Seven Messinger: After 5+ years I finally share my experience with Byron. Not only did he discriminate against me for being autistic, but refused to teach me how to drive like the other students in an attempt to "toughen me up." DO NOT let your neurodivergent kids through this horrible service as they will refuse to drive for years after due to trauma. Anytime I asked a specific question I got "figure it out yourself." Other students got answers. I was a minor at the time and cried every time I got home due to his horrible treatment.Edit: He will not know who I am due to my name being changed and I'd like to keep it that way. I fear that man.

Lee Mayo: I took my test today with Instructor Byron. Very clear explanations with directions and expectations. I asked several questions which he answered, even twice. Very calm and professional. With over 25 years of experience, training/testing, they want to put safe, competent drivers on the road. I highly recommend these guys and they know your nervous. That's ok, they know and understand. Take your time, ask questions and take a minute. They want you to succeed. Failures shouldn't mean negative reviews, these guys aren't in it for ego they want good drivers on the road. Thanks Major Driving School.

Codingbutter llc (Jamie Nichols): After filling out the form online and not receiving any response for a few days. So I began calling and leaving voicemail s. This has been 2 weeks and multiple voicemails later and I finally decided to look at the reviews.. Low and behold there have been other similar experiences. Also to respond publicly to a negative experience by saying the customer was rude as if that has anything to do with the actual negative experience. I truly am glad I haven't given this place my business

Kelly Cooper: Very Unprofessional! I called to ask questions. Left a message for someone to call back and recieved a text message. I was told they are unable to call. I left my phone number and specified that I have questions. It should never be the practice of a business to address a customer's questions through text. This is a driving school! Learning to drive is a serious skill and if you teach like handle business then you don't take this matter seriously! I certainly am glad I was shown this type of Unprofessional behavior before I enrolled my child to this school, because I certainly would not want him to learn that it's ok to be lazy with something as serious like driving!

A Wall: I've read a few 1 star reviews and that was far from my experience with Byron. He was accommodating, provided me with several confirmation text prior to my appointment. He gave me ample time to maneuver safely and reminders during the road test. Not sure with the 1 stars are about but I had a smooth process with a calm, and level headed instructor.

Friendly enough to get a quick 60 bucks out of you for not being able to complete the impossible.. I wish I could show the road map of what is expected here..It's not safe by ANY means. I will be filing a complaint with the state on the test that is being given because it doesn't make sense and is not safe by any means. Guys a joke and he knows it..

Deezy: It said Burton but had to go to Fenton, and not only that but failed me because of parallel parking, which I’m pretty sure isn’t required anymore, because of how outdated it became. I’ve asked numerous of people who took their drivers test and almost all of them said they didn’t pass their parallel parking, and they all also told me it wasn’t required anymore in the state of Michigan.(Update) I wouldn’t have known because I wasn’t able to drive at all, I asked if it was the parallel parking that failed me and she said yes

Erin Dunlop: I was wary of using them since there were no reviews, but I had nothing but positive experiences. They were the only place that answered the phone in a timely manner, and the woman I spoke with was very polite and helpful. They were able to get me in the same day since I was leaving at the end of the week for school. The man who tested me, Warren, was very nice and understanding. He helped me feel at ease during the testing, even when a torrential downpour occurred while I was on the highway. I highly recommend them. Plus, they are less expensive than most in the area!

Je'Kyla Vickers: Funny that On The Move has so many positive reviews. They must be from friends and or family members. I recently called to inquire about lessons for my 16 year old daughter. I was told that there was two upcoming classes. It wasn’t a guarantee that I would be able to get my daughter in the first session because at that current moment they weren’t sure about the class size. So they would get back with me to let me know which session my daughter could be in. I was also told at the same time I would have to pay a $100 deposit and text my daughters info in order for that to happen. Which was fine. I texted my daughters name, dob, address and school info and immediately paid the $100 deposit. Knowing the first session had started I assumed she wasn’t going to be in that class after not hearing back from the owner. So I called to see for myself what was going on. I was told that my daughter could have started that day. My first thought was if I paid the deposit and gave the info that was requested why wasn’t I informed about the start date? Due to lack of communication my daughter has missed the first day of class. During this same telephone conversation I was offered two time slots that was available. I chose the morning session due to the time and because my daughter has other obligations. I was informed that one of the classes that week would have a time change because of the instructors availability. Which was ok. I dropped my daughter off at the specific time given to only have my daughter text me moments later to say I needed to come pick her up. The class that was scheduled for that time was for segment 2 my daughter was in segment 1. So I referred back to the text messages that I received to make sure I just didn’t get the time confused. Which I didn’t. Then I was told by the instructor to bring her back later that day at 4 o’clock and also that following Friday’s class time has also been changed. By this time I’ve gotten frustrated because I was upfront and very clear that my daughter had a job and the evening classes would conflict with that. Reason why I opted out of the evening class and decided to put her in the morning class. I’m saying this to say the communication from this company is terrible. With that being said my daughter never returned. After that mixup I instantly found a better company who offered the same service for a better price. I found it very interesting that when I explained to that company what had happened they knew exactly what company I was referring to. I do not recommend On The Move to anyone. I found this company to not be reliable or professional at all. I’m sure they’ve been in business for quite awhile. So they should be more polished and well together by now.

Felicia Copeny: I cannot say enough about Ms. Faye's instruction and testing. I can tell she cares about the children and young adults she trains. Learning how to drive is already a surreal and nerve-wracking experience, so you need to put your child with someone who is compassionate (and not an emotionless drone). Both Ms. Faye and the instructor that administered the test were both caring and compassionate. I took my son to 2 different driver testing businesses before I took him to Faye. He wasn't comfortable with either and failed both tests. These were 2 different businesses who didn't seem to care and had no compassion whatsoever even when my son was visibly upset! This is the only training and testing site I'll recommend from now on. Especially, to people of color. Our children need to be allowed to have feelings and be frustrated too. And they deserve compassion and encouragement (all children deserve that). That is what you'll get here. Faye retrained my son on some things he needed to fix and the next day he passed. I implore you to go to her if you want results!!! Excellent Excellent Excellent service. 10,000 stars!

Nexa Records NSP: Do not come here, Such a waste of time, nothing to do with the assistance lady she’s awesome, but the tester old man was1 hour late and on top of that made me wait 30 mins while he was finishing up another driver just to tell me he couldn’t help me because I didn’t have my insurance on paper which I had pictures on my phone, Racist, bad attitude, laughed about me saying “you waited for nothing” tried rescheduling and no answer from them, I only have 1 day off a week because I work hard for these people to waste my time, do not recommend .

The tester was very informative and spent the time to explain everything ahead of time, as well as things that needed to be worked on. The only reason for the missing star is the parking course is set up a little to close to a snow bank. Overall I believe this is a great company to work with.

Brittany Crossley: I’m shocked with the bad reviews, our experience was amazing. Parallel parking was plenty of space. She was intimidating and straight forward, as she’s supposed to be, but also has this great energy she gives off that helps get the kiddos out of their nervous funk. Not to mention this being my first time as a parent with my daughter and my nerves a little shaken, she was just all around wonderful.

Kinana Abdalla: Patrick was a very good and respectful instructor. He gave great directions and was patient with the driver. Very kind and lighthearted throughout the drive, gave tips after the exam.Secretary was very nice as well. Definitely recommend!!

Super360: DON'T GO HERE. I went here and failed. It was my mistake I take responsibility for that but the older gentleman makes you stupid nervous. I would recommend dynamic testing in burton, Michigan. I switched to dynamic and passed the first time as the guy was very cool and not trying to make you nervous so you make a mistake. The older gentleman is also a condescending guy as well being over critical and rude is just unproffesional.

Maddie Maxwell: the lady who schedules your appointment is super kind and helpful.i had a guy for my exam and he was so nice. it was a complete 180 from when i took my previous test (through a different company) and failed. he gives clear instructions and is super kind. i highly recommend taking your road test here!great experience!
