Anthony Slosar: I have encountered health issues that had recently motivated me to lose weight.Before I visited this center I called and asked for help putting together a diet that would help me lose weight. I explained that I had been a diabetic for a long time (nearly 20 years) and that I had been through numerous diabetic nutrition classes over the years.For the last 4 months I had been following established diabetic diet and exercise guidelines with no results. My latest A1C was 6.9 however my weight had not changed from 265 - a weight I had been at for about 10 years with my daily sugars nearly 300.I was first put in touch with a nurse who apparently had not received information about my needs. The nurse was great and explained several new Continuous Glucose Monitoring Options to me.My next meeting was with the dietitian. She also was not informed of my needs. The dietitian pulled a few copies of diets out of a drawer and put these in front of me. I said that I had seen these before and had been following them (with reduced complexity) for 4 months with no weight loss. She said "there is nothing I can do". Really? Give me a few sheets a paper that can be readily found on the internet? That is all you can do?She spoke with my wife for a few minutes and my wife adapted her suggestions (which was basically that I needed to eat more often) and we went on our way.My point here is that if you are a new diabetic this office is adequate - but anything other than that you can find the same information on the internet.

cathy kuhles: My first time & was pleased, the wait was a little long, but I was treated good. I got lost on my way and made it on time. I’m not crazy about the drive there from Clio, hopefully I won’t have to keep going there.

Jim Boyne: Absolute worst experience. His staff is horrible. Talked to patient like she was stupid and blew off any questions with a condescending response of “Don’t! I am the doctor”. I would not recommend him anyone.

Candi Boyne: Worst experience I have ever had. The office staff and nurses where beyond rude and inconsiderate. Then the doc reprimanded me for asked questions about new medicines he wanted me to take. I asked about side effects and he informed me not to question him that he is the doctor. I wish I had a better option for a diabetes physician.

Johnny Hargrave: I missed 1 appointment and was told I could no longer come to the office - they did not care why I missed.A month later I received a $100 bill for a no-show. I called the office and asked how they could charge me when I was never seen or stepped foot into the office. They said it’s the doctors policy?!?!?I said show me the contract that I signed showing that I agree and accept this policy or drop the charges. After a few minutes of back and forth talk (staff was polite) they dropped the chargesI understand no-shows are not ideal, and I truly felt bad about it but work/life got in the way, but to ban me from being a patient and then try to charge me?!?!? Come on doc! I guess I’m lucky I wasn’t on deaths door and very lucky there are several great doctors in the areaMy recommendation… find a different doctor to work with! Lots of great doctors in the area focused on your health

Dr Mixtape: This was one of the worst medical experiences in my life. I had 3 appointments with this doctor. Each time it took at least one hour to get in the exam room, the least amount of time spent in the office was 2.5 hours - and I only spoke to the doctor for a maximum of ten minutes. The doctor was male, and did not seem to know how to speak directly with a female, listen to the issues I was presenting, or properly address my concerns. When I asked specifically for a hormone to be tested, he refused. During my most recent visit, he would not answer any of my questions, and seemed quite annoyed that I was even asking questions. But he asked me if I needed and prescriptions twice. He seemed overall unconcerned that my symptoms were getting worse not better under his care - and could not get out of the room fast enough. His office staff are rude and uncaring. I was deeply unsatisfied with my level of care at this facility.

Holly Walker: The new front desk staff is rude and disrespectful to patients. Very much disappointed in the way she talks to patients.

Katrina Holley: He is a kind, caring, honestly the best doctor I have ever been to. The staff are helpful too.

Rochelle Wiswell: Dr. Thawani is one o the most insightful doctors that I have experienced! I went into his office with very serious concerns regarding my thyroid and hormones and he insightfully addressed each and every concern I had even before I had the opportunity to ask the question. I am an educated woman that did not really understand the importance of the thyroid in the body and all the different things that it could effect and this wonderful doctor went through each of my issues and has me on the right track! Thank you Dr. Thawani I will recommend you to all my friends and family.

Chris Moore: Poor bedside manor .this is my 31st year taking insulin I'm vigilant when it comes to this disease . I have had a very hard time getting pump treatment renewed with this doctor . I do not recommend
