germanservicepaws: Two guards at the Soo Locks wouldn't let me in because of my service dog. They were discriminating against me and were asking questions against the law. After their superiors let me in, they continued to harass me and embarrass me in front of lots of people causing my anxiety and PTSD into a bad thing for me. This was my first time coming up here and it will definitely be my last.

Lisa S: The way some guards act towards staff are ridiculous. Coming into a hospital they represent a company and should be caring and kind. If you can’t handle the job maybe you should find another place to work. It’s sad to see a guard who is a higher up treating others badly. Definitely not a place I would want to work for.

My family member is now retaining a lawyer and they have been reported to the Labor Dept and the Better Business Bureau!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Teachout Security has some wonderful officers aka security guards but that is the ONLY thing good about Teachout. The upper management does NOT care about the entry level employees/guards. I have a family member that worked there. She said that Teachout can't keep guards due to the way they treat them. They just got in trouble for not paying guards while on the clock. They made her use her own car for sitting in a parking lot over night in the winter. She had to run the car to keep warm but they never paid for gas. She had to use her car for jobs that required a vehicle. One trick they pull is they lower your hours to 10 hours. My daughter told them she was going to file unemployment so magically her hours increased. They never have your back. They don't know what each site, the job entailed. Bottom line: NOT a good company to work for.

There was an older guy in charge in flint that was mad at the world it seemed like and took it out on his guards. I vowed I'd never work for this company again however it's in a hospital setting and different city so maybe things and people are better in pontiac.
Todd Morley: I just recently met with the folks at Teachout Security & was pleasantly surprised to find out all of the companies that they service. They not only care about their high quality employees, but they sincerely care about all their clients protection. I will will say that they are not the absolute lowest price, but they are the best value I've found. If security is what you are looking for, you won't need to look much further. I also learned that the company is expanding their security forces & looking for well disciplined individuals seeking a career in the public safety field. Eric The Explorer: These people turned me around at the gates I believe because I was white and I was trying to enter the Evergreen Regency when I live in public housing myself for the last 13 years it's been hell trust me I know that I live in a place where I don't belong but there was no reason for them to get ugly like that tell me to turn around and go back where I came from cuz I got no business here you can carry your weapons and you can try to intimidate me but that doesn't intimidate me sir you can't use that weapon on me if I didn't do anything and of course you would have your buddies I'll say that I did or got crazy but since I had my wife with me in the front seat to collaborate my story he would have been up a creek that's one of the reasons why I think we got out that day we have family in there and they know it they just moved in but they still know it very been there no 13 years like me but that shouldn't matter!

Endya Jourdan: I personally would NEVER work for this company. Nicole is amazing but upon meeting the supervisor, Tammy I immediately knew this would be a disaster. First I waited for an hour & a half because she had forgotten that I was there for an interview then proceeds to give me the basic what to expect which one of them I find disturbing which is hair color. Her exact words “Not to have a clown come up to you than a person”……..??? Very inappropriate. Hair color shouldn’t mean ANYTHING. Base professionalism off of a persons behavior. Their demeanor NOT because of a hair color. My hair is currently brown but I sometimes color my hair and SHOULD NOT be judged just because of a COLOR. I looked at her & laughed and was ultimately disgusted.
Jonathan Robinson: I was working at the truck stop they failed too tell all employees they loss the contract on Valentine's day and never said anything we found out through the Managers at the Flying J. Very inconsiderate.

Drew Wilburn: I had recently applied to teach out security and Ian Thomas had scheduled an interview with me at 1:00 I had arrived at 12:50 and was waiting until 2:35 before I had decided to leave. After Ralph the security director told me he was going to the the bathroom and would be with me in a moment,25 minutes later I start to walk out and saw him laughing with some co workers. I felt like the interview had no importance to them and the situation was extremely unprofessional. After wasting almost 2 hours of my time and gas along with the fact that the description for the listed job was inaccurate i can officially say I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Myron T. Miller: Very prompt service with walk-in service. Had my fingerprints done here with lifescan for a new employer. A bit higher than others but I'd definitely recommend, especially if you dont want to drive too far out.
