Aisha Changezi: Clean environment, nice collection of inventory and most of all, best customer service. The couple who run the business are so kind and generous, you hardly see that around these days! If you’re looking for something special, let them know. They will be more than happy to bring it for you. I highly recommend them! Oh btw, they make fresh bread too!!

M Smith: Hands-down the best specialty grocery store in the Flint area - not taking anything away from other local stores, such as Kamil's, which has some great sandwiches made to order. I have found the owners at Sinbad's especially helpful. I've asked questions about meals I want to make, and he (the owner) has always taken his time to walk around the store with me and help me buy the right ingredients and explain how to cook them. Sometimes he offers advice that I didn't ask for, and that leads to incredible results, often with just a few simple suggestions. More than once, I've tried to describe a mid-eastern or eastern Mediterranean dish I've had, and Sinbad's always has come through with great advice. (I'm a white guy, born and raised in Flint and of western European ancestry, so I'm a novice with food from that part of the world.) It's worth a quick trip from I-75 if you're passing through town. If you're lucky enough to stop by when they have homemade bread on the counter, you'll shop there whenever you get the chance. First class operation!

Khadija Qureshi: The store was super clean and very well organized. This is the first ever halal meat store which had a fragrance in its air unlike other stinky meat shops. The owner is very friendly and polite and bakes delicious fresh bread. You can find a diverse range of Indian, Pakistani, and Arabic sweets and masalas here. It was a wonderful experience and I am delighted to have found a halal meat and grocery shop in the vicinity of my home. The parking is ample too. I highly recommend this business.

CJ Sum: Magdy was soooo friendly! I pass by this store all the time and Finally decided to stop and when I tell you the pita bread from this place is absolutely amazing. They have the strawberry banana juice it was so delicious that I literally had to go back and buy several more for later. I also purchased pre-seasoned chicken to put on the grill and it was seasoned to Perfection threw it on the grill & made a chicken & bacon pita with pepper jack cheese and used Ghughes sweet chili sauce. Yummy!!!!! My new go to spot!

Janet J: Would actually love to share what this place is like however, we have been here two days out of the week and every time you come there closed during the business hours they list online and on the door)Today calling to confirm that they're open phone goes directly to voicemail -- that they are not accepting calls. The other day we were here, called four times on the 5th call a young lady answered the phone and said they're closed however their signed on the door says they were open with their hours and she hung up the phone. People have little money to spend during these unprecedented times by making choices to try to support small businesses but small businesses have to be open for them to get support; just business 101.
