Its your girl Biannca: I used to go here kindergarten -4th grade i loved kindergarten-2nd but after my teacher left and i got a replacement she would always yell at me and call my mom and cuss i was an a plus student and I it went downhill in third garade now im in a homeschool group called way of wisdom and im a better studen my happiness is better im not depressed or anything else i love my life now so i dont recommend this school at all

THIS SCHOOL STILL IS TERRIBLE. they FORCE your kids to stay in an after school program for their behavior if they had issues with being tardy or behavior. if you don’t go they make you go to the board and get on a contract. ms.giles lies to your parents. she told me one thing and told my mom another. and i’m sick of the shenanigans at this school. and if you’re looking to get your kid if sports THIS IS NOT THE SCHOOL FOR THEM! all they have is basketball, football, track and cheerleading for high school.

DeEtta B: Teachers and students are disorderly...wild and loud...a insult to children graduating out of kindergarten they don't wear graduation cap or gown and the certificate they receive is small smh..no real ceremony is given...the high school is just out of order...if your child is bullied or victimized in anyway the protects the bully or bullies smh. If you want the innocence of your child or children to remain innocent don't send them here!

Hey Hey: This school is terrible. There is a lot of bullies. The teachers don’t teach, they walk out. The teaches are ALWAYS on their phone, and they even cuss at the children. This school needs to be shut down for good. Only good teacher is Ms.Crowl!

Rayna Butts: I used to be a student at this school, it was horrible. The staff wasn't much help and would treat you like an idiot when you need help. They wouldn't do anything about the bullies, I get it bullies are everywhere but nothing would be done. They play the favoritism game too much.

dor steeples: This school has an educator named April Latrice Maxwell-Jones who assaulted my niece with a screwdriver and her 5 year old son that needs to to be brought to justice. Apparently she thinks she is above the law.She also has committed fraud/left along with her daughter Lauren Ammini Maxwell-Payne AKA Lauren A Jones and her husband DeAndre Antwan Payne who both are known criminals by lying to local authorities regarding my nieces vehicle. This educator verbalized she knew one the officers who ordered my niece to relinquish keys to her vehicle or face arrest and her kids going into child protective custody.They stole my nieces's vehicle by lying to the local Police Department stating the car belonged to Lauren while one of their family members recorded this ordeal. (see picture of car my niece purchased 2 years ago)This so called educator did this and thinks she is going to get away with it!!

Alonzo Jones: Its honestly not the best, but it definitely gives you a challenge. They have this program called the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program that starts in 11th-12th grade, which will exceed the expectation of how good or bad college will be for you. You don't have to be the smartest nor do you have to be the most outgoing. Its about how you think and how you interact with other people. This program is for people who want to develop skills that pushes you to seek knowledge and further your education. --- "The elephant has always been there, it changes color, shape and size every minute."

Morgan Morgan Jefferson: Southwestern isnt really a good or bad school its an ordinary high school mixed in with middle schoolers its not the high school students change just because they have middle school. But if u want to go to a school with middle students that fight everyday at lunch or sometimes after thr lunch bell rings then go right ahead.Im actually enjoying the school because of all the drama i love drama schools like southwestern. Every thing is going quiet well so far who knows what might happen in the next month or two.

Nicholas Counelis: I go to Southwestern and i have to say, it was a good school, but then Flint schools closed McKinley and Homes now Southwestern, Northern, and Northwestern are the only Middle/High schools in the Flint School district. The staff are rude, and security treat you like a suspect. If you like to be searched everyday, and like having hallways crowded so bad it looks like times square on New Years Eve then this is where you want to go for school. plus the books are over 10 years old and are very out of date.

Michael Hayes: This school have different rules that i feel it not fair. My grandson got kick out of school and the other student didn't. My daughter want to have a sit down with the parents, but they said they can't do that. My grandson had this same problem last year with the same student and we are and we try to get to the bottom of the problem.

I cannot comprehend the ignorance that goes on in this school.if i could rate 0 stars i most certainly would.no one's taking the nessacary precautions on making the school a covid free place is completely obsurd and dehumanizing. you're putting your students and their families at HIGH risk by allowing them to attend YOUR school with sick children just so you can make your pretty penny right ? how utterly shameful. I was hoping this learning facility would be different but i guess things never change, shake my head. please. just. do. better.
