Tonia Force: This was by far the dirtiest room we've ever stayed in. We only stayed because we were there for a funeral and had to get a room at the last minute and it was cheap, as a room was not in our budget this time. The people at the desk were good though. They didn't charge us for our dog, which definitely helped. But the room was literally dirty, not just old and not maintained. The towels a nd washcloth looked used and wrinkles like all they did was folded it back up, and there was only 2 towels. The beds were the same. The sheets and pillows were visibly dirty looking and wrinkles like they had been used. I had my own blankets and pillows so we just slept on top of the bedspread. The toilet, tub and even the walls were dirty. I didn't even want to touch the light switch to turn anything on. The fridge has ice built up in the freezer, which is not a big deal except the ice was yellow And brown like food had been spilled in there and not cleaned up. This room was absolutely disgusting. I was afraid to check for bedbugs because I was stuck having to stay here so I just didn't even want to know. Very disgusting.Rooms: Absolutely disgusting and dirty. Linens were dirty and appeared to be used.Noteworthy details: Most disgusting place I've ever stayed.

Lonesome Warrior: The hotel was in total a warm, clean and dry place to stay. My mom and I stayed here for a month. The staff are super friendly and quick to help. The main reason I'm rating so low is the accomodations said to be included with the room. Housekeeping is only weekly and they only take linens upon that weekly cleaning. The wifi is basically non existent and the trim around the floor is taped up with duct tape. If these were handled, I would have given 3 stars

Many rooms require a deposit now and, unless you pay cash, the deposit can sit as a hold on your credit or debit account for up to 8 days! Yes that means they hold that deposit money, which is is usually somewhere between $50-$150.

Sandra Natole: Firstly, I thankfully did not have to stay the night here. But, I came here to pick up my partner. This is where he ended up after a car accident and I feel awful. When you walk through the main floor, it is in the process of possible renovation, but looks horrifying. There is no real floor: Concrete and sealed. There are no vents. Rooms are noted by masking tape with hand written numbers.I tried to talk to front desk to let them know I was there for an hour or so, and no one was there. Upstairs, it looks more like a motel in the sense there's walls and appropriate signage. Etc. But the smell......oh my God the smell. It's a mix of must, mold, and something I can't quite put my finger on.Inside the room partner had, there was a toilet or tub that leaked over the entire bathroom floor. The wall and carpet in the main room were clearly damaged by water and possibly still wet. There is a fridge and microwave . There was a large splatter of red sticky liquid running down the wall and onto the carpet. Another spot on the floor with the same candy or whatever it was stuck to the carpet. The TV did not work, maybe it was the remote though. When I walked into the room, I really felt a general sense of sadness. It was just a very comfort-less room. I was going to stay here for a night with them, but immediately booked a room for that evening somewhere else.I'm not picky. I really am not. But this place really scared me and I want you to think about checking it out maybe before booking a room. Ask to see one or take a walk into the hotel in lieu of booking blindly.It could be in the process of getting better, it really could be. But for now, it's a shell of a motel and one that I would not feel comfortable returning to again for any reason in this current state. But I truly do hope positive changes are made. It can be a great place close to pretty much everything near the airport. Hopefully it can happen !

Noah Whitfill: It was late and I gave it a chance but....This place is an absolute dump! ZERO stars. The front desk employees are extremely unprofessional. It seems like this company will hire anyone off the street and literally not train them! When I got there they under charged me by mistake...after trying to correct the situation they then OVER charged me a very large sum of money by mistake! So incompetent! I went to inspect the rooms....gross! All of the furniture is literally falling apart and the entire room smelled of urine! Who ever owns this place lacks integrity and self respect because there was trash everywhere in the parking lot and in near the front entrance. If you look at this hotel the outside does match the inside. Just drive away and go somewhere else.

Rooms need to be updated old marked up furniture with chunks of wood missing and a chair from the 70's with that much dust accumulated on it... layers of caulk around jacuzzi and wall paper peeling off... smoke alarm was hanging down by wires and the extra lock was hanging off the door by one screw... ceiling fan about to fall off inches of dust on it... was surprised they get almost $200 a night for that

The rates may be ok but the real story begins: I was away at a party and recieved a call from the manager at 12:47 a.m. saying I have something in my room that I can't have.When I arrive the manager asked to see my ID and said that they had a smoking complaint on our floor. They entered our room while we were gone and went through our bags and found our legally owned and carried pistol. The manager said the pistol was in plain sight but when we got to our room the pistol was stuffed way down in our bag. The staff obviously went through our bags. Apparently Baymont by Wyndam in Flint has a no pistol policy at their hotel in Flint...lol. Just go somewhere else. There was another black couple that the management walked into their room when the management was investigating the same smoking complaint. Seriously, stay away. Baymont by Wyndham in Flint is obviously anti civil rights. I would expect some measure of privacy in our room when we rent it. The Cracker Barrel resturant next door is not much better...Safety: This hotel chain has a guest no firearm policy with only an overweight unarmed security guard protecting the property. Jessica Valdez: My husband and I stayed this past weekend and had multiple issues with the room, I spoke to multiple different staff and finally the morning shift girl if I recall her name it was Sky came in and was able to get us in a different room and solve all of our issues right away for us to finish off being able to say we had an enjoyable stay! Thank you Sky for being able to fix our issues so quickly & thank you Baymont for a quick and easy stay while our basement was flooded!

Emily Mohler: I had some issues with my initial room but the clerk quickly got me sorted out the issue. The breakfast attendant was also super friendly. The breakfast bar had a lot of variety. The was bagels, muffins, bread, eggs (I had the western style omelet and really liked it), waffles, and oatmeal. I had A+ service though the whole weekend. Cissy: We have stayed at several hotels in the last few months. We have been mostly revolted at state of the pools, the overly packed facilities, and general unkempt state of several chains. This Hampton was refreshing and restored our hope in hotels. The pool was clean, had plentiful towels, and was nicely appointed. The staff was friendly, helpful and expedient. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. I already like this chain, but this one was extra good.

Sabrina Robinson: We have been going to this same location for years and just recently had an issue that wasn’t completely their fault but they didn’t make any of their guests aware of it before check in. The pool had to get cleaned and refilled because someone pressed an emergency shut off button for no reason so the children we brought were not able to go swimming for hours which was the only reason we rented a room. Also we purchased 2 adjoining rooms and one of which smelled God awful like feet and decaying animal, they gave us air freshener or said we could have rooms upstairs. Stairs/elevator was not an option for us so we didn’t have a great experience our last visit. Every visit beforehand was great.

The hot tub (every parents favorite part) was closed and this place has really gone downhill since our last stay. The carpets on the stairwells and second floor are seriously disgusting. Debi Baker: Jimmy and his staff are fantastic. It's an older motel but they are doing upgrades. The motel gets a bad rap because people have no respect for the property then complain because they have to rent a room they destroy. Housekeeping is doing their best with what they have to deal with. The motel has been doing a lot of weeding out the problem tenants, it's a work in progress. I was here on Christmas Eve and saw the motel provided Santa and the Grinch who stole Christmas experience for all the children that live here and they got very nice gifts I've never seen that happen at any Motel if I have to stay in a motel in Flint this is my first choice people are running down all the motels because they have no respect for other people's property it isn't the motel that's causing the problems it's the people that bring their problems to the motel I've stayed here and there for 30 years and the people running the motel are actually doing their best to try to provide a safe environment for people to stay and I greatly appreciate everything they've done to help me and look forward to doing business here in the future. Realize They need a few more upgrades but I give the staff five stars regardless of what people have said or done to the motel to run it down. Matthew Baker I Am: I stayed here for 2 weeks, and couldn't have been happier for the price I paid. Everything one needs in a furnished apartment is here, for a great value. It's location just adds to that, As there is a Walmart Aldi and pretty much anything else you could think of within walking distance, or a very short drive.

JD Husocki: Stayed in one of the efficient rooms. Clean and landlord was always there when you needed her. Great place if trying to get back on your feet.
Miraya: Quite place to get away and have fun.
B Schoenbach: Very nice place to stay. Clean, new updated bathrooms, kitchen,rooms. Has strict rules for a reason. People who are asked to leave for rule violations are the ones giving bad reviews. Owners are very friendly, helpful, caring people.
Abby Murchie: One of my Closest guy friend's stays here & it's perfect for him. Staff is SUPER NICE. Their shared Kitchen always has extra food stocked for tenants. AN OVEN & MICROWAVE is provided to cook your own food. ALSO provided is a filtered water dispenser! How awesome is that?!? SUPER Hot & SUPER Cold H2O dispenses. {PERFECT 4 RAMEN 😜🍜🥠}Located on Flints Southside. It's SUPER CLEAN & DRUG FREE (Well it seems to be.... I DON'T KNOW that for a fact). Carolyn Watson: VERY nice hotel. The room was super clean and the bed and sheets were sooooooo comfortable. The breakfast bar was excellent with delicious fresh fruit and a variety of items. Also, as a solo female traveler I felt completely safe.
