Todd B: Sandra, we've been here for two years now.Since the take over by McLaren Hospital, this has been the worst experience ever.They can't schedule appointments correctly for starters. We get text messages about upcoming appointments and reply to them, and they don't work when canceling upcoming appointments.Appointments just drop off after scheduled for some unknown reasons.Same day, doctors' appointments we can not get treatment the same day as the doctors appointments must come back for a second visit.Chemotherapy patients aren't feeling up to coming out in public twice in one week. Before it was done on the same visit. Only until McLaren took over made it a two visit practice. All for greed, two office visits, means more revenue to pay top executives salaries.This is a huge inconvenience for the patient and the caretakers.Unfortunately, McLaren has lost my confidence in care giving at this facility.

Sandra Reed: Have been at Karamos for two years but sInce McLaren took over patient care is not the same. They over book and you will be sitting in waiting room. If you need a prescription filled don’t call them. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing.Can’t even pay my bill in office have to get billed. If your looking for patient care I suggest a different outfit. McLaren is to big to care about patients only the bottom line.

mary cooper: I traveled from Texas to receive my cancer care at Karmano's. The entire staff is fantastic. They make you feel uplifted everytime you walk in. They are there for every individual. You cN definately tell that they genuinely care about every patient getting the best care possible.

Kennedy Sparr: I only gave one star because zero wasn’t an option. When it has come to my dads treatment, this company has done nothing but drop the ball consistently. My dad has a very aggressive cancer in which he should have started treatment 2 weeks ago, but Karmanos has still not received the “approval” from the insurance but still has not kept trying. I’m reaching out here so other families don’t have to experience what we are experiencing. And in hopes Karmanos will put it together and get the approval. This heartbreak has been enough with finding out my dads cancer has gotten worse, but him sitting here unable to get treatment is even harder on our family and him.

My whole surgical team and aftercare team were amazing.Also I seen Dr Grawal he was fantastic as well.

ashlind may: Walked into the cancer center by mistake because I was taking my boyfriend to the Emergency Room, he could hardly walk and was losing feeling in his feet and the front desk worker laughed out loud and told us we weren’t in the emergency room. Such nice people.. NOT. Going to Detroit next time. This place will be the death of people.

Kimie Potter: These oncologists don't care about their patients. Their "medicine" cost my husband his life. Never again will I ever deal with a doctor who cares more about money than their patients. These doctors were so confident that their "poison" was going to cure my husband's cancer. Not only did it not cure him, it made it worse!!! I can't believe they call themselves doctors.

Angela Miners: First impression was not great. I was sent by a different dr because he was concerned. Dr adams laughed about what the other dr told me and blew it off. He may be well educated but I would not recommend him to anyone.

Chris Nickel: Dr Paul Adams is a straight shooter oncologist who deals with many patients that require treatment of all types. He has treated me and my wife (who was also a patient) with dignity and compassion. He was a part of the team that saved my life in ridding my body of cancer! I would recommend him to my family, friends and anyone needing proper and effective care.

John Madeiros: Dr. Adams has no compassion or empathy for any of his patients. When my father was diagnosed with cancer, he was unsure of the kind of cancer that my father had and did not seem too eager to find out which kind. I find this very difficult to understand when a biopsy was taken of my dad's tissue which clearly shows what kind of cancerous cells are present. He has no bedside manners and when he informed my father that he was terminal, he did not seem to care whatsoever. He chuckled under his breath when my father asked if there was anything that could be done to extend his lifetime. After me and my family began to burst into tears he asked us if we had any questions and I asked him why this was not caught sooner? He specifically told me that he did not have any imaging or anything when all medical documentation is provided on the computers at the hospital and are saved in a database. After my father was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Adams washed his hands with him and was not concerned with our family at all. He did not reach out one bit to us rather he made visits to see my dad with no other intention to make a quick buck for seeing him. Avoid this man at all costs and do NOT let him be involved in any sort of care with you or your family or you will regret it. This man is heartless and very cruel!

tonya hull: Dr. Peram explained my plan to me extensively & made sure I was educated on everything that was going to happen & is always available if I need him. His staff is superb, I love the Chemo nurses & they are very attentive & all are caring - Victoria is very resourceful and helpful. I truly feel like I am getting the BEST CARE!!

Lorelei DuBois: I find the doctor himself very hard to understand. I have a south Indian "son" and family so I do have a good grasp of an Indian accent. . . Not this man!

Octavia Spiller: My mother went to get a second opinion from Dr. Peram in September 2022 of this year for Multiple Myeloma. He shared with us his treatment approach and recommended starting treatment. My mother went into the hospital a week later after the visit with Dr. Peram. Dr. Peram didn’t come to visit my mother in the hospital or get in contact with Hurley hospital to express concern about her care. Please run from this doctor. He don’t care about patients. Just money hungry!!!!!!!!!!

Brian Sparks: No communication in the office. This is the biggest problem! Brandy is dumber than a box of rocks. She never knows what's going on because she is too busy doing her own thing and doesn't want to be bothered. She's a terrible receptionist...never greets the patients or smiles. (like she's supposed to do) She never looks up from her computer when patients come in. And she brings her dog to work! Dogs have no place in an office setting!

Cori Foster: Dr. Szyarto is an amazing doctor! He is so caring and compassionate. He’s just an awesome doctor who seems to value his patients. He takes the time to speak with his patients directly when you aren’t in the office for an appointment instead of having a nurse or someone else do it. He’s really just the best! Definitely recommend him!!

Essence Of Eden: After trying to solve the mystery of what I actually have for two years and even going to Mayo Clinic this doctor is among the top of my favorites. He hasn’t given up on me like many have, he listens and will work with you to develop a plan taking what you want into account. I absolutely feel confident seeing this doctor! He has great bedside manner which is hard to find anymore.

As a nursing student, I know for a fact that Dr. Szyarto had access to all of my father's medical records which included lesions that were found on his lungs a year prior. I find it odd that prior to him seeing my father he did not take the extra time or effort to look further into my father's chart.When my father was placed in in home hospice care, Dr. Szyarto was assigned to take care of him. My father was cared for by Reverence hospice. I tried contacting Dr. Szyarto personally as my father was experiencing a lot of pain due to his cancer. He was receiving Dilaudid prior to his hospice care. Dr. Szyarto never returned my phone calls and I even drove up to the Cancer Institute to speak with him. He kept pushing off my fathers pain and gave him Morphine which did not suppress his pain. After my father was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Szyarto washed his hands with him and was not concerned with our family at all. He did not reach out one bit to us and pawned all of his work off on the nurses taking care of my father. Avoid this man at all costs and do NOT let him be involved in any sort of care with you or your family or you will regret it. This man is heartless and very cruel!

Karen Birner: I absolutely love Dr Eilender ,he is the only one I will see there.He is clearly knowledgeable in his field, He takes the time to go over your health history, explain things to you, explains and gives you options for your care and lets YOU decide what treatment you want/prefer, if any. he also has a pretty good sense of humor. I highly recommend him

Dennis Hosang: What an amazing doctor. He showed compassion, care and concern for my wife. He hasn't given up and he showed nothing but dedication to find what is making her sick. I want us to ONLY work with him but since he is part of a group, we aren't always guaranteed to work with him alone. He also sent results to the top Dr at Karmanos to validate findings and see if they can find anything more than he did. Everything I would expect from a doctor.
