Hyatt Place Flint / Grand Blanc: what do users think?
Bridget Stafford: Excellent choice in the Flint/Grand Blanc area. Clean and modern, with a gorgeous lobby, breakfast area, and bar. Good sized room for an event of 75 or 100 people.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Annie: This is a 2 Star Hotel overall. Our recent stay was subpar and if we are in the area again we won’t stay here. If you’re looking for a place with a nice pool and quality breakfast, I suggest you look elsewhere. Overall, they keep the place clean aside from the pool area which was grossly neglected.Pros- location right off the highway, easy check in, room was clean, common areas were clean. Breakfast area was clean and kept tidy, and there were lots of places to sit and eat. So overall cleanliness was good.Cons- pool water was CLOUDY & NASTY! Heavily heavily chlorinated (beyond what a hotel pool is, bc I know they have higher levels anyway) and gave my 2 year old a rash. Pool deck had trash laying around, sharp pieces of plastic from something that had broken, wet dirty towels lying around, and very minimal seating. Pool towels also ran out, so I had to walk to the front desk dripping wet to ask for one. Noisy, other guests were making noise in the hall until 2am- I believe there was a family reunion or something but it was disrespectful to other guests, and woke us up. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, the quality of the eggs and pancakes could greatly be improved.

Corcova Salt Spa: what do users think?
Michigan Bear Cub Collection: My husband gifted me a spa package for Mother’s Day and I couldn’t have had a better experience. I was warmly greeted, welcomed, and I loved looking at the beautiful design and gorgeous salt lamps! I had a facial with Sherry and a massage with Kat. Both ladies so kind and you can tell they really care about people and prioritize customer service. I felt so refreshed, relaxed, and positive being at this spa surrounded by the Himalayan salt. They have luxurious robes, comfortable sandals, and they give you chocolate. I received a warm neck wrap after my massage. I was pampered, even in the waiting room that had heated lamps for your feet. I was offered water and you can even bring your favorite wine. If you need to indulge in self care, this is a perfect place to start. I am really looking forward to going back and trying more of their services. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience for me!
Dee Flintstone: Booked an appointment for my wife and she couldn't thank me enough even though your spa did all the work. She loved the entire experience from start to finish.
Evonne Szydlowski: Our experience was well above what we expected. Both the Salt Cave and lymphatic massage were relaxing, and we immediately noticed the benefits! A beautiful and tranquil space with friendly and accommodating staff! Highly recommended 6/5 stars! We'll be back for sure!
marybeth Lawton: Amazing amazing. I got a gift card for Christmas and decided to go for a few different appointments yesterday, loved my entire experience!!!! My masseuse was professional and very nice! She did an outstanding job, amazing work and she was young!! I loved all the hot towels and aromas and the music, atmosphere was amazing and so was the massage! Then I got a few waxing services and a reiki treatment and I was blown away! So magical and relaxing! I can't wait to go back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Samantha Leonard: Friendly and welcoming staff. My first salt cave experience was so relaxing. I'd like to try some of the additional services offered as well.
Jacki Northrup: I had a deep tissue massage but received so much more. I will b referring to friends and trying some other service's.
Stacey Wilson: The whole experience was fantastic. From the moment we walked in until we left. Very nice and knowledgeable staff who really took the time to explain the process to us and allowing us to tour your facility.
Darlene Swack: The staff is always wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing. I instantly relax when I enter the building!
Jennifer Komaromi: Very beautiful & relaxing atmosphere. Great variety of services that are all very enjoyable & staff is very kind and professional.
Boss Swag: accomadating and friendly staff who are informative and always asking if you needed anything as you go along which is nice. clean place.reasonable prices. relaxing enviornment with limited interruptions while relaxing and no rush. Services are relaxing and unique and are explained to you so you can pick the ones that are right for you!
Teril Cooper: It was a relaxing experience
Renay Baker: Very disappointed with this spa and pricing and will not recommend to anyone. I booked two 45 minute mineral foot soak with leg and foot scrub, mask and foot oil massage for 70.00 for me and my daughter. When booking this appointment I assumed that we would each have our own tech working on us, each getting pampered for 45 minutes. Wrong! One person took care of us both at the same time which means we didn't get the full 45 minutes each, they split the 45 minutes between us and we still had to pay 70 each! Also we did not get a mask nor oil massage. It was soak feet, salt scrub with light massage and then dried feet off and put lotion on. I tried to speak to the own regarding this but he said they only had one person who did that. I asked why he didn't tell me this on the phone when booking and that I should only pay for one 45 minute session but they declined and said that was the way it was. Very unprofessional. To me it is no different then booking a couples massage and having two therapists working on each of you at the same time.
Helynn Mitchell: The most relaxing thing I ever did. I will be making it part of my self-care each month.
Holly Taylor: Wonderful place and family that runs it! The outside building looks like a warehouse building but once you step through those doors, its a warm and welcoming, beautiful place! They have so many unique options to choose from that you can't find anywhere else in the area. The family that is the staff are warm and inviting and accommodating. The waiting room has salt foot stools and comfy chairs with neck heating pads and water. I had the facial service, salt room, bio mat, etc. all great with very clean environments and comfort items. Already scheduled my next visit!
stephanie collins: Excellent service! People are friendly and helpful, very relaxing environment!
Laura Hall: So relaxing, super friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere. We'll be back!
Catherine Sundwick: My reiki session was rejuvenating and calming. I followed up with the salt cave and felt even more relaxed. Every time I have been here it's been a wonderful experience; from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave. The staff is always so friendly and the ambience is serene. I would highly recommend Corcova Salt Spa!!
Chakara Wheeler: The service is amazing at Corcova Salt Spa. There are so many options for self care and rejuvenation. Corcova is the best salt spa experience!
Andrew Dymond: Very clean facility. Staff extremely polite. Will be returning. Salt cave is beautiful. See you again soon.
Val Evans: Beautiful tranquil environment! I love it
Amy Eaton: Just have my first foot detox. Taylor was great. Looking forward to treating myself again.

Cissy: We have stayed at several hotels in the last few months. We have been mostly revolted at state of the pools, the overly packed facilities, and general unkempt state of several chains. This Hampton was refreshing and restored our hope in hotels. The pool was clean, had plentiful towels, and was nicely appointed. The staff was friendly, helpful and expedient. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. I already like this chain, but this one was extra good.

Residence Inn by Marriott Flint Grand Blanc: what do users think?
drifter1chance: We currently booked a king studio room in advance, but was told when we got there that they don't have any available. We were told by staff that we get an upgrade free of charge for another room with a king bed only to find out, it was only a queen. Smdh. Not ever have I heard of daily parking charges either so we had to pay before even getting our room. Pool is not listed on amenities, but they do have a pool. The pool area does not have any accessible towels for use at all period. We were told we have to bring our own from home or switch out the 2 towels that were provided from our room for use. We were not offer any additional towels although we were a family of 4. (2 adults, a 2 yr old and 6 yr old.) Room carpets are dirty. Sofa bed couch is dirty. All dishes and silverware were not put back properly and found in dishwasher. Things that are broken are not fix. Why? Microwave handle was broken. Mirror closet door in bathroom was out of place and will fall if open. Shampoo bottle is out of place and not glued to where it should be. Bathroom sink drains are clogged and goes down slow. Only allowed one toilet paper roll. Bathroom fan is loud and annoying. First and last time booking from this hotel.
Charles Phillips: Took an escort here and cheated on my Beautiful wife. She found out.
Kyle Martin: This place is cool other than getting robbed by the employees, specifically the supervisor
james lawson: I, along with my sister, stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Flint, Michigan. When we checked in at the front desk, we were given the room 131. Walking into the room we felt that the air conditioning wasn’t working on the over 80 degrees day. My sister called the front desk and we were given another room. I went to the front desk to exchange room keys, the young lady that checked us in said the thermostat was on emergency and that why the AC wasn’t working. My sister and I went to the new room(226) and that room had no AC and the thermostat was at 86. I went back to the front desk and when I told the same young lady the problem, she said I didn’t know how to work a thermostat and that “emergency” was between the on and off switch and she knew the AC worked in that room. I asked for maintenance to come to the room and the young lady said they couldn’t come until the next day. My sister went back to the desk and a maintenance man was there. He came to our room and said the AC didn’t work. THE MAINTENANCE MAN CAME BACK TO OUR ROOM WITH KEYS TO A ROOM WITH WORKING AC!!! Marriott Residence Inn in Flint, Michigan is not the hotel stay in!
Cody Marston: The dirtiest Marriott I've ever been to or seenRooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Jessica Romanowski: I booked this thinking it would be great as it had 2 separate bedrooms. I was disgusted when I walked into the room. It was very dirty. I felt dirty just standing in the room.I had to say hello several times when I first checked in before anyone appeared. I checked in, went to the room on my way it smelled like cigarette smoke. I went in the room and it was soo gross. I can't believe how much is being charged to stay here. I went immediately and said that I refuse to stay there and got a refund. I thought there would be a standard that Marriott would have upheld for their properties. Apparently this is not the case. For $30 more I stayed at the Hampton Inn it was beautiful and clean.Rooms: Soo dirty and gross. Do not stay here. The couch was red at one point and it was soo dirty and almost black. 🤢 I have a 20 month old daughter and I couldn't imagine her touching anything in that room, let alone sleeping in it.
Kristie Guadiano: Horrible people and Terrible service definitely would not stay here again
Suleng Patrick: If I could give zero stars I would. How are the owners of this establishment okay with renting out hotel rooms that contain an excessive amount of body fluid on the furniture. Not only is that trifling, but that is a biohazard to public health. Would you be comfortable with sleeping on a couch with blood on it? SMH.
Elizabeth Hall: Outside door to hotel brokenStairs were very worn and stainedPool area was dirty and pool was dirtyToilet was extremely dirty under the rim- black all the way aroundFrench fries on chairs in roomStains on couch cousins 40%Two large stains on carpet on floorBathroom floor was not moppedFridge was clean but door and freezer door was all rustedUnder bed mattress - cleanno duvet cover just a flat sheet on top and it had about a two foot stain on it (white sheet- water mark stain)Marriott needs to pull it together.

Dennis Weiler: Room was nice and spacious, but pricey. Only one washcloth, no bath mat, no small toiletries. They required a $20 deposit for "incidentals" which included $10 for parking which was not refunded. Let me repeat - there was a $10 charge for parking - in their lot - at the hotel we were staying in! WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?!!
Keith Aubuchon: Used to stay here alot. This place is an absolute DUMP now, don't even think about staying here. I'm Marriott Titanium Elite and have stayed all over the world in Marriott and this is one of their worst hotels. Asked 3 times for room service in last 6 days and no one shows up, ever. Desk clerk was outside with her boyfriend in the car and finally came back in after I waited 10 minutes. She told me laundry room was all the way to other end of hotel and when I wen there, everything was broken. I went back to her and she said "oh yeah, al washers are broken." I asked why she sent me there. DO NOT EVER THINK about staying here, Marriott should sell this to Motel 6 or some place like that.
Kevin Smith: Perhaps the worst Marriott property I've stayed in. No linens for couch bed. No coffee maker (although there was coffee), security door to floor broken, one small trashcan. Not up to Marriott's standards.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Noah Whitfill: It was late and I gave it a chance but....This place is an absolute dump! ZERO stars. The front desk employees are extremely unprofessional. It seems like this company will hire anyone off the street and literally not train them! When I got there they under charged me by mistake...after trying to correct the situation they then OVER charged me a very large sum of money by mistake! So incompetent! I went to inspect the rooms....gross! All of the furniture is literally falling apart and the entire room smelled of urine! Who ever owns this place lacks integrity and self respect because there was trash everywhere in the parking lot and in near the front entrance. If you look at this hotel the outside does match the inside. Just drive away and go somewhere else.
Asa Frith: Definitely one of the cleaner Baymont Hotels I've stayed at.Nearby activities: A very kid friendly town! I would highly recommend the Arts Museum and the Planetarium!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Kyle LeSure: It seems this place has a bad rep with some of the reviews but the hotel is nice. Nice staff, room was clean. Probably one of nicer hotels in Flint.
Stayc Jeffers: 5 stars for hot water! Rooms need to be updated old marked up furniture with chunks of wood missing and a chair from the 70's with that much dust accumulated on it... layers of caulk around jacuzzi and wall paper peeling off... smoke alarm was hanging down by wires and the extra lock was hanging off the door by one screw... ceiling fan about to fall off inches of dust on it... was surprised they get almost $200 a night for that
SheriLynn Downey: Disgusting gross Do Not Stay HereRooms: Someone urinated on the floor. It was dried up and still there. The telephone had no numbersYou could not see out the windows.Dead bugs in the bathroom stuck to the tubSEE PICTURES

Rob Latimer: Caution! Stay away. This hotel has been worn out and is still in service. The rates may be ok but the real story begins: I was away at a party and recieved a call from the manager at 12:47 a.m. saying I have something in my room that I can't have. When I arrive the manager asked to see my ID and said that they had a smoking complaint on our floor. They entered our room while we were gone and went through our bags and found our legally owned and carried pistol. The manager said the pistol was in plain sight but when we got to our room the pistol was stuffed way down in our bag. The staff obviously went through our bags. Apparently Baymont by Wyndam in Flint has a no pistol policy at their hotel in Flint...lol. Just go somewhere else. There was another black couple that the management walked into their room when the management was investigating the same smoking complaint. Seriously, stay away. Baymont by Wyndham in Flint is obviously anti civil rights. I would expect some measure of privacy in our room when we rent it. The Cracker Barrel resturant next door is not much better...Safety: This hotel chain has a guest no firearm policy with only an overweight unarmed security guard protecting the property. This is in Flint...

Thank you Sky for being able to fix our issues so quickly & thank you Baymont for a quick and easy stay while our basement was flooded!
Valerie Paige: Worst most dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed I repeat! Do not stay here! They are gross!

ALLISON METZ: *Do **NOT** stay her if you have any choice in the matter* = My group was charged TWO-HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($250) FOR A SOILED TOWEL. Absolute true story and if I was reading this review, I would have my doubts that this was the whole story, but that's it = Hotel maids found a towel that had some spots of blood on it (I assumed menstrual blood since three young women from my group stayed in the room) and the credit card was charged an additional $250 for "room damages." When I called the hotel to ask what specific damages occured in room, I was told there was one towel with blood spots on it that was considered damage to the room. When I asked for pictures of the towel, the hotel insisted they could only FAX me a photo which was impossible to discern whether the black and white, grainy photo of dark spots were shadows or soiled spots on the towel. After my fourth attempt to get the General Manager on the phone and I finally got to talk to her, she repeatedly insisted that $250 for ONE HOTEL TOWEL with some spots of blood was perfectly reasonable, and the guest should have come down to the front desk to ask for special cleaning supplies. After 10 minutes of this back and forth, I realized we weren't going to be able to come to a point of understanding, I calmly informed the General Manager I could not recommend her hotel to anyone and that people needed to know that they would be charged a $250 room dange fee if they unintentionally got menstrual blood on a towel. She then spent 5 more minutes insisting that I was in the wrong for claiming I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone else by simply sharing what actually happened. There's other hotels in the Flint, MI area that are much more accomodating and reasonable for the same price. I ADAMANTLY RECOMMEND you stay at any hotel other than this one.

The first hotel to refuse a family member at check-in. Even after IHG agent called them to explain the situation. Very disappointing and disgusting. Why are you even part of IHG, if you can't follow their guidelines. They won't let us in.

The carpet had stains on the floor. The bathroom door would not close at all.The next morning. I go to check out and they had someone check the room. Cool no problem. The lady get a call look me in my face and smile. Hand up the phone and try to tell me. Since I left make-up on a pillow that I would not be getting a deposit back. I told her yes I was. The guy said no smoking. Another lady tries to tell me to wear water basic makeup. I told her you can’t tell me what to wear on my face. I did get my deposit back but…. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE again!!!!

Jesmesh M: I booked it for the pool jacuzzi. Which again, a year later are still under maintenance. The little breakfast coffee bar is overpriced. The building itself including the hallway especially, feels like an icebox. In my sweet, a large room, the furniture is outdated and junky and worn out.
Jim Blake: I had problems with our room. After I brought attention to some issues, they switched our room. The staff was great, as they listened and acted. This place will be going through a renovation soon. I would visit again after the renovation.Rooms: Outdated rooms, but they will be renovating soon.
Brenda Brooks: The room and services need a lot of work.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Georgina Kreitzburg: The Bistro prices are ridiculous. I do not know how the hotel is making any money off of it at all. You probably have more spoiled yogurt and fruit than anything, as the price of one piece of fruit and a yogurt is $10.50 like C'mon man are we serious. The staff was very nice, and helped get us our room, but there really are no amenities besides the pool and weight room, and at the price there should be at least a free type of breakfast, heck I'd even take cereal at this point! SMH.I understand there is a restaurant here, but if you want good reviews for the restaurant and want people to buy something more, then offer something for free, and the consumer may feel more freely to purchase something they may want more than what is for free. You are wasting so much food as a company, and I do not understand how you can make any profits with the costs you have.Other than the non existence of continental breakfast hotel was nice though.Food & drinks: Brought 2 twenty ounces in the lobby last night $6.50 for two. Not horrible as I didn't have to leave to get it!
Crystal Powell: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!If I could give them LESS than 1 star, I would!!! Check in time is 3pm, I reserved 2 rooms - rooms were not ready upon check in at 4:50pm! Not only were rooms not ready, we waited in line for almost 2 hours, with 4 people ahead of us, BECAUSE THEY HAD ZERO CLEAN ROOMS at almost 5pm!!! They also have hidden fees, one being $10 for parking!!! You’re sleeping in their hotel and they charge you to park in their lot, which by the way, you have to dodge potholes in!!! Keycards didn’t work, but neither did their machine to program them. This is the WORST Marriott I have ever stayed in and I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Furniture is nasty and outdated, curtains that are supposed to be white are brown (lobby), curtains in the rooms are riddled with holes. Oh, and check out the dust on the desk - my husband wrote his name in it!You’re better off getting the $80 room right next door. DO BETTER MARRIOTT FLINT!!!
Kate Longhorn: Best staff from front desk manager to housekeeper even houseman and maintenanceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Steven Chauvin: Front desk was fantastic.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Thomas tubb: Not worth your money don't waste your time staying in this placeRooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Justin Couch: UPDATE: Removed another star because I went to use the restroom and the toilet was filthy like it never flushed properly, and there was no toilet paper!I wish I would have read their website and reviews before booking, because it was too late once I was told by the front desk all the details. The Good:Staff was nice, lobby was nice. Pool and fitness rooms looked good too. Bed was comfy enough. The Bad:#1: You have to pay $10/night just to park your car there while you stay in their hotel.#2: "The Bistro" is the in house breakfast that you have to pay for. Regular yogurt is $6 and most of the normal breakfast items are going to be $10-$12.#3 The rooms are dated. Bed was old but comfortable enough.Definitely not what I expected. I'm disappointed that I'm stuck here for 2 nights.
Jason Apol: I'm a titanium member. Stopped here because it was late and it was convenient. Let's just say this place is stuck somewhere in 1990. Broken lamp shade, dirt on the walls, one arm on the sofa is caved in and there are many stains on it, the curtains above the air conditioner are mostly white but are black on the bottom edges...I think Marriott corporate has forgotten about this place.... 😕
Adam Guerra: This place needs a major remodeling. There’s damaged flooring baseboard everywhere: the lobby, the elevator, the room. Furniture in the room is pretty beat up. The sofa had a huge tear on it. I was never able to log in to the wifi, I thought it was my computer, but the problem did not replicate in a different different hotel. The elevator needs to be replaced all together: the buttons don’t respond, some don’t turn on at all. And the carpet seems like its been there 30 years.
Sandy Cox: When you walk into the lobby you go oh this looks ok. Then I go to my room. Well I had to pick up a couple pieces of paper on the carpet, I look up and they are cobwebs in more then one place. No cups for coffee . Hot tub did not work or the pool. Forget the fitness room only the elliptical worked. It also very dusty in there . I didn’t know they charged you to park. They do not shovel between the cars or around the cars so expect to step into the snow so don’t wear good shoes. I would not recommend this placeMarriotts use to be a high quality hotel. Not anymore.
Veronica Wesley: In desperate need of renovation!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Nicole Wright: The girl at check in was nice . Somehow there's a 20 deposit as you check out and a ridiculous parking fee to park in their parking lot . The wallpaper was falling off the walls in the hallway the furniture was beat up and dirty and old . That was on the 3rd floor . Not sure what the other floors looked like . Definitely won't be back .

Knights Inn Flint: what do users think?
Troy Koontz: There's a mud pit out yonder in the back don't take a Ford back there it might get in a sticky situation 😂😂😆Walkability: You can walk to the mud pit to see the Ford trucks get stuck when u need a laugh. Party store and Walmart close by as well as some fast food places
Jake Dolson: bed bugs made me feel wanted but the water gave me rabies and when I wanted a refund the lady kicked me out.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Sarah Bysno: Room smelled of urine and mold.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Brittany Thornton: H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E.B.E.D.B.U.G. ,R.O.A.C.H. & C.R.A.C.K. ALLEYI was in my room all of 1 hr got bite up and didn't get a refund when I left the room was still ok like they could have sold it again they need to shut it down
Tonia Force: This was by far the dirtiest room we've ever stayed in. We only stayed because we were there for a funeral and had to get a room at the last minute and it was cheap, as a room was not in our budget this time. The people at the desk were good though. They didn't charge us for our dog, which definitely helped. But the room was literally dirty, not just old and not maintained. The towels a nd washcloth looked used and wrinkles like all they did was folded it back up, and there was only 2 towels. The beds were the same. The sheets and pillows were visibly dirty looking and wrinkles like they had been used. I had my own blankets and pillows so we just slept on top of the bedspread. The toilet, tub and even the walls were dirty. I didn't even want to touch the light switch to turn anything on. The fridge has ice built up in the freezer, which is not a big deal except the ice was yellow And brown like food had been spilled in there and not cleaned up. This room was absolutely disgusting. I was afraid to check for bedbugs because I was stuck having to stay here so I just didn't even want to know. Very disgusting.Rooms: Absolutely disgusting and dirty. Linens were dirty and appeared to be used.Noteworthy details: Most disgusting place I've ever stayed.
Timothy Allen: Very outdated and kinda dirtyRooms: Outdated and dirtyRooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Marcelo Cortez: 50 dlls de deposito silencioso, buen descanso, habitaciones limpias, desayuno gratis
Crystal Emery: The rooms are very nice and the location is great very modernized and spacious . Desk chair , microwave , fridge , microwave and decent priced . Comfy bedding .
Lonesome Warrior: The hotel was in total a warm, clean and dry place to stay. My mom and I stayed here for a month. The staff are super friendly and quick to help. The main reason I'm rating so low is the accomodations said to be included with the room. Housekeeping is only weekly and they only take linens upon that weekly cleaning. The wifi is basically non existent and the trim around the floor is taped up with duct tape. If these were handled, I would have given 3 stars
