Home2 Suites by Hilton Grand Blanc Flint: what do users think?
David Turner: First time staying at a Home 2 and as you can see by the 5 stars I was very happy with my stay. Was in town for a Karate tournament in Holy MI.Rooms: Loved the full size microwave and larger than usual refrigerator that any other hotel I have stayed at.
Amanda Potts: This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and have not had a Friendly Accepting Arrival each time, no smiles, no welcoming. etc. Breakfast does seem lacking, not kid friendly. Pool was freezing both times we have stayed. Rooms are nice. but definately need clenaing stepped up (dirt in corner of shower, hair in shower, carpet coming ip in corner, etc) Will more than likely seek alternative hotel stay some place else next time.
Nancy Slavik: Very accomadating, service was great from the beginning to end. Will definitely book with them again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Matt Zippmann: Could be cleaner. Linens have curly hairs from prior guests. Hair on floor in bathroom. Shower is a trickle. Overall appearance of property is sub-par. There was a large dog barking loudly in the hallway at 6:15 in the morning which woke me up.
Fiona Wild: We stayed here with our 89-year-old mother. She uses a walker to get around in the room. But, she utilizes a wheelchair when out in public. We brought her shower chair, and the transition was smooth and easy! The water pressure was great! We needed to do laundry because we were there for 7 days, and they have guest laundry facilities. Two washing machines and 2 dryers. The cost per each is $2.00, and they have change at the front desk. They have a nice, clean area to work out. The rooms offer a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and plates, glasses, and silverware. They even have little coffee makers! Our fridge wasn't working the first night. The maintenance man, Frank came the next morning with another fridge that DID work! When he brought it, I happened to be on the phone with my husband, saying, "I love you" at the very same time Frank was wheeling the fridge into the room! His reaction was so funny!! I began to refer to him as "the new love of my life"! 😁😁 A few days later, as I was washing our laundry, Frank came into the area to get something for the pool. There is a locked door for maintenance to use.... poor guy...I was again saying "I love you" to my husband, and Frank stopped, looked at me and asked "Are you talking to your husband again?" 🤣🤣🤣 All in all, this is a great place to stay!! I highly suggest it! Thanks to all the wonderful staff!! They ALL made us feel welcome!!
Todd McLavy: Didn't end up staying here. Rates were high and it was pushing 2am. Just needed a bed. Desk clerk was very helpful in regards to our local options but not will to deal on price.
Somerlee Methner: Very great customer service
Dalanie danielle: Absolutely amazing hospitality and so convenient when traveling with a pet. The pool is great , the rooms , and common areas are incredibly clean. It is a busy place but very quiet! Will absolutely be continuing my weekend stays away here. 😊Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Calisa Creamer: My experience was great. There were some guest with children running around in the room above me. The front desk took care of it immediately and I was a blessing to sleep peacefully. You rocked. The breakfast was real food, not just breakfast snacks! The room was very clean and welcoming. My name was even on the tv screen. I TRULY FELT SPECIAL
Carina Loren: Left a full bag of laundry in my room, called the same day and apparently it was never found … Hard to believe not finding a huge bag of someone else’s clothes while cleaning a room. Also the walls are super thin, and the hallway stinks.
LaToya Bell: Our favorite place to stay when we come to the area. Friendly staff, spacious rooms with Kitchenette and desk area that makes it easy to work remotely. Not many good restaurant choices nearby but Uber Eats solves that. And they do have a small selection of items for sale and reheating in the room. Breakfast has good options -- hot items include waffles, scrambled egg bowls, pre-made omlettes, breakfast sandwiches, and oatmeal plus a variety of toppings. Coffee, hot water for Tea/Cocoa available 24/7. Laundry room is a plus for extended stays.
Chen Dushek: The hotel and room were all very nice, albeit a bit overpriced. I personally will never stay here again because the burly front desk lady came up to the third floor and knocked on my door at 9pm to tell me to keep our voices down while my wife and I are FaceTiming my dying mother, which apparently was disturbing multiple guests. So, nice place, but please go no thank you-rself.
Bro. Brown: Newer hotel with nice rooms with complimentary breakfast but issues with the orange juice dispenser was disappointing. Also the water seemed extra soft with a hard to rinse the soap off feeling. My digital key and key cards were deactivated on checkout day at 7am after finishing breakfast so I was locked out of my room and had to go to the customer counter to get reactivated but the digital key option was no longer available so I had to use the key card instead. The lady who helped me with that was pleasant and helpful but of course I would rather it didn’t happen. Overall the experience was not bad and I would return if needed.
Nicole Otter: A few missing amenities but it was a nice stay. Was disappointed in the breakfast not as good as other hilton hotels. Room was amazing. Bed was comfortable the best I've seen in hilton hotels. Would have been a 5 star if there would have been a hotbtub.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Valerie Lazarz: Breakfast was a little....lacking? Or short staffed, not sure.Update- 4-2-23Almost want to give them zero stars. I'm considering never staying at a home2 again! Second time in a year we've gone to this particular one and pool is closed for cleaning! Kitchen shelves were dusty, dirty shower, dirty bathroom floors, no shower gell to wash with
tonya hendricks: The hotel was extremely fresh and clean .The staff was friendly and helpful .I loved my entire experience while staying .It was quiet, spacious room /suite. Your only 10-20 mins from Flint depending on what side of town your going .Rooms: We had a 1 bedroom suite .Our room was extremely nice and clean. Refrigerator, stocked kitchen , pull out bed (couch) and very spacious . I will definitely stay again..
Mark Vineyard: I would stay there again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Troy Koontz: There's a mud pit out yonder in the back don't take a Ford back there it might get in a sticky situation 😂😂😆Walkability: You can walk to the mud pit to see the Ford trucks get stuck when u need a laugh. Party store and Walmart close by as well as some fast food places

Tonia Force: This was by far the dirtiest room we've ever stayed in. We only stayed because we were there for a funeral and had to get a room at the last minute and it was cheap, as a room was not in our budget this time. The people at the desk were good though. They didn't charge us for our dog, which definitely helped. But the room was literally dirty, not just old and not maintained. The towels a nd washcloth looked used and wrinkles like all they did was folded it back up, and there was only 2 towels. The beds were the same. The sheets and pillows were visibly dirty looking and wrinkles like they had been used. I had my own blankets and pillows so we just slept on top of the bedspread. The toilet, tub and even the walls were dirty. I didn't even want to touch the light switch to turn anything on. The fridge has ice built up in the freezer, which is not a big deal except the ice was yellow And brown like food had been spilled in there and not cleaned up. This room was absolutely disgusting. I was afraid to check for bedbugs because I was stuck having to stay here so I just didn't even want to know. Very disgusting.Rooms: Absolutely disgusting and dirty. Linens were dirty and appeared to be used.Noteworthy details: Most disgusting place I've ever stayed.

Marcelo Cortez: 50 dlls de deposito silencioso, buen descanso, habitaciones limpias, desayuno gratis
Crystal Emery: The rooms are very nice and the location is great very modernized and spacious . Desk chair , microwave , fridge , microwave and decent priced . Comfy bedding .
Lonesome Warrior: The hotel was in total a warm, clean and dry place to stay. My mom and I stayed here for a month. The staff are super friendly and quick to help. The main reason I'm rating so low is the accomodations said to be included with the room. Housekeeping is only weekly and they only take linens upon that weekly cleaning. The wifi is basically non existent and the trim around the floor is taped up with duct tape. If these were handled, I would have given 3 stars

Days Inn by Wyndham Flint/Bishop International Airport: what do users think?
Debbie S.: I had a good experience at this Days Inn located at 2325 Austins Parkway Flint, MI 48507The Front Staff was helpful, kind, courteous and professional especially Daemeon and Vanessa. The price of staying here is affordable especially during these tough times for alot of people. If I'm ever in this area again I will definitely stay at this Days Inn.Great Job Staff Members..You're a great Team! ✨😊✨Rooms: My room was nice and cozy. They are renovating so some rooms may not be available.Walkability: Applebee's is across the street as well as Speedway Gas Station and Sonic Burgers.UPDATE: Sonic Burger was torn downChick Fil A will be on the corner of Miller and Austin Parkway where Sonic Burger use to be. (All in walking distance from Days Inn and Baymont.Food & drinks: Vending Machines are in the Lobby Area at the Days Inn for a midnight snack for those who are thirsty and want a snack.
Connie Richardson: There are no closets, they were closed when renovations were done. There were no covers over the air conditioner. The shower leaked .There were smokers in room next door, and we had to close off all vents. I brought my own air purifier which I know worked overtime! The atmosphere of being watched each time we came in and left was erie!!!Never gave clean towels! Horrible!!!! No microwave 1 Microwave to be used by entire hotel downstairs! No food allowed to leave from downstairs continetal breakfast, but employees/ owners children allowed to do so in front of customers. Bed is so used that I felt as if I would roll off all night long.!!!!
Alaina Blakemore: Can't complainNearby activities: We had breakfast and dinner and twisted burger down the road from the hotel. We walked there, it was quite peaceful and the walk was pretty quick.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Bernadette Duroch: If you expect to swim in the pool, you better call first because they said it will not be available till summer sometime and the Baymont next door did not have the pool available either.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More

Gary R: Dirty DatedRooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Sarah Carr: Mediocre at best. A little dirty but nothing I couldn’t handle. There was security guards at my door at 11 pm because apparently my speaker was too loud. Why wouldn’t they just call the room and tell me that? The breakfast was kind of slim pickins. Even at 7 am there was no fruit, one danish in the cabinet, and no selections of juices or teas which was a disappointment for me. However the waffle maker saved our lives, it is always excellent! So it wasn’t nothing to write home about but it was the cheapest I saw.
Chelsey Holmes: You definitely get what you pay for staying here. Was taken a back by the fact they ask for a security deposit by how many issues the rooms have. Luckily did not have any bugs. Roof over your head for the airport but that's about damn near it.
Ryan Rogers: Economical Lodging. Wouldn’t recommend for Longer Stays.
Cassandra Dolan (Busybee Or Nova Reign): God bless everyone you have a choice to accept jesus christ and turn from sin and leave is in peace
Scott Gammons: Rooms are clean. Housekeeping brings clean towels ecery day without being asked! Customer service is pilite and friendly and knowledgeable of his job and the local area. Very helpful and accomodatingRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More

ALLISON METZ: *Do **NOT** stay her if you have any choice in the matter* = My group was charged TWO-HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($250) FOR A SOILED TOWEL. Absolute true story and if I was reading this review, I would have my doubts that this was the whole story, but that's it = Hotel maids found a towel that had some spots of blood on it (I assumed menstrual blood since three young women from my group stayed in the room) and the credit card was charged an additional $250 for "room damages." When I called the hotel to ask what specific damages occured in room, I was told there was one towel with blood spots on it that was considered damage to the room. When I asked for pictures of the towel, the hotel insisted they could only FAX me a photo which was impossible to discern whether the black and white, grainy photo of dark spots were shadows or soiled spots on the towel. After my fourth attempt to get the General Manager on the phone and I finally got to talk to her, she repeatedly insisted that $250 for ONE HOTEL TOWEL with some spots of blood was perfectly reasonable, and the guest should have come down to the front desk to ask for special cleaning supplies. After 10 minutes of this back and forth, I realized we weren't going to be able to come to a point of understanding, I calmly informed the General Manager I could not recommend her hotel to anyone and that people needed to know that they would be charged a $250 room dange fee if they unintentionally got menstrual blood on a towel. She then spent 5 more minutes insisting that I was in the wrong for claiming I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone else by simply sharing what actually happened. There's other hotels in the Flint, MI area that are much more accomodating and reasonable for the same price. I ADAMANTLY RECOMMEND you stay at any hotel other than this one.
A1 Snow Removal: Not happy at all to find out when they ran deposit of what was told was $100 turned out to be $234.74 after I already paid for the room via Expedia and now they play dumb like idk why it'd say that because we didn't yet my card clearly says otherwise. Donny Angeles: After being a member for 12 and a half years, at the top membership status every year, today was the first time a friend or family member was turned down at check-in using my points. The first hotel to refuse a family member at check-in. Even after IHG agent called them to explain the situation. Very disappointing and disgusting. Why are you even part of IHG, if you can't follow their guidelines. They won't let us in.
Larry Schulte: Booked 6 rooms and only needed 5. They refused to refund the unused room. They're not the only game in town, so I think next time we will spend our money elsewhere. Disappointing.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Janene Garnett: I stayed here two nights ago. When arriving the man at the front desk told me that if I didn’t smoke in the room I would get my $150.00 deposit back. Which I don’t smoke. The carpet had stains on the floor. The bathroom door would not close at all.The next morning. I go to check out and they had someone check the room. Cool no problem. The lady get a call look me in my face and smile. Hand up the phone and try to tell me. Since I left make-up on a pillow that I would not be getting a deposit back. I told her yes I was. The guy said no smoking. Another lady tries to tell me to wear water basic makeup. I told her you can’t tell me what to wear on my face. I did get my deposit back but…. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE again!!!!

Courtyard by Marriott Flint Grand Blanc: what do users think?
Niazuddin Mohammed: Staff is very helpful, anything you need just request and they will try to accommodate.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jesmesh M: I booked it for the pool jacuzzi. Which again, a year later are still under maintenance. The little breakfast coffee bar is overpriced. The building itself including the hallway especially, feels like an icebox. In my sweet, a large room, the furniture is outdated and junky and worn out.
Jim Blake: I had problems with our room. After I brought attention to some issues, they switched our room. The staff was great, as they listened and acted. This place will be going through a renovation soon. I would visit again after the renovation.Rooms: Outdated rooms, but they will be renovating soon.
Brenda Brooks: The room and services need a lot of work.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Georgina Kreitzburg: The Bistro prices are ridiculous. I do not know how the hotel is making any money off of it at all. You probably have more spoiled yogurt and fruit than anything, as the price of one piece of fruit and a yogurt is $10.50 like C'mon man are we serious. The staff was very nice, and helped get us our room, but there really are no amenities besides the pool and weight room, and at the price there should be at least a free type of breakfast, heck I'd even take cereal at this point! SMH.I understand there is a restaurant here, but if you want good reviews for the restaurant and want people to buy something more, then offer something for free, and the consumer may feel more freely to purchase something they may want more than what is for free. You are wasting so much food as a company, and I do not understand how you can make any profits with the costs you have.Other than the non existence of continental breakfast hotel was nice though.Food & drinks: Brought 2 twenty ounces in the lobby last night $6.50 for two. Not horrible as I didn't have to leave to get it!
Crystal Powell: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!If I could give them LESS than 1 star, I would!!! Check in time is 3pm, I reserved 2 rooms - rooms were not ready upon check in at 4:50pm! Not only were rooms not ready, we waited in line for almost 2 hours, with 4 people ahead of us, BECAUSE THEY HAD ZERO CLEAN ROOMS at almost 5pm!!! They also have hidden fees, one being $10 for parking!!! You’re sleeping in their hotel and they charge you to park in their lot, which by the way, you have to dodge potholes in!!! Keycards didn’t work, but neither did their machine to program them. This is the WORST Marriott I have ever stayed in and I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Furniture is nasty and outdated, curtains that are supposed to be white are brown (lobby), curtains in the rooms are riddled with holes. Oh, and check out the dust on the desk - my husband wrote his name in it!You’re better off getting the $80 room right next door. DO BETTER MARRIOTT FLINT!!!

Justin Couch: UPDATE: Removed another star because I went to use the restroom and the toilet was filthy like it never flushed properly, and there was no toilet paper!I wish I would have read their website and reviews before booking, because it was too late once I was told by the front desk all the details. The Good:Staff was nice, lobby was nice. Pool and fitness rooms looked good too. Bed was comfy enough. The Bad:#1: You have to pay $10/night just to park your car there while you stay in their hotel.#2: "The Bistro" is the in house breakfast that you have to pay for. Regular yogurt is $6 and most of the normal breakfast items are going to be $10-$12.#3 The rooms are dated. Bed was old but comfortable enough.Definitely not what I expected. I'm disappointed that I'm stuck here for 2 nights.
Jason Apol: I'm a titanium member. Stopped here because it was late and it was convenient. Let's just say this place is stuck somewhere in 1990. Broken lamp shade, dirt on the walls, one arm on the sofa is caved in and there are many stains on it, the curtains above the air conditioner are mostly white but are black on the bottom edges...I think Marriott corporate has forgotten about this place.... 😕
Adam Guerra: This place needs a major remodeling. There’s damaged flooring baseboard everywhere: the lobby, the elevator, the room. Furniture in the room is pretty beat up. The sofa had a huge tear on it. I was never able to log in to the wifi, I thought it was my computer, but the problem did not replicate in a different different hotel. The elevator needs to be replaced all together: the buttons don’t respond, some don’t turn on at all. And the carpet seems like its been there 30 years.
Sandy Cox: When you walk into the lobby you go oh this looks ok. Then I go to my room. Well I had to pick up a couple pieces of paper on the carpet, I look up and they are cobwebs in more then one place. No cups for coffee . Hot tub did not work or the pool. Forget the fitness room only the elliptical worked. It also very dusty in there . I didn’t know they charged you to park. They do not shovel between the cars or around the cars so expect to step into the snow so don’t wear good shoes. I would not recommend this placeMarriotts use to be a high quality hotel. Not anymore.

Definitely won't be back .
