Shanean Burke: The new manager is very kind she has a great customer service skills and Leadership skills the stores clean and always stopped the prices have dropped down which we all appreciate and when I say oh I mean consumers for the first time in a long time I was in line prior to this it was hardly anyone coming in the store and she has straightened that store out and turned it around and her employees and her team do a great job at stocking and keeping everything that she knows that her people like which I mean by people us consumers she's doing a wonderful job thank you
Felisa Moore: Very friendly and helpful staff at this location. Update, REALLY do not like having no cart to carry out my purchases to the vehicle! So I HAVE to hope nobody takes my stuff while I take what I possibly can out to my vehicle, unlock, load, relock, rush back and repeat.... I've always made large purchases here for all my household goods plus. Sadly will drive the extra to Dollar General and pay a little extra as well. At least I wont have a panic attack every time I have to go to the store! So sad that it has to be this way...

The store is always neat and I can find things. I feel safe when I come to this Family Dollar. I hope you keep Earl there for a long long time. I like this location way better than the location near Ballenger.

A A: I was at this location last week, and as closing time grew near the employees up front were running their mouths in a derogatory manner about the customers still left in the store. I paid for my items and left. I should have known then, not to bother going back to this location again. I stopped there tonight because I needed one item real quick, and didn't want to go to Walmart. I arrived at 8:42, but when I tried to open the door I found that it was locked, and an employee at the register yelled "we're closed" at the top of her lungs. What happened to the days when stores stayed open until the time that they have publicly listed ? As a consumer, it is very frustrating when an establishment does not abide by the hours they have listed, it can be a great inconvenience. If it happens more than once then I don't go back.

Phoenix Zudell: I've been going to this Family Dollar for years, it's the only place we're all by toilet paper. I started going there in my early 20's to buy all sorts of things. It's not just a store that sells things for a dollar like Dollar Tree It's much MORE than that! They sell goods from dollar shampoo and conditioner to sound bars for your TV or portable to take to the beach! there's so much great merchandise Family Dollar & there are plenty of Family Dollars that have all kinds of great merchandise all around Grand Blanc, Flushing,oo6 Montrose, etc You guys should check it out find one that's close to you and make a day of it you'll be glad you did!
Eric The Explorer: l went into this establishment to look for some basketball shorts just something simple for wearing around the house and to my surprise the store had quite a selection of shorts and they were all under $10. The staff was very courteous and You are in and out the store within 10 minutes. That's if you go and knowing what you want. cashier was very professional and knew exactly how to ring up the items and even knew what to do when my chip on my debit card decided not to work and I still got out of there within 10 minutes. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because it seemed like there was only two employees in the store and they clearly needed more help at the register. there were two registers that could have been man but one person was working in the back and the other on the front. If they had both registers going it would have been ideal. But good job guys!

Erika Alvayero: I walked in on 04/04/2023 around 12pm to pick up some cleaning wipes. I walked through the aisles looking for them. Apparently I made the mistake of carrying a large purse that day and the added mistake of picking up items while shopping. The female employee started to yelling at me. “You can’t bring that bag in here.” I apologized and told her I didn’t know. She then tells me “I saw you stealing and putting things in that bag.” I politely informed her that I did no such thing and that I would gladly let her check my bag. I walked up to the register to present her my bag. She told me to leave. If you feel like getting accused and harassed then this is the store for you. If not, then you should stay clear and stay far away.

The Lady at the registered was very rude and was on the phone all the time , I was in there , she didn't give me my money in my hand , she just put it on the counter , and keep on talking on the phone didn't care about anyone else , and I did ask the other workers about who the manager was , and she said she the manager, and I did say she should know better. I would like to talk to her Manager.

Aaron bronson: Sometimes they open at 8 am, sometimes they open at 11 am, sometimes they close at 8 pm and sometimes they close at 12 pm. Hours are posted on the door but they are completely inaccurate. Usually only 1 register open, even while the manager is standing behind the counter just watching the cashier work, waiting for the cashier to need assistance with returns or other issues. The employees are not friendly, I have even recently been shorted 35 cents because the manager said she didn't wouldn't open a roll of dimes because it made counting the drawer down harder. I no 35 cents is not much but if you take that from multiple customers each day, that 35 cents adds up. They won't let me be 35 cents short so yes it upset me very much!

Margaret Won: I was at cashier to purchase w Hartz dual action topical flea and a container of 4 rolls of toilet paper. The Cashier tried to over charge me. Not charging the listed price for any of these 3 items.I told the cashier it was the wrong price (about $16.00) and they refused and lied to Me. When I mentioned this was the wrong price they had an attitude with me.Thank God I can add it up myself and not be cheated.

Nicole Armstrong: This place was horrible this is also a dollar general now not family dollar. I stood in line for about 10 minutes for one item. Then when I went to check out I did $10 cash back. When the guys drawer opened he said they don't do cash back but since it already went through he'd give me the money this time and told me don't ever do that again. I'm not sure why that was even an option if it's not allowed. If you're afraid of fraud ask for Identification. Very rude and uncomfortable. The entire time I was standing in line the cashier was chatting with other customers about another customer and how he should watch what he does especially in this part of town. Very unprofessional and I will never go back. Nothing they have was worth that awful experience. There is a dollar store on every corner I don't need this place. This place will be closed before you know it. Everyone should avoid this place.

The store closes at 10pm. Then at 9:45 she starts rushing me and my daughter to hurry up and go to the checkout. . The store was very unorganized. Couldn't get down aisles. She was a nasty person with a nasty attitude. Definitely wouldn't have her working for my company and 100% wouldn't have her a manager. Will NEVER go back to that store.

And this place is one of the only stores that still makes sense to me in terms of what stuff cost. People do not do that anymore, work ethic like that is lost on this generation. DIAMOND: Need better customer service. People are rude and it's very small inside.
m. b.: I called the store and asked if they had Anbesol. The young lady stated she didn't know what that was. I kindly informed her it would be in the toothpaste aisle. This item is used for teething or tooth aches. She stated to hold the line and she never returned to the phone. I disconnected the line after waiting 22 minutes. Meanwhile I was able to be entertained with conversation I heard during other customers visits as they were cashed out.

Brigette Davis: I did like this store very much until today I had to make a return of a toaster I bought there. I had my receipt never opened the box because I realized I already had a new toaster never opened before stored away in storage. From the begining the lady was very rude as she called the manager to do the return. Once the manager came she asked have it been opened as you could see the tape seal was never broken after the return was done and I was walking a way. The manager said I was lucky that I didn't open it. I said excuse me if I opened it or not as long as I have my receipt and within my days to return it why do I have to be lucky. Very bad customer service not return freindly they lost my business and I will continue to tell others how I was talked to and treated.

Destiny Lloyd: BEWARE! AGGRESSIVE WORKER!Took a visit to this family dollar last night around 6:30pm and spent about $20. The man at the register handed me $3 worth of items and proceeded to continue with the rest of the customers and gave my things to someone else. When i addressed this issue, he began getting aggressive with me, saying well he doesn't know what to tell me when he was obviously in the wrong. Got disrespectful with me. I asked for the manager and she ran the cameras back she saw exactly what went down and resolved this for me.that man needs to be fired, written up, or some form of discipline. You can't be disrespectful in customer service.He also didn't have a name tag on and his name is not on my receipt.
Aarica Mason: These businesses are so shady. I just came from this location on East 5th Avenue and you can clearly tell something is wrong with the management and the actual facility of this location. I previously bought 2 boxes of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches from this location. When I opened each box, I found that the packaging encasing the sandwiches were a packaging different from the normal packaging that the manufacturer uses including the bottom biscuits were not the same biscuits used by the actual company. Coupled with the other issues in which I have been complaining about concerning this city, this local business is also purposefully putting specific food products on their store shelves that are not up to FDA codes or standards in regard to product, code, and food packaging. The needle in the hay stack is what can make you sick in the future.
Randi Leigh: The staff is super friendly and I've found stuff here I can't find at other Family Dollars. Only complaint, and I'm sure others can agree and it's why it's 4/5 is the parking lot needs redone BADLY.

Tyler Hall: Absolutely terrible experience here. Corporate was called, and the picture of the lady is posted because they want to close 15 minutes early and when she saw the camera she let us in. HORRIBLE customer service. Just absolutely disgraceful customer service. -Being a business owner myself, in my professional opinion everyone in this facility, When I say everyone I mean from this date and time. 9:45 doors were closed, 9:51 was finally let in. They need to/should be fired on the spot. Very unsatisfying, and unwelcoming feeling. No one should have to feel like that when they’re inside of a store that “threatening eerie feeling that they gave us, including a TWO year old. A terrible experience every time. Will never go to this facility again.
MiMi R: Family Dollar is that store you need to go to not necessarily a want to store. The prices are for the average American and that I appreciate. This location was pretty large and pretty busy.
