Kelly Brown: I started taking my 3 dogs here back in 2011 because it just got too hard to schedule appts at my regular vet and it was SO expensive with 75, 90, and 120lb dogs. My vet actually referred me here and I have been so happy. Besides their routine care, they have done a spay, a neuter, a few illnessness and eye infections, and an emergency tail amputation. Three weeks ago, my 15 year old pit bull went from fine to not fine in a matter of days and I decided it was time. I was a wreck and the whole staff there couldn’t have been more kind or compassionate. I was able to get a private cremation done on site so I could keep his ashes, as well as order a keepsake ceramic pawprint. When I came back to pick them up, everyone was SO nice again, they explained how to bake the pawprint (which was lovely by the way and also had his name stamped into it and was in the shape of a heart) and the ashes were in a cute pawprint tin. Everything was personalized with his name and hearts. A few days later, I received the most thoughtful (also personalized) sympathy card in the mail. These people care about you and your pets. Yes, you have to wait sometimes…but you also didn’t have to make an appointment. And they charge more than reasonable prices and treat everyone so nice (even me when I come in trying to wrestle a Chow Chow and a Cane Corso through the door lol).

Dr.Schwartz and ALL the Staff , were EXTREMELY Kind, and Helpful!! They REALLY went Above and Beyond to help me and my cats. The Compassion was AMAZING. B. K.: I called yesterday asking if they were open 24 hours, they said yes but they aren’t taking anyone else in and referred me to a vet that was an hour away. On our way to the vet that was an hour away, our cat died. What is the point of being a 24 hour animal hospital if you can’t treat animals in need?
Meagan Sharrow: I had taken my boxer here for 11 years. They cared for him his entire life, from routine matters to a couple emergency services. The staff and doctors are wonderful. I recently had to help my best friend cross the rainbow bridge and the staff was so accommodating and kind- even staying late to ensure I had the time with Zeus that I needed. The process was painless and very peaceful for my pup. They also have cremation service onsite which is comforting. Zeus and I would recommend 10/10.

Lexi Fus: I am very thankful to have found this veterinary office! I had my dog spayed there about a month ago and it went great!! I was an anxious dog mom leading up to the day, so I called the office and they talked me through everything and answered all my questions! They were super understanding and I felt very comfortable bringing her in on the day. I called to check on her in the afternoon and they gave me a great update, and when I went to pick her up in the morning, she was her perfect, energetic self! I was so nervous with leaving her overnight, but I know she was well taken care of and back to normal by the time I went to take her home, thank goodness!! They are much, much more affordable than other vets I have taken her to and gotten quotes from. I am glad I chose to get the surgery done here and will continue taking her here for checkups and vaccines. Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses for your great customer service to both me and my pup!!

Workin Progress: Dr Ehrman is unbelievably rude and uncaring to be in the veterinary profession, he's cold and short with you especially if he knows you are on a budget.
Coco: I have been bringing my dogs here for years and one of them is now pregnant. I tried to call to see if I could get a pregnancy check up on her and they told me they don’t do them and that there was no way to care for her unless she has an emergency during the pregnancy. Like what kind of Vet doesn’t check on their pregnant dogs? Go find a better vet.

Cindy Bob: This is the BEST vet I have ever been too!!!! They were reasonably priced and the workers are super GREAT! I have another female cat that I will be making an appointment for too. My cat tried to rip me apart getting her into the cat crate. She was very combative with me. When the female came into look at Ally she didn’t try to attack any of them. I am amazed! Thanks you guys! It was a very hard time for my family but Dr. Miller and his staff were very nice and accommodating the entire time.Jump to 2022-2023 and he has seen a littler of pups from my Shepard's at a great price to do the first round of everything for 7 pups.This year (2023) I was taking my female to another vet office to be spayed and it was going to cost me almost $800 and having to wait until the end of the month. She was getting ready to go into heat and my male does not take no as an answer.I called Dr. Millers office and the lady who answered not only remembered the pups we took there but was also able to get her booked for surgery the following day and almost $200 cheaper then the other vet.Dr. Miller is my new regular vet! We love the staff here.

Bobbie Pritchard: I love this place. Super friendly staff, good vet. My dog has issues because of past trama in her life. She was abused, starved, hit by a car before I got her she didn't even know what a toy was. Then she bc extremely attached to my husband, she went everywhere with him. Unfortunately she was in car accident that killed my husband. The doctor was very sympathetic towards my dog n myself. She has seizure/panic attacks that she's being treated for. What's most wonderful is if I have any questions, I call the office, get put on short hold , while office staff ask the vet. Anywhere from what food is best to what to do when my dog got stung in the mouth by a bee! Good caring people. 100% recommended!

Marcie Gould: I was extremely unhappy with my experience at Animal Medical Clinic. I called to inquire if I would be allowed back with my pet. They said yes so I happily made an appointment. The day of the appointment they canceled my appointment as they said the doctor called in sick. I rescheduled ASAP which was 2 weeks later. When I went there they only allow you in the waiting room. I agreed to treatment, but I wasn’t happy. The doctor came out to speak with me and told me there aren’t any veterinary clinics where you can go in. I politely disagreed. He said”well not in our area. I told him I was told of 3 just today where friends said they go in. He then said “I’ll have them bring your dog out to you. I won’t work on him. So I waited a month for the appointment and 20 minutes in the waiting room. I was never rude. I did not threaten, use foul language or raise my voice. I just wasn’t happy. I’m still not. I pulled out of the clinic, called another vet up in Clio who Allow one person to go back with their pet.
Beckie Moorhouse: I am SO incredibly thankful to find Dr Walton! I was referred by a friend, and it has been such a great experience for my dogs.We were out of state and my little Norwich Terrier was having some health issues. I couldn't get into a Vet for 3weeks! Imagine my panic.....my husband suggested calling Dr Walton, maybe he could help? So to make a long story short, Dr Walton got me an RX in another town and really put my mind at ease. He's so kind and compationate, so lucky I found him!

Everyone is very understanding towards our pets and us and aware we have financial limitations despite how much we love our animals. Dr. Walton did everything he could and got us all the referrals we needed when our baby got cancer, we were too late to save her but I know he tried.

Vet tech calls and cancels appointment and tells me to go somewhere else they don’t have time to spayed dogs right now. Not really a fan of having puppies or a dog in heat. I didn't have to sit in the parking lot and call, hoping I could get him seen; like so many of the vets in this area are doing because of Covid 19. I actually got an appointment, with a date and time. The vet and techs were extremely friendly and did everything they could to try and make the experience for my dog less scary. He is a 97lb German Shepherd mix that is scared to death of the vet. I feel I have finally found a permanent vet to take all of my pets to from now on. I highly recommend them.

michelle schmitz: My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received here. We brought our dog in for a CT scan and unfortunately had to put her down after and the staff was very caring and comforting to us. Sad to say I can't remember the ladies names that helped us but I highly recommend going here. Very nice and caring staff that helped make things easy for me and my husband. Dylan Read: Our puppy was diagnosed with a likely ectopic ureter from the time she was about 3 months old. Our experience with the vet team at the Animal Surgical Center of Michigan was nothing but positive. They were extremely thorough and provided us with all the information we needed to make the best decision for our Nova. The bilateral ectopic ureter surgery was a successful operation and we could not be more thankful to Dr. Degner, Dr. Pearson, and the entire team that helped. Nova and ourselves are so appreciative!

Betta Babe: I was referred here to get my cat Noodle a CT scan for constant congestion...it was recommended to do a biopsy and get culture's of his nose. Cancer was ruled out, but he did grow three types of bacteria in the cultures. Luckily, it's treatable with medication. Dr. Okonkowski was delightful to speak with when I picked Noodle up, and she texted me the results. The staff was very helpful as well...not my dog, he was waiting for his hoomins

Danielle Schwartz: ASC of MI was the only surgical center we called after our cat broke his leg that could schedule his surgery within 24 hours AND cared about saving his leg, not just amputating. Dr. Bander and the rest of the team were patient and kind. Thanks to them my cat Gordon is walking on all four legs again. I would (and have already) recommend this place to anyone.

He was just a quick message away with any questions I had and even personally texted me the day after I took my foster home to see how he was recovering. Definitely a team of surgeons and staff that take excellent care of their clients and their patients.

Tonya Davis: I make no apologies with this review! The actual veterinary doctors are great BUT-very slow and the entire front office of young(er) girls- whether they talk to you on the phone or in person, they lack ANY professionalism, ANY sense of urgency, and if you’re finally in front of the 2-3 hour WAITING line you’ve been in or in your car, still no one will give a courtesy hello or even glance at you in fear of having to address the reason you came in UNTIL you say “hey I’m here for ……..” It is a WALK in clinic NOT a waiting forever clinic. Trust me YOU WILL BE WAITING- find another clinic because myself and my sister are. I understand you’re busy but being busy doesn’t have to be frustratingly slow and painfully detached from urgency. The same is true about West Flint Animal Hospital.

Tiffany Daly: Thank goodness I decided to get a second a opinion. I was told that our dog needed to have surgery and surgery wasn’t guaranteed as it could cause the site to keep opening and as a result we may have to put our dog down. Well, none of that sat well with me. I brought our dog here and the doc started him on a round of antibiotics, steroids and Benadryl. Needless to say, no surgery and the mast cell tumor is gone! Thank you!

Robin Redmond: The staff here are some of the best I've experienced. We have 3 dogs that all go here now...German Shepard, Black Lab & a Beagal. The beagal has been here so many times for being a naughty dog. Lol He had surgery here (I thought he was gonna die cause he had a stomach blockage & was acting overly lethargic) after taking him to several different places for help. They took great care of him. Even though he had to come back several times in a row for stuff that was his fault & some was not, they treated him & me well each time. So we changed all 3 dogs over to them.
David Alexander: They have saved my mother's dog in an emergency & mine this pat fall when attacked by bees. I thank them for there service & personal care.
Bobbie Pritchard: I absolutely love this vet. The girls are WONDERFUL at the counter and the Dr is super with my tft. He listens to what I say and actually goes out of his way to help. My dog has a neurological condition with causes her to drag her hind legs, become limp, and her tongue hangs out but Dr diagnosed it as seizures and instead of putting her on life long meds he's trying everything else first. They are also very reasonable priced.
Raisa Hradowsky: I like the service I didn't have to make a appointment to see someone my cat was very sick and they did everything they could to help her.The only thing I didn't like was the I have to pay 50.00 dollars for a consultation and they didn't tell me.
Liz Batsios: Used to be a five star vet now he's rude. My family has been going to him sfor over 20 years I recommended my daughter to him and they yanked her dogs collar and was very rude to her she waited for over 2 hours with a 11 month old baby I will NOT be recommending this vet and WILL be taking my pets elsewhere.

Joe McCormick: Had a tick on my dog, it happen to fall off while waiting. Front counter checked to make sure it was all there and then disposed of it, canceled my appointment, as they were calling for my appointment, with no issues. Purchased flea and tick medicine and was told to come back in 2 weeks for a test because of the tick bite, they gave me details, I just can't remember at the time of typing this review. They were very busy, but I don't mind waiting for great service.
jennifer burrows: Taking my puppies to this Vet is a bit of a drive, but well worth it! Pup #1 is tempermental but with the patience and kindness of the staff, her appointment went smoothly. Pup #2 is a baby starting her first shots, received her ID chip, and a very thorough health exam. This office reminds me if the kindness of the old farm vets I used to visit.

Dariona Elyce: I would say it’s a sham. They just want your money. There’s so many places that cares for the pet more than overcharging you. I made an appointment the same day not even an hour later I canceled it because I read some reviews and was not satisfied and got charged $25 cause it wasn’t in the 24-48 hour cancellation mind you I made the appointment 30 mins ago ….
Cathy Madden: When I took my cats here, they were treated well. When it came time for them to be euthanized, at separate years, they were great! Very professional. The only thing I'd recommend if your cat or dog needs to be euthanized, is to have it done intravenously. It's the quickest way. One of my cats had it done in the abdomen, it it was so agonizing because it was a slow process.

Lily Beth: Old, well established clinic. A little bit out of my price range. The happy 19 year old cat shown below, hadn't had a shot since being altered. Even a indoor cat needs regular visits. We love our animals. They need regular treatment for preventing common life ending things, heartworms (dogs and cats). Parvo and other COMMON things that will kill our fur babies.

Angel Cleary: I have been a long time loyal customer to them. Recently my dog has developed seizures. I took him to this place 3 times and each time I was told they couldn't find anything wrong and I may need to go to a specialist.I felt useless at trying to help my little puppy feel better. I took him to Pierson Pet Hospital on Davison Rd. Within 1 APPOINTMENT there was a prescription ordered for him and his seizures have not happened since he got the medicine! Will not be back to this place for any reason.
A K: This is a really great vet. Properly diagnosed a severe spinal problem for my parents’ Coton, and sent me to a great surgeon. They also take care of my Golden Retriever Boston, who is the love of my life and I’d only take to the best.

Great people, caring as well. His personality may be blunt, but by no means does that make him a bad vet that some people put on here. He will tell you how it is and how it needs to be. If you've been doing something for 50 years, I believe you've reached a magnitude level of absolute awesomeness!!! Dr. Mike is amazing and so is his staff. Jacqui Nippo: Loved Dr. Mike and his staff! First met him when we were new to the area and needed to get our senior dogs examined. He did his initial visit at our home and was kind and compassionate. When we had to take our Rotty in for an x-ray and were expecting to just get steroid shots for arthritis, he found her hip had been destroyed by bone cancer. His compassion for us and her was something i have never experienced with a vet in 27 years of having vet care. Pricing is most affordable and the house call option was a life saver! I feel comfortable asking questions and for the first time ever did not have pricey animal food shoved at me at every turn!!
