Erway bbq and comfort foods: Property looks a lot better than what it was when it was a school but lots of traffic now on my street and you can see some of the people doing odd stuff out front running from the apartments to an abandoned house on the street so other than that it's great for the community it's not just run down getting vandalized so I gave it a three or it would have been a five

Eric The Explorer: This is a very quiet isolated community on Flint's east side. I see lots of neighbors looking out for other neighbors, everybody's watching everybody else's back. It's a multiracial apartment complex, it seems pretty quiet and nice.

Miss Sandra Kay Coulter (Sandy): This place has really nice townhomes but it’s the neighborhood that makes me turn away from the place. It’s not a place you would want to stay. There are a lot of break ins & it’s just not a safe neighborhood. Plus the waiting list to get in here is like a year and a half to even get in. Ridiculous I thought!

The lady that works in the office is very nasty , rude & and very sneaky. Maintenance sucks , takes days for them to even come out , they have little to no heat , its supposed to be desgined to help people but really they getting over on people , you've been warned do not move there worst decision ive ever made.

Ebonee Walker: These apartments are nice! However, I do not like the office manager, Mickey Wade. She is very arrogant, snooty, rude, and is just not a friendly person at all. She disguises her self with being “fake nice”. I don’t like the way I was treated by her verbally when it came to renewing my lease. Or by email. she didn’t want anyone interrupting her while she was talking, but didn’t give me a chance to even get my point across. She is not a people’s person, and she needs to learn how to better communicate with tenants in a more respectful and friendly manner. There’s no point in trying to elaborate to someone who is committed to not understanding you.But I do appreciate Sharon. She’s always so sweet, kind, and understanding. She cleared up any miscommunication that was had between me and the office with just having some patience, and just being empathetic. Other than that, great place to live!

Tesha Burks: The apartments are nice and my application process was smooth. However after 2 years I am excited to be leaving. They have rules and regulations that aren’t even enforced. Mainly the one car per household rule. As a paying tenant I should be able to park where I PAY to live but instead there aren’t any parking spaces for anyone working the late shift. The parking lot is constantly full of cars from people that don’t even live there forcing actual paying residents to find parking elsewhere which usually ends in receiving a ticket from the police for being parked on the street. They claim cars without a parking sticker will be towed but fail to inform u the rule only applies Mon-Fri 8-5. Also cars are broken into and the office won’t even simply playback the surveillance footage. They have ONE standard sized dumpster for the entire complex which is overflowing with trash EVERY weekend and holiday. Could be a nice complex but they need to hire security or something, provide additional parking, and the obvious get additional dumpsters…. a few amenities would be nice as well.

SharrDee _: Moved into my apartment and the application process was smooth. All of management and maintenance are kind, the grounds are kept clean and it’s safe with a secure building! I love my updated apartment. I highly recommend Marketplace apartments.

Keysha Neal: I put a online application in last year, when everything was closed down due to Covid.Received a call, was excited but due to my income I was told they would get back with me after talking with management. Never received a call back. I found that to be very unprofessional. I called back after giving them 48 to call me back. No answer, no return phone call or emails.Now I call today, for an update and was told I have to redo my application and make 2 to 3 times my income. How? I'm on SSD.Very frustrating......

Brianna Armstrong: I'd give them negative stars if I could. They do not answer the phone, emails, anything. I applied months back and put $40 to an application yet did not receive word of acceptance or declination (it has been since July 2020, I am writing in October) I went downtown three times during their office hours and the office doors were completely locked with absolutely no way to buzz in, calling the office from outside on two occasions brought me to voicemail. I would not recommend living in a place that is this unresponsive, I emailed multiple times for some kind of update and received no response. Imagine if you had a maintenance issue or an emergency, you'd be s*** out of luck.

Phoenix Zudell: Village Shore Apartments sure do take me back. whenever my wife and I used to get into a fight and we need to re-center ourselves we'd always head to the village shore Apartments and just sit, cry, talk It's some of the best memories that I've had and now that my wife's gone that the young age of 40 I'll never be the same again I always want to visit the places that we had together I'm so sad It was such a wonderful calming place just to sit out and look at the water, nobody ever bothered us. we just sit there and kind of hug it out talk sometimes we'd go there and have a picnic. It was just a place where we'd go after a fight, maybe after one of us would leave and the other wouldn't know where that other one went sometimes it would be days other times hours but we would always come back to each other. I'll always miss you Emily and we will always have our spot, as you will always have a spot in my heart forever and ever!
Demetria Brown: Not clean as the photo show's. The apartment smelled bad and nothing was repaired before they showed it to. People's has stuff on there patios. And the ground area was a mess and the hallways was dusty and carpet not clean.

Dtrae Smith: Very unsanitary apartments and very unprofessional. They also do not have dumbsters so they make it mandatory to keep all garbage collected inside of garages which causes flies and maggot build up. Their very very strict for no reason. Maintenance team is great and they respond fast to any issues. The office team always have attitudes and is very rude. I’ma very nice and easy person to talk to and they still manage to be rude or cause unnecessary drama. It’s potentially a great apartment considering the neighborhood it’s in but I highly recommend making changes and either hiring more people in the office or changing its workers to boost the morale.
