Catie Clark: Mike was super down to earth and willing to play whatever was requested. He was super early to make sure everything was set up and every song for our wedding (i.e ceremony, cake cutting, first dance) was played at the right moment. I would recommend him!

Shannon Coulter: Great job!!! Communication was great, he customizes to whatever your needs. He also showed up well before begin time and started background easy listening music which was awesome! His DJ skills made our party a hit! Will definitely use MT again in the future!!
Nicholas DeWald: Mike and Cathy were super easy to work with and a lot of fun. On top of that they nailed every detail and Mike put on a hell of a show for our wedding. Communication with Craig before the event was great, he helped with design and followed up multiple times to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Black Tie for your next party, wedding, etc. They truly go above and beyond!

Jamie Scribner: Michael was amazing at our wedding in December! Perfectly timed the music to everything going on and always knew what the crowd was looking to hear! He was also willing to get on the dance floor and teach us how to dance to some of the songs when we were lost. Craig was also super helpful with all of the office and admin stuff we had to do to make the night happen. Super happy with everyone's efforts to make the night amazing!
Sandi Munson: We hired them to do a photo booth at our "End of Remodel" celebration at Birch Run Meijer. Kristin was our Event Hero and she was AMAZING!!She was very interactive with our team members and encouraged them to use the booth. Black Tie even went out and got construction themed props for our occasion! Kristin made sure to mingle around with the portable unit and record our "pie-in-the-face" shenanigans during the event! We had a blast and they left us a scrapbook of memories to share with our team!I highly recommend Black Tie and KRISTIN!

He was very flexible when our schedule had to get moved around last second. Had a few hiccups, but nothing I couldn’t look past. We had the floor full before guests had to start leaving and even when it was just our small group left at the end we had a blast dancing!

Kim Secord: I absolutely loved having Black Tie Production as the DJ for our wedding day! DJ Craig was so quick to respond to any questions I had prior to the day and DJ Tony was absolutely phenomenal! Who else can say the older crowd actually stayed just about as late as everyone else and had no complaints?! Happy old people?! I'll take it! Also, he gave my dad a little bit of a speech right before our dance, as he was aware that he was in a serious motorcycle accident 3 months prior to the wedding day, which almost caused us to cancel everything. He made everything smooth and perfect and I had no stress about my day after he took over and made sure everything went perfect!

Avery Carmack: Seriously the BEST in the business! We worked with Black Tie Productions for our August 2022 wedding in the Lansing area. Their consistent communication throughout the planning process was a LIFESAVER. It was such a relief to work with a vendor that was super responsive and had my husband and I's best interest in mind. Our DJ (Tony) was phenomenal. He kept the party on the dance floor all night (and I truly mean ALL NIGHT!), and was highly complimented by several of our guests. He was extremely personable and constantly reminded us that no matter what happens, it's our day. We had a say in almost all of the music that was played and were thrilled with how everything turned out. We cannot recommend Black Tie enough!

Lindsay Lynn: Craig and Tom (our DJ) were absolutely wonderful to work with from initial discussion to our wedding day. Craig is very quick to get back to me with any questions I had and he sent several communications and reminders to fill out the details for the event, make payments and recommendations for key songs. On our Wedding day Tom showed up well in advance to get all set up. We didn't have any issues with the sound or microphones and the volume of the music was perfect for the venue (you didn't have to yell to hear the person next to you). One thing that stood out to me and my husband wasn't even the music, it was that Tom walked up to us several times throughout the evening to ask us we needed anything. I felt like he really cared about making our day special. They are fantastic to work with!

Heather Kale: Their customer service is bar none. They are very responsive when anyone on my team has an issue that causes them to not perform their job duties. If they can't get to an issue they call and make sure that it won't impact workflow and if it does they reprioritize theirs. They educate us on what issues are and help us understand timelines. I appreciate Ben, Jason, Derrick, Brandon and team for helping the Ferris Wheel have a high level of customer services by making sure our internal hardware and software needs are handled. Duane Stone: I took my computer there for updating to Windows 10. I didn’t use it for a couple months and the password expired. I called them for assistance on how to gain access to my PC (due to me not remembering) and was told to call somewhere else their not assisting residential clients. It would have been better if they weren’t able to help me (based on their company policies) or they didn’t know how to just say it, as opposed to turning down my business. This is not the way to gain repeat service!
