Jamie Nelson: After an absolutely exhausting day of phone calls to customer service, I finally got to speak with Tracy. Let me tell you, this guy knows what he's doing. I was called last night (less than 24 hours before my move) and was informed the truck I had reserved is no longer available and there's nothing they could do to help. After about 10 phone calls and more than 7 full hours wasted Tracy calls me and helps me get the whole situation rectified. They rented my truck out to packaging services (ups, FedEx) as they do this around the holidays. Tracy is having someone from the Flint location go pick up my rental truck from Saginaw so I may pick it up tomorrow. THANK YOU TRACY! I will update my review again once the truck has been picked up.

Tonya G: Stay Away!!!! The worst customer service Ever!!!! The tall blonde young lady behind the counter was extremely rude !!!!! If you don’t like your job don’t work there Simple!!!!! She cuts you off in mid conversation, acts like it was an inconvenience because she had to get up to check in our equipment!!! Did I mention she rolled her eyes???? And when walking out behind her she let the door close on us just Rude!!! As long as you have her working there my family members and myself will go somewhere else!!!!!
JT Fike: Do not use this location charged me for gas that I did not owe. They made a paperwork error which read to return on 1/4 of tank. I returned it above it and they charged me since there was not more in it. Be careful while dealing with these people.
Alma Burwell: Needed a truck across a short time frame and these guys really impressed. Guy at front desk was friendly and accomodating! When I returned the vehicle the gentleman even came to the window to ask if I was returning, and did all the rest for me. Was very pleased with my service at this location, would use again!

Sonya Olsen: Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Nobody was there when I first went into the store. The tall large blonde girl at the desk was extremely rude after she decided to come out and greet me. Not friendly at all! GET ANOTHER JOB IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY !! NOT to mention they had me pick up a truck at another location first and when I got there, that truck was unavailable. I was inconvenienced all the way around and then they overcharged me mileage and gas! I’ve rented from uhaul many times.. DO NOT GO HERE. Try another location!You can see by the many bad reviews at this particular store.
aleysia charleston: Don’t rent from here. If you do take a picture of the whole vehicle including the gas and all. I am young and they ran my card for 62$ when they was supposed to run in for 34$ then they ran it for 41$ then 62$. They charged me for gas and miles I never used. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE UHAUL PLACE ON MILLER RD. THEY ARE SO SWEET & will work with you , help you out and is very honest.
Michey McGinnis: To start the truck we got had a spare tire on it and then they wouldn't let us rent a trailer and truck from the same location.Then on top of all that the persons name that was on the contract ended up in the hospital and went into a coma and I tried to communicate with them about it and they threatened to report the truck stolen.I tried to explain to them several times that I had to get power of attorney on the contract holder to be able to get the keys from her property at the hospital and they still proceeded to threaten to report the truck stolen.I would not recommend this location to anyone for anything. The Miller road location was more accomedating than the Dort Hwy location.I don't know what they got going on there but the ppl are rude and very elementary. When we arrived to get the truck and all the manager was outside getting high and smelled of alcohol.

Kaitlyn Howarth: This location helped us out after our reservation fell through at another location. They were able to get us a truck right away and the staff member working that day also helped us get reimbursed because of their guaranteed reservation policy.

Roger Hill: Horrible customer service. On a Sunday I called it to ask if it would be problematic if I came close to closing, they said as long as I make it before 5. When I pulled in at before 5 they ran to the door and locked it. Sad and disrespectful.

Samantha Cardenas: Made a share 24/7 reservation, arrived 17 minutes late (figured I was ok since I wasn’t actually going into the office). I was never informed that they automatically cancel if you are 15 minutes late (maybe it’s in the fine print). Struggled with the app for a few minutes before I saw someone outside. Ended up being the owner. Asked for help. He looked up our information and he told me I was supposed to be there 15 minutes early. I told him I had an email that said different. He argued with me that I did not have a 24/7 reservation, ignoring me when I said I had proof in my email. His associate tried to say that I was an hour late. Yelled at me that there was nothing he could do.

Faith Russell-Lipka: I ordered a couch through Big Lots! Who delivers through Ryder Logistics. They set up to deliver my couch between 9 am and 11am today. I took a personal day off of work in order to receive my couch. Then I get a call at 10 am(in the middle of the previously stated time frame) that when they were loading the truck that my couch "wouldn't fit" so they would have to reschedule for Thursday. You would think that they would measure the furniture they were to put on the truck BEFORE loading, or even scheduling it, to confirm that it would all fit. I am outraged!!

Tim OBrien: I had a "guaranteed" reservation for a truck rental here. When I arrived to take delivery of the vehicle the customer office door was locked. I stepped into another door leading to a service area where I was advised that the rental manager was on a "personal errand". When he returned (carrying what I presumed was lunch) I was advised that the vehicle I "reserved" had been loaned out but was expected to be returned later that afternoon.I drove to the depot again the following morning and was advised that the vehicle was still out but would be returned later that afternoon - again. At this point my window of opportunity had closed and I could not execute the move for which I had lined up others' help as well as a hotel reservation which I was charged for because of cancellation. The manager never indicated why the vehicle I had reserved was leased to someone else. When I asked for a customer service number in corporate he replied that he only had access to the 1-800 nobody-ever-answers line. Um...OK.I have sent three messages to Ryder corporate through their website asking for someone to contact me to discuss the issue and advise how we can avoid this situation in the future. I never received the courtesy of a reply.It is obvious this company hides behind a veil of corporate anonymity, lacking accountability and regard for their customer's problems and concerns. The service and treatment I received was unprofessional and reprehensible. I would advise not doing business with this outfit.

Peggy Kendrick: Very bad! Took a very long time to check in. Did not receive equipment with my reservation and was still charged. Took long time to return truck. Bar code process didn't work. Had to call customer service. Waited over 10 minutes to get through to a customer service rep.

Keith Pierce: Ron there was very rude and unprofessional. All he did was brag about his experience, I have 28 years. Then asks ya if you have any questions then cuts ya off with this is a test not training being arrogant. This guy apparently has issues.Feels like this place is just out there to grab your money they tried rescheduling me 2 times and at a 190 a time this place is a scam. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Chris Ruhl: Took my CDL test here and rented a truck from them. I failed the first 2 times I took the test but the tester had good reason. Terry and Brian are good guys to test with and will help you where they are allowed to. Craig and Michelle in Grand Rapids who you talk to make appointments are also good people and are willing to help. Through this testing experience I was ready to give up even after the first time, it's not easy, but get training and don't give up.
Brad Rice: I did my CDL training and testing and rented the truck from here and it was a Class A experience, my trainer my tester and the truck I rented were all top-notch, hats off to everyone.

Luke: No one is ever at the front desk to assist customers. The new guy at the pumps gives the best service. All the other employees give you an attitude when you walk in. You are made to feel like a pain in their rears for just walking in. My company contracts with them and I hate having to go there almost every day.
