Toni Hiney: Didn't want to give one star either, what a whack job stitches I received after 2 trigger fingers release surgery,,wish I could share a picture, but thank goodness that I will be going somewhere else to get this fixed,,just had surgery yesterday but felt really weird when numbness wore off. joe blow: Just had hernia surgery on an inguinal hernia with him. Was worried by the reviews left here. For no reason. He was always quick and to the point, and polite. Was never a long wait for appointments at his office. In and out.
Susan Huffman: Don’t even deserve one star. Very rude . If you go to him take your own bandage and alcohol swab he tells you to go home and put a bandage on it. Just rips off the one he put on after surgery. My son went to him for hernia surgery .

Unbelievable, office staff was professional, and polite. But I strongly recommend if you can help it give elsewhere. Completely disgusted with the lack of information I was given, and the way I was spoken to. I wouldn't recommend him to ANYONE!!

Scott Giles: I was referred to Dr.Alghanem for a sacra flap surgery by my infectious control Dr.Raygada in Midland,MI. My wife was asked to join me at my appointment upon my second appointment seeing him he schedule my surgery, but had to reschedule due to me getting a infection. Surgery was first scheduled for 9/3/20 then due to an infection got rescheduled for 9/22/20 at Hurley Medical Center. Doctor explained again to my wife and I what was going to happen to me and that I would be in extreme pain. He got that nail right on the head cause I was in in extreme pain is a under statement. The pain at times was unbearable the whole time while i at the hospital, when the nurses didn't follow his orders he let them know he was very unpleased that they weren't following his orders. He was in everyday to do his own dressing changes. I finally got to go back to nursing facility I was staying at before my surgery.I go back to see him too get my stitches and staples out on 10/9/20 at his office.He is a very passionate doctor with a great bedside manner and cares about the care of his patients, especially if his orders aren't followed properly he wants to know why.I would recommend him to anyone that needs to see a plastic surgeon. He has treated me and my wife with upmost respect as a patient and answers all of our questions when asked and so you can understand what is going to happen.He is a awesome doctor in mine and my wife's book that's for sure.Again thank you too you and your staff doctor for all you have done for me and my wife.

Jennie Walker: My husband had to have a procedure done today they made him sit in there for a half hour until they verified our insurance and forced us to pay almost $500 upfront before they would do any procedure the billing representative was incredibly rude the doctor came in and said I’m doing the procedure because he cares about his patients I had to pay the $500 before they billed my insurance and could not provide me with an itemized receipt for my FSA because they could not do that my FSA card is locked waiting for them to bill my insurance I would’ve been happy to pay the balance once my insurance was billed but now I have to wait for a refund back from them Sometimes office staff need to be removed or be reminded that patients are that doctors well-being

Dr. Alghanem came highly recommended by friends and family. He did an amazing job with my abdomen. My tummy tuck is better than I thought was possible. I still can hardly believe it! Dr Alghanem is gentle and kind. I am so happy and I highly recommend him.

I assume all doctors know what they are doing but Dr. Gemayel was able to communicate it to me in a way that was very clear and easy to understand. He also provided me with some treatment right there in the office, which was surprising but very welcome.The entire Ortho office at Insight was pretty quiet. The front desk woman as well as the woman at checkout were really nice. It was very clean, which is right on par with the rest of Insight's facility.I always like going to Insight and now I like going to Dr. Gemayel because I know he and his staff will take good care of me.

Jeffrey Hill: I dealt with internal hemorrhoids for over a decade. Saw two other doctors who made no difference at all with their procedures. Dr Mattingly took care of me in two visits to his office. I wish I had gone to see him years ago. If you are dealing with hemorrhoids, do yourself a favor and go see Dr Mattingly.
Marilyn Hess: "Dr. Mattingly is very friendly and easy to talk to. He explained how my husband's surgery would be performed. He was very easy to understand everything he was telling us. Surgery went great and I highly recommend him. I see others complain about his office staff. We have had absolutely no issues. They are very polite and helpful. It is a little hard to get through sometimes on the phone but people need to understand this is a surgeon's office and the staff does more then just schedule appointments. They also deal with insurances, setting up surgeries, dealing with hospital personnel. They do a lot. I think they have been great. Thank you for your care.Marilyn

Autumn Nemitz: The most unprofessional medical office I've ever been to. I was referred to him but couldn't get through to his office after calling them for a week, so finally had to contact Ascension for them to get in touch with his office for me. Dr. Mattingly called me back personally and left a voicemail apologizing about how I couldn't get through to schedule an appointment and to come in today at 9:30 AM, which I actually respected.However, when I showed up, there was no record of an appointment for me and the receptionist had no information about Dr. Mattingly calling me to come in. She told me that once he comes in for the day, she would speak with him about "squeezing me in". I continued to wait for 90 minutes until 11:00AM without being informed by reception what was going on. I asked for an update at that time which I was told there were no updates, but that I was the next patient to be seen. I told them I had been waiting for 90 minutes already and that I had to take time off of work for this and could not wait much longer. The receptionist with responded "sorry" and nothing else. Her and the other receptionist continued to talk about how they don't have sympathy for patients with hemorrhoids because everyone has them and they're not that big of a deal so those patients can wait, saying all off this within very close earshot of a waiting room full of patients. I waited an additional 10 minutes and eventually had to leave since I scheduled for only a half day off work. I wasted so much time and gas money over this appointment for absolutely nothing.

Tiffany Dysinger: Was NOT impressed with my experience with Dr. Kia.... I was experiencing pain from an umbilical hernia and failed gallbladder. With g the consultation he was very sexist and dismissive of my hernia stating things like "I can fix it but it's just gonna rupture again...." and that I needed to do as many sit-ups as I could to get rid of my abdominal separation, which is literally the WORST thing you could do for that. He did my operation on Dec 20th and by the 24th, the hernia repair failed. When I consulted with a second doctor, I was told he only put 3 stitches in to hold it and they were the dissolving kind. My 2nd doctor stated that Dr. Kia did not do the procedure correctly. Even more than that was just Dr. Kia's dismissive attitude. He didn't care at all. I had my surgery on a Friday and he told my I was good to go back to normal on Monday! My 2nd doctor put me on restrictions for 1 month and followed up for 90 days!........ I would not recommend Dr. Kia to anyone!

TAMMY PARDO: Dr. Kia and his staff were great! Very knowledgeable, honest and to the point, some feel slighted by upfront honesty but in his line of work it’s necessary. I was sent to him due to an emergency visit to the ER in regards to a Hernia that I knew I had for 10+ years just couldn’t get anyone else to listen. Due to my obese weight and lack of medical terminology I dealt with it until it landed myself into ER. Dr Kia was very honest with me right from the start. He is an excellent surgeon and even with his knowledge and skills did not feel confident in being able to go in and fix my hernia being obese as I was. Thus began my weight loss journey which 5+ years and a half dozen surgeries later (not all related) I am thankful and would not change a thing! I am 100+ lbs lighter, which in turn has given me a happier, healthier life to live and be an example for my kids that they can also be proud of.
Pam Hamilton: I trusted him totally for months,but by the time him and his associate Dr Mark Mattingly got through with me I was near death. Sure I might have had complications, but every time I had another surgery they made my situation worse. Never will I ever go back to them. I ended up going to Uof M. The surgeons there saved my life! I went through hell because of them! Had to retire early my life was turned upside down! Would never recommend them to any of my family and friends!
Venetta Tucker: Had gall bladder removed today. Met his assistant, not the doctor. Would have liked to see him before surgery due to being nervous. He is not as empathetic and kind of blunt in his speaking, but he's a great surgeon.
Helen Wong: My husband Kenneth Humphries was sent to Dr. Kia by another good doctor witch ended up saving his life. Dr.Kia. went right to work. Ken had stage 4 colon rectal in 2011 and has been cancer free for the last 4 years thanks to Dr. Kia and several other doctors. He told him the frist day that he would save his life and he was true to his word.
Tonya Lindsey: Dr Kia saved my life when no other Dr believed my symptoms and didn't know what was wrong with me .He performed emergency surgery on me, the only reason why I will have chronic pain for life is because I didn't get to him earlier.
