Microsoft Learn: Was assured when I placed deposit and made installation appointment that the installation crew would be wearing mask. The appointment was a week later. I called 2 days before install date and again was assured by Scott that they would be wearing mask. When the guys got here they had no mask. They were given 2 brand new mask out the pack by my husband. They took them and said thanks. When in my home we asked why didn’t they have mask on one guy says he has asthma and can’t wear a mask. He stated “but I’m clean.” I called to speak to a manager-Kevin. I was told I could be refunded or rescheduled. If rescheduled it would be 1-2 weeks away. Kevin stated they couldn’t send anyone else. By this time they were already cutting up the carpet in the living room. That is the only room they will be doing because the rest of my house will be carpeted by someone that cares about their customers health. I have children here. Covid-19 is no joke and as a consumer my wishes should be respected. I will never buy from them again!

john lewis: I paid to have flooring installed in my living room,kitchen and hallway.this was to be seamless with no obstruction for my waker or my cane.I paid to have the old carpet and pad removed.but the installers did not remove the old kitchen inlaid.the result was the kitchen is higher than the other rooms.The transition strip is a tripping hazard for me when I have to use my walker or cane.Karens management are ignoring this problem.I live on social security so paying to have the kitchen done right will be hard to do.I could not recommend Karens for any flooring job as their customer service is poor.A unhappy old Marine.One more thing ,their installers did not wear masks at any time or did they ask me if it was ok if they didn't.

Cindy Cox: In the store employees were nice and helpful. I picked out vinyl for a tiny bathroom. When I received my quite it seemed a little pricey but I liked what I picked out. I was utterly shocked how the workers treated me and my house. My house is older and I am updating. Once they tore up old flooring they said my floor was rotted. He basically accused me of knowing it was rotted and I "made out like a bandit" with what I paid. He pretty much insisted I pay more money than what I was initially told. Everything was torn up so I felt like I had no choice. When they removed my toilet they put it in my tub(I didn't realize this until the end). I didn't have an issue with that but they never put anything down in the tub. I have a scratch from where they put the toilet. Where the vinyl was cut looks super jagged and many other issues. I was going to call and complain but at this point there is NOTHING Fogelsongers could do to make it right. I will never use them again.

Llyod Fuller: DO NOT, DO NOT do business with this company, the owner (Sid) is not a man of his word. I had a problem with my carpet that his installers had laid. We made an agreement to have the problem fixed for free or at my expense depending on what his installers determined had caused the problem. Long story short is that after talking with him twice the installers never contacted me and I have never heard back from Sid. I would have still been a customer for life if he would have kept his word and sent the installers out to fix my carpet issue which only would have required a restretch of the carpet. Jo ann Farrand: I recently had LVT installed throughout my entire house by Smith and Smith Carpeting It has not been a good experience.The week prior to the flooring installation, I had my home professionally painted. I painted first so I didn’t have to worry about it getting on my new floors. I was not warned ahead of time that I would need to caulk and paint the quarter-round trim after the installation, including a large gap in the bathroom. I had no idea that I was expected to finish the job, despite hiring them to install the floors.The floor is also not even finished where it meets the back door. They nailed it in place and it came off in less than two days. I called. Someone came out and glued it down. It fell off hours later. I have called them again multiple times and it is still unfished, two months later.I also paid extra for Smith & Smith to move my furniture. There are now dents and chips on my walls (freshly painted, mind you) from them banging furniture into the walls.They also damaged my bathtub. The put the toilet inside of the tub when installing the flooring in the bathroom. My tub has been glazed white years ago; it was originally pink. The glaze was scratched and even scraped off in some areas due to the toilet being placed inside. I called, they came out and sprayed, now my tub looks like it has polka dots.Basically, I have an unfinished floor, unfinished trim, damaged walls, and a damaged bathtub. And they are not responding to my phone calls.

Within 3 years the carpet had seams (full lines) in 3 separate areas and the luxury vinyl floors that were "heavy duty" had seams showing in them as well, along with curling in areas. I called several times and I was finally was told that the "company that they bought those flooring products were out of business and nothing could be done"...very disappointed. They should back not only the products they sell, but their work....and they didn't do either of those....

Karen Bishop: We had been looking for tile and I was thrilled to find Glenn's. They had EXACTLY what I'd been looking for. Tammy offered to get me a sample, saying it would take a few days. One week later I emailed her and again was told it should be a few days & she'd let me know. It is now 10 days later and I have heard nothing. Today, I am purchasing my tile somewhere else. I might love their products, but the customer service turned me off.

Monica Knowles: We did a renovation on our home in and Glenn's did the carpet and tile. It was completed in December. We went with Glenn's because we had been told their tile person was excellent and he was. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for their carpet installation. We selected two carpets, one had a grid and the other had a stripe pattern. The grid carpet was put in our family room and bedrooms. The family room was really the worst, from day one, there was a large wrinkle, the grid wasn't straight, the carpet had space where it met the hardwood floor so you could literally see the floor board and it was very low to the floor around it. In the bedrooms there was a gap where the carpet met the baseboard. I talked with Tammy in January and she came out to see it, her solution was that they could stretch the carpet. Okay, but it didn't solve the problems. She had a representative from the carpet company come out a couple months later who confirmed there wasn't a problem with the carpet. Tammy stood in the family room, acknowledged it didn't look right and said they would stand behind their work, and that they could stretch the carpet again. NOT! Eventually I bought new carpet for the family room from another provider who did a wonderful job installing the new carpet and reinstalling the carpet the Glenn's had put in the bedrooms. Glenn's may have a good price, but I spent almost $16,000 on carpet and tile and could barely get a call back, let alone have them "stand behind" their work. I suspect that wool carpet is not their sweet spot. Whatever the case, our new carpet is perfect, which only confirmed that Glenn's didn't know what they were doing.Fyi, that carpet with the stripe was used on a stairway. The issue with the strip carpet was that they turned it at the bottom of the steps so the stripes on the landing were perpendicular to the steps. I thought I would have that redone when Glenn's corrected the grid carpet, but since Glenn's could only provide reasons why they couldn't fix the carpet, I had that corrected by the new installer and it too looks perfect.

I don't normally write reviews, but Tammy and her staff have done such an exceptional job I feel compelled to write one. Glen's has a great selection of carpet, tile & wood flooring, and back splash tiles. Tammy is so good with design tips and advice on what works best with each room I have renovated, including helping me chose paint colors and granite, and helping me coordinate all aspects of the renovation. The workmen who came to measure and lay the carpet were competent and showed up on time. They even vacuumed before they left. I really appreciate Tammy's friendliness and professionalism. I highly recommend Glenn's Tile and Carpet!

Arlene Cross: Was not happy with the customer service. two days to get an email response to a simple question. quoted me a price on a quartz remnant. when I asked about a dark line, then they wanted me to drive to ohio to look at it and when I said long as its not a crack I will take it. they refused to sell it to me. then I said well lets look at something else. She said I really don't think we have anything in your budget and did not want to help me. budgets are a starting point. ended up going over my budget elsewhere but she didn't want to be bothered helping me is how she made me feel. I felt like pretty woman. "I really don't think we have anything here for you mam"

Agnes Greene: I was amazed at the selection of tile and flooring available. Drove by this place a million times...it was worth the stop! Going back...Didn't find what I was looking for but maybe something better???

David Campbell: Told the saleswoman I needed tile for my kitchen floor and she sold me tile that I found out later is only suitable for walls as it is not hard enough to withstand foot traffic. It cracked easily after it was installed. Stay away from this store and the saleswoman.
