Sit in the waiting room for 2 hours & he sees your for maybe 3 min and doesn't pay attention to you. Also don't bother asking for a referral to a counselor or psychiatrist he just tells you to Google it. Changing doctors for sure.

Misty Phillips: I had a difficult time with Dr. Almansour because he has no bedside manner. I also dont agree with forcing struggling patients to come in every month for their routine meds, just so you can charge the office call. One particular visit, the Receptionist was very rude. I have been on the Clinical side of the Medical Field for 20 years, half of it in management and that behavior to a patient is unacceptable. Dr. Almansour, blew it off and told me that was normal! When that response shocked me, he said at least they show up for work. I even asked if that is a problem, because I was dumbfounded by his lack of concern. I would never have allowed any of my team members to treat a patient that way. Usually I had the providers at work see me for the more serious concerns because I never once felt I could talk to MY physician. He has never once actually did any kind of exam. When I did try to talk to him about concerns other than my normal 2 medications, it was like my concerns were unheard and unaddressed. I have a very strong clinical background and I can take care of myself on most things, despite having 3 autoimmune diseases and a long list of medical issues, I take 2 medications. The very few times I tried to talk to MY PCP, he wouldn't listen to me or even pretend to be understanding. The last 8 months my life has been completely destroyed and flipped upside down. My "visit" last month, I was melting down from the stress and emotional hell I was going through and asked for a temporary as needed medication to keep me from going over the edge. Mind you, I hate taking meds and only take my Adderall ( been on it most my life for ADD/ADHD) and flexeril at bedtime as needed. But because I have taken the same medication as directed for the last 25 years, I cant get anything for the obvious anxiety attacks I am experiencing. I was so upset that the one person I should be able to turn to with this concern being my PCP, wouldn't help. That is pretty sad and as a Medical Professional myself, it made me sick that any patient in clear distress was blown off by their PCP. In December, we lost 80% of our family income, and cant even afford to go grocery shopping. You would think they would be a little understanding, but NOPE! Been coming there ( my son too), every month for the last 4 years, they have made plenty of money to pay for my 3 hour wait ( yes, EVERY time) for my 6 minute visit ( probably more like 4 min.). I got a large bill and it was only then that I found out my new insurance was only covering $16 of the $120+ office visit, and I was being billed the rest. I agreed to pay on it every month. This agreement was just made last month. My visit happen to be this past Tues. and I didn't get paid until the next morning. I asked if he could just take my debit card number and run it in the morning. He didn't want to do that and reluctantly let me be seen (even my dentist will do it to process the pmt). So as I am checking out, I am given a discharge letter for "failing to keep payment arrangement". Never mind that I tried to have them run it the next morning. Forget the fact that I have been waiting months to be set up with the specialist for an exposure I recieved at work, that could be deadly with having such a compromised immune system. I have only stayed with that office because I dont like change and I tried to keep it simple while I was there. However, NEVER in my 20 year career, have I ever seen a patient be looked at like just a number or $ or be treated so coldly by the physician they are ultimately trusting with their life. Let alone to be that patient who is not even being treated competently, with compassion, understanding or with respect. I work with physicians every day and have great relationships with them. So a physician being that disengaged, unsympathetic, and unprofessional just makes me sick and I am DONE with that mess. The revolving door of employees says a lot too, but you get what you pay for. Find a different physician and dont waste your time or $.

Carrie Phillipson: He doesn't care about anyone but himself. His 'check ups' are a joke. He misdiagnosed my stepmom 4 times. Told her she had swollen glands (without even looking in her throat) and gave her the same antibiotics over the course of a couple months with NO changes. Went to the ER, come to find out she had cancer.I went in a couple years ago with what he called an ear infection, then come to find out, almost a year later I actually had a hole in my ear drum, which he would've known if he had taken the couple seconds it takes to look in my ear. I now have loss about 20% hearing in my ear due to him wasting my time.My dad went to him because of spots on his throat, and Alamansour GLANCED at his throat and said "It's a viral infection." I asked him how he could know that by taking that short of a look, and without running any tests. The only test he did was a strep which came back negative. (We've found out it's not a viral infection, it's something completely different.)His whole demeanor is uncaring like and he doesn't listen to anything you tell him. You wait 40 minutes to see him, then you're out in 10 because he doesn't truly care. All that matters to him is his paycheck. Do NOT take any of your loved ones here.

Attempted to have my medication refilled at the pharmacy to find out that this doctors office denied the request. Called and left a vm, with my name, number (mentioned twice) and the prescription, no call back.I called again today trying to figure out why I had not been contacted. I was told flat out that "You did not call and leave a vm, we would have it here"Pulled up my call history, reverified the phone number, it shows I was on the phone for over 1 minute on the day that I called and left a vm. Inform the receptionist. Her story then changed to "Well there are a couple of things that could have happened, you must not have spoken clearly, or we couldn't understand what you said, or we might have lost it"So wait. You guys train your staff to insinuate that the patient is lieing, then further throw salt in the wound saying oh well you must not speak clearly.Customer service over the phone is my job, it is what I excell at. I have received many compliments at my job in regards to how my phone voice is always clear, understandable, and calming. For her to straight up say that I did not call or my call was unclear I know is a lie.Thank you, but after this I am finding myself yet another Dr. One that actually cares about if their patients have serious withdrawals due to a lack of medication. Good thing I had to drive across the country to a funeral and back while dealing with medication withdrawals due to this offices negligence.Before this? They were great. Just hope you don't have any unforeseen issues rise that conflict with your medication refills.

Mars Shubitowski: After Gomez and Seoane retired the incoming Dr.s and NPs have not been able to provide any quality of care. The staff are nice enough. As someone who works in the health feild I try to be understanding so Im not sure if it is a matter of the work load is too much or what but getting a script refill or referral out of them is agonizing. office visits are well past and hour into two hours. You have to go in monthly if you have maintenance scripts. I gave up on some of my health concerns hoping they didnt get worse because I felt like I was harassing the staff. Im changing my PCP. If you are able to I would suggest looking else where

Steve Young: Dr Gomez was GREAT but retired. The Dr and staff who took over are worthless. Wrong scripts called in, wrong dose, no return calls and the list goes on. The state medical board needs to investigate this asap. He’s screwing with people’s health and his staff is a joke. Every couple weeks it looks like new people and for some reason he can’t keep NP employed. I won’t even get into it about the one nurse telling me she’s having trouble getting her check and she’s had to threaten to leave a couple times if she wasn’t paid on time. Financial issues make sense when your told they couldn’t call you back due to phone problems.

Will Loga: Ever Since Dr Gomez retired this turnkey operation Gomez handed over has been completely dumped upside down on its head with the total incompetence and lack of systems/processes in place is beyond belief!! I have struggled with getting my prescription that I need to take every month and it has taken anywhere from 1-3 weeks after going in for my monthly checkups for my prescription to finally be sent over to my pharmacy. Every month Having to call and call and call with nobody answering the phones and lack of response back from my voicemails left when the Voice-mailbox was not full, had caused me to have to take time off of work in order to make the 52 minute round trip drive to the office on 7-8 occasions in order to request in person that my script be provided is simply ridiculous. I understand that one offs happen, however it has occurred every single month since DR MUHAMMAD AHSAN has taken over. The lack of care and complete negligence has become too much for me to deal with. I would not recommend this practice to any of my friends or loved ones, I would have given this review a “zero” star rating if I was able to as a one star rating is not deserved.

Alissia Martinez: This is not in reference to Dr. Gomez, but rather the new doctor that has taken over. I have switched doctors as Ahsan nearly killed my mother by NOT RENEWING her script. Says his “NP” was supposed to call it in but even when my mother called about it for DAYS, multiple times a day.. this matter was not handled. My poor mom ended up in the hospital and this place is DAMN lucky she made it out alive. She attended a follow-up with the same doc to explain her experience and she also needed her script.. Dr said his NP would call it in at lunch but DIDN’T!!!! I’ll be sure my mother doesn’t return! SHAME ON YOU!!!!! BEWARE of this place!!!!

Mike Hamilton: Had to change my 5 star to a 1 star, when gomez was there it was great, the new physician is horrible taken up to two weeks for my prescription, I've been on my medication for 12+ years same dosage now every month is a different dosage from them. Place is a joke. Office staff is great and try to help but they can only do so much.

Casandra Wheeler: The main physicians at this practice retired, which is fine. However prior to retirement I had an appointment with one of them and the new NP who took over the practice that included a referral to a specialist along with MRI. MRI has been done and sent to specialist but the referral was never sent. I called and asked to send again, they still have not. Now you cannot get though via phone. They are always on lunch, or never turn on their phones and the answering service answers. How are they running this practice without answering the phone? You cannot get ahold of them at all, and I plan to go in person for my referral and I will switch providers because this is absolutely ridiculous and delaying my care. Negligent and unacceptable behavior from a healthcare provider.

ann bradley: I was a patient of Dr. Seoane and my husband Dr. Gomez for over 25 years. I was both super disappointed and yet happy for them that they had retired. We were both very comfortable with them. It would have been nice to have gotten some kind of warning. I'm now struggling with talking with the office workers, they don't seem to want to answer the phone. Happy Retirement to them.

Mr TL: I’ve been going here since my mom brought me when I was 5 and even driving up from Detroit to be seen. Finding out the dr Gomez retired was a bummer but figured you know what? I’ll stick with them. WORST. MISTAKE. EVER! I’ve tired for almost 2 weeks now to get a prescription called into my pharmacy. I can never get ahold of anyone at the nurses station.Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Matt Singer: Dr Wheatley was an awesome and caring doctor. She retired. While I do not blame her one bit, I take MASSIVE issue with the fact that no notice was given. One day it's Dr Wheatley and the next it's Michigan Health Specialists. I find this entirely offensive that zero notification was given. My doctor's office had three doctors retire and not only did they send out a letter, they had an open house to introduce new doctors.In addition to the above mentioned issue, we were unable to get assistance for my mother and her medication due to the fact that we winter in North Carolina. One of her medications is now difficult to get due to it being prescribed off label. We called the office for help and were told she would need to be seen before they could help. I call Bullsh*t. We would not be returning to Michigan until April and this call occurred in January, just after the office magically changed to a whole new company. We decided NOT to return to Michigan, but if we had, I can assure you we would NOT be coming back to this office.

Angela Schunter: Very slow moving, my appointments always take almost 3 hours and most of that is waiting for Dr Wheatly. I feel rushed when I actually do get to see her. She was recently out on sick leave and I needed to see her, they staff told me that she is taking messages and “if and when she feels up to checking them” I would hear back from them/ her. I was supposed to have a tela- health with her and my time was 3:30-4pm didn’t get a call, received a voicemail that was all static and couldn’t depict what it said at 8:30 at night. Considering all these appointments were for a first pregnancy, it didn’t seem like patients are put first. I am absolutely disgusted about all of this. And you would think she’s have a PA filling in for her during her time off. But she didn’t. Sad. I would NOT recommend to anyone!

Casey Broom: I just love Dr. Wheatley. She's very thorough and never makes me feel rushed. She takes her time with every patient and answers all your questions. This does make the wait in her office long but I don't mind since I know she'll spend equally as much time with me. She's a great doctor!

Stevee Perrin: I was fine with Dr. Wheatley up until the time I came in to tell her I was pregnant and needed prenatals. Her reaction was disheartening and discouraging. She said that she would be happier for me if my boyfriend and I were married. She then went on to say that a lot of the times couples don't last through it unless they are married because they can't leave. I feel that at a professional level I should have been treated with the excitement any new mother should feel. Thankfully my very supportive boyfriend reassured me that everything was going to be great! Still blown away and consider this establishment very unprofessional and unsupportive.

Lady D: Dr Wheatley is a very nice and caring person. I have been seeing her for over 10 yrs. I have noticed a decline in the way her office is managed. Very difficult to get anyone to answer the phones, at times very unprofessional. She had PA or Nurse Practitioner helping her, but she is out on leave. I called for a follow-up and there is no one in her office to see patients for two weeks. Looking for a new doctor with a more professional staff and management practices.

Cadenza: My doctor is great, this review is in no way a reflection of her. This review is simply about trying to get a hold of ANYONE in the office lately. I have been trying to call about an urgent matter for the past 2 days since it happened and not a single person has answered the phones. I've sat on hold waiting to be answered for upwards of a half hour. And this is not the only time this has happened. One of the last times I complained about this they said their phones were not great. And it continues to happen and nothing changes with their phones. I'm about to drive up there just to get some freaking help.

Amanda Kenney: I am 24 weeks pregnant and I started out a 166.7 pounds now I am 264 I gained nearly 100 pounds I have been complaining about it every sense I went past 200 I am so uncomfortable and it's harder to get around instead of helping me and doing test to find out why I have gained so much they fudged my weight numbers and said I have been this weight for 2 years. I would advise anyone that wants a good ob doctor not to look for it at this facility

bobotat123: I have nothing but good things to say about this place..Appointments are easy to get, I can talk to someone right away instead of getting an automated system where I have to go through a 5 minute menu only to have to wait in line to speak to an actual person. I have never had to wait for an appointment I've scheduled..staff is very friendly and helpful. And Dr. Naismith is fantastic, very knowledgeable and personable, and if you have questions after your appointment will get back with you within a few hours.

Callum Carr: I was pretty disappointed with my care here, so much so that I am now driving to Ann Arbor to go to the University of Michigan for care. The office staff at McLaren are very nice but there were a lot of problems. My OB left the country for good and no one informed me. This threw my care for a loop. I wasn't able to get any of the necessary medication refilled. I'm struggling with Hyperemesis and with Depression. My previous OB had no problem prescribing me meds to help with this but as soon as he left the practice it was like pulling teeth. I ended up missing MORE work because I couldn't stop vomiting and went through withdrawal over my depression medication. I called and emailed to get scripts filled and never got a response from the office - no email back, no phone calls. I also don't think I ever spent more than 15 minutes with a doctor at any time. They are clearly over worked and the care is just not what it should be at all. I was faced with the decision to continue care 10 mins from my home or go somewhere that I felt safer. So I'll be driving an hour away for care from now on. I know this will complicate my pregnancy and all the logistics related to it but I have to go with my instinct and I just don't trust this office. When I emailed them to express my concerns and tell them I was thinking of transferring care they never responded. They were just done with me at that point apparently. Very disappointed. This is my first pregnancy and I need to feel safe and supported.

Shooler One: I came to this location/practice specifically and ONLY for Dr. Frye. In the beginning of November (7 month pregnant) I was informed I had to do my visit with the available midwife because the doctor was on vacation. They scheduled me back early mid Dec. After having to reschedule because of my riding having the flu, they inform me that Dr. Frye is NO LONGER THERE.Since I've had a c section in the past, and considered a "high risk" the midwife (only other person I've ever seen in the building besides the nurse and Dr. Frye) cannot deliver me, and the soonest I am available to even meet one of the other doctors is when I have less than 3 weeks left to go.They have not done anything to adequately prepare for this extra load on the remaining doctors (was told they see 55 patients a day now instead of normal 35), and do not seem to be prioritizing which patients can get in to see doctor (since I should be seeing a doctor EVERY 2 WEEKS at this point, instead of over a month to a month and a half).I would definitely reconsider another practice, if you wanted Frye, and I am not even sure if I can get into anywhere else at this point in my pregnancy and time of year, insurance-wise. So I feel strong armed at this point to be stuck in a situation, I did not want.

Tacrisha Triplett: I had the most horrific experiments with this clinic and Dr.Annapurna after give me major surgery on a Bartholin cyst she did not give me any anabiotic's in case of infection and very mild medication for swelling and pain I will never attend this womans clinic again I ending up in the er where I was given several anabiotic's and strong pain medication to deal with the horrible enlargement of my vaginal area

Cody Green: Dr. Rostam and Nikki are both AMAZING. After only seeing them one time as a new patient- I called with an urgent issue and they were beyond helpful and actually called another office to get my blood work back faster......told me to go to ER where Dr. Rostam then called and got me the treatment that I needed.Couldn't imagine a better office.
