McLaren Flint - Emergency Department: what do users think?
Jamie Dorotinsky: If I could give zero I would. This is the worst, most disgusting hospital I have ever been to with the rudest staff. I was transferred here for a simple MRI and then put through the wringer for 12 hours to still not have an MRI. I push the call button and no one answers. I had to crawl out of bed in tears due to pain pull my stuff out to flag a nurse down after hours of pressing the call button. They’ve provided no service but will not let me leave until I see a made up neurosurgeon colleague that was supposed to be here first thing this morning. I would never recommend anyone go here and will do everything possible to never come here again. We also just had a male nurse come in here and scream at my father. Tell us we are selfish for wanting to get everything taken care of.
R Smith: Mother who has multiples health issues, I.E.D implant, cerebral accident in the past omg I can go on. She on blood thinners, when entered her room, it looked like a crime scene. No nurses around and mom was bleeding. I work in the medical field, I've worked the some of the best physicians ans I made them GET ON Their JOB. I could go on but it's too much to type. I did make a complaint. Hate to have to go back but this is where her doctors are we're on our way back again. I hope no more issues like this one I just described.
Gregory: What an absolute horrible experience spending 12 + hrs in your ER. When we arrived, we joined maybe 8 patients most of whom were in distress. However, it mattered not to a few of the staff. Just wait your turn they were told. Now, I fully understand the stress of working in these conditions day after day but compassion goes a long way!Our visit was with my 89 y.o. dad who was experiencing chest pains & shortness of breath. He was called back for each individual test over the course of our visit. After waiting hours before another test to be done we asked "will it be soon, he is not doing well and wants to leave.....but he has the IV line in his arm." Her reply, "we can remove that if you want to leave."His final blood draw was done & we were told it would be about 45 mins & we will call you back to go over everything. Right! 2 1/2 hrs later, we received that call back. To get a diagnosis of....shingles. On the "only" bright side, his heart appears to be fine! The rest rooms were absolutely gross! Visible urine on the floor & the stench was unbearable. On the bright side, I told a lady at they desk it needed attention and in 10 mins housekeeping mopped the floor. In closing, we were told they are using a new system that was implemented a few months ago. Newsflash...it's not working!Let's see how long it takes to receive a computer generated response.
Tiffany Rider: I’d give zero stars if I could. My husband had a major hernia repair surgery. He woke up with no pain meds at all. AT ALL. Then they areOpted to offer him Tylenol. After cutting into muscle. When the nurse wheeled him out to my car because I was not allowed to stay in the building during his surgery, she didn’t even help him stand. She shoved the chair to my door, and he fell inside. Fortunately, I deliver groceries and have a dash cam and captured all of this. Our family lawyer was extremely distraught at the treatment when I showed him the footage. She saw him fall inwards, and turned around and walked back in without saying anything. A nurse. Tell me why you consistently employ narcissistic sociopaths for your staff?I’m more than excited to see what non playable character you’re going to have write my generic response and confirm how little you actually care about people.Quitting working at this facility has continued to be one of the best choices I’ve made. I actually turned in my two weeks when one of my coworkers, an RN, refused to use soap to wash his hands in between rooms because it “made his hands too dry.” So, there’s that.
Dorothy Davis-Drurey: Father was brought by ambulance. We sat in the waiting room for hours. Mixing very sick with people posable having heart problems. I could not believe my eyes. I won't come back to this ER.
Alex Deloy: My sister, who has had a double aneurysm burst in the past has part of her stents falling apart or another aneurism in her brain . Was transferred from petoskey hospital to flint yesterday morning. They haven’t let her eat/drink In over 24 hours and have ran 0 tests. And haven’t scheduled anything until tomorrow because it’s a “holiday weekend “Place is full of rude and ignorant staff.Brain injuries aren’t anything to screw with but they don’t seem to care
Jelly Being: I would give zero stars but I can’t. I’ve been here dehydrated and frozen with just a port for over 9 hours. They refuse to give blankets, and are not at all kind when speaking. I have a serious medical emergency and it’s getting worse sitting here. I’m ready to leave. Don’t come here. Some have a port and been sitting half the day. I’m calling insurance company. People sleeping on benches all night with no Dr at all, staff gabbing sitting down in rooms together that yell at you if you ask a question. This place needs to be shut down. The Dr saw me for less than 2 mins and did no exam. Big guy with tattoos (don’t know his name which is why the description) got angry he had to get up and take me for a test. Was rude, and I was made to feel like I didn’t matter at all. It’s a nightmare on that place. And, massive HIPPA laws violated.
Tiiu: Whatever you do, do NOT go to McLaren ER; it is unbelievable how people are treated. Everyone is herded into an overcrowded waiting room. People are sick, obviously in distress, in pain; some are crying, some have literally passed out; some are sleeping. Some are bleeding. People are coughing, there are no safety measures to protect the elderly or vulnerable; the seats are so full that people are put into wheel chairs so close that there was no room to walk through. There is no staff checking on welfare of people waiting. The RN's up front are rude, curt and short when people ask questions. The staff at the desk are rude and angry. I saw many people give up and walk out after 8 + hours wait. No one will answer what they are waiting for and what procedure is to be done. Everyone is sick, scared and vulnerable only to be treated like an inconvenience by McLaren staff. Do NOT go to McLaren; it is a safety hazzard.
Kaile Duncan: I had to bring my spouse in the early morning hours for chest tightness and anxiety. The folks here triaged well and had him checked in, checked out, and medicated in just a few hours. I know they are working with limited resources but they treated us with care and made sure we were feeling at ease.
julie Glutz: Disorganized and inhospitable. The ER waiting room was gross and uncomfortable.
Patricia Richards: I came to the hospital with terrible abdominal pain. I sat in the ER for 7 hours before learning anything, had blood drawn and that was done in the ER waiting room, I was not able to get anything for pain because there was no nurse on duty, and in those 7 hours I never seen a Dr. I sat in the ER waiting room. There were people sleeping on benches, sleeping in wheel chairs, and even on the floor. No one sees a Dr. everything is done in the ER waiting room, and they claim this is a hospital?
Paige Burgess: This is seriously the worst ER Ive ever been too!The staff is chatting around desks instead of working. My mom was transferred from up north for a surgery and I was hoping to get her into Ann arbor because of the reviews and they said we had to come here. The staff is rude and are quick to leave the room when something is needed. I asked multiple people where I could get my mom something to eat and was pretty much ignored. She hasn't eaten at all today and was cleared to eat 4 hours ago. They didn't even her water until now.
Paul Hagerman: I have been in the waiting room for over 5 hours and 30 minutes. People who just came in are going into the back before me. I am not sure who runs this but it needs a better set up. The hospitals in Florida have a 15 minute ER wait.
Lisa Marie Sukup: The worst ER department I’ve ever been to! There is excessive wait times and no staff to help the people in the waiting room. My father kept sliding down his wheelchair and there was no one to help me lift him! I had to have another family member come in to help lift him, and then was told we could only have one family member. There was a lady across from us with a broken L5 that was in so much pain she was vomiting, again no one to help! I would not take my dog to this hospital.
Dyziaa Gallas: Horrible place to take your child. I took my 8 year old son with a fever and Covid 19 to the emergency room and told them what was going on the trauma lady looked at me and said what are we supposed to do. Smh now at over 3 hours in the ER with my poor son sitting here with a horrible headache throwing up and a fever. Extremely dirty!!!! Imagine having Covid and the uncaring inconsiderate staff sits senior citizens and people and oxygen right beside you!! Smh I had to ask people to move away so they wouldn't be infected smh. This seems like the place people come to die. Please try Hurley before coming here.
Laura Miner: Excessive wait time, patients in pain and ignored for hours. Making matters worse, it took just one unprofessional nurse to over shadow the caring registration staff. The entire experience was awful! This is the first and last time my family will come to this hospital emergency room!
Michael Allen: Hot trash hospital sitting in the waiting room for 24 hours
Cary Shiel: I am currently a patient on the 12th floor and have been here for two days, waiting for a mri and having dispute with doctor over pain control.
JJ’s ma Rules too: Horrible experience. Do not go there for care!!
Elizabeth LaCour: Flint has the worst Emergency rooms I have ever seen. Patients sitting in the waiting room 20 hrs waiting to see a Doctor. Guess they no nurses and Doctors but still bill insurance as if you actually saw someone. Wish I could give them a -5.
Lonesome Warrior: Extremely slow, they are running on a very low nurse to patient ratio, they are running about 5 patients per nurse, while the normal ratio is 3 to 1. Other than that, they are very friendly and helpful

Hurley Medical Center Emergency Room: what do users think?
Patrick Patterson: Horrible customer service. Nurses talking about people in the waiting area. They said they the best in the city such as doctors and nurses but you never see them because you still sitting in the waiting room for 4 HOURS! I’m still here waiting. This is horrible!
meg Zombie: If you have no way of transportation do not go to the hospital because they will make you stay there for Over 24 hours no transportation and force you to be trapped there
Miss: I wouldn’t give any stars if I could!!! Worst hospital ever!!!! Doctors and nurses were very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable, my 1 year old was very sick, and they took forever to see him and acted like they didn’t care! Gave us the wrong diagnosis!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!! Never go here.
Olivia Burton: It was a long wait but all the people there were nice and it was super clean and food there was not that good.
Kat Stewart: I have never waited so long for a doctor, we were there in the waiting room for 6 hours, it was 1am by the time we just decided to get up and leave. Absolutely not okay.
Jessica Stewart: My dad received care yesterday evening through today at Hurley, and I want to share some highlights on his quality of care. While the wait was long, this is expected given the staffing shortages many hospitals face and the increased number of patients seeking medical care. I do not fault Hurley for the length of the wait because this is a universal problem, and everyone is doing their best under these circumstances.I first want to hightlight an absoltuely outstanding RN who cared for my dad in the emergency room, Jenna. Jenna’s bedside manner was genuine, empathetic, and caring. Jenna was able to ensure that my dad received the care he needed, while creating a safe space where my dad felt a sense of ease. Jenna also ensured I was comfortable while we waited and offered me a warm blanket and something to drink, checking in often. She even went out of her way to grab me a hot coffee since it was 4 am and the cafeteria was closed. Our stay was long in the ER until he was admitted; however, I felt confident my dad was in the best of hands during this time. Jenna, if you see this, thank you for being such a light by showing true compassion for your patients and a sense of warmth. Your nurturing approach with my dad made the most significant impact on him when he was feeling confused and unsure. Both doctors who treated my dad in the ER were professional and thorough. They ensured they gave my dad the tests and medical care he needed. Our second ER doctor talked with me about my dad's condition and any concerns. They were also wonderful.Once my dad was admitted to the hospital, we switched nurses and had Pete. Pete was kind, compassionate, and attentive to my dad. He offered his hand when my dad became emotional and gave my dad reassurance that he was in a safe space. He was friendly and made my dad feel more comfortable. Thank you, Pete! All of the nursing staff and doctors that we interacted with during his stay were really amazing.Everyone has different experiences at hospitals, and not everything will be perfect; however, I was incredibly moved and impressed by the fantastic care he received from Jenna, Pete, the ER doctors, and other nursing staff.
shaunna hartlerode: I have an uncle there who has been neglected to the point he wanted to stop a treatment the sustains his life. Waiting to hear from patient relations but also going to start letters to the medical board, and how ever high they need to go. Someone needs to be help accountable for the the sheer neglect behavior of theses so called “medical “ professionals
Nicole Robinson: Pregnant with bleeding possible miscarriage and left sitting in waiting room for 7 hours....chairs are the most uncomfortable things ever....just horrible
Evelyn Edder: No compassion for the sick. I came in this morning with dizziness and chest pain barely able to stand and "Noone" (the staff) offered a wheelchair. When called to the back it's obvious my equilibrium was off they let me hold the rail for support. No one cared if i made it in our out. The nurse watched me struggle to walk out back to the waiting area. The staff at the desk laughs loudly and talks about their personal lives. Its sad that Hurley have changed for the worst . This younger generation has no compaSsion for the sick just a paycheck. McClaren will be getting my service.
Debbie Nagayda: Excellent care of our 95 year old father, from the emergency room to the coronary ICU. Staff was top notch.
Heather: Been here 3 hours. Husband. Is puking and having diarrhea. He’s weak and having trouble walking and is in pain. They let people back who were watching videos and laughing! My husband is extremely I’ll and may be having issues with his ulcers but he is somehow falling behind someone who is laughing at videos on their phone. Go elsewhere!!!
Victoria Egan: 1 star for one occasion, 5 stars otherwiseI took my mom to the emergency room because I had a very strong feeling that my mom had suffered from a stroke, had all the signs and symptoms.I listed the symptoms to the lady checking me in, she said "ok,you're listing a bunch of things, but NONE of them have anything to do with a stroke,I'm not sure why you're saying it's a stroke" I said "if you put them all together, yes it does" She sends us to sit down, and we wait 15 HOURS in the emergency room. She had had a stroke and her brain was bleeding.the receptionist (or whatever the position) tried diagnosing her at the front desk and may have prolonged her sitting for 15 hours while her brain was bleeding. Seriously disgusted.
eric jacobs: Went there for mental health. Snowstorm hit and delayed meds in mail so I was without my 6 meds for 4 days and without sleep. They first confused me for a drunk dude and got my name wrong. Just wanted 1 say or emergency meds, go sent home 4 hours later with an Ativan and a thumbs up! Absolutely demeaning towards other patients there(not to me)
timothy wayne: Would give this place zero stars if that was an option. Brought my sister here because she was experiencing very bad vertigo and nausea and couldn’t drive. Spent 11 hours in the waiting room. Never got seen. Staff was unprofessional and kept saying she was priority. This place and staff are a complete joke. You’d get better care at a McDonalds.
Octavia Spiller: I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They put my mother who was a cancer patient on a floor full of COVID patients and caused her to catch COVID. Like I said 0 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
marie Proctor: I've been in the waiting room for 6 hours. I've had a migraine now for 4 days. I just need some migraine medication.
Christopher Van Buren: Hurley staff at the entrance, has no compassion for the visitors! Charity I believe her name is. She should not be helping people entering or leaving. TERRIBLE service 😡!
Natalie Osborne: They just want your moneyI almost never go to the doctor anymore because they just want your moneyI went anyways because I was scared and they told me a bunch of bull and pushed my concerns to the side.I asked if I owed anything and the lady said "no, you're good, your insurance covers it" but here I am a month later with an effing bill in the mail saying I have to pay them. I asked so I could pay right away in cash like a smart person and not have to worry about it. So much for that
Erika Gipson: Verrrrry slow. Hours spent waiting everytime.
The Dude: I waited in the ER for 13 hours with chest pains and stroke level blood pressure. Each time I addressed my issues with desk staff I was dismissed. There's no accountability and nobody seems to know anything. I finally left to seek treatment elsewhere. I'm trying to warn people NOT to seek treatment here. If the ER is that full, close it down! Also pay attention to the friendly corporate spin that is sure to be in the response to this review.
David Lunn: Long Long wait times

Hurley Urgent Care - Main Campus: what do users think?
Niki Strickland: Has x-ray on site. Not super long waits, especially compared to ED. The PAs have all been fantastic so can't complain! This is my preferred urgent care in the Flint area for broken bones.
Michael Stair: Usually pretty fast, with friendly people.
Kayla Buschur: Sat for a good hour before being called to register they called people that came in after and apparently forgot me after takeing my name off the sign in sheet so now I'm behind people who just walked in seriously messed up .
Tom Rose: It's a hospital what do you expect
Emilie Roddy: Got in quick however I went for an x-ray last week the nurse took my x-ray and basically rushed me out of the room not explaining a single thing I had to ask how and when I will get my results. Called yesterday to see if my results came back and was transferred to the physician hung up on so I called again and the phone just rang. I don't understand why I can't just be told my results instead I just have to wait with anxiety.
Nicole Lessaongang: The NP actually listened to what I needed and treated me like a human. She helped me when GHS wouldn't. She cared about my needs and health. 10 out of 10. They are awesome.
Heather: The slowest hospital I’ve ever been to. They have no sense of urgency no compassion.. you can really tell they’re working for a paycheck not because it’s a passion. It’s really ridiculous how slow they are.
Kimberly Butler: So slow. Not even busy. Have been here for two hours and haven’t been seen yet.
Autumn Mcfadden: I usually have no problem with this urgent care but whoever was working the desk tonight before they closed was very nasty and rude
Rachael LMG: This was a good urgent care!! Not nomore!!!!I Don't recommend going here... they don't have a problem leaving anyone waiting for over 3 hrs an keep placing the blame. I left without nothing done to my son but an xray in over 3 hrs. Not friendly ..Not curtious ...Not helpful. Go anywhere else
Asia Titus: Rude and unorganized staff and I mean RUDE! Especially someone named Shania Robertson or something like that. She was mean and nasty as soon as she got back from her break. Sorry hunny, nobody is forcing you to work there 🤷🏼‍♀️. The rooms were so hot I became claustrophobic and my boyfriend was sweating profusely. I tried mentioning it to the staff but was ignored. They also forgot that I was in a room waiting to be seen. Never risk your life seeing these people. Choose a small, home town urgent care where they actually CARE.Edit and message to the "owner": Thanks for that sincere apology on behalf of your ludicrous medical staff. Kinda reminds of when Hurley hospital, which you may or may not own, left me standing in my own fecal matter for an hour while my IV stand was caught in a curtain. I was in the pediatric unit. What a lovely " emergency button" they provided me.DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE AT ANY HURLEY MEDICAL CENTER.
Scott Wheeler: They are awesome people at Hurley Urgent Care with out them I would have been very sick . So to you I say thank 😊 you
Valerie Harris: The staff is very good at what they do.
Ann Brown: This urgent care is very slow I waited for over two hrs to be seen
Mike Peters: Had an an older nurse sneer at me when I asked to see a doctor and tell me they they were closing. This was 9:40 when they close at ten. Inconvenient? Sure, my back injury wasn't particularly convenient for me either. But when Hurley in Grand Blanc sends me to main campus and main campus gives me a sneer and a shrug and ask if I want to come back at 10am, I'm not happy. No service and no concern. It's 9:51 as I post this. They still shouldn't be closed.
Glen Stewart: If you or your loved one has had a stroke, I would NOT recommend Hurley's therapy unit. First, they are overpriced - and insurance will want to move the patient away from Hurley ASAP to manage costs. Second, Hurley management is not communicative about their therapy plan details as the process proceeds, and does not share essential facts. Finally, to protect its image, therapy staff may label the patient "uncooperative" so it seems their lack of effort/success was the patient's fault. This was my experience, and I would go elsewhere for better care next time.
Saed Alnaimat: Covid travel testI came to Hurley Urgent Care only to get Covid-19 PCR test which was required before travel. I had the result within 24 hours. Very smooth process and highly recommended for this purpose.
Victor Debernardi: As an HPMS employee, I was referred for much needed help by Mrs. Napier. Prompt and caring service from MA and PA. Excellent and timely follow up from Ina! It is much appreciated. Thank you. Go Hurley!
Jessica Wilson: I had the best best best experience at the Urgent Care at the Main Campus! The excellent experience began with the friendly security guard at the front door who directed me to the correct door, and it continued through my entire visit. I was checked in immediately and taken right back to a treatment room. I was in and out in a very short time, and the care I received from everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, helpful, and attentive. Before tonight, I had always considered Hurley as the place to go for really serious, specialized situations and I never felt I qualified for that. I understand now that they offer complete and thorough care for all medical situations to anyone who needs it, and they take pride in doing so. A friend of mine told me that, while they might not be the "prettiest" hospital, they are the best hospital. I now definitely agree.
Shelby Badal: Had to take my 14 year old in for an urgent matter. It was very busy and crowded, but we were checked in in 20 minutes. In our room we waited no more than 10 minutes for the PA to come in. She was very amazing with my daughter. She answered questions, asked questions, and eased her mind. Very thorough care from start to finish. The tech completed her ekg while making us feel like family, she was the best I’ve ever encountered and I’ve had several myself. My daughter had one complaint which was the rad tech that completed her chest X-ray, said she was less than friendly and didn’t make her feel comfortable. We were discharged without many answers but the doctor gave us plenty of options and promised to call us after she consulted with the radiologist. Within an hour of being discharged we were contacted with a diagnosis and has antibiotics sent over. I was beyond impressed with the care we received here.Only cons: waiting room and patient room outdated and not clean. Needs updating, but I also am aware this is the old emergency department and is being reused and not left to sit. Check in area needs more than one staff. She was alone and it is not clear what to do. The desk where you sign in is not labeled and the staff is not visible. When we walked in there were about 35 people in this small area, no distancing being abided by. Parking was not easy. The main lot was full. I went across the street and the sign said to press button and wait, nobody every answered or raised the bar. Drove around the block until space opened up before we could park. All in all I still give 5 stars as the service we received outweighs anything slightly negative!
Carlie Broyles: My 7yr old was given a zolfran melt after telling them I suspected she was dehydrated. I also notified them that I was Flu B positive. Over and hour went by, so I went to see if anyone was coming back to check on her and next thing you know they bring her an apple juice... And the Dr says I think she's got some dehydration.... Duh. Never even checked her for flu or got fluids... We were literally forgotten, very disappointing.

McLaren Flint: what do users think?
Lisa Lewis: I went in for preadmission testing. Everything was quick and everyone was friendly
Nadia Biagini: Visiting from Horseshoe Bay Texas, complaining my ears are sore and ringing. Thought it was from flying. Doctor thought it maybe related to allergies. NOPE! Still ringing, hurting especially when laying down. I like to say, the facility was clean, front desk was kind and the Doctor was pleasant. Overall, I wished my EARS would STOP RINGING and HURTING!
Jeremy Henman: Place is a dump, and everything they do takes literally FOREVER.Went to the ER for a couple of tests, and 8 hours later I still have no idea when they're going to be done. This after working an 8 hour shift before I came in, I feel like I'm in jail and they're never gonna let me out. They have a goal of 180 minutes from door to discharge, and I was here for about 3 times longer than that all for them to tell me that it was probably nothing but a muscle strain.
Brandi Carr: Fast and friendly. I went to Fenton er not flint.
Christian Stoinski: This hospital is a joke. My girlfriend came in with chest pains/low breathing. Before ANY TESTING OR OBSERVATION was done the doctor pulled her to the side and said her EKG was good when she never even had one. After we asked the receptionist to double check what that was about, she looked in her computer for my girlfriends name and she couldn’t even find it. I’ll drive 30 minutes to another hospital before we ever come here again. Been to multiple hospitals and this one has easily been the biggest unorganized sh*t show I’ve ever seen.
Amy Hagerman: Great 1st experience here.
Nancy Beecher: The Endoscopy center is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful.Very clean, bright and plenty of seating
Mike Connelly: First off I waited FOREVER TO BE SEEN!! 2NDLY I was misdiagnosed by the attending ER Dr.3rdly , The ER room was full of vagrants sleeping all over the available chairs...That said the nurses were excellent...
Christopher Jenkins: It's not my experience there but my ex-wifes which cant review because she's dead 12 floor horrible staff. Neglect 4 hour after catheter started leaking finally did some. 15 min after yelling she going kill hershelf in a gown she signed herself out
Eunice Keely: My husband had surgery at the surgery center. It was on schedule, very competent nurses. Spoke to doctor, left with complete info and instruction review. Nurse followed up the next day on the phone. We both left feeling with less apprehension,
Sanford Bragman: I was referred by a walk in urgent care facility to the Emergency Unit in Fenton to obtain blood work. I presented to the clerk in the Emergency Unit and gave her the order prepared by the Urgent Care Facility. The Emergency Unit did not seem very busy. After about 30 minutes wait time I was escorted by a nurse to an examination room. The nurse asked why I was there. I advised him that the order from the Urgent Care Facility was given to the intake clerk. He advised that he was not given the order. I explained the reason for my visit and he said he would check with the clerk. He took my vitals and advised me to remove my shoe and socks to allow the physician providing service to examine my foot. I pointed out to the nurse that the bed in the room had soiled sheets and he left. After an hour and a half of no contact I approached an employee who was passing by my now open door room to inquire what was going on? He said he would check. He returned shortly with a copy of my medication list that I had also presented to the clerk upon check in. After about another 20 minutes of no contact, I put my shoes and socks back on and started to leave the facility. As I past the nursing station, the nurse who I had seen was sitting at the desk. He questioned where I was going. I advised that I was leaving in that I had not seen anyone in almost 2 hours since he left and was supposed to have returned to advise me if the order from the Urgent Care had been located. His comment to me as I left was, "You haven't been seen by a doctor?" "We are very busy you know". I LEFT. The worst experience I have had with a medical facility. I have had 40 years of experience working in Multi Hospital Health Care Systems. This particular facility needs a refresher education on proper communication.
Shaun Davis: Very satisfying with service
charlie ross: The following is an email I sent to the supervisor in the area of my stay:Dear Ms. Claxton,I recently spent two days in room 1220, bed 1. I can't tell you how much I appreciated the care I received from the professionals and support staff on the twelfth floor. All were genuinely caring and concerned with my diagnosis and treatment and treated me with dignity and respect. You have developed a true team dynamic and it is very obvious.I would like to give a special acknowledgement to RN's Mellisa and Sheri. Also deserving mention are Dasia and Jen.Thank you for your leadership and the culture you have created.
Mrs Woodley: My friend was alive and well June 2021 he visits that hospital and does August 2021 smh
Riley Simmington: DO NOT go to Mclaren Flint. Fraudulent billing by Briana Corpt, PA for services never received! This hospital is predatory and only sees patients as an avenue for revenue. They will outsource your bill to a 3rd party company and disable you from appealing their fraudulent and predatory billing activities.I was never seen by any medical professional and received no treatment.I am still fighting a $972 medical bill over a year later. In January 2022 I visited Mclaren Hospital in Flint. The ER was a complete mess... filthy with trash everywhere and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days at least.Patients were groaning in suffering pain all around me. My insurance information was quickly gathered by an employee. I waited and waited, in excruciating pain ... 12 hours in fact, never to be seen by any nurse or doctor. I left and went elsewhere to receive treatment.A couple months later, I received a bill for $972. I was billed under Procedure: 99284, which is fraudulent. (I was never treated) Mclaren quickly sold my 'debt' to some company called Degara App, PLLC. Despite appealing the bill multiple times, debt collectors keep calling and threatening me with consequences for my credit score or a lawsuit.Avoid Mclaren Flint at all costs, they are predatory and only see patients as an avenue for cash.
lisa matthews: Nurses need to be re-educated on use of BP cuffs. It should fit snug and firm not cut off circulation or cause patient undue extreme pain which raises BP, thereby not giving an accurate reading. Pre/post op nurses get the extra star.
Martin Burnash: Great heart surgeon (Dr. Hasne). Outstanding nurses and excellent rooms
john. bivins: Professional and caring staff
monica phelps: Everyone was great! I am always nervous and the staff was very patient.
John Pewinski: If you expect to be treated in a timely manner please drive to a different state and get treated there. 16 hours in the waiting room. Staff seems to be busy, not sure if they just don’t have a big enough building. People being treated in the waiting room and just leaving after a long wait.
Cortney McCarty: My grandmother arrived last night around 11pm, via ambulance (as she cannot drive). They diagnosed her with COVID. It is now almost 3pm the following day and my grandmother is in a wheelchair in the waiting room after being told they wanted to admit her to monitor for a few days.I am not angry with the staff. But I do have a bone to pick with Mclaren system for allowing people to be so over-worked and improperly staffed that an elderly woman is left to wait 16 hours from arrival and to be left in a wheelchair unattended! She doesn't walk well, she has COVID and just stick her with all the other people, no big deal, hey?! Thank God my mother is able to spend an entire day sitting with her.Let me make this clear... if ANYTHING happens as a result of this neglect, this will not be the last you hear from me! If she has so much as a red mark from sitting in that wheelchair all day, I will drive the 7 hours from my home, to file my complaint in person. If she can be discharged, then do it. If she can be transferred, make it happen. Otherwise, find her a bed, NOW!

Flushing Road Urgent Care: what do users think?
Norman Delore: I have been going here for years. I have nothing but praises for the staff. They have always been polite and professional with me. Yes, the building is a little run down. Yes, they get busy. what do you expect for a low cost clinic?I'm not there for the building, I'm there for a medical reason. Usually in extreme pain and can barely walk. Typically in and out in less than one hour. If there is a long waiting time, I go to the Dr office next door.
Chanzonmahfeet Ladylo: I am sitting here in the parking lot @1:38 sign say not opening until 2:00 it's 2:01 now it's saying 2:30 you can't leave message it's full we do have urgent care it's important to the patient
Lisha C: Had to get a TB test done for work. This was the quickest, most affordable clinic I've ever been to. Highly recommend. I have such a busy schedule, and the efficiency was greatly appreciated.
Pay pay's tube: Fast friendly people who care
SolidHonor: Receptionists we’re kind, but the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody in the waiting room, and I waited for over an hour to be seen. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is looking for standard tests or check ups; as anywhere else will be faster than here. Only gets 1 star because of the receptionists, but I would give 0 for urgency(when it’s an Urgent care!) and professionalism. Also has water damage bringing down the ceiling tiles near the right side waiting room windows.
J Kilpatrick: Hi 👋🏽 I had to use the Flushing Urgent Care branch twice over the weekend on once on Saturday and again this Monday morning. They were totally crowded and overwhelmed. Especially during this triple threat year of COVID, Flu, and RSV going around. The phone was ringing off the hook. People popping in and out looking to see how many people were waiting to decide whether or not to stay. Howe did a great job getting everyone in and out as quickly as possible.Although it may there may be wait at times… it can clear quickly since a lot of people leave before before they’re called and some people are just there for simple tests, results, or an Rx.
Jessica Matthews: The African American doc there is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional when I came in I heard her speaking about someone’s lashes and how she looked her up on fb.. continuously talked about a patients bad make-up. When she got in the room with me she argued with me about my symptoms and then just walked out. If she is there I won’t stay. Another time she told another lady to take her son to another urgent care she really have a horrible attitude.
Natalee Carnes: The flu isn't a big deal thing anymore. I ain't wearing a mask in a medical facility. You may not like to breathe but I don and won't be smothered.
Elaina Brown: This is the only urgent care I ever chose to go to. They are very helpful, non judgement and understand. Yes it is ghetto but that makes it not as busy as well. I really try to avoid going anywhere else.
Aurbrey Buckley: Ghetto. From the staff to the non caring Doctors there. I go in today because I have sinusitis and my whole face is swollen and hurting. The female behind the desk looks at my sign in sheets and saw that I marked runny nose, then proceeds to tell me that the Doctor is going to call me and give me a prescription over the phone. HOW? I'm not taking any medication if i haven't been seen and you don't really know what's wrong with me. I saidthis is ridiculous and the female behind the counter wanted to tune up. I politely told her I understand you have a policy, but I also have an opinion. I was told a Doctor was going to call me withing the hour. That was 1 hr and 38 minutes ago. Save yourself the trip. Go on up the street to the emergency room. At least it doesn't smell like pee.
Michelle Shimmel: Great staff. Clean facility. Had me and my daughter in and out with answers quickly. Highly recommended.
Brittny Giles: They say their open to 9:00pm but I get there at 8:30pm and all the lights are off, and there is no workers there. If they close at 8:00 or 8:30 the sign should be updated as well as their online profile. It’s very frustration to show up before 9:00pm and it’s closed when gas is over $4 a galloon and I’m driving from across the city. If they close at 8:00 it would be helpful to know . Most places closes at 8:00 pm now, if they do too now that’s fine but the sign say 9
Random Rebecka: Worst place I’ve ever been! Seriously go anywhere else. They don’t care about their patients and are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever met. I wish I could give them zero stars. Please drive the extra 10 minutes to another place.
Maine Don't Care: Won't hesitate to turn you away with your kid and tell you what they not doing until a certain time. I thought health was a priority, I guess not🤷🏿‍♂️
Allan Griggs: Long wait due to very slow nurse
Cheryl Norton: I've never had a bad visit whether there for a family member or myself.
Madeline Unuvar: Please go to any other urgent care in the city. ANY OTHER LOCATION THAN THIS.“Doctor” gets there late and lets patients back up. She prescribed medicine that was for something other than my condition which I would have been fine with if she prescribed the correct ones after my test results came in. She didn’t call back after test results were received. On top of all that, the “doctor” had an attitude and did not take the appointment seriously. Rolling her eyes and giggling. I thought she was racist until I came here and read the same remarks by black women on here too.I’d honestly be surprised at this point if she’s even licensed because this was unlike any service I’ve ever had. I will be reporting her. All around bad service. Please go to the urgent care on Linden Road instead. You won’t regret it.
Novie Perez: If I could give less then one star I would!! This place is so dirty and nasty 🤢🤢 never will go there again
Cindy Pigg: I love how quick this place is and they are very respectful especially if you are in pain! Which I was today!! And the last time I came in! All other urgent cares we're 4 hour wait... This place was no where near that time frame!! I feel bad for the people that don't know about this place! Thank you to the staff that listen to what I'm saying and nice to me at my worst moments!
Viper Miller: This place is a joke. I will be calling my lawyer and the health department and reporting them for malpractice. They told me I did not have a uti so I was scared and got treated as if I had a std/sti they said my urine culture would come back in 5-7 days I asked them to call either way. They never called so I had to call them they told me everything was negative as I'm still having symptoms so I had to go to my family doctor and turns out I have a severe uti now and I'm waiting for my culture's from another doctor to make sure it's nothing else. The nurse was rude because they were under staffed which is not my problem and the doctor lol didn't even look old enough to be q doctor and most definitely was unprofessional I could hear her and her only nurse talking abt me as I was in the rm but they are so "understaffed". Both of these women should not only consider finding a new career they should just do it. I can promise you will be hearing from my attorney or someone from the health department.
Aydın Jaqsi: First time go to this urgent care for my son .No Treatment or any medicine prescription For the sore throat and cough nothing but only go to make COVID-19 test . What is so funny they said by Tylenol for the Sore throat

Hurley Urgent Care - Grand Blanc: what do users think?
Madison Lewis: Terrible wait times and awful organization every time we have come here. Drs are mean to the nurses and assistants, in turn they are stressed and misplace items/tests. Waited 4 hours just to leave without being helped.
Meghan Travis: Slowest urgent care ever. I didn’t even wait this long during Covid. I will never go back.
K. Marie: Rolled my ankle and needed an x-ray, there was only one person ahead of me, and I was able to get seen and get imaging and got my discharge papers in under an hour! Fastest urgent care visit ever! Staff was so nice and sweet, not sure why there’s so many bad reviews.
Samuel Berriman: After making me wait for 3 hours they lost my drug screen and didn't inform me until two weeks later
Eric Frederick: Never made it past the receptionist she had a very bad attitude that she expressed both verbally and with her body language I knew this was not the place for me. I went elsewhere. Reading the reviews now glad I left
Harry Chapman: The worst urgent care I’ve ever been to. From the lady that checks you in to the doctor! Old rude women! Would not recommend anybody to go here!
Katie Schweitzer: Receptionist is terrible. I’ve never met someone more rude, especially to elderly people who are in pain!Edited to say: Serrina is super nice!
Michelle Robins: The receptionist is phenomenal! Very long wait time.
Lisa Hine: Absolutely horrible experience. Went to get my pre-employment drug test today. Showed up at 2 pm and waited two and a half hours to be seen! The people who work here do NOT CARE about the patients. They do not greet you and refuse to acknowledge your presence. The young woman who took my hair for the drug test was not friendly and made no effort to establish rapport. I would never go to this place again. Inept staff who hate their jobs.
Andrew Wilson: Short staffed, long wait times, rude clinical/reception staff, multiple patients were skipped in the waiting room due to the receptionist not entering their information to the system. I arrived at open and waited an hour and a half to even fill out paperwork.
Amanda Ramos: I’m a Healthcare Administrator, with experience in both private and federal practice, and I cannot imagine how this place has remained open. HIPPA violations all over the place, GEMS violations, disregard for CDC guidelines, and not one person seems to care. Been here twice, the first time was not great but I know staff shortages and everyone is entitled to bad days. I can now say this is habitual- the wait is regularly hours long, the care professionals might be qualified but they’re too busy or simply not inclined to care. Not to mention the miserable support staff that hate their jobs and everyone they encounter. Im genuinely sorry for each patient Ive seen walk in these doors and honestly, for these employees who may otherwise not hate their jobs if they worked somewhere else. Though I will not be coming back, I have that option but not everyone does. For those people, I implore you, do better.
john k.: Called to inquire about covid test. Person was nice and answered my questions.. But when I inquired on how long of a wait.. 3 1/2 hours.. I confirmed. 3 1/2 hours before someone could see me.. That is terrible for a Urgent care. AVOID at all cost.
Amanda Daves: Dont go here unless its last resort. Front desk is RUDE, frankly the urgent care/speciality side should probably have more staff to ensure patients are properly being cared for (Because they are not).Soooo disappointed. Wait times are awful, and they don't take you back in order, oh and if you ask to verify you are checked in the front desk will give you a eye roll :)
Jenalyn Olson: Horrible medical experience today. Lady that took my child’s vitals (long dark hair, skull tattoo on back of her hand) said, “Dude, what’s your problem” to my sick 2 year old. She then tried to swab him for strep with her hair hanging in is face. He was crying and she yelled at him. He had a really high fever and she was so mean to him it was heartbreaking. She should not be allowed to work with children. PA Francis was inept at his job, told me 2 year olds couldn’t get strep. My 2 year old tested pos on a strep test at this same establishment 6 weeks ago. The lack of medical knowledge here was scary. Do not visit this urgent care.
Joseph Thomason: Slow, understaffed, long waits, kinda rude!!!
Kesha Fields: The receptionist needs to be trained she is not taking patients in order they arrived she is putting people in over phone before actual in house patients on top of the fact l had an appointment still not checked in after 10min of sitting and was here 15 min early for my appointment. She is coughing with a stuffy nose why is she allowed to work I know that staffing is short but that puts other patients at risk of what she has this is really ridiculous
Juli Smith: Waited an hour and a half plus to pee in a cup, my apt was at 12pm not 2pm, and the lady at the desk doesn't know what she's doing, i had my paperwork faxed over beforehand to get threw fast, i had to call to get it fax again and then she magically found my first fax.
Pattie Jefferies: I went in not feeling well the young lady took us to our room and proceeded to ask me a series of questions. After I already told her I was winded. Then she turns around and yells you need to put your mask up, I don’t want to get sick. So I pulled my mask back up and just like turned the other way. She then snaps again oh so that irritated you? I didn’t answer her so then she proceeds to tell me I can leave if I have an attitude. I asked to speak to her supervisor it took them 30 mins to come talk to me! And basically did nothing to this young lady!
Noelle Hiney: The receptionist acts as if you are bothering her when you come in for an appt. and is more than likely on her phone to which you have to wait for her. She comes off so rude. They are unprofessional and snap at each other in front of clients.I came to get my TB test read on a Sunday at 5:50, I had to have it read by 5:56 and I knew they closed at 6 so I got there early bc of that. They had already closed!!!! Even tho knowing someone had to have their TB test read. Therefore I had to redo it all and pay out of my own pocket bc they decided to close early.Second time I come back, they can't find my paperwork, send me home with the wrong paperwork and have to call me back to give me the correct information.I will never go there again....
noelle gorial: The employees, specifically the medical assistants in back, are extremely friendly!!!
John Mandock: Wait times are way too long I'm tired of waiting there people there are rude that work there

Genesee Urgent Care: what do users think?
George Kelley: I would not return to this place.its a joke, all they want is a copy or money.we was there foe 3 hours and got nothing.the employees are snotty and rude.I will let my family and friends know not to go there.I go to a real Doctor that knows what is going on. George kelley Sharon kelley
William Francis: I went in for a urine drug screen. Everyone there was friendly and efficient. Tiara was extra helpful and professional and I greatly appreciate her for making it a good experience for me. 10/10 would recommend
Norseman Voelker: Very rude there
Heather Markey: The doctor looked up my symptoms on the internet in front of me and my mother and when I asked him if he looked it up he admited to me that yes he did indeed look up what the internet had to say was wrong with me.
Melba Stevenson: Very professional I didn’t one time feel uncomfortable didn’t wait for a long time I was very satisfied and the positive vibes are great I would recommend this urgent care to anybody
Morgan Taverniti: Waited over an hour to even be called up to check in and it wasn’t even busy. I asked if they needed my license or insurance after 35 minutes and they said they would call me up when they were ready. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
Reyqn: Not accessible to queer patients or LGBTQ community members. Find another place if you're either of these. I have given them many chances and told them the correct terminology, unfortunate.
Steven L: Awesome, Joyful staff. Very quick service even with full waiting room!
Dowayne Barnhart: If I could give zero, I would. This place is so disorganized that it's ridiculous. I'm forced to go there because workers comp only deals with this place in my area. You wait forever in waiting room and exam room. They make up every excuse why. At my first appointment I was told to come back in a week but was sick the exact day that a week hit on. So I went the next day. They refused to see my because the person I seen first wasn't there...I needed to see same person because workers comp said so. They said i missed my appointment but yet nobody told me i had one and its only a walk in clinic normally. My worker said I could see anyone within that clinic. Argued with office manager..she told me to call and ask when person would be in. I did so and phone person acted like I was stupid. Went in today for an 11am appointment..was there at 1050am. Had to go up to desk at 1140am to ask why I was still sitting there with an 11am appointment. Front desk person didn't realize it and forgot. Then I get in exam room..another hour I waited. When provider came in I confronted her..she of course said it wasn't her fault and even though I had an appointment I was going to wait because they had walk ins...ridiculous right. The place is dirty...people are obviously rude and don't care but I'm stuck getting subpar Healthcare for a work related injury. On top of it..my provider here said she don't take appointments. Why did manager say to make one then? AVOID THIS PLACE
Andrew Betts: Asked questions and the so called nurse could not answer if they did X Ray
Georgia Jones: Saw Medical Assistant, very polite staff.
Maggie Mesaros: Unorganized and very unprofessional. Do not recommend. How do you loose a patients sign in information?
Cynthia Ono: For a walk in only clinic I didn’t find the wait time too long. I got there around 10AM and everyone that I came across was friendly and professional. Even the other people that were waiting with me seemed pleasant. I will definitely go back again or better yet use the Telehealth.
Amanda Quiroz: Everyone was so kind, patient, and helpful! We got seen fast but weren’t rushed out. This is a place that provides efficient and compassionate care.
Old McMan: No one ever wants to be at the ER or an urgent care. But when you really need one, I prefer this one. The staff are friendly and efficient. The place is clean and welcoming. The physicians seem very knowledgeable and don't waste my time.I would definitely rate this urgent care as superior to others in the are.
Walker Family: This place does not respect the providers. They are rude to one another, MAs calling the provider a “bitch/MF” and she did nothing but chuckle and shrug it off. How rude?! The Site manager shows zero concern for patients having to hear swear words during visit, she says “sorry, I’ll tell my girls to keep it down”. Also talk amongst each other about patient issues. I shouldn’t hear walking across the hall “yeah she here all the time” well that’s your job right ? To take care of people ! One of the worst urgent cares I’ve been to and I only went for a drug screen. Only good thing about this place is that it’s clean. Rude staff, rude management and overall poor company. Be aware of this place unless you don’t mind a zoo for humans. Also Kelly the site manager is a very childish person. She harassed me after I told her I didn’t find her professional. Texting my phone multiple times, trying to have the last word. Just very unprofessional establishment and they pay for everything out of pocket. Kind of sketchy.
Kendal Merrick: Lamonna and Yasmine provided quick and fast service. I will continue to use this Urgent care because they treated me like a customer and not a number in line.
Sharita Johnson: The provider was not only dismissive of my sons symptoms but would not test him for the flu, “because he was negative for covid” went to another Urgent Care and tested positive for it. On top of that tried to complain to KELLY the office manager and she refused to talk to me in private and gave me her phone number. After the phone call I came to the conclusion she spends days in her office covering up for her incompetent providers. AVOID at all cost.Bathroom in waiting room had a foul odor and staff were unpleasant but I would be if I worked there too.
Rick Peterson: Angel was vary caring and patient every time we are there they take care of you
Haily Stevens: This facility is atrocious and absolutely needs an intervention before inevitable legal action is taken upon them. This incident goes above the office manager. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State’s BCHS. Some professionals here need to have their license suspended or revoked, if they even have the licenses and certifications needed to perform some of the duties they have been. I apologize for my vagueness to anyone who is here determining if this is a clinic they should visit. Take this as a sign to find another facility elsewhere who follows the standard legal, medical, and safety procedures.
Robert Hooks: Death trap. Waiting 3 hours no one calling patients. Rude staff I felt like I caught COVID sitting with people coughing all over I was there for minor pain had to leave after noone was being serviced

The Children's Urgent Care Flint: what do users think?
Erika Demetsenare: If I could give zero stars I would I've never been to an urgent care and have sat for over an hour nobody to say sorry about the wait or just a little bit longer.I agree they rude here
Nichole Hampton: My grandson is sick and we are here from out of town. Because he has Medicaid from another state they wouldn't even see him. We were willing to pay cash but they wouldn't see him. He's 6 months old....how can you turn a child down😡😡😡😡
Raechel Brant: Rude staff.
ali ali: Great doctor. Highly recommend. Dr mawri is family oriented. He has a family of his own. He takes care of your kids as if their one of his kids. Didn’t want to take my child to the emergency room so I decided to take him to the urgent care. Best decision I made didn’t have to wait, clean, ( important due to COVID-19) He is now my kids pediatrician. 10/10
Stephen O'Brien: Dr. Mawri's clinic is open 8 to 8 every day, yes 7 days a week. There is no waiting time. He is an awesome pediatrician. I recommend him.
Michelle Turner: Makes you have appointments for urgent needs!!! Why?!
APG: Took my daughter here today and was very impressed by the sincerity of the staff. I was able to make an appointment right away and was in and out within half an hour. Dr. Mawri was really great with my daughter. Will return!
Natalie Underhill: Worst experience ever at an urgent care! They lost my daughters chart so we waited for over an hour PAST OUR APPOINTMENT to be seen. Doc came in, didn't wash his hands before examining my child, gave her antibiotics and steroids, and left. Never told me what he thinks she has, didn't ask if we had questions... This place is a joke.
S Coombs: We've been looking for a good pediatrician in the Flint area for 4 years, and finally we found a great one! A live person answers the phone, and even as a walk-in urgent care patient on a weekend we were in and out in less than an hour for 3 kids-it literally took me the longest to fill out the forms! I'm switching our Primary Care Physician for my kids first thing Monday morning and am so excited about it!
a a: Thorough physical done for my kids. Doctor answered any questions my teenage had. In and out. Friendly staff.
Abdulla A: Great place. Clean and many rooms. Dr Mawri is great with my kids. Definitely recommend
Miar Abuaita: Great Doctor and staff!
Nicole B: Amazing staff and Dr.Mawri is great! They are open everyday, it is so convenient they get you in and out fast.
Julia Ishak: Excellent doctor and staff! They make sure that you are well taken care of. I would definitely recommend others to come to this urgent care!
Tiffany LaFave: Wonderful dr! Never there long either.
Consuelo Flores: Awesome experience and outstanding service! I got a call from my son’s preschool that he has spiked a fever and was not feeling well. My regular pediatrician office is only open half days on Friday. With the flu going around I was wanting to get him to see a doctor asap. I googled urgent care facilities in the area and saw that Dr. Mawri’s was a pediatric urgent care so I went based on that. The facility was clean, the staff from the receptionist all the way to Dr. Mawri was exceptional! They treated not only myself but my son with respect and kindness. They were thorough and I did not feel rushed. They made going to the doctor FUN! I can’t say enough.
Faylyn Mckithen: Hands down the best childrens doctor in our area. He is amazing and the staff is so friendly.
Kelly Eyzaguirre: No line no wait in the waiting in the room. Service excellent and the place was very clean and neat. Just the fact the open 365 is amazing.
Shannon Allison: Went to my local urgent care with a 3 hour wait and hacking adults filling the waiting roomI went to google found the place that I could make a appointment (I hate walk in’s) was seen at my appointment time didn’t feel rushed at all and took great care of my sonIf you need to take your kid to a urgent care this is the placeVery clean office as well
Karmen Orow: Great doctor and staffFast service
Walter P.: Best doctor in town, been taking my son and daughter to him for years and will continue to do so
