still be transported to hospital, but I was feeling much better and at ease that I was not in significant or immediate danger. Thank you so much to the crew who came to help me today. I hope you know how much you are appreciated
Steve Sweeney: I am retired from Fire/EMS and have many serious medical issues. I recently took a fall outdoors on 10-15-21, and now found myself being the person who needed the help. The crew that came to help me were very professional, kind, and capable! Their response time was very fast, and their compassion and care were 5 star all the way. Medstar is lucky to have these 2 paramedics representing their company, and we in Davison Township are very lucky to have Medstar Ambulance Thank you for being there when I needed you!

Clifford Stevens: My father was discharged from Genesys Saturday March 20 at 3:20 pm.I get a call from a MEDSTAR transport person at approximately 6:30 pm saying he doesn’t know where Brookdale is. That is my 91 year old fathers care residence. It is about 4 miles from the hospital on the same road. Do these drivers use GPS? Very scary!!!
Michael Hildebrandt: Never been hopefully never will be! Called to say one of their drivers almost killed me on the e-way and all I got was the run around. If you or your family member would like to get to their destination in one peice I would call someone else in a time of need!
Michael L. Steimle: One of their ambulances nearly struck my stationary car, within mere inches of my front-end, as they did a U-Turn in the middle of Silver Lake and Silver Lake Parkway intersection.Really Medstar?!?Just plain old "sad."
Cheryl Crane: My mother was picked @ her home Flint and transported to and from Genesys. The man in the morning treated her like his mother. Very cordial and pleasant. All the EMT workers treated her so kind.They were neat and clean too. She said she never had this nice of experience before! My mom is real thin and sickThey made her feel special and human! The EMT workers who transported her back were very kind too. Thanks for making my mom feel better about herself. .too.

Lisa Wabel: We had 2 wonderful men pick my father up and take him to the hospital a month ago and then fortunately had the same two men pick bring him back to his home in Linden today. I cannot say enough about how well Chris and Andrew handled the transfers. They were friendly and made my dad feel comfortable as well as professional and knowledgeable about how to move him. Our family is very appreciative of both Chris and Andrew!
