Megan is the best in her field, and I could tell that she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in dermatology. What impressed me the most was how well the entire team worked together. The practice is very well-organized, and everyone was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Pinnacle Dermatology to anyone looking for quality dermatological care. Adriane Hall: I’ve had a great experience there in my twenties. Now in my forties this place have changed drastically. I did NOT receive the proper care when I came to this business for help. I was ignored, told we don’t know what it is, it will take time… All those awards posted around the entire place in case any patient want to forget that oh we’re talented. My problem fell on deaf ears and not to mention I was dismissed so carelessly it makes me sick. I was actually in a bad place but as long and they were pumping my insurance company for money I never received the help I needed. I had to beg to be sent out and the problem was more serious than ever. All the awards must be just for show.
Sue Baney: I have been a patient for man, many years, even having worked for McLaren our doctors referred to this outstanding Dermatologist. There is usually a wait, but it is WORTH it! The Office Manager and Staff very professional!! I highly recommend this Dermatology office!!! Sue Baney-Rohl
Bill Norris: I'm very grateful for Dr. Gaffney's care for my skin. He has done an excellent job not only making sure that I got the best treatment, but worked with me to adjust dosages and deliveries so I could travel and treat my skin under many conditions. There is a wait (I normally wait about 30 minutes in the waiting room, rarely longer, but I have waited 60 minutes at one time), but it is worth it. Just bring a book to read or come with a charged phone. I've tried other dermatologists, and Dr. Gaffney, Dr. Karleen, and PA Lauren are fantastic and so worth the wait. My skin is so much better, and I feel much more healthy!
Angela Barnette: Wait time is ridiculous. There were three of us scheduled for the exact same appointment time, no wonder it takes over an hour to be seen. Will not be returning. I will find a new office that respects my time. Not even enough seats for everyone sitting in the waiting room.
Brandie B: Is it true you will wait, on average, over an hour to be called back and probably 1.5 hours to be seen each visit? Yes. But here is the thing, all Dr. Gaffneys patients are willing to wait that long to see him and know going in they will wait. Why? Because he is so worth waiting on.He is Ivy league educated. He remembers you and your conditions. He has so many different things he can do or try to get you relief and he knows what he is talking about! I have a form of eczema that presents weird (rare) and it took me years to find Dr. Gaffney. He diagnosed me on site instantly after at least 3 other dermatologist ran all kinds of testing only to give up and refer me elsewhere.I've also seen doctor Karlene and PA Lauren several times in a pinch when doctor Gaffney wasn't available. Both have always been warm and extremely knowledgeable and where able to help treat my flare ups.If you have a simple case of acne or something small and the idea of waiting over an hour for care seems ridiculous to you, then yeah this isn't the dermatologist office for you. But if you have anything mild to serious, I highly recommend giving them your time. It will be time welll spent.
Debra Clevenger: The outcome is worth the wait. Dr. Gaffney is very knowledgeable and caring. There is a reason for the wait. He is the best and everyone wants the best. I highly recommend this office/doctor.
greg bundy: Severely crowded waiting room. There were as many people standing as there were people seated. Waiting time was 1hour,10 minutes to get to the exam room. I spent 15 minutes in exam room waiting for the doctor and the doctor Spent 5 minutes tops with me. Upon scheduling my next appointment I asked if there was a time when they were less crowded. Receptionist laughed and said to pick a day that I could plan on spending 1 1/2 - 2 hours in the wait room. I told her I would find a new doctor who valued my time like I value theirs.

J B: Distancing wasn't an option. The waiting room sat 10 but had 17 waiting. I waited for 45 minutes after my appointment time until i was called to be seen. I'll be finding a doctor who respects my time and safety.

He also has a great office Manager Wanda Davis❤️ I enjoyed working for Dr Gaffney and Dr Karlene my daughter and myself will not trade Dr G and Dr K for another Dermatologists. Katie Tennyson: I love this place! I had horrible acne so I came here and they immediately put me on accutane. 6 months later I was done and I haven’t had any acne since then. My skin is truly amazing now and I love it! The people here are great and Dr. Gaffney is so good with his patients. Highly recommend this place.

Erin Covert: I have been seeing Dr. Gaffney for 20 years. He is the kindest, most sincere, and patient doctor I have ever had. He completely puts me at ease and has resolved every issue I’ve had (multiple skin cancer issues). There is sometimes a wait, but that’s because he is just as patient with others as he is with you. He’s definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend he and his staff!

Ann Campbell: When I first came back to MI my nieces referred me to Dr Gaffney for "freckle checks". Now that I live in Troy I go to their Sterling Heights office for my annual checks. But I have had to see Dr Gaffney multiple times for moles to be removed and biopsied and twice in the past 12 months to have en-situ melanomas removed - he does all the surgery work. And he has been the best, kindest dermatologist and surgeon I've had. And his surgical nurse Jennifer has been awesome too! They both put me at ease and had great conversations while they were getting ready. I would refer them to anyone looking for a dermatologist!
Madison Atkins: Dr. Gaffney has been so wonderful every time I’ve seen him. He is definitely one of the friendliest doctors that I have been to. The front office staff is extremely friendly, and the nursing staff goes above and beyond to make you more comfortable! Both Dr. and AnnMarie have been so pleasant to work with each time I have seen them, making for a great overall experience!
M B: Gaffney is fine, but there are plenty of good offices in the area that don’t make you wait for 1-2 hours. When doctors overbook their appointments by that much, it shows the patient they’re motivated by money and could care less about the inconvenience to their clientele.

Master of Disaster: I was greeted immediately, and I was taken to the procedure room before I could sit. In the procedure room, I was pleased to find the chair was actually adjustable for tall people like me. Dr Cetner appeared promptly. He is cordial, warm, and professional. He promptly numbed the relevant area and started the procedure as soon as the anesthetic took effect. He is quick and skillful. I was able to leave for an hour while pathology confirmed that he had removed all of the necessary tissue. When I returned, I was again greeted and moved to the procedure room before I could sit. He rapidly sutured the wound, discussed wound care, and sent me on my way. I would recommend him to anyone.

Elnora Thayer: Dr. Jajou and his staff were very friendly and polite. Dr. was very kind in his description of my diagnosis and calmed my fears. His treatment was explained in detail before he proceeded. I will definitely return to him for any other problems and keep him as my personal dermatologist. Pacman Cherveny: This is the absolute worst doctor's office I've ever been to. I'm literally on day 9 of trying to call to get ahold of someone for a refill but you can't get in touch with anyone and if you leave a message, which I've left 5 and my wife left 2, nobody will call you back and if you do ever talk to someone they're at a call center and just try to forward you back to the number that never answers. Dr. Jajou is a nice guy and very helpful but it doesn't matter how good you are if your staff is horrible at their jobs

Vera January: I went to try to get rid of a cyst on my right cheek. I explained that injections hadn't worked before. She didn't listen and injected it with a steroid. Now it is 5 times in size and growing into my eye. She says it's infected and prescribed an antibiotic at 9:30 am this morning. It hasn't been sent to my pharmacy yet. She said she' ll have to send me to a plastic surgeon to have it removed. She could have just told me she was incapable at my 1st appointment and saved me time, pain &, money. At this point I' m going to have to see my eye doctor.
