Madison Polay: Living at the Durant has been the best experience I have had at any apartment complex I have lived in. The property manager is readily available for all questions/concerns and the head of maintenance arrives within a day for any maintenance problems or concerns. They are both extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a great location right downtown, walking distance from several restaurants and the Farmer's Market. It is less than a 5 minute drive from Hurley and less than 10 minutes from McLaren hospital, which is great if you are a healthcare worker. Parking garage is gated (and always functional) and I have never had any security problems. The apartment itself is very nice, spacious and up-to-date. Overall, great experience living here and no complaints.
Abdulaziz Bakheet: Incredible, clean, big windows with views oriented towards the north side and south side as well. It's got everything you need and secure. It's near to the U of M.
Drew Wanley: Just moved into my 1bed room 1 bath apartment at the Durant, I got to say I'm very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the apartment, everything is new and modernized. The maintenence man Derek showed me great hospitality upon my arrival and made me feel very welcome! The leasing agent RJ, was a rock star and walked me through every step of process and has answered all my questions within a timely manner! It's beautiful and I'm very happy! Great environment and the neighbors I met have been real polite and nice! Perfect spot to live if you like going out or enjoying the town at some the resteraunts surrounding the durant! Easily the best apartments around!

Akeibe Hodges: I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and I love it. I’ve never had a issue with any tenants or management. The new property manager RJ is awesome, anytime I have a question about anything I can be sure he’s going to respond back to me in a timely manner. The maintenance man Derrick is always on top of everything, if I need anything fixed or replaced he does it that same day or the next. The layout of the units are beautiful and the view of downtown is amazing. I have no complaints.
Megan Wheeler: Love the building. No other apartments like it in the Flint area. The new management has made a ton of improvements. They are incredibly responsive to questions and concerns.
nadia: I have lived here for almost a year now, and at the beginning we had a working gate. it’s been broken for almost a year and they refuse to fix it. Also, my car has been broken into 3 times in the past 2 months while it was parked in their “gated” and “security protected” parking lot. Not to mention we have to pay to park in a “gated” but actually broken and unprotected parking lot so we can get our stuff stolen and broken into. The building owners refuse to do anything about it, they just sit and watch all the residents here get their stuff stolen and broken into. Please do not live here. I fully regret deciding to live here. The rent is too high for us to have a broken gate and continuous unsafe living conditions.

Benjamin Tuer: I have resided in a 2 bedroom unit on the 4th floor at The Durant for the past 9 months and I could not be happier having the opportunity to live here. I have already decided to renew my 12 month lease for next year. I first discovered The Durant apartments in 2013 through my friend Garrett who lived here while he was going to school across the street at U of M Flint. I couldn't believe how nice his apartment was when I first visited. I have wanted to live here ever since, and thanks to my current work situation, I finally do! The central location just north of downtown, proximity to freeways, amenities, quality of appliances, spacious bathroom and closet, beautiful finishes, luxurious feel, large windows with great city views, and history of the building are all reasons why I feel The Durant is the premier apartment option not only in Flint, but all of Genesee County. I paid about $100 less per month for rent at my previous apartment, but the total value I get here is more than worth it! I also appreciate the general upkeep of the building. The lobby, public restrooms, and hallways are cleaned daily, and anytime there is a quality or maintenance issue, it seems to be resolved fairly quickly. Management has been very professional, tentative to all of my concerns and needs since I have stayed here (of which I have not had many). I would also like to add that the community of tenants here is the best I've experienced at any large apartment complex. If you are a downtowner, or looking for an awesome place that will impress your family and friends, there are not too many places in the area comparable to The Durant. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I am looking forward to staying here as long as I continue renting in the area.
Denny Denny: A wonderful place to live in in downtown. a poor management, Beth is so hungry to two your car without a parking violation stickers notice. A lot of residents are complaining from many issues.... etc.

The lobby is incredible and the finishes in my apartment are so nice and modern. The staff is very helpful and the maintenance team is always a pleasure. Plus the onsite parking is a major perk. Definitely the best apartments in and around downtown Flint.

N G: The Durant used to be a grand luxurious hotel and it shows. The location is perfect in the heart of downtown. The Durant is great, clean, and a safe building to reside in. There is security that circles the building. The rooms are cleaned extremely well when you first move in. The staff are easy to reach and nice. I would recommend leasing at this building.

The Durant community is a peaceful, professional, and comfortable place to live. I love the tranquility and tone of the environment; unlike other apartments in the county, the Durant stands alone in quality. The management is always professional and the staff is always available to assist if problems arise. However, what I like most about this place is my apartment. It's luxurious, accessible to many establishments in the area, and it overlooks downtown; I get to see the sunrise and the sun set.What a wonderful place to live.

L P: I just renewed my lease...I’m heading into my third year at the Durant. I have a 5th floor apartment with a view to the NE. The building is quiet, the lobby is stunning, and my apartment is comfortable. I love the covered parking area. Maintenance has been good. Any issues have been addressed quickly. My favorite feature of the Durant is it’s location. I enjoy living in downtown Flint. I bike/ walk along the river and through the area campuses. I can walk to all the downtown venues and appreciate being centrally located. All in all, living at the Durant has been a positive experience.
Madeline: This place was decent. The apartments are beautiful and very comfortable. The price is not worth it. Flint water bills are some of the highest in this country, and I lived by myself in a one bedroom and was charged almost $120 a month for a water bill. Never went down, never went up. Even if I left for a month my water bill stayed the same. Heat was bad too. All-in-all this place is extremely expensive for not a great area. Homeless people often tried to get in and there is no security to stop that unless you call the police. Also, it is rare if anyone was in the office to help you. Just be aware of this before you move in.
Kris Green: I had my wedding at The Durant this past August 2018. Collene E. the GM for the management company helped make the day absolutely perfect. The catering and full service staff were very nice and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing my guest and I loved it. The Residents at the building were very courteous; they didn't try to "Crash" my wedding and used the back entrance the day of the wedding. The private parking made things safe and easy for everyone. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for a higher end event.

Mahmoud Zaki: I have lived on the 8th floor from 2012 to 2015. It is pretty pricey for the location the apartments are very luxurious but dont jump into signing a deal too quick. The management is there only a fee hours throughout the week. It's in downtown flint, things have been stolen before from the garage and they do not have camera surveillance. Also lots of bums and homeless tend to sleep in between the main entrance in between the doorways. Utilities/ Consumers energy on average isn $300 to $400 a monthly. Especially the 8th floor in particular had higher ceilings than the rest of the building so it coated more to heat for me vs. The 7th and below floors of the Durant building.

Hunter K: THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE! Some of the neighbors were very shady and made me feel unsafe. The basement neighbors complained of bugs. Management seemed nice till I signed a lease. I had the upstairs neighbors plumbing leaking through my ceiling. Couldn't get them to fix it so I stopped paying. They kicked me out and kept my deposit. If you want a nice safe clean place to live keep searching. Would give negative stars if possible

From maintenance, support from the leasing office, safety/security, distance from everything to whatever you can think of: 11/10.- Maintenance responds quick and gets the job done. I've never had to worry about icy sidewalks, unsightly greenery, or things being out of order in my home for long.- Tami and Kelly are amazing and always kept me in the loop with community events. When I needed access to the pool and gym, it was done before I could even remember what I wanted in the first place.- Neighbors are nice and the area is quiet. It is an apartment complex, so noise from the stairs or your neighbors is common, but never loud enough to take away from your day or cause irritation.I am happy that I was able to call Riverwood my comfy abode. If I ever see a need to stay in the area again, Riverwood is #1 at the top of my list.

C H: I was moving in fast, coming in from another state;- They got up at 7am to prepare the apartment for me.- They helped move my massive, heavy bed into my room.- They have been amazingly responsive to everything I have asked for.I cannot be happier in my choice of this apartment. It's spacious, the grounds are cared for, and you can't beat management like that!UPDATE: I have bought my own home and moved out. I got COVID in the move out process which caused me to have to slide my move out date for everyone's safety and they rolled with the punches. I had one issue with my AC and when they couldn't get it immediately fixed, they paid for a portable temp AC until the parts could arrive for my new AC.
Omair Chaudry: Management is great and work with you. I had to move from out of state and they were very accommodating even staying later so I could receive my keys that night. When there is a problem they resolve it quickly.
LBC: Tammy and Kelli are the best! They are knowledgeable and helpful. I’m also glad to see that Jason the maintenance man is back! They are the reason I’m renewing my lease. I also like how quiet and clean they try to keep the property.
Tamera Johnson: I have lived here for two years and haven’t had any bad experiences. Maintenance comes promptly and handles things quickly. I’ve never had a problem with Tami or Kelly. Jason is great, works hard. My only complaint would be that my building’s occupants had two and three cars, and they would always park towards the front, knowing they can only drive one car at a time. I only moved due to job relocation and can only hope my new home has competent staff like Riverwood.
JJ: Had my car broken into multiple times and vandilized. Tammy refused to show me any video footage. Maintenance was unresponsive and rude. Some of the neighbors were rude and harassing. I couldn't wait to move out. I hated this place and avoided going to my apartment whenever possible. Nothing about these apartments are luxury.

All requests and questions were responded to in a prompt manner and every part of the service was first class. She has been very helpful throughout the whole rental process. She really takes care of the tenants very warmly!

Lately, certain neighbors have been harassing her. I noticed myself while visiting her. I would not recommend anyone to move here. I would not move here, if it was the last place in Genesee County.

Pamela Thompson: Residents nice enough. Not too much drama. Manager Neil is only there a few hours per day so if you have a problem, you're pretty well screwed until he comes next day. But he expects you to jump through hoops and be at his beck and call. Halls are dark and smell of cigarettes and weed. Not very secure, entry doors not tightly fitted but residents leave it ajar anyway. If you have no other choice, this is as good as you'll find, but if you have other options, go for those. This place isn't worth $600/mo. 2 stars only because utilities included, but he controls how much heat you can have, electric stove half work, and the in wall air conditioner is a joke.

Jeffrey Garza: 5/5 from me from the last 2 years here. I came in right when they redid this place. Lots of construction going on around here. But the owners do keep putting money back in the property keeping it nice for the folks that live here.
Kenneth Simpson: We've lived here approaching a year, and we love it! The neighborhood is wonderful, and the landscaping is lovely and well-maintained. The maintenance staff members are prompt, amiable, and skilled. The new owners are the best. On any issue, they will collaborate with you. They have positively responded to each and every request and question that has been made of them. Also, they fix any difficulties quickly. Together with some of the other features, we adore the privacy the property provides. As opposed to searching online, I've told many of my friends and acquaintances to look here at the new units they have.
Kevin Richards: The new management has been significantly superior to the old one. Very helpful in answering and resolving issues/questions, really responsive personnel. And extremely promptly is Bill in the maintenance.
Robert Barnett: Apartment building that is tidy, comfortable, and well-kept. Get all the amenities you require and more. They did an excellent job of transitioning from the prior management, and I am extremely happy with their work. I work from home and haven't had any issues.
Henry Oliver: Office is respectful and understanding to concerns. My apartment is neat and new with granite and new appliances. It's just a hop skip and a jump to food and shops. All good so far.

Jacob Gray: Since the start of 2019, I've resided at Lux of Linden. The staff is courteous, accommodating, and reliable regarding office hours. Requests for maintenance are swiftly fulfilled. Email, signage, and other forms of notification are used for communication quite effectively. I really like the apartment's location since it's near many shops without being right in the middle of it. The proximity of the stores, pubs, and restaurants are some additional benefits of living at Lux.
Sesh: Place has been filthy for my whole stay. All the good original tenants were displaced for the renovations and now the workers who are renovating the apartments are occupying empty units and trashing it even more. How is a 1 week old washing machine already covered in filth??? Impossible to get in touch with a real person to voice any of these concerns with as well.
Shirley Salazar: I'm an older tenant that moved into new units...they are very nice for my family and I. Rent is affordable for what your getting. New management has done wonders with this place.
Daniel Lawrence: For my husband and I, Lux Off Linden apartments are a blessing. In less than two weeks after applying, they assisted us in moving in because our previous residence lacked internet connectivity. The procedure was basic and easy. No bugs, no maintenance problems. The front desk staff members are really friendly and considerate. Because they are aware that I am nine months pregnant, they even brought a giant recliner up. I couldn't have asked for a finer spot to reside, being both quite closer to the hospital than where i stayed before.
Bruce Vasquez: The Apartments at the Lux Off Linden is my favorite since it offers new apartments with stainless appliances, granite countertops and new flooring. For the price its hard to beat for brand new units. The staff is really kind, and the units are very elegant, giving you a sort of wow sense. The shops are close by.
Eugene Olson: Lux Off Linden is managed well. Kenny and Bill do a very nice job around here. No complaints 5 OF 5 from me.
Michael Obrien: Really nice apartments... extremely clean and well-kept. The new management is far superior to the previous one. Very well-organized, prompt in their responses, and respectful to the locals. Everything is just how it appears online. Beautiful views and units. Plenty of parking. I have spent a year living here so far and plan to renew my lease with a friend.

Rei Chan: I was here from 2020-2022. This was a rough place to be for the time we were there. They have a serious rodent problem. Within the FIRST TWO WEEKS we spotted something running across the living room. When I read reviews for this place (where some ppl mentioned it as well) I should have skipped over it. It doesn’t help that this complex is by wooded areas. Our concerns were addressed and they did the best they could I suppose, but it only triggered anxiety. It’s a quiet area (for the most part) but some of the children that live out there are just the worst. Climbing on the carports, cursing like grown ppl and playing too close to vehicles. The carports are just falling apart and you can hear the broken parts bang against each other when the wind blows. Also ppl will park in your assigned parking spot. As much as they charge for rent….. I don’t understand why they haven’t had lights be in the parking lot at night!!! It’s incredibly dark and I did not feel safe. I was disappointed to find out that there are ppl who live under you in the townhomes considering the fact that you have a basement. The walls are ridiculously thin so if you have a child(ren) that likes to play, someone will bang on the wall or the floor (their ceiling). Not family friendly at all considering the people who lived under us fought all the dang time and cursed like sailors smh. Had the nerve to bang on our floor but would have domestic disputes in all hrs of the night.. The thing that honestly annoyed me was the fact that you can be charged if they find a package of yours (if it has your name/address on it that you have thrown away) near the dumpster.I thought that was sooooo not fair considering there are ppl who rummaged through the dumpsters and would make a big mess. Kroger carts will magically appear near dumpsters too. I honestly recommend those who can, to just rent a house……. The amount they charge here for townhomes is ridiculous considering how poorly the buildings are. They care a lot about their lawn not being destroyed but the carports are falling apart and band aids are applied inside for repairs. My stress levels went through the roof and YOU HAVE to stay on them to get things taken care of……even if it seems like you’re annoying them. This place served its purpose as shelter honestly until we got a deal for our new home. I mean if you don’t have a choice as to where you can go ……. make sure you get a dog/cat to catch the critters, and hit up Amazon for mouse traps and use peanut butter for bait.
Sister Gabarrah: I wish I never moved here. Ghetto is not the word for this place. I have had a headache since I moved in from the nice nasty old ladies in the office that is in competition with ever beautiful woman that walks in. Hilarious at times but just down right sad. I hate it here. They dont fix things properly or they just forget about you. If you get serious with them they are threatened by you and will give you negative feedback. They dont address your concerns. My tub been peeling since I moved in but if I tell th them that they have a plethora of excuses and I didnt knows to elevate them from blame. Fyi guys they told me they would fix the tub before i moved in. My lease is up in 2 months lmao.. dont move in here sleep at the shelter it just may. E better than wasting your money. I have enough cats at my door not to worry about mice
Marie Alee: I stayed out here from 2020-2021 and when I say this the most ghetto non caring apartments I ever stayed in! The management in the office are rude and always making smart comments, and then they have real bad mold like REAL BAD and they have mice that live inside the walls. I had water bubbles in my walls and the people upstairs was so noisy and the kids out there are horrible please don't let me get started on them. I hate these apartments so bad they just need to get knocked down because they NASTY. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE OUT HERE I REPEAT PLEASE DONT MOVE OUT HERE THANK YOU.
Keisha Keisha: This place was horrible when i lived here that was about 7 yrs ago tho. But im sure not much of an upgrade at all. The apartments is OK thats it nothing more then that. If you live in a 1 bedroom you will be ground level and when you start furnace horrific smell. The cost to live here is wayyyyyyyyyy to expensive and is not worth it for how they are kept up and maintained. They had 2 groundsmen for whole complex then and you barely seen them. Those thats there they had no other option is how feel. For the price you will pay here you can find a beautiful house to rent. I highly DONT RECOMMEND unless its your last resort because you have messed up other places. This is #3 worse in flint. Good Luck.
Letreeka Rowsley: I love Clovertree apts. Ms Lynette makes u feel like u part of a community. The maintenance man in the red car is very nice and gets the job done. All repairs get done that day. And they're making improvements for us to be safer. Wouldn't ask for a better apartment community.

Michigan Cell: Horrible place to live! I recommend never living here. Security is nowhere to be found when your car gets broken into but will lie on you with no proof. Lynnette has the worst attitude and is very messy/unprofessional. Please reconsider if you ever thought about moving out here, I'm saving you from high rent and emotional abuse.

kit Katt: They will not fix anything and the people speak to you as if its your fault the place is falling apart. No lights in parking lot my vehicle has been broken into 3 times this summer. I'm paying for things I cannot use and they give attitude if you say anything about it. I've been waiting since april for them to fix a leaning leaking toilet in main bathroom they put a bandaid on it basically its not in any condition for my kids. Oh yea and my balcony is caving in.

D S: This place is awful!! The staff is rude an UNCARING about your stay their. They don't fix anything an when they do its not fixed correctly. It's just a patch job that will break within a week! The place is littered with trash an don't try to sleep tenets over your head fighting at all hours, kids running around they sound like they are going to break through your ceiling. Drugs are sold EVERYWHERE! No good lighting outside at night, plenty of robberies happen all the time. Almost every restaurant refuse to deliver here because of them being robbed! The parking lot is a joke!! Big potholes everywhere ppl has lots of front end damage due to potholes an in the winter they don't even clear the snow properly. This place is worse than the ghetto in Chicago!!! SMDH... I never thought anyplace could be that bad until I moved here. Oh yeah one more thing BUGS BUGS BUGS ESP BEDBUGS! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY NOR SAFETY!!!

They don't maintain their sidewalks at all during the Winter, When they repair something they just put a band-aid on it, and when you call for something they are very rude, sketchy people walking around all hours of the night, shopping carts laying all over the place, people not parking where they are supposed to, towing peoples vehicles because they didn't move it for a few days, outdated townhouses, every window in them leak horribly. During the winter your furnace will run 24/7, you may or may not get hot water for a shower, trash lined all along the fence, in the parking lot, the lawn, if you have a truck people will use your bed as the garbage if they feel like it, ive never seen such a run down place in my life. Makes the north side look normal

Khade'Ja Hairston: This place is horrible. They will do anything for a penny but won't compensate what you put in. Maintenance sucks!!! Don't let anything fall apart or become broken. They will send some half ass in who probably doesn't know crap about maintenance to so call fix it and make the problem worse. Let me not forget to add they have MICE!!!! Haven't bothered to exterminate and yes the office leaser and manger are aware of the issue. The manager is only giving out mouse stickies to trap them. The parking lot is ridiculous. Full of pot holes. They evicted someone and allowed the crap to sit outside for everyone to see for DAYS. They hired security but where are they when you have underage children in a building they don't live in doing drugs. Or when they climbing the property. Clover Tree is trifling , ghetto, and Unprofessional . Word of advice, spend your money where it is worth it because it definitely is not Clovertree. You will regret it! #GUARANTEED#
