Just have to say I've been back 2 days in a row and even set an app for a covid test to clear my son to go back to school. Been left waiting a ridiculous amount of time both times? Thought it was appointments before walk-ins??? Not according to the ladies at the front desk!

Dayonna Ward: Doctor Mawri is AMAZING. My daughter has been seeing him since after she was born and now she is three years old. He has a great personality and is always in good spirits. He usually comes in singing and dancing and my daughter loves it. He takes him time and makes sure my daughter is taken care of. The part I love the most is, out of all the patients he see, he remembers my family when we come in. I have nothing but love for him.

I understand each practice has its policy, but that approach is inconsiderate of the struggle of the minor's parents and how to deal with my child's tantrum, and they didn't ask me what was reason for the no-show.

Melissa Yake: If I could give zero stars I would. We loved Dr. Mawri when we first started going to him but as he started expanding to other locations we only saw his PA or nurse practitioner. We made the decision to switch to a pediatrician closer to our house since we weren’t seeing Dr. Mawri at our appointments.Fast forward 3 months and our daughter needed urgent care so we took her to Mawri’s urgent clinic. They REFUSED to see our 3yo at the urgent care because we moved to another pediatrician. You can’t call yourself an urgent care if this is your practice and what kind of Dr. has this kind of policy in place for his “urgent care clinic?” I will never recommend him to anyone ever again.

Christina Martin: I am unbelievably disappointed in this office. My 17 year old was a patient from his birth to adolescent years along with my 13 year old daughter. My newborn also became a patient here up until recently. I had discussions multiple times with Dr. Holloway regarding the fact that I am not antivax but I only will do one vaccination at a time. They always say if there is a bad reaction to a vaccination report it. How are you supposed to report a problem when you are giving a dose of vaccine for 7 different things at a time. My last visit was for a shot. The supposed vaccine specialist as she referred to herself started out telling me how my son is way behind on his shots. Which is false. I was there to get his pentacel. The following month was his pneumococcal. I had done one Rotavirus and decided to not do the second considering the possible side effects are the same as the prevention. Not to mention at this appointment my son was 35 weeks old.. the maximum age is 32 weeks and not a day over. Thank God i didn't let this so called specialist give it to him. Hell she didn't even realize how old he was.After being lectured on my right to decide on my child's health. He received his shot we scheduled are following appointment and left. Received a letter two days later. They have canceled his appointment and will no longer be seeing him until I am ready to follow there schedule. Sad to see that doctors actually believe they should be making our decisions for us. Especially on something like this.

Madison Robinson: We have seen Dr. Sankaran for 16 years and have ALWAYS loved her as a provider. Like everyone else, we’ve had our run ins with her staff. However, our most recent issue is just upsetting. We went in for a simple checkup and when the MA said my 16 year old daughter is due for Meningitis, Hep A and HPV vaccine. I responded that i wanted to go speak with my husband before making this decision. Mind you, my daughter has received majority of vaccines in her childhood. Dr. Sankaran came in and proceeded to tell us that if she didn’t receive these vaccines we’d have to find a new doctor. I received a letter this afternoon that they are firing us as patients “because she is not comfortable with continuing a parent/physician relationship with anyone who does not want to follow the recommendations of American Academy of Pediatrics Guidelines.... it is my job as a physician to protect my patients from these serious diseases”Absolutely heartbroken that we aren’t allowed a say in our own medical treatment.

Lisa Morningstar: We have seen dr.Holloway for over five years now. Since moving out of state getting any type of help from their office staff about shot records or balance payment has been very disappointing. I tried to call to pay our remaining balance and was told the person who did that was not in the office. The fact that only one office staff member can process a payment is a bit concerning. Then when I try to call back to make the payment they have shut the phones off at least 20 minutes before they close for lunch. When our current doctor asked for our child's last well visit info they sent me a letter with a bill for $25 before they would fax over anything... I understand most places charge a fee but $25 seems steep. Hoping I can finally get my balance paid off and move on with our lives.

Cassie Spicer: Tried to schedule an appointment, the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and not helpful at all. Acted like I was nuisance when I didnt know what doctor I wanted my son to be seen by and I said which ever has the first open availability. Not a good first impression and I will be taking my son else where!

Samantha Waite: I hate having to give this review because Dr. Holloway is a phenomenal doctor. My boys have been seen by him and his office since they were babies and my oldest is 15. I am extremely disappointed with how hard it is to get a hold of anybody to make an appointment. They say office opens at 9am, but yet they do not have the phones turned on at that time. There needs to be a better system in place for the phones. How many times should I have to try to call and get through? I called 18times yesterday before the phones were on.

MS: I want to respond to the parents who mentioned that we don't answer our phones. We have six incoming lines that do get answered. Depending on the time of day (first in morning or after school) these lines get quite busy. Depending on what is going on such as flu we also get many phone calls. We do have two phone lines 733-0400 and 733-0610 so if one isn't being answered please try the other one. It is frustrating when this happens but know we do care about your providing good service. Thanks.

They told me they were booked until 3 in the afternoon, standing room only. I said I had driven 20 minutes already and was 5 minutes away I wasn't going home I would sit and wait. We got there and there wand no one at all around except employees! I don't know if it is the doctors or just the office staff. But I am looking for a new pediatrician.

dylan welch: Took my daughter here for 2 years, long wait times and not the best hours. Had a 2nd baby and tried getting him in and got denied because he isn’t vaccinated. Daughter is t vaccinated either and they had no clue, told us she couldn’t come into the office and get her checkups. Very displeased with the service and long wait times here. Would recommend to find something more accommodating with less wait times

Alyssa Lunsford: Dr. Sanchez and Dr. Horning are both amazing pediatricians. My son is now seven months old and I am incredibly grateful to have them as his doctors. Since day one, they have made a very open and comfortable environment for me to ask questions. As a new mom, I have a lot of questions and concerns and they have addressed all of them and eased my worries. You often hear from other parents about how their pediatrician makes them feel like a bad parent, but that is not the case here. These women are both very caring and understanding and they’ve never made me feel intimidated in asking questions. My son was also sick at two months old during a holiday break and Dr. Sanchez called me back and addressed my concern very quickly. She also made sure that I got a follow up appointment set up with them once they were back in office. In addition, whenever I had questions concerning my son, I always get a call back from the medical assistant who gives me advice in how to treat the problem or has me bring my son in for evaluation. The office staff and medical assistants are all amazing as well. My son is currently sick and I called and was able to get him in the same day. I am very grateful for TLC Pediatrics.

I've been with them 8 years (since the day my son was born) and couldn't be happier. I'm already dreading the day he ages out and I have to try and fill their enormous shoes.

I wasn't looking forward to finding a new doctor for them, but we couldn't be happier! Dr. Ali and her staff make sure our boys are taken care of. They noticed something on my daughter that the doctors at hurley medical never even noticed for 3 weeks being in NiCU. That day I knew I did the right thing by bringing my newborn here. They are so sweet and they interact with my baby very gentle and with smiles! I can't be any happier with the decision to come here! My daughter has been having stomach problems since birth and a BIG thank you is in store for Dr.Lindsay and Dr.Ali because now she's not in any more pain! I really can't thank yall enough!! ❤️❤️❤️ my baby girl will be coming here for years to come and if I have any more babies this will be my first choice 10/10!! Danielle is her name and she is just not enthused to be there, she’s rude and I feel like she should have a different attitude working a pediatrics office. Rachel Darr: Office staff is wonderful, however Dr. Ali rushes you along and doesn't work with you and your child. We asked for something our first visit and she stated absolutely, then when we got to our second visit she stated absolutely not. She pretends to know things and doesn't. She evades questions and doesn't provide clear answers. When asked about formula recommendations she pretended to know about ingredients and spouted off random micronutrients when we were discussing macros. I would have respected her more if she was honest about everything to begin with and just stated I don't know when she didn't know something.

Sarah Jane: We had our first visit with her today and I'm extremely pleased with the Doctor. She was very thorough and just loved on my 1 month old baby. It's very obvious she enjoys her job. Also, they're not pushy when it comes to vaccines and such, they allow you to do things on the schedule you see fit. I highly recommend.

Jessica Edmonds: Today was our 2.5 year old’s 1st new patient visit with Dr. Ali & I must say she was amazing with our daughter! She went from screaming & crying when her previous pediatrician tried to check her out to letting Dr. Ali, a complete stranger, entirely check her out for a solid 5 minutes, not only without putting up a fight, but even high fiving her and telling her yes when Dr. Ali asked to check out her ears, mouth, nose etc. Harlow loved her so we love her! The entire office is also so kid friendly with toys, stickers etc. and I do like that there is a separate area for sick kids!! I’m so happy with our choice to come here!

The well child waiting room kept my son well occupied while I filled out paperwork. The nurse who took vitals was very patient with a 2 year old who did not want his temperature taken. Dr. Ali was great with him and didn't push when he didn't want to comply with some of the exam. She was laid back yet professional, quick yet thorough. The entire office was very understanding and respectful of our vaccine choice. 100% recommend!

I WISH THEY WOULD BE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE CHILDREN’S HEALTH AND TAKE THE CORRECT ACTIONS AS THEY SHOULD TO MAKE SURE THE KIDS ARE STAYING HEALTHY AND WORRY LESS ABOUT HOW MANY PATIENTS ARE BEING SEEN A DAY.

Audrey Deming: Receptionists are always extremely rude and disrespectful.Drs ignored my daughters severe dairy allergy that she had since birth; told me basically that I was a first time mom and didn’t know what I was talking about.Said I would never go back.3 years later had my son and just scheduled an appointment out of Convenience when we left the hospital. Again ignored what I had witnessed and was told ‘I’ve been a Dr for 20 years and I’ve seen it all. This is normal.’Turns out it yet again was not normal. Always trust your instincts and get a second opinion. Also DONT use this Drs office.

Amanda Coon: I loved Dr Murphy and I am a fan of Dr Allyn's. However, the administrative staff here are absolutely the worst. They take condescending and rude to a whole new level. Half the time they don't turn off the answering machine, so getting through to the office to make appointments is terribly difficult. I wish I had changed to a different pediatrician when Dr Murphy retired. Now I just feel like I am stuck here until my oldest ages out.

Tabatha Dehmel: It actually pains me to write this review. Dr. Simmert is an AMAZING doctor, and has been my pediatrician for nearly 10 years. All of the other Dr's there as well are great. However today I called to get my daughter in and was told they no longer accept our insurance (bummer) so I asked the receptionist if she happened to know of any offices in the area that did, very snotty she told me "NO". I asked if she would be able to tell me in a guesstimate of what I would have to pay out of pocket to have my daughter seen, as she is sick and needs to be seen. Again the response was very rude as she scoffed and basically said she didn't know. Mind you most people don't call their child's doctor just for the fun of it...Maybe tell me you aren't sure and transfer me to billing or someone who may be able to tell me. I just offered to pay out of pocket to have my child seen. I can assure you I will not call back to that office ever again.

Z J: Amazing office saw a Dr from here at the hospital when my wife gave birth to our daughter. She is 15 months old now and we have had amazing experiences there. If you want to be seen right away you need to let them know you don't care who sees you. All the doctors are really good their. The only person I ever had a problem with was a PA named Ashley that wanted to argue with me that todler formula isn't as good as just whole milk. Besides that they have always taken care of my daughter really well. When she had to have her ears cleaned out, which toddlers hate, the Dr was really nice about it and took his time. It wasn't just hold her down and scrape out her ears he took his time. When she had a bad rash and we couldn't determine what it was the Dr went through a dermatology journal with me explaining what tp watch for for the ones it most closely resembled. The office is great and it is not an in and out money mill type office they take there time and care about the patients. The doctors are really knowledgeable and able to answer question were some Dr i have been to in the past just type stuff into a computer. I actually had a Dr that used web MD before. These doctors know there stuff and if by some chance they don't they can consult the other doctors. Having multiple doctors there is amazing and we have seen all of them. Best thing to do is make an appointment though, walk-ins obviously would take a bit longer.

Travis Eberhart: Doctors were OK except for the time they ignored a flat spot on my son's head that my wife pointed out. We were told it wasn't a big deal. We later found out it was caused by torticollis. Average wait time to see a Dr is about 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment. Kids don't like to sit idle that long. The receptionists are mostly rude. We put up with it for over a year but the last straw was when we called ahead and took my son there on a Saturday because he was very sick. They left and locked the doors without telling us. Shows an obvious lack of care for our son and complete lack of professionalism I would expect. UPDATE: Shortly after leaving this truthful and negative review, the office sent me a letter telling me how it was unprofessional how I 'missed' the previously mentioned appointment. And then they sent our $66 medical bill to collections. It's sad that the office seems to have more passion for getting revenge on negative reviews than they had for the health of my child. Oh and my older son had his first appointment at his new pediatrician and we found out he has knock knees. Stay far away from this place!

Christina Eberhart: I've been going to this office ever since my first son was born and I've been saying I wanted to find somewhere else because the wait time is always too long. Well today, they made me realize I really needed to go somewhere else! They do not care about their patients and that was made clear to me today. I called at 9:30 and asked if I could bring my son in because he was sick. I was asked how far away I lived and I told the office 20 minutes and was told to come in and they would put me on the schedule. I wasn't given an appointment time, just was told to come in. The office called me at 10:18 asking if I was still coming and I told them yes, but my son was sleeping when I called and I had to wake him, feed him and other things (I have a 3 month old as well) the office tells me they will keep an eye out for me. My husband got to the office with our son at 10:45 and they were gone. The doors were locked, the phones were off. I left a voicemail on the emergency line and the Dr did give me a call back but not to apologize, he argued with me on why they left and that it was ok! So the year and a half I've been going to this place I've always been on time, always had to wait in the room for an hour or more but the one time I guess I'm running late even though I wasn't given a time to come in, they leave. Let me just add the staff is rude and it takes the nurses forever to come back in after the Dr leaves to do vaccines. *Update!* They actually sent me a letter in the mail saying my no show was unacceptable! It's comical really. I wouldn't of been a no show if they wouldn't of left without telling me. What a childish practice.

We have never felt rushed out of the office. My only complaint is that the waiting room and bathrooms need a good cleaning. Dr. Simmert and Dr. Chrenka is my son's favorite. Breanna Bartholomew: The Children's Office was my doctor office from 5 to 18, and now I'm 22 and bring my own daughter here. The staff is always extremely kind, patient, and considerate. The longest I've ever had to wait was 15 minutes, tops. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Taylor Mason: I love this doctor's office. The doctor's are amazing and my son loves them. The wait time to get in a pretty fast. When I need a last minute appointment they get me in right away. I love that they are open Saturdays for emergencies! I never have to take my child the after hours clinic!

Jessica Goodrich: All four of my daughters have seen these doctors since the day they were born. One has now "graduated" out of the office. They are always good about answering questions and take the time you need in the rooms to do a thorough job. They explain things to the kids as well to try to put them at ease. They even worked to squeeze in a foster son of ours because we wanted him to have the best doctors just as our children had. I have nothing but great things to say!

I’ll truly be sad when my youngest is too old for his practice, he holds a special place in all our hearts. John Crayton: I hate to bad mouth ppl but Dr. Alajaj misdiagnosed my children 2 times and always just seemed to dismiss alot of concerns every time i took my kids there. It was always "just allerigies" or "no big deal" to him. I just got a new doc for my children because he decided he was going to get rude to my childrens mother because he said he would be in the Flint office in the morning and when she drove all the way there he wasnt there and he treated her like it wasnt his problem. Long story short, hes a very lazy doctor anf i wouldbt recommend this place to ANYONE!

Chasity Mack: Dr. Alajaj himself is a nice Dr. And one staff member with short hair n glasses she does shots, she's great. But the secretary or receptionist what ever her title is. She is absolutely horrible to deal with. She's very snappy n rude, not only over the phone but in person. I have considered switching Drs a few times because of her, and today I have had it. I am officially changing drs. If he ever gets rid of her, I would be happy to come back.

Heather Knowles: The Dr. Is amazing. Great with my kids and very nice. The receptionist on the other hand has been very rude to me more than once. She will talk and be nice to the kids buy very judgmental and rude to parents. And not just me, my sister takes her children there too and has had the same problem. Thinking about switching doctors because of having to deal with her. It is a shame because the kids and I do love the Doctor and nurse so much.

Julie Sturgeon: Found out i needed vaccinations for my child, I didn't realize any were due till I received a letter from our school saying they were needed by the 30th, it is the 12th, and was subtlety laughed at by the person answering the phone. Apparently they are booked, which is all she had to say. No offer to help or put on a back up list, nothing but leaving me to find somewhere else to go which is what i will do. Been our Dr for 12 years. We love the doctor!!! But wow.

Dana Daaboul: Best Docter I have ever met!!!Very nice staff, and friendly.The doctor is always welling to to help with anything you or your child need help with. She always make sure I aske all the questions I have, and she answers them all. She explain everything to you and make sure you understand.She is a very caring person.And you tell she is working from the bottom of her heart!I wouldn't wanna leave this amazing team, but we moved to a different state! I highly recommend her! ❤️

Comedian L Hendrix: So Dr. Hammoud has been my kids doctor for 7 years and it's time for a new one. 7 years ago the office was the best place for my kid who at the time was born premature. Long story short fast foward until present day and I dread being at that office. Waiting times now are through the roof and you have a waiting room full of sick kids running around. So If you're going for a simple checkup or physical your kids WILL get sick (this has happened). On top of that only 1 of the staff actually knows what's going on. You call for documents needed for your kids to goto school/daycare a few days later you're informed by the school that they only recieved 1 document out of 3 and they need them before you can bring the kids. Now you call the doctor and they say it will be sent again. 2 days later your kids still aren't in school because you're waiting on paperwork. I called at 330 and said my daycare is going to drop the kids if we don't have the paperwork in today they say no problem we'll send it now. This was at 330. Around 430 I was so upset they hadn't recieved the documents still that I decided to drive to the office and have them full it out. On my way I kept calling the office and no-one was answering. All of a sudden a car rear ends me while I'm leaving a voice mail for the office. I must admit getting hit by a car while leaving a voicemail wasn't in my plan and probably didn't sound too good for the listener. I called and left another voicemail that I was in a accident that could have been avoided by simply keeping YOUR WORD. I was highly upset and simply said that the doctor must be watching the kids on monday since they simply lied and said everything was sent. I made it to the office at 5 to find out they closed at 3 o clock that day. So why at 330 would they say they were sending it? The doctor calls yesterday and says she need to see the kids to send that paperwork....What is going on??? How was it being sent 3 times but now you need to see them? Oh and today i was informed that my kids can no longer been seen by this doctor because my voicemails were unprofessional........Its a joke save your time and find someone who doesn't just walk in the room for 3 mins and move into the next patient. And who has a professional courteous staff who cares about YOUR TIME as much as they do theirs.

Jackie King: My daughter has been a patient of Dr Hammoud since birth. Both my daughter and I think very highly of her. She has a very pleasant bedside manner. She really cares about her patients and has competently treated my daughter over the years. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for pediatric care for their child.

My children's care has been lead with her professional opinion of care first, but Dr. Hammoud allows me the opportunity for my opinions, concerns and thoughts to be respected and heard.She knows parents know their children!So it is always a Team Effort!

Hammoud - We had to switch doctors because ultimately when we really needed something done we were faced with a very stubborn front, unprofessional staff, and even patronized as parents. I had a full detail review written up but it's not worth it. We found a new doctor that really made our situation seem simple. If you are having issues with Dr. Hammoud or her staff just remember there are plenty of other doctors. It took about 5 minutes to switch our insurance over.

Mr. Busy: Attention New parents with a newborn...read this:In search for a pediatrician for our newborn son we stumbled upon Dr. Manar Hammoud's office. Her website boasts access to her office 24 hrs a day 7 days a week and shows and eagerness to accept new patients. Being a busy, working father this appealed to my schedule. However this claim could not be further from the truth.We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hammoud on a Thursday & were greeted by her friendly staff upon arrival. Unfortunately their cheery disposition did not reflect the nature of the Dr. Who operates out of this facility.Dr. Hammoud spoke to us in a short, condescending, & rude nature. She did not seem eager to help us with the questions we had. In-fact, we felt as if we we're being reprimanded for asking questions.Additionally, we were redirected to a lab that same afternoon. We were told that Dr. Hammound needed to see us the following day @ 1:15pm. Although it was short notice and difficult with my work schedule we agreed.The next day around 11:30am we had been contacted by Dr. hammoud's office telling us that we needed to visit the lab again & return by 12.30pm. Not only is this OUTRAGEOUSLY short notice (especially for a working dad) it is a physical impossibility to make it from Morrice Mi (where my work is located) , to the lab in Fenton MI, complete the testing at the lab and return the results to Dr. Hammoud's office in Flint MI without a rocket-ship.Explaining this to her, after much negotiation and in an exasperated tone she agreed upon our original time of 1:15pm.Keep in mind we have a newborn, just over a week old. Being new parents we're still getting used to our new baby boy's schedule. Being caring parents we did our best to make sure that our boy's health and safety were accounted for. After a hastily preformed NASCAR pitstop style diaper change we were on the road with a clean baby with a clean diaper properly buckled into the infant setting in his car seat.Now, you would think that a PEDIATRICIAN of all people would be understanding of the obstacles a baby puts before a new parent. We were running 10 minutes late. We called ahead to Genesee Pediatrics to Dr. Manar Hammoud to let her know that we were running behind.Instead of thanking us for the courtesy call she instead reprimanded us for not being on time & in a ridiculous attempt to punish us, in her rude condescending tone told us to take our baby to emergency.Knowing that our baby was not in need of emergency medical attention we instead looked for other options.Since Dr. Manar Hammoud was unwilling to wait 10 minutes to see our baby boy we decided that we also couldn't wait another 10 minutes to find a new pediatrician.I couldn't see myself telling my son "ok, its time to go see grumpy ol' Dr. Hammoud for your appointment"If you have ANY other option I recommend you take it. Dr. Hammoud could stand to learn a lesson in common courtesy, manners & human decency.If I could rate negative stars i would. The one star rated on this review is at least 1 too many.
