Sassy Sassafras: This man is a great doctor! He has saved my husbands life a few times now. He is highly sought after, so it can be difficult to see him, however the wait is worth it. If you unfortunately become the emergency, your family can feel rest assured that you will get the best possible treatment with this man on your team.

Sarahhh: Ran out of my seizure medication due to my own fault, I call to see if I can get a refill, lady gets upset because I ran out without informing them and told me “looks like you’re going to have to have seizures then.” I’ll never forget that. They got some nerve being rude to people with neurological issues.

Tim Johnson: Took my fiancee to Dr tarakji had to wait 2 hours past appt time. When we were called back finally we waited another 45 mins in the patient room. He was very rude. Wouldn't listen. Then proceeds to give her two nerve block shots in back of her head with the same needle without her consent let alone without her or I even knowing!! Every one working there needs to be fired!!!

Abigale Tomczak: If I could give no stars then I would. I have been going here for about a year now and the wait time has been horrible every time. The dr. Doesn’t let you get a word in when he asks you about why you have came in. He is short with people and doesn’t care about others. My wait time every time has been 3 and 1/2 hours. On top of that my drive time is an hour. I am honestly wasting my time just coming here. Dr. Tarakji is not a good doctor!

I could tell he had not read my current MRI report and was totalling unprepared to clearly explain the results. I told him what my report said because I subscribe to my patient portal. I will not go back to him. I am needing neuro surgery and my case is serious. His staff did not answer questions accurately nor satisfactorily. Said" oh Dr. looked at report and must not be serious. WRONG! Don't go there

Erica Brown: Sometimes very rude interaction with office staff. She has refused to accept my calls because I missed an appointment previously. I paid missed appointment fee and begged for an appointment after having 2 strokes. She never reached back out to me. I have medicaid and have limited options on providers. I had memory loss and cognitive issues after getting covid. I was out of work and sick for a year I missed appointment due to not being able to get out of bed. My health has been on a steady decline and I am very frustrated with the treatment I have received from Dr. Tumala. I would never refer anyone to her.

They don’t follow through on scheduling tests or communication about results. Every experience with this office has been very disappointing.

At the time of the referral appointment the Dr accepted our insurance, by the time of appointment they had made changes and no longer accepted it, they never informed me of this information change. Also Dr was very disconnected, when I asked for information on treatment plan I was told “Google it”. Office help was just as rude, AirPods in their ears, prescription to pharmacy and for CT scan never called in or received. Poor poor quality of care!

Je'Kyla Vickers: I believe I’ve been seeing Dr. Tummala for over a year now for my migraines. Before I became a patient of hers she was my grandfather’s neurologist. Working at McLaren I often saw Dr. Tummala a lot so I was already familiar with her. Upon me seeing her I had already been seen by another neurologist that my physician had sent me to but I wasn’t getting any results. So I decided to contact Dr. Tummala office. When I called I was told that she wouldn’t see me because I had previously seen another Dr besides I wouldn’t be able to be seen for months. So I ended up randomly seeing her at McLaren the same day and told her what happened. She told me to call her office back and tell the receptionist that she said to get me in. I was seen by her literally in a day or two. Dr. Tummala is a very good neurologist. I explained to her what I was experiencing and after looking over my mri results she began to prescribe me medications. One of the medications I was hesitant to try because it had to be taken daily. Although a previous Dr tried to prescribe me the same medication he wasn’t as thorough as Dr. Tummala. Dr. Tummala actually took the time to tell me about the medication and went over all the side effects. She gave me some samples before actually writing me a prescription. And told to check in with her I believe after 2 weeks to see if the medication was effective. Everything she has prescribed for me has really helped. Except for the nasal spray I just refuse to put anything up my nose. I’m sure it works but it’s not for me. Every time I call the office about refilling a prescription it’s put in immediately but if it needs prior authorization for insurance purposes it could take longer. But it does get done in a timely manner. And if I run out of medication before everything clears I can go to the office and get samples. I even referred my close friend to her and she loves her too.

I Won't Go into details because it would be a 10 Page Letter. She held off filling Out Papers that my attorney need for a possible medical malpractice case and my 2 year deadline passed. I later found out the she was friends with the 2 Dr.'s the my attorney was going after. So Now I hav serious medical Injuries forthe rest of my life and wasn't compensated for my pain and suffering because of her! So do Not Waste your time!!!

A local hospital recommended her and when I called, the office told me I would be unable to see her as I’ve seen a neurologist in the past and they consider it to be a “second opinion” and Tummala doesn’t do “second opinions”. Rude, rude, rude. I’ve had migraine since I was 9 years old, of course I’ve seen another neurologist before! I’m glad I won’t be seeing her.

sonya bolos: I'd honestly give her 0 stars if I could. She is neglectful in proper treatment of her patients. Brings her Child in with her while giving her patients Botox treaments, and conveniently forgets or neglects to properly fill out insurance paperwork so her patients go months and then YEARS without treatment!!! Only then to still go WITHOUT treatments, STILL be in pain, and cannot work, or get back to a "Normal" productive lifestyle. All the meanwhile, discussing with insurance company and they tell you they still haven't received any information back from the doctor, or that the doctor filled out the paperwork wrong or incomplete!! COMPLETELY Neglected as a patient. I now see a more professional, highly trained and recommended Nurologist who actually has the knowledge of their specialty. Speaking with a lawyer about Dr. Tummala and her direct neglect of my well being and lack of treaments she as a Doctor she failed to help me as a patient.

Janine: I don't think they are even worthy of 1 star if I could rate them zero or negative I would , they more than Double book, try triple book , be prepared for no place to park, no place to sit in the waiting room you will walk in and think your at a concert because the waiting room is so over packed over crowded, be prepared to wait at least 1.5 hours just in the waiting room alone before they call you back. There is litteraly a line at the desk and a line for the restroom, many people complaining the same things long waits no seats, no parking! Here it's not about the patience it's only about how many insurance company's they can bill, your nothing but a file number here not a person to help just a paycheck. If you must go here bring something to do and probably a snack, I wouldn't recommend bringing kids due to everything stated above.

K M: He was amazing he was very caring and the testing I had done was supposed to hurt really bad and it didn't. I couldn't even feel him stabbing me with a needle about 20+ times. He was awesome. Great doctor for sure if ur getting a EMC done go to Dr. Pasupuleti you won't feel a thing get shot hurt more than the emc. Also, is very knowledgeable and will explain everything in a Manor that I wish more doctors had.

I’ve still not had the dr give me any kind of return to work dateSo now my job is hanging in the line with literally mine and my PCPs hands tied waiting on this office.This is NOT concerning dr al-Qasmi but rather another dr in the building and the front desk staff.When I spoke with hospital administrative services they received completely different info than I have received and still no solution or progress was made.I’d rather drive back down over an hour to Detroit to see real professionals who actually listen & care.
